Koffee Kat Espresso Bar Plattsburgh Reviews
Such a lovely spot to sit down and do some work. There is plenty of seating and the art for purchase featured all around this shop creates such a creative and chill atmosphere. The latte was incredible (no burnt espresso taste) and they made it to my preference (extra sweet) no problem! I just moved to the area and have only been here 3 times but I have no doubt I'll be visiting frequently. Coolest coffee shop I've been to in a while.
My favorite coffee shop in Plattsburgh. Wonderful people and excellent coffee. The shop has some great items and art. It's a must go in Plattsburgh.
My girls love this place , they always prefer this place over any other shop with boba. The owner is super nice and friendly. The atmosphere is super cool reminds me of SOHO, or the VILLAGE in NYC. Definitely our favorite place here in Plattsburgh. It’s a must if you’re already in Plattsburgh.
I don't have a photo. I love this place and so do my family. It's a family place. Best coffee shop in Plattsburgh. The lights are so pretty in there and same with artwork kid friendly and dog friendly too. People are always nice
this place is such a gem!! the decor, the energy, the everything !! i could come here everyday and never get bored the lovely person at the front today is so kind and quick and seems to love their job and are very good at it! i got their apple chai-der with their classic tapioca and DAMN IS IT GOOD! i paired it with their blueberry coffee cake (melted in my mouth)!! please come here if you’re local or just visiting
Koffee Kat is an amazing and integral space to the downtown Plattsburgh area. Well priced for specialized drinks and food, sociable staff, and the environment is something we're missing these days; a "third place". The shop spotlights local artisans and sells their goods, there are plenty of activities to do as well as events held all month long. There's music, never too loud or too annoying, and the lights are soft and easy on the eyes. If you're boycotting the large chain coffee shops, consider taking a trip down here and vote with your dollar.
Black coffee tasted a little strange to me; perhaps it just wasn't my preference. A little too nutty I think. However, their options for different kooky lattes and wide range of flavors was neat. Liked the aesthetic and locally-made trinkets from the community for sale. Dining room seemed pretty big for only selling coffee and were hoping for some kind of small kitchen. I suggest putting one in so that you can do fresh pastries in the morning rather than muffins and brownies in a glass box to make better use of the large dining room and increase revenue. Some more food options and flavored coffee without syrup and sugars would have been appreciated but nonetheless, a very cute, local spot with personable staff and calm music for hitting up when passing through town.
It's a small coffee shop in Plattsburgh. They have specialty coffee, teas and hot chocolate. A nice little place.
Not keep pace with competition , have a great case facing the door. Under utilized to say the least and could look so much better. Now it's no longer refrigeratored either. The new Owners are really nice people and I enjoy supporting them.they make you feel valued and appreciated. But not having at least what the competition is offering for typical eats with coffee is poor decision
Closed at 7:30 when they were supposed to close at 8? Me and my friends are a little confused on why they closed half an hour early , great food and atmosphere tho.
I just want to say, I love the vibe of this place. It’s been a staple of Plattsburgh forever and has a fantastic name. I can’t speak for anything else besides the lattes that I try on occasion—maybe the drip is fantastic; I have no idea. Yesterday, we decided to give it another try. I really want this to be my local spot, but I’m always left disappointed, and I don’t believe the 4.6 stars this place has is an accurate representation of its espresso. The milk was way above scalding temperature—you shouldn’t have to wait for a latte to cool. It should be drinkable immediately if it’s within the correct temperature guidelines. And that’s pretty much all it was: milk. I can almost never taste the espresso here. I thought about requesting a refund, but I truly want this business to succeed. I want to change this review in the future. I’ve thrown away less than a handful of bad coffees, and yesterday’s made that list. Please set some standards and guidelines for the baristas and get your temps and ratios right.
