Seba Seba Albans Reviews
Great Colombian breakfast, the coffee here is amazing as is the service. Once your food is ordered your of just wondered if there was a magician in the small kitchen whipping up plates from a hat. Tried the combo with steak, eggs, arepa, rice and beans with a side of plantains with chicharon and pulled pork.
This is my favorite place to enjoy my Colombian food!!!!!! Good Neal, clean environment free of hassle. No body bother you when you are enjoying your meal!!!!!!I love it!!!!
The food here is really good. It's good Colombian food and baked goods in one. Would definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for good Colombian food and fresh baked bread.
It is a Colombian bakery restaurant if you want to try something different this is it
Food is always fresh and staff are a hit or miss - when they're nice it's great but when they have an attitude it's sad to see - but the food! You won't regret it!
As good as always... love my calentado with pericos and arepa con queso, not to mention the chicharron or pan de bono... yummm!
Honestly? I love Seba Seba. I really like their menu and the food. Whenever I eat breakfast, I order #2 which is Calentado with steak. That's my favorite from their menu. The chicken ala francaise is one of my favorite from their menu. I know a lot of places make it but trust me there's something special about the way they make it at Seba Seba. Parking isn't much of a problem but I guess if you drive having to pay for it can be annoying. The location is good. There are a lot of small stores around and a couple of pharmacies. Around this location they have other Colombian restaurant but trust me when it comes to taste, quality and price, Seba Seba is the best one. If you want to enjoy a nice meal or breakfast then Seba Seba is the right place.
Excellent customer service. The food is also fantastic. We went for breakfast and thre steak and eggs with rice and beans are incredible.
The food was delicious! Good price for the amount of food you get.
Food was great, service outstanding and very attentive, the atmosphere for a local eatery was like being in a scene from Friends!
Great service from the young ladies at the establishment , very courteous... food is good and price is decent ... I recommend patacones con chicharron y guacamole along with an aguapanela fria with Limon! 🇨🇴
Loveee lovee loveee. Obviously this is a latino restaurant obviously the workers are hispanic. They are super polite and alert. Food?? Chefs kiss! For the prices you cant beat it. Its Queens they havent caught up with the gentrified prices like BK. I have to eat here once a month so I travel from BK all the way here.
First time here although my brother-in-law has been here countless times. Excellent variety of food with a Columbian flavor. They also have breads and an excellent variety of pastries. Quantity of food was such that my wife and I shared one dinner order! A must try, if in the area. Quite different from my usual Vegas buffet fare!
It was a very authentic Colombian dining experience... It's heaven for meat eaters and there's options for veggie and vegan eaters although they might have to customize. I personally loved the fact they serve pony Malta, a Colombian soda rarely found in the USA.
Seba Seba is a good place to take friends and family it does get busy but overall the food and bread is delicious and will not be disappointed. Weekends are busy and weekday evenings at times as well but not a long wait. Coffee is fantastic can't go wrong with Colombian coffee. Personally prefer this place than other locations around but that's my opinion.
This place consistently has delicious food and large portions that keep me coming back. Equally impressive is their service the moment you walk through the door.
Delicious Food. Fantastic service. Very crowded but that's always a sign that great food awaits. The kids loved it especially my son who always wants to return for the chuleta. Will definitely return.
Good Colombian food. Friendly staff. Only takeout for now. I had a delicious egg sandwich and their version of Montanero. I highly recommend their coffee. Only take out for now.
Seba Seba has always been one of my favorite Hispanic casual dining establishments to have a meal in. The food is delicious, to say the least, but the service is superb. The server will tend to you anytime you need but isn't overbearing.
Colombian bakery that sells breakfast food as well as typical Colombian dishes. All of their stuff is really good and if you're looking for imported Colombian food items such as drinks and food this is the place! Staff is really nice and speaks Spanish as well as English.
Customer Service is great, Price Affordable, Easy to find Parking, Delicious Food. Definitely Two Thumbs Up!!! 👍👍 Don't forget to ask for Daniela, one of the best waitress.
What a way to start your day, having breakfast here is always a delight. Coffee, hot chocolate or a shake with your breakfast is delicious. Their baked goods are always fresh. All is a must try. Very good service.
The food is very good and flavorful. We came on a Friday and it wasn't as busy the food came pretty quick and we were in and out less than an hour. Customer service is pretty quick.
I love how fresh their pork belly is. They sell delicious pork belly 🐷
Waitresses are so nicely and polite my baby made a mess (I'm sorry again) and they were so helpful and polite with a nice smile they came over took care of us. (You maybe saying that's their job well u have a todler and not in every place I got treated like yesterday) 5of 5 to all employees
Wow this place is amazing. We loved the bandeja paisa and the limon camarones. We also had to take a big bag of buñuelos, empanadas, and arepas home to California! A must try for some good authentic Colombian food and baked goods.
The food in Seba Seba Is amazing. The people are also very welcoming. Is a must go place if you wanna try good colombian food in Jackson Heights.
So good my colombian friend prefers the food here than back home.
Very very delicious food. Always fresh. They have the best cheese for arepas, real quesito!!! From the side salad to the frijoles to the meats it’s just always made super well.
I love to come here everytime I go to Queens (once in a while) the food is so good. and the service is great. Also, I like to take some empanadas (cheese and beef) at home. My favorite plate is la Bandeja Paisa pequeña ( mini country plate). the beans taste so delicious, the rice and the meat everything is so perfect.. this time we tried the arepa, and it was so yummy..
We been going there for years, courtesy, kindness, excellent food , excellent attention, Seba Seba never lets you down , thank you guys !!!
Highly recommended! Their freshly baked bread has a delicious flavor and I'll be back for more very soon. The customer service is also very pleasant.
The Bandeja Paisa with an empanada/bunuelo/hot chocolate👍👍👍 will be my breakfast order for life. Thank you so much:)
When you first walk in the aroma of the food hit your nose 👃 such a pleasant order . The restaurant is very clean 🧽 The staff is very attentive to your needs . Both languages are spoken here . So do not worry if your pronunciation is not up to par. Your here for the food . You will not be disappointed. Very well prepared. Enjoy a meal by yourself or with your friends. Or with your family. Which ever way you go . You will enjoy your meal 🥘 bon appétit

This is my place to eat my favorites dishes and the coffee from my home country in Colombia, Because I was born in Colombia but move to America and New York City has the best Colombian foods and restaurants they have, so if you're moving to USA and you're from Colombia then you and you're family will love to try this because eating some of the Colombian foods will help you feel like home again.
Empanadas were a bit too dry. Tasty but dry, particularly the chicken one. Service is nothing less than white glove.
Good Colombian restaurant. Although, I bit more of smiles from the girls behind the counter I would say... Even the manager was more excited than them.
Nice, cozy local spot. Gets four stars, not a perfect place but it's good. There a lot of cafes but this one is like a local shop from another country. Fresh pastries, good coffee, cozy place. If can be better but it's good. Manager is not a friendly guy but respectful.. The other staff was ok
Nice atmosphere and friendly staff, the empanadas are great as are the smoothies. One note, my friend got a sandwich and the bread had a bit of mold. It was small but this is something to consider.
Food is great. The service can be better to much socializing very hard to get the servers' attention.
tried the Arepa! the guac was so refreshing. the quantity is enough for two people depending on what you order. the pork sausage arepa was a bit more than i could handle but it tasted delicious. just make sure to not let it go cold, the cornbread and the sausage dont taste good when cold. staff was very nice, didnt know much English but it was enough for a good experience
Excellent tres leches cake. Great AC, place was nice and cool on a hot day. Good coffee
Food is perfect, staff is friendly, the place could be a little cleaner but it is still clean. Reason why it’s not so clean is because it is usually busy with almost all the tables being used. It’s noisy since there is a bunch of people but it’s a great experience. There is a variety of music, a television with cable, and a somewhat cleaned bathroom. The price is reasonable since they are usually large plates. Four stars 😎
The food is so good , lunch specials are great BUT what I got disappointed was that the older looking lady does all the job , she had 11 tables and the other two young ladies where behind the service bar and barely helped her and that’s not fair cause I’m sure they split the tip , from now on I would just like to give my tip to the older lady and she for sure deserve a raise!!! Stop hiring lazy serves if they don’t team work.
Very yummy food and nice staff! I would have given 5 stars if not for the price. The layout is very simple and humble, it should Not be priced so high in my opinion. I was surprised at our bill.
The only reason why this place don’t get 5 stars is because parking is very pain in the ass , it can get very congested with cars u have to be lucky to find a spot…also no place inside restaurant to charge your phone. I spoke with manager about this and still no improvement. Food is delicious and staff friendly El parqueo es muy estresante tienes Que tener suerte para encontrar donde poner tu carro, adentro no ay donde conectar cellular , el manager no quiere hacer nada al respecto
I used to come here when I was younger, it was perfect to me but I think everything changes, ordered a chicken with lime, meat was raw, not the first time tho. Foods not the same, like before, so…
Food was ok. Servers are not attentive and they usually attend the bigger tables expecting a big tip. Place was clean, however, no sanitizer offered. Lighting is good, cozy.
Almost 15 years or so, since this place opened, it's time for change, a lot more modern, also the food is more of the same, and it's ok, this time was cold, the bakerybis always good love the always warm buñuelos, service is always good
Had the classic Bandeja Paisa with the Mrs, it was ok. The chicharon didn't have much flavor to it and rice and beans were lack luster Service was good
This is a chain business. The small restaurant offers savory dishes, at reasonable prices. The interior of the restaurant is simple. The main feature is a television that most of the time plays Latin music-videos. The service is quick, and very friendly. The restaurant also delivers. I like to go there once in a while, to enjoy a quick delicious steak, with a cold Corona.
My wife and I go here for the buñuelos. They’re usually hot and delicious. Their food offerings are good, but the buñuelos are the stars for me.
Today's breakfast wasn't good, the "calentado" was very cold as well the home fries, the "calentado" did not have chopped scallion to give flavor, only the eggs and coffee were hot and good, I let the waitress know and that he needs to tell the chef about this matter because no body wants to eat a cold breakfast, you're paying for it. I won't come back.
after a couple years I decided to visit food was very fast perfect for a quick bite which I’m happy about but unfortunately I did not like the way I got seated/ greeted :((((((
I went back to this place and had to change a previous review. I had credited this place with having the best stewed beans around. Unfortunately the last time i went the quality just wasnt there and neither was the flavor. Although still ok not the quality or flavor i got on previous visits. I had their chicken empanadas as well as their beef empanadas, both were still very good. The service was mid, and the place still needs a makeover, i will still go back in hopes for the food i have gotten in the past
Service lately has been a lot better because usually it's been hit or miss with some nasty attitude and service. The reason I'm reviewing now is because this should never have happened: I ordered "agua panela with lemon" and received it with a bug inside...a BUG!!!! 🤮 Seriously?? This is just not acceptable especially after they're "particular" in how they do things there. Their breakfast dish with eggs with tomatoes and onions is delish; their baked goods are a second place to a way better place a block away on Roosevelt Ave (Pecoshitas); chicharon is also hit or miss. I do like their coffee (black) and their chicken empanada. They also make the best pique. Location and service is eh...

Good food, but the service was bad and the waiter kept my change without asking for it, don't even ask if it's everything ok. Bad experience for me, won't repeat this place
We pass by this place frequently and were attracted by the fact that it is always crowded with locals seeming to enjoy their offerings. We went by once and were disappointed by the bland food and poor service, and with so many excellent places in the neighborhood, never returned. We had empanadas that were almost devoid of stuffing, as well as several other dishes mediocre at best.
Bad experience. Usually have good dinners here but I came one week day at night 8pm after work (being very tired and hungry) and was totally disappointed at the end. My breaded chicken was toasted. Definitely was fried in old oil and my rice and beans were warm looks like they didn't even take time to warm it up especially considering that it's late at night and customers are still coming in. I'm turn off by the service when i told my waiter about my food and he seemed to not care. Only said sorry. So overall very disappointing when you rely on their food after a long day of work. Old oil and warm food but out of hunger I still had to eat something! Will not be coming back here again. Pollo marios is the new go to now for me since I work late nights! Very sad since I'm always satisfied with their service...
Food is ok…is a great thing that in that area there are other options. Just be there before 8 pm otherwise you will have to deal with the employees sweeping, mopping and moving the furniture around you which can be distracting and the smell of cleaning products might spoil your appetite.
The food that you order from the menu is good but from the bakery the bread and pan de bono were old. The coffee was bitter. The girls should smile and be more kind I didn't like it today
Very mucho I disliked. Food wasn't very good. Soup didn't have much taste. My soup cooked at home are much delicious than what we had. For a piece of meat just the meat, hard and small the charge was extravagant, expensive $8.00. I DON'T THINK I GO BACK. No social distance, tables are too close.
I used to love this place before, their empanadas are mediocre now and their buñuelos were hard. Overpriced for low quality food.
Ordered a pan de yuka that was so hard you could hammer a nail with it. When I tried to get it taken off the bill, the waitress said, "I told you it was hard," and sent a manager over. She said the same until I banged it on the table then she said she could only give me a credit for something else.
Ordered a whole wheat Crossiant and it was a bit stale. Told the waitress and stated that it was fresh and then she said it was from the day before. When someone goes to get breakfast you clearly want fresh bread and not from the day before. But the French fries were good and the hot chocolate.
the food generally is good. but this time a chorizo was not good the manager came with a hard face and stated that the chorizo was ok, and simply said that’s the way they are, in te contrary the male manager has better ways to answer for a case like that, well we left the chorizo we didn’t want to eat something that will make me sick

We ate here this morning. 20 minutes after eating Everyone ended up in the bathroom with severe stomach pain and movement of bowels. Avoid yourself the trouble.
My friends and I used to enjoy this restaurant however, Tonight we had to pick up the order, they don't deliver, they give us the wrong order, we had to send someone else to get the right order, only to have our food thrown out by one of the waitresses before we get there, and they just give us chicken/ beef patties! Not everyone can eat chicken or beef!
horrible service, I went to buy my breakfast and the girl who works at the cashier, on the morning shift, is a despicable and poorly educated person, she did not let me choose my breakfast properly when she was already charging someone else knowing that it was my turn later He didn't let me sit down because I was carrying a coffee somewhere else, how bad it is to have an experience like that, the truth is I won't return to this legacy again👎🏻
The food is good depends all in what you order. The service of the girls at the counter is the worse. They take order so fast that if you request something in particular it wouldn’t happen.
Got hen soup and had no meat in it I mean like not even one piece and got charged 8-9 dollars for it this is bs
I was here today, ordered Bandeja Paisa 1st time ever chicharrón and chorizo OVERCOOKED...I asked for change IT, Waiter said that's the way is always Cook here and refused to change IT at first though, then many minutes later he came to the table and asked me if I want to try for another one. I accepted but was the same. Not recommend to my friends to go there
Worst place ever. Nasty waiter, nasty owner, dirty place, Very tight space, very expensive. The food was below acceptable.
Horrible customer service! Our servers attitude was not acceptable. On top of that they had the audacity to self charge $10 from my credit card, I clearly left no tip and that’s unlike me. I am always very appreciative as I myself worked as a server. I called Seba Seba to dispute charge but they said that additional charges are common. Which is crazy!! I don’t care about the money, I am just shocked on how disrespectful and dishonest they are.
Being from the neighborhood, I used to frequent this place a lot. My family and I were fans. However, about 3 years back (more or less) management was changed and it’s so bad now :( Heart-breaking! The lady manager there is very rude and has zero skills on customer service. The last time I went my chicharrón was burnt, and the tostones were flimsy. When I told her about it she basically told me to deal with it. Her attitude sucks! She was a waitress before and a bitter one. Why Seba?
Be careful! when you buy from the bakery. They will sell you cold bread and ones they give it to you they won’t exchange it for something fresh. The manager horrible customer service because she told me that the Colombian bread in that location is cold and hard.
Got the chicharron today and it nasty 🤢. It smelled weird and definitely didn’t look fresh. Disappointing, they shouldn’t be serving food like that. The meat in my bandeja paisa was questionable last time I ordered there also, but wanted to give it another chance, and shouldn’t have. Won’t be eating there again.
I never knew about the minimum for this place. They treated a nurse who is me like a homeless person. I never carry cash and they told me to go next door and take out money and did not accept card only for 10. It was there way or no way . An old.kind man offered to pay . They were very snobby and grabbed the 5 dollars from him. So cruel. Never come here
By far the worst breakfast I have had!! Regret not walking down the block to Cositas Ricas! This place has the same food as Cositas Ricas BUT it’s terrible quality, more expensive and the service is just bad. Food: I ordered a Pechuga a la Francesa and it was literally fried chicken breast with lemon juice on top no sauce of any kind! Another plate we ordered was one of the breakfast and it was a small portion! Like very small! Not worth the $12! The service: they were in a rush! We had three waitresses removing plates we were still eating from!!! We had to tell them they still have food on them because we weren’t done if that wasn’t obvious. Only reason we came here was because my mom said we hadn’t been there in a while like years, and now we know why!!! Up the block on Roosevelt Avenue is Cositas Ricas (but we were a little tired of eating here almost every morning and wanted to try something new😂)!! The portions are a lot bigger I promise and the prices are fairly similar! But the food there is worth it! The service is impeccable and they are not in a rush for you to finish and leave!! Make the trip it’s literally on the other corner and will be better worth your time and money. *Update in response to reply: as I mentioned the QUALITY of the food is not worth the prices they charge.
Terrible service, bought a buñuelo empty inside and when I told the lady, she said “it happens”. Terrible service, being your business elsewhere. A bunch of smart asses.
I order huevos Rancheros and the beans was 🥶 cold i didn't like them sauce on the side doesn't look like a real huevos rancheros
Some of the dishes here are very tasty. However some are very bland and dry. I had a horrible experience at Seba Seba today. The staff do NOT speak English. They were clueless about what I wanted. However, the manager seems to speak some English. The waitresses seemed to be impatient and bothered when we tried to ask some questions about the menu. I wanted something extra and she said it didn’t come with the dish so she couldn’t do it. When my 2.5 year old toddler spilled some papaya juice on the table, the waitress passed by it without giving us extra napkins or wiping the table with the cleaning towel she had. She came back after we were almost done cleaning it ourselves. Very inattentive and distracted staff. I would not recommend this place for good food with pleasant service.
Review of Seba Seba Steak House, Seafood, & Bakery: My recent experience at Seba Seba left much to be desired. Despite confirming my order over the phone, the service was incredibly lacking. Upon arrival, I was dismayed to find that my order hadn't been processed, necessitating a replacement after an hour-long wait. The attitude of the staff, particularly Tatiana, was disappointingly rude and unprofessional. It was evident that there was a severe lack of concern from the management regarding customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Attempting to address these issues only led to further disappointment, as I was reprimanded for a technical issue during the phone call, rather than offered a solution or apology. It's clear that the management prioritizes blame over rectifying mistakes and ensuring a positive dining experience. Furthermore, the decline in food quality was evident in my recent visit. The dishes were poorly cooked, further compounding the dissatisfaction with the overall experience. In essence, Seba Seba falls short of delivering the standards expected of a reputable establishment. I advise potential patrons to steer clear of this establishment until significant improvements are made in both service and food quality. A fundamental aspect of customer service is attentiveness and responsiveness to customer concerns, qualities that were sorely lacking during my visit.
They started putting nuts in the tres leches. Why? Why would anyone do that? The most common allergen in America, is now in the cake. Mind you I’ve been coming here for 2 decades. It was never there. Now it is. Evil.
On 9/8/25 around 5pm, they added a tip to my card without my permission, about an hour after I left the store. If I hadn’t received the notification on my phone, I never would have known.
Sat there for aboit 20min with my son and never got a waiter or menus. I saw three different people come in after me and were attended immediately. They all kept looking at me and never came up to me once to ask me what I wanted or needed. Usually I go there with my husband and get attendee right away. Very disappointed in them
