Cafe Lark Pizza Albany Reviews
Best experience ever! the staff was really kind I definitely recommend if you are stopping by Albany
Amazing place with amazing food!! Had meat lover pizza and wings with family the other day. The food was fresh and tasted delicious. One of the best places in Albany. Loved Mahamud’s service- very friendly and helpful!! Definitely will come back with family again!!
Great food. They always make fresh and tasty food. One of the best pizza places in Albany. Mahmud was super friendly to us.
Amazing Pizza at Cafe Lark. Super friendly staff members. They make the best meat lovers pizza. Definitely coming back again and again.
Love that Fettuccine Alfredo with Grilled Chicken. Price is so reasonable and taste was yummy!!! Best in the city. Definitely will be back again .
Really reasonable prices for nice quality and portions. They have a versatile menu selection with something for everyone. I love that I can get samosas a la carte with Italian food. I work a late shift so having this as an option works great for me. I love leftovers and I have dash pass on door dash so the price was unbeatable for several items. The food arrived with the hot dishes hot and the cold sub cold. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and encourage anyone to give them a try! I haven't been inside so I'm not sure about the physical dining atmosphere, but it definitely beats out some of the other similar places nearby for takeout that is ready fast. Thank you Cafe Lark! I hope to try more dishes soon. I definitely recommend the samosas and the fettuccine Alfredo. Thy both taste home made, and just like my mom (a well seasoned culinarian) used to make growing up!
Feast Your Eyes, Albany! Cafe Lark, nestled on Madison Avenue in Albany, New York, isn't just a restaurant—it's a testament to the city's vibrant culinary scene. This place is a bona fide treasure, serving up everything from phenomenal pizza to incredibly flavorful gyros, and even venturing into the delightful world of samosas. It's truly a shining star among Albany's many eateries. The Budget-Friendly Feast As any Albany resident knows, finding an affordable, satisfying meal is a priority. My recent visit proved it's possible to dine like royalty without breaking the bank. I started with a generous slice of their Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza, complemented by a slice of White Chicken Cheddar Broccoli. Both were a steal at just $4 each, a remarkable price given the abundant toppings. I also added three sizable samosas for only $5; they were bursting with flavor and clearly fried fresh. My total came out to a very reasonable $14, and they even threw in a free can of Coke! Service and Atmosphere: Top-Tier The service at Cafe Lark was truly immaculate. The gentleman who took my order was engaging, kind, and incredibly helpful, even offering genuine tips about other local restaurants. The food was prepared and served with impressive speed. Stepping into Cafe Lark felt like being transported to a cozy café in Italy. The atmosphere was spot on, offering tables where diners could truly relax and savor their meal without the typical rush. The Pizza: A New Yorker's Dream As a true New Yorker, I know my pizza, and Cafe Lark's undercarriage was phenomenal. There was absolutely no flop, a clear sign of a well-made slice. It held a beautiful fold, and the crust? To die for! Crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, it was everything a pizza lover could ask for. My Verdict Food: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Atmosphere: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cafe Lark is an absolute gem, and I wholeheartedly recommend stopping in. This fantastic little joint undoubtedly earns a whopping 5 stars from me!
Ordered the 38.99 deal. The wings were OUT OF THIS WORLD and the pizza was fantastic!!! Luckily I'm right next door and found my new wing spot. -mild sauce is to DIE for
Cafe Lark Pizza truly impressed me with their outstanding pizzas! The crust was a perfect balance of crispy and chewy, and the toppings were exceptionally fresh. The diverse menu ensured there's something for everyone, and the friendly staff added to the overall enjoyable dining experience. I highly recommend trying their pizzas for a delightful treat!
I ordered a breakfast sandwich & homemade potatoes the potatoes came BURNT. I gave them the benefit of the doubt by taking a bite to see if they were still edible and they were not. The fact that someone knowingly packed this and sent it out says a lot about the morale of this place. I also ordered a breakfast sandwich that was ok. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to eat from here not only based on my experience but the others…. I wish I would have saw these reviews before ordering on doordash.
What Cafe Lark had in fast and friendly service, was sadly lost - quite badly - in the quality of their pizza. The dough was to doughy. It very nearly snapped with each bite, instead of giving me that all to familiar crunch, no matter how subtle. The plain slice was, well, plain. And the only reason the pepperoni slice had ANY flavor, was - you got it - because of the pepperoni. During the first day of Restaurant Week on Lark St., I would have like something a bit more impressive.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Place is not cleanly, staff is rude, and the wait for the food is astronomically long.
You are using EGGY'S name and HARD WON REPUTATION on your doordash; that hard-working man does not deserve this. TAKE HIS NAME OFF YOUR DOORDASH. I am telling literally everyone I know, and I will never ever patronize your establishment ever again. Oh and yes this includes A whole bunch of people on the Albany sub Redden, who already know this is happening. you just lost yourselves business
Really disappointed that cafe lark is impersonating Eggys place on DoorDash with a ghost kitchen of the same name. I’ve eaten at cafe lark a lot over the past decade but that will end.
I ordered the buy one get one free of jumbo shrimp and fries needless to say the fries were hard and nasty but on the plus side the order of chicken with the fries were tasty I contacted Uber Eats and they were of no help so with that being said check your food before bringing it in the house and I will never ordered from Cafe Lark or use Uber Eats in which I deleted the app.
I don’t normally write reviews but this food made me so sick I felt that I should share to help someone else getting sick or wasting their hard working money on this place. The wings were undercooked and if you’re expecting mild or buffalo wings.. think twice. It was a bottle of malt/ apple cider vinegar dumped into the wings mixed with a hint of something in an attempt to be call mild/ buffalo wings. This shop is a scam and cheats out of everything including the customer service. It’s over priced which makes it all not worth it. Save your money go to Stewart’s and buy a pizza and chicken tenders that have been sitting out all day — it would be way better then buy here. I promise you that you don’t want to buy nor eat here.
