I come over to the concourse from the State Education Dept. a couple of times a week to have lunch here. I can only rate the food according to the soups and hot bar. I've never had the sandwiches--the line is always so long waiting for them I've never considered it worthwhile. Based on what I have eaten there, I give them a 5. I have never been disappointed with what I had. The lasagna soup is an unusual item they have periodically, and I did also like the Maryland Crab Chowder the one time I had that. If the lines for the sandwiches are a true indicator of their quality, they would rate a 5 also, but I can't speak for them.

Geez, I'm pretty surprised by the negative reviews of this place. I was going to start with "I cannot overemphasize how lucky employees at the State Plaza are to have this place." But reading through the other reviews, I've never had any of poor experience here even remotely similar to those. Comparatively speaking, Logan's is the best value in the plaza. For less than $10 ($9.71 for a menu item or build your own) you get a fresh and generous sandwich with homemade chips that are nearly always crunchy and well-salted. I've paid the same for a weak-sauce wrap at Mazzone's with nothing else or a decent but small sandwich at Au bon Pain. It should be noted that I typically order off the menu or a relatively simple sandwich, rarely subbing things out or adding up-charge items. I occasionally get egg sandwiches from their hot case, but never grab the hot or pre-packaged lunches. So your mileage may vary. The muffins here are big and less then $3. I've paid more then that for a single cookie from Mazzones, or the same for a smaller muffin at ABP. Value, yo. I've been around since they've opened, and wasn't too partial to the hype of that time. But they've engendered my loyalty through consistently good food and service. People are complaining recently that McDonalds is going out of the plaza, I'm like "who cares? We have Logan's"

Sausage, egg, and cheese are fantastic! The staff is great, and there is a wide variety of products available.

Very frustrated by ordering at the register. I asked for a Ham and Swiss on a wrap with LTO and thousand island. I was asked oddly if I wanted egg? I was confused as in my mind it was a deli wrap, and said NO. No questions asked, no receipt. Wrap came up grilled with egg as a breakfast wrap. If there was any confusion by the order taker, why would you think someone wanted thousand island and LTO for breakfast. No mention of its “breakfast” when there were plenty of subs and sandwiches out in the coolers. Even works, it had egg on it.

The reason for a 3 start is because its an hit or miss here depending on who make your food. Yesterday my boss ordered an Joey Gs chicken salad on a wheat wrap and it was so nice and big!! She had lots of meat and a decent amount of chips - 🤤 so i asked her what was that she ordered so can order one the following day. I placed the same order online and when i went to Pick it up it barely had meat and a little bit of chips - it was really good and the people who worked there are really nice. I will give it another try since i like it -maybe its better to order your food in person then online.

Not the *worst* sandwich I've ever had. Pastrami was way too wet and bread was way too soft, turning it into a soaked mush in the short walk from the deli to my office. I might be willing to give them another shot, but I definitely wouldn't order the hot pastrami again. Ambience is nice and I appreciate that they carry locally sourced grocery items.

The food is ok, the salads that are sitting out for on the go purchase if they could consider wrapping up the tortilla chips instead of just placing them alongside the salad, they were very soggy. Also, I know everyone wants to not be at work these days but the place is only open until 2pm now and I walked in at 1:30 and the food was being moved and put away for closing. The atmosphere feels like hurry up, pay, and get out. Not cool at all. Sadly this is the workforce in 2024.

I always have a mixed experience at this establishment. One day I’ll get great service and food, then the next it’ll be poorly prepared and rushed. Honestly just need more consistency. I shouldn’t have to request a specific person to make my food. I’ve also had hair in my food once and this isn’t the first time my bagel looked like this. I also had bought a wrap once and it leaked all over my desk and I had to throw it out it was so soggy.

Forever the optimist, I get a craving for their Reuben and hope that they are back on track. More often than not, I'm disappointed. Sandwich construction is awful. Do they even care?

The whiteboard advertisement of specials is enticing. The soups are delicious, though VERY overpriced. The salads and other options, not so good and pricey. Cashiers need training on customer service, very aloof and last two times I was there, each time cashiers were wiping hands across foreheads, or rubbing fingers in hair…. then when asking for a plastic fork, one digs in with bare hands into a paper cup to hand me one…. no thanks!!!

The service has went completely downhill. I was going in daily for my breakfast, but each visit service and food quality have gotten worse. There have been times when I'm standing at the register waiting to get my order taken for 5 or so minutes. More often than not her mask is falling off her face. Yesterday my bagel got burnt because one of their staff members was too busy socializing with a maskless customer. I waited nearly 20 minutes for a toasted bagel. Between the lack of face masks by staff and customers alike and the major decline of service, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

The consensus among the reviews for Logan's being overpriced especially for what you get is only being amplified by the fact they continue to decrease portions. As someone else mentioned, why would you outright eliminate bowls for soup? The portions a cup provides is laughable, as are the salads that continue to shrink.

It’s so inconsistent with this place that I can’t try anymore. I found a HAIR IN MY FOOD just now & wanted to give the benefit of the doubt thinking it wasn’t already in there… but when I pulled on it, it was so wedged into the sandwich it barely gave. The staff need to have better hygienic protocols, my coworker also had a hair in their salad once. Also, just be nicer to people when they’re ordering the food… the staff seem like they don’t want to be there. Won’t be ordering again

My go to lunch spot in concourse. A little on the expensive side. And ordering online is a 30 min wait. The strawberry fields is the best! Edit 3/2/2026: Over the past year, this deli has gone downhill tremendously. The sandwiches are noticeably smaller (about half as tall as they used to be), while prices have continued to rise. Orders are hit or miss — items like bacon or dressing are often forgotten. The original staff seems to have completely turned over as well. They also no longer offer the homemade chips, and now chips cost $3 per sandwich. Unfortunately, this is no longer my go-to spot. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re in a pinch.

2nd time coming here and I feel like I waste my money each time. And you can't get a half salad at the counter, you have to buy a full size. 3 people could easily eat off of that full size salad I got today, if the lettuce is edible. Today's choice was a Grilled Chicken Cobb salad. I put in my order at the counter and I ask for the Chicken Cobb Salad, and to please remove tomato and feta. And I asked for Cucumbers and black olives to be added. Paid $13 when their grab and goes are only $9.95. First ❌️ Then I get handed a Salad with just lettuce, black olives and Cucumbers. 2nd ❌️ I said back to the counter guy, I ordered a grilled chicken Cobb salad. With everything on the salad but tomato and feta cheese and to add Cucumbers and black olives. But nope didn't get that. They give me the Salad back and they definitely put atleast a full package of bacon on it. By the way: do they not know how to properly wash lettuce? Definitely still had dirt on the lettuce and when you took a bite of the lettuce there was a sandy texture to it. 3rd ❌️ Since this was a complete waste of money, I refuse to spend any more money here. They are lucky they got 1 ⭐️

Only half my sandwich has chicken on it. $11 for that. Supposed to be a panini and it’s not even hot. Watched it go in the panini maker for all of 20 seconds.

They keep it so hot in here that is genuinely uncomfortable to be in there for more than a minute. Ordered an omelet with peppers and onions, got scrambled eggs with sliced cheese melted on top, no peppers and onions. Guy at the counter said my order was too complicated. Took forever!!!

I liked the thai wings and pasta salad I have no idea who keeps attempting the glue mac and cheese yuck but today I ordered a sandwich the guy takes off his hat rubs his fingers through his hair then goes back to the food another staff offered to make another one as she keeps touching everything back and forth I will never eat here again never I even left without getting my $10 back I will never ever eat there again

Stopped coming here a while ago for anything but soup because while they are very capable of upcharging for protein on a salad for example, they are often incapable of actually including it or any dressing that I paid for. At least the soup I could serve myself, but now they inexplicably eliminated bowls from the menu. Sorry, a 12oz cup of soup does not make a lunch and now there is zero reason to go here except to be cheated out of money.
