I had an amazing experience to this bar today, and i want to thanks Ece. She is professional, attentive, and has a great energy behind the bar. She is truly very welcoming — not just making drinks, but creating an atmosphere. It I’ll definitely come back again!

The Pomeroy was absolutely incredible! Carmine and his staff did an exceptional job hosting our baby shower, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. Our guests raved about the food, and with a guest list of over 60 people, there was more than enough to go around. They did not skimp on the food or the drinks, and every dish was delicious. The entire team was extremely pleasant, attentive, and easy to work with from start to finish. We felt truly taken care of, and our event couldn’t have gone more smoothly. Highly recommend The Pomeroy for any special occasion!

Went for my first brunch in the area last weekend and no regrets. The servers were really sweet with my kids! definitely a kid-friendly spot with the coloring books 🙌 The music was actually good too. And please, don’t miss the açaí bowl and the chicken & waffles, both were really good

Had some time to kill before an appointment and popped in for a drink during happy hour. Loved my cocktail, the Astoria sunset. Friendly bartender and regulars. Didn’t eat but the food looked great. Will definitely return!

A Perfectly Cozy Date Night at The Pomeroy! We celebrated two weeks of being married with a date night at The Pomeroy during Astoria Restaurant Week, and it was fantastic! We chose to sit at the corner of the bar instead of a table (plenty were available), and it turned out to be a perfect cozy spot for people-watching and soaking in the vibe. I ordered the Restaurant Week special and kicked things off with the frickles – crispy, tangy, and paired with a sauce that was chef’s kiss. We also requested the chipotle dipping sauce, which added a spicy kick – highly recommend doing both! For the main, I had the braised beef with creamy mashed potatoes, carrots, and asparagus. Every bite was hearty and full of flavor. For dessert, they had run out of the apple pie, which worked out perfectly because I had secretly hoped to sub in the cheesecake – and it did not disappoint! Creamy, sweet, and indulgent. To sip: I had a pilsner, a glass of prosecco, and an espresso martini (because why not celebrate properly?) – all were excellent and balanced. My husband got the salmon, served with a bright vegetable medley and a vibrant green sauce. He loved it. He kept it classic with Tito’s martinis, straight up with a twist – smooth and strong, just the way he likes them. We shared the frickles, split my cheesecake, and he also had the crème brûlée, which was beautifully torched and perfectly creamy underneath. The service was fast, super friendly, and genuinely kind – plus, even the water came in chilled glasses, which is such a small touch but speaks volumes. The atmosphere was lively and fun, and while there were a few overly enthusiastic bar patrons (it was a Saturday night, after all), it didn’t take away from the warm and vibrant energy of the place. We left happy, full, and already planning to come back. Thanks, Pomeroy, for a night to remember ❤️

Fantastic all around. Small but nice restaurant/bar. I got the gnocchi and was impressed. All the meals were really delicious. Fish tacos were plain per a 9 year old, don't blame the restaurant for the appearance Service was attentive and friendly. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner as well. Very kind people.

Shout out to the lunch special for being an amazing deal - Philly cheesesteak is a giant portion and it includes fries. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. Love brunch, lunch, and dinner here.

Really love it here. Probably my favorite New American restaurant in Astoria. Came here on a chilly night and it was decorated so cute for the holidays. Unfortunately they were out of a few of the specials but everything we got was delicious. You HAVE to get the fried pickles cause they’re good but the dill sauce that comes with them is even better. And the Mac and cheese is so freaking good. I got a delicious glass of chilled red, and some other sparkling cocktail and the bartender graciously made my boyfriend a new Negroni cause there was something weird floating in his glass. Love this spot.

Incredible! Every part of our visit was a delight. The service was friendly and upbeat, appetizers were delicious, and the burger was among the best I've ever had. Very expensive, but well worth it. Highly recommended.

Pomeroy continues to have the best “bar” food in Astoria. They impress me every time. We came for prime rib night and it did not disappoint. Meat was medium rare as recommended with a great crisp on the fat. You can tell that the chef uses high quality ingredients. The bartender always makes a great drink and the beer selection includes local Single Cut. Whenever we’re looking for a delicious casual meal, this is where we go. They also have the BEST pork chop around!

Made a reservation for 5:30 PM on a Saturday however I showed up a half hour early and the place was somewhat empty so unsure if reservation was truly necessary. After we settled down and ordered our startup cocktail, we proceeded to the dinner menu and to be quite honest, everything came out appealing and very appetizing. I have nothing negative to comment. Overall, a nice local establishment with great hospitality and I will no doubt I’ll be back soon and try the rest of the menu.

The place was empty when we arrived, so I’m not sure if reservations are necessary. It was nicely decorated for the holidays, which gave it a warm, festive feel. Service was good, and the burger was solid fries were good too. Overall, a pleasant experience and I’d go back.

First brunch in Astoria and we decided on The Pomeroy, my friends and I were drawn to the Chicken and Waffle pictures and was the main factor why LOL. Anyway, pretty cool place. Surprisingly not packed on a Saturday at 1PM but we took that as more space for us then. :) Maria was our waitress and she took good care of us. Funnily enough we all went for the Steak & Eggs for the protein kick but since Chicken and Waffles were the reason why we were there, we decided to order it for the table so we can share. Steak & Eggs were good, came with potatoes & greens. Chicken & Waffles were yum and we couldn't finish it (no surprise) and didn't really need to take it home since we were all heading somewhere after. My friends went for the 90 mins. Bottomless drinks for $20 where they could interchange mimosas, bloody marys etc. I went for the Astoria Sunrise mocktail which was pretty good actually for $10 each. Prices are pretty fair and can appreciate that. Great value for brunch!

Usually I have breakfast(omelette and home fries) and coffee… But I cant deny that the sandwiches I’ve had… were REALLY Flavorful and the fries are always perfectly crunchy! The Pomeroy in Astoria is a delightful establishment that combines the charm of an old pub with a touch of modern. The Pomeroy sets the stage for a memorable evening. One aspect that sets The Pomeroy apart is its friendly and attentive staff. Their knowledge of the menu and willingness to accommodate special requests made the dining experience all the more enjoyable. Speaking of the menu, The Pomeroy offers a great selection of food that caters to various preferences. During my visit, I had the pleasure of savoring the grilled pork chop with vegetables. The pork chop was cooked to perfection, juicy and tender, with a delicious char on the outside. The accompanying vegetables were fresh and flavorful, providing a delightful balance to the dish. Additionally, the hamburgers at The Pomeroy are also worth mentioning. They are juicy, flavorful, and satisfying, making them a great choice for burger enthusiasts. The attention to detail in the preparation of the dishes is evident, and the quality of the ingredients shines through in every bite. It’s clear that The Pomeroy takes pride in their culinary offerings, and their commitment to providing a memorable dining experience is commendable. Based on my experience, I wholeheartedly recommend The Pomeroy in Astoria. Whether you’re looking for a casual night out or a special occasion, this restaurant has something for everyone. I personally look forward to returning to The Pomeroy and indulging in their delightful menu once again.

Came here for a friend's surprise birthday dinner. Since it was a large group of 15, a prix fixe menu was mandatory. The menu selection was limited to a burger, kale salad, and chicken entree. I ordered the burger, which was pretty small. Luckily the girlfriend can't eat, so I had her leftovers. Try the 4 cheese mac and cheese. I combined it with the meatballs, and it made a nice hybrid appetizer. Decor wise.. the place was very nice!

The bartenders were totally inattentive, preferring to chat with each other rather than serve the only two people at the bar. It took 8 minutes just to get a refill on 'bottomless' drinks. The $24 Eggs Benedict was a letdown too—watery sauce, chewy muffins, and tiny portions. Save your money and go elsewhere

Unfortunately, I have to lower my rating to 2 stars. Six months ago I did enjoy my meal here, but things went downhill on my second visit. The same salad we ordered on our first visit wasn’t that great and the dressing tasted off. I also ordered the same Mac and cheese which I had on my previous visit and this time it was terrible! It was overloaded with big, chunky breadcrumbs and the cheese used wasn’t tasty. My husband didn’t enjoy his Fried chicken and thought it tasted off. My sister thought her Chicken sandwich was good. I can’t recommend after my last meal here.

I like this spot! But don’t come for brunch, the two young women working on Saturdays will ignore you :( we wanted bottomless brunch! Maybe I’ll come back on a weekday instead, the other guy w glasses is great! Ugh and the food and drinks are good here too, just not the Saturday brunch service!
