Talea Albans Reviews
i dont know their names otherwise i would shout out but the two women and the man (i can describe them if it helps w/ management but that feels creepy) are great and super helpful. love the staff here and also appreciate the early hours
Love that it’s female owned and they have such delicious and unique flavors. Love the seasonal selections and that you can pick up a 6 pack on the way out to take home. Interior is massive, spacious and clean. Staff is always friendly and informative of the selection. They also allow small tastes to ensure you enjoy your choice.
Nice brewery in Williamsburg. I think we paid $65 for a few beers, plus tip. The had a good selection, including some stouts (my fave!) since it’s winter. They had one experimental stout that was with jalapeño. It was ok. A flight pour of it would be plenty and I like stouts and jalapeño. There was plenty of seating for the sunday afternoon crowd (it was a holiday weekend). I don’t live in this area, but would like to try the other location.
Great space, bright and sunny. Strong beer and N/A options. The giant pretzel is always a hit! Depending on timing, very kid-friendly as well!
We hosted a wedding welcome event at Talea and it was absolutely wonderful. I would definitely recommend. Bonnie was fantastic coordinating all the details leading up to the event, and Manny and the staff took amazing care of us on the day! We did an open bar for our guests and Talea was very well-staffed. No one waited more than 30 seconds to be served. Everyone was exceptionally friendly and nice. Food was excellent as well! Great experience all around, thanks Talea!
This bar is such a nice place. Was a true pleasure to finish my day of work with a delicious beer. Liked it so much that I ended up buying 2 "Talea Beer" branded glasses to remember the feeling. Hoping you will expand to Paris in the future!
If you’re looking for a wedding venue that’s both unique and unforgettable, TALEA Brewery is an absolute gem. The atmosphere is warm, modern, and full of character, making it the perfect place to celebrate love with friends and family. The brewery’s charm brings a fun yet elevated vibe that you just can’t find anywhere else. It truly is love on tap! :) We had the pleasure of working with the amazing TALEA team through our Photo Booth services, and they were an absolute dream to collaborate with. Attentive, supportive, and genuinely excited to make each event shine—their passion shows in every detail. Whether it’s the stunning space, the craft beer that guests rave about, or the thoughtful care of the staff, TALEA Brewery makes weddings feel both personal and extraordinary. Highly recommend this venue for couples who want something fresh, unique, and full of heart.
We are so happy that we chose Talea to host our welcome night for our wedding weekend. We were looking for a casual, but large enough spot for our 130ish guests and where we could cater our own food since we couldn't have Vietnamese food at our actual wedding. The events staff are super easy to work with, the price is reasonable, and the space is really beautiful with lots of natural greenery so you don't need to decorate yourself. The food and drinks that they serve are also great and I really appreciated that they had non-alcoholic options since I don't drink myself. They make a custom menu for your event and there are little details like putting a custom sign or having a projector so you can have a slideshow or video playing in the background as well. I really recommend this spot for hosting any type of event.
The beers are very good. While sour ale isn't my style it's solid. The IPAs which are my style are on point as are the kolschs & lagers. This microbrewery has come a long way since this taproom opened in the midst of the COVID19 pandemic. It's a great place to celebrate special occasions.
This place is excellent! Super good service paired with excellent beer that is flavoursome and well priced with most beers around the $11 mark. Most people were in working and having a coffee which made it nice and busy with a good atmosphere even earlier in the day. If you like a craft beer you must stop by.
*Update as of May 2024 -they added a no pets allowed sign so I don’t think dogs are allowed in side anymore but you can still have them outside on their patio! — Our favorite local brewery and it’s dog friendly too! Beautiful bright interior with lots of seating and great atmosphere. I love getting the flights.
So happy that I finally got to check this place out. The beer selection is amazing. The have some good snacks and platters on the menu. The space is big and airy and there is plenty of outdoor seating also. They have a section of coffee and merchandise. It also appears that they have various activities during the week. The service is good and the prices are decent. They also have Cocktails made with beer and non-alcoholic drinks plus they have soft drinks. The music is a nice variety from The Beatles to Al Greene and some Jazz. It's nice background music at the perfect volume. I'll have to go back and try some of their other beers and some of the platters.
Had an amazing time out at Talea last night! Generous pours, great prices, awesome food, and a fantastic selection of brews! The space was really cozy and chill vibes. The staff was well informed and gave solid recommendations. Will be coming back often! Can’t wait to check out the Cobble Hill location! Update 01/05/2023. Another stand out evening we had some menu items. The Bavarian pretzel and petite cheese plate and the sizes were so generous! This place was bustling on Thursday evening and i know why! If you haven’t stopped in yet, what are you doing?!
Came to visit this beer spot, a family member used this facility to throw a 1 year old birthday, we did get to sample the beers, of which they had many different craft flavors. There were some appetizers that was served, but I am not sure whether it was provided by the restaurant or it was catered, so I won't comment on the food. If you are beer lover or drinker, its worth a try to sample some of their craft beers.
Loved this brewery. Not only is it a women found establishment, but just the ambiance, the beer AND food was awesome. This place is super spacious and gives off all the cool vibes. I had the sour flight and all of them were good. I can’t remember my favorite but honestly you can’t go wrong with the sour flight. We got a Mediterranean platter of goods, and it was much more than a snack. Can definitely share between 3-4 others. Looking forward to going back!
