I've been here several times over the years (I thankfully live close enough to where I typically don't need to go here after I've been partying at the nearby Alligator Lounge. But, each and every time that I've gone there I've been met with great food and incredible service. 5 stars all day!!!

I went there this later afternoon (Xmas Eve) couldn’t believe they were open. The bagels were still coming out of the oven extremely fresh and still hot. Not many places where you can get a bacon egg and cheese and coffee for little over 11 bucks can’t beat it! I highly recommend this place top notch service and quality.

Just discovered this bagel place and it’s definitely the best in Williamsburg. We went on Xmas Eve where it was quite busy, but the owner (I think) and his young son were there working and slinging bagels with the best of them. Though our order took a bit long to come out (they were jammed and it’s a holiday), the bagels were as good as ever and we got an entire bag of cookies on the house for our wait. That’s the kind of hospitality that can’t be beaten. 100% recommend and I know we will become regulars here!! Thank you to the team for working on Xmas Eve and keeping us hungry impatient New Yorkers fed with bagels and cookies!! PS, the bagels here are So much better than Leon’s or Apollo’s that are more social media favored / trendy it’s not even comparable. This is coming from two New Yorkers. Bagelsmith is a true New York bagel institution the kind that doesn’t exist anymore!

Absolutely LOVE the sesame roll with cream cheese from here. The cream cheese is so nice and fluffy! I always look forward to grabbing one of these when I’m in the area!

Our go-to spot in the neighbourhood. Fast. Quality food. Amazing range of options. Gluten free if you need. You really can’t go wrong here!

The food was great but above that, very impressed with the service. They were extremely patient with a customer who was clearly struggling. Really felt like a neighborhood place where many knew and helped each other. Great experience to start the day during my visit.

I can't believe how amazing this bagel is. it's a chipotle cheddar cream cheese on a whole wheat everything, I was waiting for an Uber and got it in perfect time and also while I was standing in the store I started singing along to the song playing ("I Dont Wanna Miss A Thing") and then the bagel guy started singing too!! 🥹🥹🥹 Also there's like pimento or something in this cream cheese?? it's so good idk like there's something magical in it. It's also the everything is on both sides of the bagel, like there's less of it on the bottom but there's still a significant amount at the crease! i'm sorry about this picture because I'm like literally Almost done with it but I wanted you to see!!

The man taking orders was incredibly pleasant. My bagel was exactly what I wanted - I added cream cheese to my bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich for exactly the rich texture and flavor I was hoping for. Bagels are high quality and there’s a variety of beverages available. Prices are fair.

I went pretty early so there wasn’t too long of a wait. It’s New York and a bagel shop….there’s usually going to be a wait especially if yours going on a morning during the weekend. I think the reviews talking about having to wait for a long time just need to learn to order online instead. $6.75 for a bagel with scallion cream cheese is a little steep in my opinion. Bagels are always fresh and they don’t overdo it with the cream cheese. There’s plenty to have extra but they’re not putting 1/4 pound of spread on the sandwich thankfully. I’ve only had good experiences here.

Absolutely love this place - hands down one of the best gluten free bagels in Brooklyn! Deducting one star only because the gluten free bagel costs more but is significantly smaller than a regular bagel :/ (see picture) lots of vegan/vegetarian cream cheese options available as well! i would recommend the tofu scallion cream cheese

With a party craving a small bite to eat in the late, late night, Bagelsmith doesn't disappoint and lives up to the praise it garnered from others' recommendation. Alongside bagels which feature a sizable amount of variety relating to topping and bagel type, sandwiches, cafe specials, drinks, and snacks are all available as well. Around here at 1:30, business was steady and even reached busy by the time my party left. Here, both indoor and outdoor seating is available, although the former's space is limited.

Went in late last night to order. I saw it was a bit steep for a sandwich, I still bought it. Bagel was burnt at the bottom and the man at the counter was rude and dismissive. That is no way to act if someone is spending their money with your business no matter how they look.

Very good food but overpriced. I ordered a cranberry muffin and barely got any cranberries. I felt like I was in a scene in the movie Casino. I also paid almost $9 when the sign behind the register says $5.50 for coffee and a muffin. So that's annoying lol. The upside is that the sandwiches are great but again overpriced.

This place is generally fine and a good neighborhood spot to grab a bagel / sandwich but they really need to fix their toaster. It's getting ridiculous at this point as every time I ask for a toasted bagel the toaster simply chars the inside of the bagel - leaving the bagel somehow both burnt and untoasted / soggy. I have mentioned this to them but every single time I ask for a bagel toasted this is the same result. Be warned.

We got bagels with cream cheese which were alright. The garlic and herb cream cheese had too much raw garlic or scallions or something that made it a bit less enjoyable than a typical cream cheese of that flavor. Overall the bagel itself was decent though.

The last few times I’ve gone the bagels have been tasted like day-olds… also the prices don’t match the board and if you point that out they just kinda shrug at you and say something like “yeah the board is wrong” which…. Idk I hate it

Racist establishment. I walked in planning to order a bagel and stood there waiting to be acknowledged. The first worker ignored me completely. When the second worker finally looked at me and I asked for a cinnamon raisin bagel, she told me to walk over to the register. Immediately after, a white woman walked in and they took her order first, even though I was there before her. I left right away. It’s honestly a shame that Black people are still treated like this in this country, and on MLK Day of all days.

First time at Bagel Smith. The gentleman that assisted was very hospitable and provided a dozen plain bagels as I requested. There is a very strange and off putting flavor of an aftertaste (tasting stale) perhaps it’s the style of maybe being a sourdough or using a Poolish or it’s the water or flour. Sadly although the hospitality from the attendant was excellent the product isn’t good. Three days later the same terrible after taste still remains. $21 dollars wasted.

When I pay 20 dollars for a lox bagel I expect there to be mor than the tiniest sliver of lox. The photo shows. One single sliver of lox across the whole bagel. Totally overpriced.

I don’t know how they are handling their food but I just got a bacon and egg on a toasted sesame bagel and there are weird black substances all over the food. I guess they don’t clean their toasters or griddles because I kept tasting onion and random flavors as I was trying to eat this sandwich but then I tasted a sewer-ish flavor. I hate hate wasting food but this $7 sandwich was definitely going to make me sick if i kept forcing myself to eat it. Very disappointing and disgusting experience.
