A great place to grab lunch or dinner. Excellent food and service. You can take out or eat outside or at the counter area. There is an online ordering system, or you can order at the location on a kiosk while Taka is coming, or in person from Liz. Liz is friendly and energetic and Taka makes amazing food. This is a family owned restaurant and you can tell the whole family is involved in giving the place a great vibe with lots of small details to notice.

Finally ordered food here and I don’t know why it took me so long! And it’s only a 4 minute walk from my apartment! Ordered the chicken and rice bento (Regular $10.99) with aurora maple sauce (+$1). It’s good with or without the sauce. Perfect match with the white rice. My food was ready within 10 minutes! Great atmosphere and very good food! Very friendly owners! Just the way they prepare and present your food means they care! You can order online or inside on the kiosk. Follow and like their FB page to keep you updated! One of Saint Albans hidden gem!

Found this cute place exactly same as my name and had to come by!! Delicious food, super friendly and hospitable restaurant owners❤️ me and my friend got curry and katsu don and as a Japanese curry lover I can tell the curry here is the real deal (not from the curry packs)! The aroma when you walk in is just heaven like and you can tell they’re definitely serious about their food! Another highlight is how green they are, it just amazes me all the utensils and containers they use are paper/bamboo/glasses and in a fast-paced wasteful world we are in today it’s just almost impossible to find a restaurant like this. If you’re also trying to make a positive impact in the world and love authentic curry and great food- you need to visit! Thankfully we only live an hour away, will definitely be their regular!

We discovered Kaiju Kitchen on our way to Burlington from Montreal and decided to stop by in St. Albans for lunch. We loved their chicken karaage soo much that we asked the owner how they make it. 5 star!!! ⭐️

Very good karaage! The lettuce salad also has excellent seasoning. My only complaint is that they aren’t located in the Burlington area.

Came here for my second time to celebrate my 33rd birthday. And once again they knocked it out of the park. Eating there feels like a little slice of Japan! Thank you Kaiju for the wonderful birthday meal! I will be back.

The food was simple but delicious. I ordered the cold noodles with the crispy chicken and my husband ordered the curry chicken and rice. The noodles with nice and light and the crispy chicken had a great balance of flavor and not greasy. The curry chicken had bold flavors and a hint of spice. I enjoyed both meals and would recommend those to stop by and try this little gem. We sat outside the restaurant to enjoy our meal. One minor upgrade I could suggest is to get more comfortable chairs.

Such an unexpected gem in St. Albans! We ordered the whole menu and everything was so fantastic. The fried chicken was top notch, I was so surprised how crispy it stayed even with taking it to go! Another important note is that all the take out containers are plastic free, including the forks (I loved the magic napkins as well). Kaiju Kitchen is a must-go in St. Albans.

LOVED this place. Went with my son yesterday. Everything was wonderful. Welcoming atmosphere with so many things to look at. The food--- amazing. I wish I didn't live so far away, otherwise I would go there all the time. My son said- "I felt like I went to a friend's house for dinner.'

Ordered for the first time to celebrate my husband's birthday. As the owner handed us the to-go bag, she shared a wonderful story about how their chicken dish became "birthday chicken" for their family. Guess we'll share in that tradition, too. Fantastic food. Generous portions. Even the kids liked it. Will be returning for the next birthday for sure!

Visiting town and came with some friends who are locals and we tried this for the first time. The place is normally takeout but we sat inside and had a wonderful experience. Friendly owners who were really great to interact with. Incredible food, frankly the best I’ve had since being in town the last few days. Really awesome design on the inside with a great selection of drinks and a menu I can only imagine has been mastered. Will be sure to stop back before going home and am sad I can’t regularly attend.

We found this adorable little place today during a road trip. It was 25 minutes out of the way, but now that I’ve eaten here, I would drive an hour to eat here again. I might even drive two hours. It would be worth every mile. We got one of everything on the menu and everything was absolutely delicious. The owners are absolutely lovely and they gave us recommendations for things to see around the area. Even my four year old loved it! I cannot say enough nice things about this place. Go! Go! Go!

Super cool little “hole in the wall” joint. You can order your food ahead of time and it’s all set n ready for you. Very nice folks and wicked fun chips, drinks, deserts, and snacks from Japan. Great atmosphere with unique toys and trinkets rarely seen in these parts. The chicken was delicious and super crispy, fluffy/ sticky rice. Cabbage salad with a spicy sweet dressing. Super good. Next time I’ll ask for a little dipping sauce on the side. Milk tea to wash it down was delicious and different. You should go!

I love this place, it is 10/10 every time. It’s my favorite lunch to-go spot, but they also have a cozy corner to dine-in. Super friendly and owners are committed to quality and consistency. I also love the tiny little rolled up napkin that comes with your cutlery. It’s the details folks. 💞

Among the best fried chicken I've ever had :) A real gem within a lovely town. - Top notch food at reasonable prices - Clean & charming, inside and out - Amazing service - Convenient location with free parking - Easy to eat there or take out (the nearby park is pretty great as well) Don't sleep on the sides. In the chicken bento is a salad with a surprising and tasty spiciness, and the rice was perfectly cooked. A+, can't recommend enough :)
