What Customers Say About The Spinning Gyro
Customer service is frequently praised, with specific employees like Teresa earning accolades. However, experiences are inconsistent; some report slow service, dirty conditions, and incorrect orders. The quality of food, especially the Jumbo Platter and sourdough Jack, is also inconsistent.

The Spinning Gyro Albany Reviews
I love eating at Jack In The Box, the food is very good and the Employees were extremely nice.
SO MUCH BETTER than either of the McDonald’s locations in Auburn. I don’t care what the bad reviews here have to say about a one off experience. I go here a lot because I live here. It’s not easy to maintain a certain level of quality in fast food and that is what they do. You have a solid chance of getting really good, fresh food - especially in the morning after the 2am buffer. The important thing and my biggest fast-food-pet-peeve is that you can guarantee is that they’re going to take your order swiftly and correctly. That takes hard work. Thank you.
Went to this drive thru late at night while on our way to Tahoe and nicest person ever took and prepared our order. This friendly guy made our long road trip much more pleasant. I hope he is promoted to manager if he is not already the manager. He certainly has some of the best customer service skills out of any restaurant employee I have ever encountered.
We drove through coming from Utah and were slightly disappointed they no longer had the potato wedges, but the customer service totally made up for it. Teresa was super helpful even though with all the drive-thru customers it was clearly stressful. And I’m not sure of the other guy’s name that helped me, but my chicken patty was a little meh and they were super apologetic and were quick to rectify the issue. They both deserve a raise!
Hadn't been to a Jacks in years. Last minute stop and I got a teriyaki bowl for the first time. Very pleased!! 🙂
Typical, but wasn't busy during the lunch hours the two times o went there. Also, probably a one off, it took a little longer to get my food but they hooked my burger up with two of everything.
Stopped by Jack in the Box and had the Jumbo Platter and the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. The sandwich was pretty good—crispy with a nice kick. But the Jumbo Platter tasted a bit off, like something wasn’t quite right with the eggs or sausage. Not sure if it was just a bad batch or what, but it threw the whole meal off. Service was fine, but the food quality was hit or miss this time.
I mean, I know it's the crack but dayuum. Y'all gotta speed it up. Slow as hell most times but everybody that works there is super cool people.
This is a typical good Jack in the box but has gotten a little bit old. Employees were very nice.
It was dirty and jumbo jack was so bad I couldn't even eat it
Just put the damn taco sauce in the order with a bunch of tacos. It’s like the bare minimum effort. That you failed to do. Oh, and then when I called you about it to let you know you just hung up on me. Do better. Simple as that.
Disgusting food! Toke so long and messed up my order and locked the door from me. I found hair in my food no effort and just looks and tastes gross. My tacos were cold and no taco sauce. Never going to Jack-in-the-box ever again from this bad experience.
I ordered a croissant bread. Add egg and cheese. They were trying to charge me supreme croissant rates when I don't eat meat. They had me pull to the front, and they will bring my food out to me, well, they brought my food, but they did. Don't bring my croissant sandwich. So when I went inside the store, you had a lady leaning at the counter in the back on her phone, and there was a line of customers. It looked like she was waiting to clock in, but it was just so unprofessional it looked like she didn't care that it was a line of people when she's not even on a clock, why is she not in the back? She was right in eyesight next to the register on her phone. I'm just so unprofessional.
I was on my way home from work at 11pm and stopped here for some food at 11:13pm and ordered through the app and ordered a grilled cheese and paid extra for 2 extra cheeses and tomato but what I got had almost no cheese, a tomato slice that looks more like a zit, and works of all it was ice cold and not even grilled or cooked
First off the speaker was broken. That wasn’t really an issue though seeing as that’s out of their control and I don’t blame them. However, I ordered what I wanted and was trying to decide on a drink which they did not have the first three drinks I settled on. Normally this would not bother me but I have been to this location on numerous occasions and they hardly ever have those drinks regardless of time of day. That however is not my main complaint. My biggest complaint is that on 4 separate occasions I have ordered the jumbo platter mainly for the French toast sticks that have replaced the previous pancakes and have not gotten said French toast sticks. Everything else, yes, but no French toast to be seen. I even got syrup but no toast. If they had just said they were out I would have purchased something else instead of being charged full price for a meal that I only got a portion of. I am not one to leave bad reviews but after multiple bad experiences at this location I encourage others to eat elsewhere or even at a more professional and orderly Jack n the box that gives you what you pay for.
Ordered around 2:35 on 7/21/24. Two burgers; that's all. They got one burger wrong, and instead of telling us or explaining the situation, they just scrambled to fix it as fast as possible (not fast at all) while ignoring us at the drive thru for over 10 minutes. I wanted a refund. They took my card immediately when we pulled up to the window, and I assume just ignored us because they knew we were looking to just take a refund and go. When we got the food, it was clear the one correct burger had just been sitting out somewhere while they remade the other, so it wasn't exactly the most appealing. The one they remade was just sad. If you use drive thru here, do not pay until they're ready to hand you your food, unless you've got plenty of time to sit there. This has not been the first, second, or even third time the wait times at the window have been long at this location. I'm done giving chances, especially with the food quality going down and down.
