Ria's Bistro & Bakery Albany Reviews
Cosy cafe, real food, sandwich and soup specials.
This is a special place, burrowed below ground within view of the Capital Building. This family-owned establishment's baked goods and breakfasts are quick and fantastic, offering food for inside their cozy bistro, outdoor seating along the street, and outside within walking distance to just about anywhere you need to be. Service is fast. I'll intend to return here until I've tried at least one of everything.
Got a "The Palace" wrap. Absolutely delicious, well seasoned, hot, and fresh. They have gluten free wraps and bread too. Highly recommended!
Delicious food and sandwiches. The service was excellent and very kind.

The chicken taco hot special was absolutely out of this world! So sad I didnt get a picture. This is my petition for them to become a permanent menu item. This spot is cozy and the everyday menu and rotating soups are very good too. Would 100% recommend finishing the meal with a cookie.
Nice spot for lunch, friendly staff, and good food. The area doesn't have much foot traffic, but they're open on weekends and worth stopping in.
According to my son, it was the best BLT he ate in his life! For myself, they suggested to custom-built me a salmon sandwich (that was not on the menu) that was marvellous! We highly recommend this place!
Stopped in for a quick bite. Nice little bistro, variety of food options and super friendly service. Fernando was great!
The sandwiches are amazing!! fresh meat, no processed cold cuts. Fresh Mozzarella and her homemade cookies.. let's just say you can't eat just one. The staff is busy but very friendly. The place is cute and welcoming. It's mostly take out but have tables for eating in also.
Great spot, incredible food, well priced & kept coming back for the kind owners. I’ll be back!
Came here for the first time and ordered the grilled chicken special. Everything was fresh, flavors were good and the quality of the food was high. One of the best sandwiches I've had in this town. Will be back again
Called Ria’s on Short Notice for Catered Sandwich platters for 20 people, they were even ready early! Sandwiches were fantastic and well enjoyed by the group. The cookies were still warm as they baked them to order. Thank you so much Ria’s for a great experience for a catered, ready for pickup lunch!! Staff is very friendly and polite! 5/5
Love, love, love the sandwiches here. Specialty sandwiches may be a bit pricey but so worth it! The soups are homemade and change often with unique flavors like roasted red pepper and goat cheese...yum! Splurge and grab a homemade pastry while your at it.Very small breakfast/lunch place so take out is best. Expect lines but they move pretty quickly.
The Hill sandwich was hot and flavorful, with real grilled chicken breast, roasted red peppers, melty mozz, and drippy pesto aoli on a warm baguette. Did you say the Lark? All that warmed sliced roast beef and banana peppers dripping with garlic mayo and melty cheese? Heck yes. Flavors are good. Got the tortilla soup this time and I was not disappointed. The flavors were all right there. No tortillas for topping though! Came with oyster crackers. Tortilla chips would have knocked it outta the park! Anyway, a solid option in downtown Albany. Love this place.
Food is always amazing! Staff super friendly and accommodating. Thanks for a great lunch! The assembly is my favorite.

A popular lunch spot in the downtown Albany area. They don't have a real website, you have to go through Facebook. They had a full patio when I went on a Friday afternoon. Friendly service and the line wasn't too bad, it doesn't hurt to call ahead. I got the Rias Hot Sandwich, the chicken was delicious, great marinade! I'm eager to go back and try more of their menu items.
I got the in-house Roast Beef and it was great! They pack a ton in. There was more seating than I expected and a lot of it is very comfy!

I was really looking forward to a different sandwich 🥪 shop while in the area but they were closed. We found this based off Google maps. It was good, with quality ingredients and very fairly priced. It wasn't my absolute favorite but it was very good and clean. I'd eat here again on a weekend

I hate to do this bc the good is good, but this is the third time I've been given the wrong food. The person handing it to me got my name right, but when I got back to the office it's not what I ordered. I assume stuff is getting put in the wrong bags. Could you try double checking more? Like instead of just asking the name before you hand it off, you ask the name and say whats in the bag?
