One of my favoriteee places to eat! Do yourself a favor and get the beer battered turkey Reuben you will not be disappointed. Top that off with a cucumber martini and you’re one happy camper. Great food, great atmosphere, and great people... what more could you ask for?

Awesome place, food is amazing and you definitely get your moneys worth. Our server was great, he was very attentive without being overbearing. Will definitely be coming back!

Outstanding as usual. Other than an issue getting thru by phone to order, the rest was clutch. Burgers were ideal and so hearty even I was full before finished. Wife only got about halfway. Mac and cheese flight was delectable and kids went nuts for the cheesy gravy poutine. Only food knock was that sweet potato fries were a little light in number and a bit soggy, but the soggy could have been due to takeout. We will obviously be back.... many times!!

I had an amazing time and the food was great! The wraps are to die for! :0 The highlight of my visit was one of the workers Jacob. He was working so hard to make our table happy and he was also very cute please tell him to hit me up if he ever sees this ;)

Excellent as always! Friendly and quick service. Good beer and cocktails (we sat at the bar) and awesome food. Always satisfied when we come... update: latest visit was disappointing regarding service...never came around, took drink orders but never brought them back until pestered, food(though good) was all made incorrectly...Hopefully just a bad night for them...looking forward to the Delmar opening..

Went to meet a friend for mimosas and brunch. This was my first time at the Tipsy Moose and it was pretty nice ...it was not crowded this particular Sunday morning. Our waiter was pleasant, patient and accommodating. We were able to sit, talk and eat taking out time so as not to be rushed out. I was pleasantly pleased and surprised they had nice thick flavorful bacon 🥓 and my waffle was pretty good as well. My only small disappointment was I asked for very soft scrambled eggs.....which seems to be a problem for many restaurants to get right!!! . I would visit them again!! Hopefully soon!!!

This is a lively place midway between Albany Medical Center and St Peter’s hospital. They were bustling on Friday night but still managed to find a place for our party of seven. They have poutine on the menu, which is a real plus for me. A couple of our party had the mac & cheese, which was a gigantic portion in a cast-iron skillet. Beer selection was excellent, but they also have some cider wine and do some fancy looking mixed drinks. I can certainly see myself returning here after work to wind down.

A Wednesday must! They have trivia while you eat and it’s so fun. The food and service is great. Food came out really hot every time. Ordered spin dip and quesadillas. Both were great. Good beer selection. It is a bit small so it can fill up quick. Parking can be a pain too. Highly recommend if you have a couple and want to have a fun night on a Wednesday.

Cute place, fills up fast. Our waitress was prompt, attentive and fun! If you try what a buddy of mine calls "the elixir" ( the maple infused whiskey), you'll be hard pressed not to bring a $35 bottle home. I had the Tiger chicken sandwich - last week's chefs creation. Tasty. You can't go wrong here. Enjoy.

A bit loud but not surprising for a bar like atmosphere. Food was delicious along with the mixed drink. Had the maple bacon sweet potato fries and the Adirondack dip with a campfire smores mixed cocktail.

The beer battered grilled cheese was sooooo good! My boyfriend (a hot sauce fanatic) got the XXX wings and said they weren't obscenely hot but had great flavor! We left there very satisfied and satiated 🤤

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tipsy Moose, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we walked in, Patt , Chris and Dionne made sure we were well taken care of. Their attention to detail and friendly demeanor truly stood out and made the night special. The food was incredible—everything was packed with flavor and served perfectly. Whether you’re there for the unique craft beer selection, the creative menu options, or the cozy atmosphere, this place delivers on all fronts. Huge thanks to Patt , Chris and Dionne for making our visit memorable. I’ll definitely be coming back soon and recommending Tipsy Moose to all my friends and family !

Great local spot. You can tell by the busy parking lot that this place is very popular. I was in town for two days and ate there both nights. Bar service was outstanding. Both Shawn and Matt were very attentive to every patron and I could tell really cared about their job. Something that's really missing in today's service industry. I had their bone-in wings (Everything and Garlic Parm). Some of the best I've ever had no joke. They're baked, then flash fried. Perfect bite. I'm convinced this will be my place to go every time I'm in Albany. Keep up the great work guys!

After a long day I really needed to eat and unwind. The brisket sandwich was really good and the wake me up (baileys and whiskey drink) was tasty. I came here a Thursday evening and it wasn’t too busy. Would definitely come back to the chill setting and great service.

Finding the BEST mozzarella sticks in the capital region… Today I’m at Tipsy Moose Tavern.. in Albany ***They don’t have actual mozzarella sticks. But they do have their own take on mozzarella sticks. Beer battered cheese curds with Melba sauce… Also ordered a dozen everything wings mixed with mild sauce. Of course all flats.. Back to the mozzarella sticks/curds.. Y’all these were so good. Seasoned perfectly, the texture was light but still crispy, nice cheese pull. These were the perfect size. I love the breeding to cheese ratio. Melba sauce was nice. Honestly haven’t ran into a bad Melba sauce yet. The wings tho? So good. Nice and crispy just how I asked. Extreamly flavorful. **** I always try one mozzarella stick at the restaurant. So I can get the “real feel“. And I take the rest to go Score for the mozzarella sticks Taste: 10 Texture: 10 Cheese pull: 9 29/30

I absolutely love this place. I'm sure the atmosphere is great for other people I'm just old and I like it quieter lol. But we just all sit closer together so we can hear each other. You can't go wrong with Tipsy Moose for amazing and hearty comfort food but unlike other heavy foods, I rarely get sent to my stomach from it because it's high-quality ingredients. Their poutine is amazing. The maple bacon fries and nachos you can't go wrong, and of the jalapeno popper Burger is an amazing combination of spicy and sweet.

Great place for brunch and lunch with family, Very happy staff! Parking was easy right on new Scotland. It’s got the woodland vibe but still a family steakhouse feel to it. There is a giant menu here, it took me a bit to figure out what I wanted. It’s American food and tasted great, we went at brunch time. I got the eggs Benedict and French onion soup because that’s my jam. Edds were was amazing, soup was ok. Mom got the gravy fried and wife got this loaded Turkey club. Everyone loved their food!

Went to the wrong location to surprise my daughter! I am hooked on this restaraunt so it was okay, they came and met us. Busy, game night! [Trivia] Small space but the staff was amazing and they all helped everyone anytime. Incredible restaurants, one more location to try and I know we won't be disappointed. The Mac and cheese !!!!!! I just come here now, the ingredients are delicious. I don't even try to cook it, this is too good to compare. Good food, fantastic atmosphere, busy place for a reason! Take home their maple bourbon/whiskey, another reason we go here .

For starters it was a very busy night and I was by myself. The waitress was very welcoming, my food came out in a decent time considering how packed it was , and my meal was amazing. I have zero complaints! I got the Tipsy Chicken Sandwich with Cajun Fries and they were cooked to perfection. Thanks for the great experience, I will definitely be back. 💓

the location is easy to get to and right up the street from the VA and Albany Med. Our server was patient Back B (we had not seen each other in a long time) and the food was comfort food at the next level. My brisket was delicious but cold and my dates enjoyed their meals. It was steadily busy with business people, families and friends.

While sitting outside on our first visit, our waitress was excellent A+, We enjoyed our beer selection (i.e., IPA & Porter), the tomato soup was first rate and lunch (hamburger and brisket) was fault free. Didn't like numerous patrons smoking within the tables.

We visited here Wed 8/31/22 6pm. Very busy place. We found two seats at the bar. Sidewalk seating is available. Note: parking can be a challenge, but can be found on side streets. Service was immediate and friendly. Ordered a couple of drinks, wine ($9) & a house Margarita on the rocks ($10). Familiar w/ the menu due to multiple visits to the Latham location. Ordered a Tipsy Moose BLT ($13) & a Tipsy chicken sandwich ($16). Both were hot & tasty. Excellent & generous bacon as always. Solid offerings w/ chix wings in 10 flavors, brisket, pulled pork, & build your own mac & cheese-which is a very large portion. Hours: Tuesday 11:30AM–12AM Wednesday 11:30AM–12AM Thursday 11:30AM–12AM Friday 11:30AM–12AM Saturday 10AM–12AM Sunday 10AM–12AM Monday 11:30AM–12AM A good experience for our initial visit to this location which we tried based on visits to the TM in Latham, NY. Well done. Thank you. Nick & Liz, Albany, NY

Joined a friend for an early dinner. Neither of us had been here before. Nice and homey, rustic and fairly small. Good atmosphere and friendly and attentive staff. The menu is extensive and after a starter of bbq nacho’s, which was very tasty I order a moose burger. Which came with chips. Very good burger, but they could have put less bbq sauce on it I think. Overall a good experience all the way around. I would recommend and I will be back.

Great tavern with high quality food and very good taps. The Mac and cheese options are exceptional, but the burgers and sandwiches are also worth a try. They have a lot of variety with their beers, not just the trendy IPAs that some places have.

C
C A

Service is great, lots of craft beer on tap. Super loud atmosphere, but it's probably better when you can get a patio table. Great seitan wings, but taking off a star bc this is the only place I've ever eaten that charges $1.50 if you want any sauce at all on your wings.

B

Small but cozy. Four stars because our server forgot our fries and the recommendations for drinks weren’t the best. But would go back for sure.

Amelia Kwasniewski

Fun place. Food is good. A variety of beers is nice. The waitstaff has always been very nice. It seems there is one person waiting on the inside and the outside and that's not really enough. The mac and cheese and the French Onion Soup come in little cast iron pots that are adorable Mac and Cheese, French Onion Soup and a burger is what I have had there and all yummy. A little pricey.

K

Always good eats here. Can never go wrong with the fries & the BLT!. Portions are very large. Appetizers are super fun. These is tiny. Doesn't take reservations. Easy bathroom access and handicap accessible. Staff was incredibly friendly. Very accommodating to changes. Veryware of food allergies. Look forward to going back. Parking is street parking but it's pretty safe area so you should be okay

As another adventures in brunch we decided to hit up this location since we tried the one in Latham. And again I neglected to take pics. I'm sorry I know I'm slacking..... Was a nice day so sat outside. Got my normal Bloody Mary (I believe all locations have the make your own BM bar set up), mimosa flight for the daughter and kiddie mimosa for the grand princess. I wanted a burger but didn't want to bother with a special request since it was still brunch hours. So I went with the chicken n biscuit skillet. Daughter got the same. The Grand Princess got the breakfast tacos. They were full of fluffy scrambled eggs and either bacon or sausage. I can't remember what she picked. This time I asked for extra gravy anticipating the extra dry biscuit but hoping it would not be the same here. It did not help. Maybe if there was only a top piece it might be manageable but top and bottom was too much. Had the same issue at the other location - same recipe perhaps. Other than that the food was good and the service was excellent.

C
Chaz Antonelli

The fried food was extraordinarily oily and the salad which I ordered. Because I wanted to get something healthy was drowned in salad dressing, thus negating any healthy benefits from it. I ordered the Philadelphia cheesesteak. The cheese on top was strange tasting -- I'm not sure what it was exactly, but it does not compare to cheese whiz (the traditional topping for Philadelphia cheesesteaks). I would not reorder it there. The bacon macaroni and cheese was delicious.

C
Christopher Roscoe

Amazing atmosphere, great front of the house staff, great draft selections, mostly all the food is amazing. The only thing lacking five stars is when I order wings, even when ordering them crispy... They are underwhelming in texture. They're flavorful.. But they come out kind of like rubber. The server or bartender always make it right. But I wish it would be right the first time. Of your going to get the wings, ask multiple times to get them extra crispy, especially they are some of the larger sizes wings I've had. From ordering to getting the wings shouldn't be just five minutes.

N
Not Your Business

There is inconsistency with their food, I order the same things every time, but regardless it's usually still really good and I'm happy. Only once the Buffalo Mac N Cheese I got was entirely different than normal, it was really bad and I haven't gotten that again because I'm nervous lol. I definitely recommend this place and I will definitely keep ordering!

G

The place has really good food and great Atmosphere but don't order thre ruben it sucks the cut the corn beef to thick and is hard to chew. Its should be thin sliced pieces.

Stopped by after visiting the Schuyler house. Service was fabulous -Friendly and welcoming. The maple bacon sweet potato fries for an appetizer - they were fabulous! Daughter ordered the mac and cheese with a side of fries. Mac and cheese was good - fries were amazing. Hubs ordered the Nashville hot chicken Mac and cheese and said it was very good. Also said fries were amazing. I ordered the Reuben and it was good, although I found the slices of corned beef a little too thick to make eating it easy. Flavor was spot on tho. If ever back in Albany would definitely go again.

What a cute place! Food was pretty good! Beer battered grilled cheese with brisket, came with tomato bisque! The sandwich was pretty good, maybe a little well done but tasty! But the soup was AMAZING! The flavor was amazing! Robust! Will be back to try another unique dish!

The waitrer was super nice and friendly to us. We were caught in the rain and my friends shirt was ruined. He gave her a warm shirt to help her out abd his service was amazing. The food was great and super fresh. Loved the atmosphere as well.

P
Patrick Jordan

The bartender had to run the entire bar and restaurant alone during a busy lunchtime. She did the best she could without even having a busboy until later. The kitchen must have been shortstaffed because it took almost an hour for our sandwiches to come out, and we had to take them to go because of the delay.

S
Steven Quinn

Unfortunately it was a disappointing experience. The drinks and the Mac n cheese were good. They were definitely short staffed which is understandable but the chicken sandwich was mediocre and the Buffalo chicken pizza was awful. It's not real pizza, it's cooked on a pre-made flat bread. I wouldn't recommend anything other than drinks and apps here.

G
Gabrielle Frangella

Ordered online for pick up drive 20 minutes there to find out they canceled our online order. So we re ordered to go. Paid extra for fries with burger and never got the fries. Quesadilla was supposed to have chips and they were never in the bag. The food we did receive was delicious tho. Also could see bartender going in back and reaching her ungloved hand into the bag of chips and then dipping them into whatever was in the pot idk if it was cheese or soup but either way kind of gross.

B
Brianna Priest

This is my first time eating here & I got the tipsy chicken sandwich which was great but I also ordered a classic burger medium well, & it was definitely medium rare. Couldn’t get it fixed because I ordered it through grubhub.

1st time at the Albany location. Parking can be tricky so be prepared to drive around a bit to find a spot. My party of 7 was seated right away for Sunday lunch a few weeks ago. We ordered a couple appetizers and our meals within 10 minutes of arriving. That’s where the quickness ended. The appetizers came out after maybe 20 minutes and entrees came out after we had been there for an hour. Our waiter, who also seemed to be the bartender, refilled some of our drinks but forgot to bring the refills for some of the others in our party. Maybe they needed 1 more on staff that day. The food was good but not miraculous enough to draw me back when I can find similar burgers and fries fare with easier parking and more prompt service.

Brandi Perry-Allen
Brandi Perry-Allen

Stopped for lunch. I had the beer battered grilled cheese and tomato bisque. Maybe I should’ve known better, but the grilled cheese was AWFUL. The bread was soaked the grease. The tomato bisque was mildly warm, not hot.

Went on a Tuesday night, not too busy. Service was subpar. Had to ask for salt and pepper, no water refills, no silverware ever came. When we asked for the check, it was dropped off and assumed I would be paying a with a credit card and the fee was already applied. Food was ok, not as hot as could be. Table had a pile of napkins under the foot to keep it steady.

Blanco Sauvignon
Blanco Sauvignon

First, the workers are nice! But a server almost gave away my table bc the first server who greeted us didn't tell the other server that we were seated at the bar, waiting. I knew that might happen, so I kept an eye on the table that just opened and popped up when I saw the server pick up the menus. Before arriving, I got very excited when I read the menu online and saw photos of the food, but to me, the food was just okay, and the wine tasted like mid boxed wine. The presentation of the food was good, though! The ambiance was nice, and the spirits were high, but I likely won't return.

Finally got to visit the Albany location after numerous visits to the other. Same cool atmosphere and good beer selection. Some great seasonal cocktails and unique comfort food. But it would have been better if this location was a buffet or self serve since the waitress was basically non existent. Go to Latham for the best experience.

K
Kelly McKeone

The food is good if you luck out and get something remotely like what you expected, but they can't get an order right to save their lives. No consistency, it's like a game of chance to see what you get. Pizza mac with no sauce, cheeseburger mac with no meat, buffalo mac with no buffalo sauce, baked potato mac with no sour cream. We have never once gotten a correct order. Literally, not one time. We just keep going back because they are open late and it is kind of like playing the lottery. 😅 But honestly, I am pretty over it. I spent $40 on food last night and half of it went in the trash because that was where it belonged, which is a huge waste.

A
Amanda June

By far the worst of the locations, you can't even compare the quality of food or atmosphere to the others. Low food quality, no parking, tiny seating area, looks rough inside and out, feels like no one cares. Nice fast bartender and waitress.

UPDATE: even though today is Memorial Day I still would expect great food and service however this was not the case. The cook tonight 8pm made and burned moose sticks and still served them, they were rock hard. Then to top it off we called to speak to someone about the food they sent out and the women left us on hold and never returned. Will not be returning. PERVIOUS REVIEW 1 year ago: Moose sticks, Fried avocado, Moonshine wings, Buffalo Mac quesadilla (contains chicken), Lobster Mac all delicious and I’m a new customer! Definitely going to keep trying the menu very yummy food! The cheese curds are spicy just a heads up.. wasn’t expecting that.

First time visit for us (my wife & I and another couple) last night, and we're not sure what all the hype is about. Situated nicely on the "New Scotland Strip", their menu certainly looks promising and some of the food may be good - but judging by our meals that seems rather unlikely. After we were seated outside, server appeared seconds after menus arrived so we didn't have time to peruse even the drink offerings. When asked what they had on tap he replied "...well, they're all listed on the menu in your hand". As we continued to sort through beer offerings I asked while still reading if they had Guinness on tap and he said yes - though it wasn't listed on the menu (so much for all the draft beers being listed on the menu in our hands). After that quick visit, for the balance of the evening he would disappear for 20 to 30 minutes at a time, including 30 minutes after another drink order was placed.....so service gets a C- on this night. We were told they smoke their own brisket every day in the back, so 3 of us ordered brisket sandwiches. The Adirondack Dip looked nice as a large toasted roll cut in half & covered w/melted swiss cheese. But once you moved the swiss cheese, there were only 5 or 6 small mouth-sized pieces of dry, chewy, overcooked (poorly smoked) meat on each 1/2 sandwich. The horseradish sauce was virtually undetectable, and for $17 this "sandwich" is way overpriced. Needless to say, the other brisket sandwich described as "beef brisket piled high..." failed miserably in meeting that description. The 4th sandwich was a cuban pressed sandwich: they must have left out the "pressed" part, there was virtually no spicy mustard, and though the pork was more tender than the brisket it had virtually no flavor. Moral of the story here is don't believe the hype, and choose carefully....its probably harder to mess up a hamburger or mac & cheese........ EDIT: Whoops! I neglected to read reviews for New Scotland location prior to posting the above review. I guess all the hype I was aware of is for Latham site.....poor reviews on service and food for this location make sense and back up our experience from last night.

Food was decent. I did have a better meal at the one in latham. What i was really unhappy with was the customer service. I ordered online and when i picked up my order employees looked right at me and walked away. I waited in the door frame for 10 minutes & then was finally helped. They also were practicing no social distancing and an employee could be seen in the kitchen without a mask. Will stick to latham if i choose to buy their menu of food options again.

I have enjoyed the Latham location, however I went to the Albany location. Food was good unfortunately we were ignored. I got my own silverware off an empty table. No refills no one check on us at all. I went to the bar, where much of the staff were chatting, for my water for a second time and I was met with hostile staff. They were very unprofessional toward me to the point where my grandson interrupted the server to remind her I was his grandmother and to be kind. I will never go back.

L
Laney Roloson

My $18 mac and cheese was more like warm pasta salad. The cheese was nowhere to be found and overall just a very bad meal.

When the food is good it’s good but the service has been progressively going down hill taking the food with it. The last time we went there for sit down the staff didn’t put our order in as she “forgot and lost our ticket” told us a half hour after we first gave her our order. Then twice our take out order has been wrong with the selected sauces or burger styles being mixed up. Not worth the drive anymore.

i
iesha hunt

The pulled pork Mac is edible but I didn’t really like it. I’m sure their pulled pork and Mac is good separately, just not together. Their cocktails and sangrias are overpriced tho. The service is kinda slow which is expected when the bar is busy

M
Mallory W.B.

Really disappointed. We order takeout from here occasionally but something from the order is either missing or prepared wrong. This time, we ordered the French onion Mac and there was literally not a SINGLE piece or shred of brisket. Basically got Mac and cheese with gravy. Really upset at this experience as we try to support small businesses over chains. Quality control is definitely something to be improved. Reading other reviews it seems the Latham location may be better... perhaps we’ll give this a try. The Mac and cheese options and appetizers are great, the cheddar ale sauce itself is tasty. Overall the menu is seemingly delicious so It’s really a shame we’ve had this type of incident on more than one occasion.

The best thing I can say is the hot sauce was good. When I ordered chicken tacos for takeout, I did not expect to have to assemble them myself. The slaw lacked flavor and the chicken was a little dry. The inside was nice but I would suggest getting food elsewhere. But maybe it was just the tacos, who knows.

Ordered take out tonight. Dine-in wasn't busy while I awaited my take out. Food was ready slightly ahead of projected time, but I would have preferred if the kitchen took those few minutes to cook my bacon. This is the latest in at least a handful of orders spanning months where the bacon was barely cooked. But hey, at least they remembered my bacon. My husband's wrap which included bacon per the menu had no bacon. All of this, though, is an improvement on the time about a year ago there was no turkey on my turkey reuben. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Also forgot to bag the side for the wrap and my salad dressing, good thing I checked before leaving. Also a good thing I ripped open the bag because my soup was bagged on its side. We enjoy the food when it is made correctly, but lately we're disappointed more often than not. 😔

Look, I know what youre thinking, “just another google review”, but heed my words. This places food, sucks. Never once have I ordered food and been pleasantly happy. Either bad, or tops O K. Drinks and atmosphere however fun, and good. Just dont order food. Its not good. Its meh at best. Dont listen to the people who say otherwise. Maybe the other locations are better. Not albanys. Dont waste your money. The drinks are good, but not enought to make the food better. Actually at best the drinks arent great but like a 7-8.5 at best/

Expensive cross-contaminater burgers. I had to run to the bathroom before I finished my meal.

Waited 30 minutes for a table. Server didn’t come by for drink orders for 15 minutes. We placed food and drink orders at the same time. It took about 45 minutes to get our food and nobody checked in with us to see if we wanted more drinks. The bacon was totally over cooked, even if you like crispy bacon. Awful experience.

Waited 30 minutes and was never even asked what I wanted to order before giving up and leaving (Interior was more than half empty). Listened to one of the waitresses there tell incredibly vulgar things when talking about the other customers to her boyfriend? Who she was eating with while working? She was intensely rude when I asked for my bill without ordering food. Sticky tables, INCREDIBLY rude staff, a 10oz beer that cost me $8. What a waste of space.

Food was terrible! Appetizers were stone cold, fried chicken sandwich was black, Mac and cheese tasted like dish soap, French onion burger dip was so salty it burned your throat. Literally paid $200 for garbage gut. Extremely dissatisfied, was a complete waste of money. I will say, our waiter was friendly.

Service was some of the worst we have ever had. Previously been to the one in Latham and had great service and food. At this Albany location we waited over an hour for her to take our drink orders, another hour after that to take our food order. And then when the food came out, (one person at a time about 15 minutes apart, with the last person getting their meal 50 minutes after the first person), the orders were simply not complete. Every dish was missing main components of the meal. Save your time and go somewhere else

I drove all the way here because I knew they are open late and love the lobster Mac n cheese. They decided to close down the kitchen early and refused to serve us. I drove 30 minutes to come eat but am only able to get drinks because the manager wouldn’t budge

I don’t typically write reviews but feel I have to after my recent experience. Came for lunch on a Thursday. Not packed by any means. The music was incredibly loud so much so we had to yell over it talk to each other. I guess that would be fine on a packed Saturday night or something but not a weekday lunch when you just want to relax and eat. Also they bafflingly left the front door open which let a cold draft in. Why? It was 50 degrees out and raining. We waited for a table for 5 plus minutes while two staff members had their backs to us on their phones. Eventually one turned around and told us to seat ourselves. While ordering I told the waitress I wanted gravy fries with my meal for us to share not as an appetizer. She acknowledged this but brought it out as an appetizer anyways. My Fiancés burger was well done though she ordered Med rare. Gravy fries had barely any cheese curds. My chicken was quite dry. The whole affair took an hour 15mins and cost about $80 with tip. No booze. Seems real steep for a sub par experience. Not a fan.

My wife and I sat down at 1130am on a Thursday. We took a table inside. Two people at the bar but place wasnt busy. Menus were slow to the table as where the drinks. Had a beer then the glass sat empty for 17min. Food came at 1215. Chicken wings and French onion soup. Service: Poor Food quality: Poor First time visiting any Tipsy Moose & the last.

Used to be perfect! Now the order comes messy and missing items, nothing is done properly, don't order the bbq chicken with bacon... It never comes with the bacon which is listed as how the sandwich is made. Bacon underdone when you do get it. poutine is not great anymore, never has the green onions on it. Def not worth the money for disappointment.

started out well with the really friendly hostess and a hard working waitress. I really wanted to like tipsy moose albany but they make it too difficult. It is entirely acceptable that the chosen draft beer had "just ran out, keg kicked" - pretty common occurrence for beer drinkers - besides, they had a nice enough beer selection to cover all tastes. what is not acceptable is waiting a half hour for an EXTREMELY dry, batter-less fried chicken sandwich with limp, greasy fries. yes, it is "pub food" but with so many options I won't be back - too many kitchen problems.

My partner and I tried this place for the first time last night around 6:00PM and EVERYTHING we ordered was disgusting! I ordered a medium-well burger and it was burnt and dry with no flavor or seasoning. We ordered the poutine and it was day old French fries with hardened cheese and not cheese curds and it didn't have gravy on it! That's what makes poutine, poutine. We also ordered the chicken wings extra crispy garlic-parm flavored. They were so hard we could barely bite into them. Had no taste or seasoning. We also ordered onion rings and they weren't crispy. We spent $60 for everything. When my partner went to grab the food, the red-head was short with her and had an attitude. It wasn't even busy. Never going back. One and done. Keep your money. Food was gross. I don't understand how they received high ratings.

My friend has a very unfortunate experience where employees stole her phone while she was in the bathroom. Then pretended to be a manager and downplay the situation. They finally returned it to her after she questioned multiple staff members. Hopefully this is a one off thing but it’s alarming that restaurant staff would go to such lengths to commit a crime against its customers.

We ordered to go and all was great until we opened the fries. Grease soggy not condensation. The fried cheese curds didn't have any raspberry sauce and they were so spicy we had to throw them out. Not edible. Didn't know they were gonna be spicy. Hotter than hot wings. Sucks because it was my birthday dinner.

The food was absolutely not good. It tasted like they used precooked chicken from a bag instead of fresh chicken. Definitely disappointed. The buffalo chicken Mac and cheese tasted like they dumped an entire bottle of hot sauce and beer into it. The cheese was only on top. I’m not trying to be mean I’m just sharing my own personal experience. I was really disappointed, I’m sure they have better days but today was not one of them. It didn’t taste fresh, and the Mac and cheese could have been a lot better!

The host was absolutely disrespectful. I placed an order for pick up, however at the time I showed up to pick up my order she saw me walk through the door however, she continued to have her conversation standing next to a gentlemen on the outside of the bar. After talking for about five minutes she then proceeded to walk to a table to clean it off. Afterwards she came to see what I needed all this time I’m just standing by the waiting area. Lol I just walked out so the food was a complete waste because I never picked it up. Just incredible, amazing service. You will get far with this attitude and Service..if I could actually give ZERO stars I would. Went to THE FOUNTAIN RESTAURANT COUPLE OF DOORS DOWN SERVICE WAS A+ very outstanding. Choose wisely.

I had one of the worst dining experiences of my life. I worked on my house all day and simply wanted to go out and have a beer and a sandwich to reward myself. Things started out great. My boyfriend and I got a beer and the cheese curds right off the bat. The cheese curds were delicious and they came out quickly. When the beers arrived we ordered our entrees. We ordered the black and bleu burger and the Adirondack dip. About 20 minutes after we ordered, our server came over to tell me that they did not have any more baguettes and it would be served on 2 hamburger buns instead, I said that was fine. Then about 10 minutes after that he came over to tell me that they were out of sautéed onions and ask me if I wanted raw red onions or no onions. I asked if they could sauté the red onions and hw said no, they were pickled. So I said I wanted no onions. I contemplated changing my order but it was already taking so long that I didn’t want to hold anything up and I would just deal. Another 10 minutes later he finally brings out my meal and my meal only. It was missing the au jus and the horseradish sauce and asked for it to be brought out. I also asked where my boyfriends burger was. He said it would be several more minutes. It is insane that you would serve one persons meal and not the other. At that point we were so disappointed that we just asked for the burger and my sandwich to go. When we got home and ate our food, the burger was mediocre at best. My sandwich looked/tasted like they put dog food on a baguette (which they said they didn’t have) and was falling apart and had no flavor what so ever. We wasted $62.00, after the server comped our beers for the kitchen being out of half the ingredients to make this sandwich and such a long wait time, and ended up making tamed for dinner. I do not recommend and will never go back. What a nightmare!

We waited from 530 to 730 for literally just fries and dip. And never received anything. We were admittedly a big group but once seated and brought waters and our order taken, we never had anyone come back and check on us. Except for about an hour later to be told our food would be right out. The place was empty outside one or two people at the bar and about two other small groups of 2 or 3 people who came in after us(and also received food while we waited) finally after multiple members of our group really needed to get home did we finally walk up and request to pay for atleast our drinks. Which took another 15 to 20 minutes because the host tried to convince us to stay longer. Blaming delivery orders for the delay. If delivery is really the reason for a 2 hour wait for appetizers, you shouldn't do delivery and dine in. The place is a joke and so poorly managed, who ever manages it should be fired and the staff should be ashamed at how pour of a job they did. And again, if you aren't equipped to handle delivery, don't do delivery. I know at the end of the day they don't care but they just lost 9 people atleast from ever coming back. Do better

Placed a to go order, an hour ahead of time. When my husband arrived to pick the order up, he had to pretty much wait without any acknowledgement until someone from the back finally came out and asked if he could help, only to be told the lobster Mac and cheese was sold out, which someone could of notified us or let us know before hand. My husband placed another order to replace the lobster Mac and cheese which took an additional 45 minutes. Mind you we placed our to go order around 6:40, by the time my husband walked out with the food it was around 8:30. By the time we made it home we were missing Cajun fries for a burger meal and the jerk chicken Mac and cheese was horrible, threw the whole plate away. What a waste of damn money!

Let me preface this with the fact that we love Tipsy Moose. We’ve been coming here for so many years and I’ve always had a great experience, food, drinks and service. However, as of today 3/8/25 at 1pm I wish I could give this a 0/5 stars. I’m not sure if the servers were training or what was the deal but the service was TERRIBLE. The bartender and waitress were unfriendly. We haven’t been here in a long time and were excited to come here today with family to have drinks and lunch. We ordered our drinks and watched the waitress and bartender talking for 10 minutes while our drinks sat on the service bar before she brought them over. We ordered our food and only one person’s food came out and it was lukewarm, and we never even saw the other food that we ordered hit the table. We had empty drinks. We were waiting for her to come back to refill them. So we asked her to bring us our check and when she did, it had the food on it that we didn’t even get. I said “thank you” to her, and she gave me a dirty look and did not mutter a single word out of her mouth. No apologizing or customer service whatsoever. Needless to say we likely won’t ever be back. What a shame!

Negative stars if possible. Their draft beers were warm and flat. Bartender served me a kicked half guinness pint and still charged me. They also knowingly let a very drunk guy drive home. I saw him peeing outside on the street, get into his car and swerve away. Apparently he’s a regular too and does this all the time.

I have ordered the French onion burger a good 6 times. When it has the broth with it it's a 10/10! But that has happened maybe twice? Just ordered it again and again,no broth. Also ordered the buffalo fries and got buffalo mac n cheese instead. Tried calling but the phone lines are busy or disconnected. Wish they could get it together. Edit- I bit into my medium rare burger and it's medium well at best. Hey when it's on y'all's food is a 10/10, seriously. But if it's not it's just tough man.

Tried coming here TWICE. The first one she said “we are closing” yet online said they were open for another 2+ hours.. so went somewhere else. Tried again today, was told it was going to be a little bit of a wait, I asked how long and I got told “I don’t know, I only have a 5 top available” (how do you not know, I’ve never been to a restaurant that doesn’t even give you an estimate) yet there was 5 tables outside that they could of used, didn’t even ask if we wanted to sit outside.. when we walked by back to the truck we saw an empty table through the window, yet no one else waiting for a table. So you’re going to pass up a table of 2 because some chairs wouldn’t be used?. NEVER again will I try and come to any of their locations, nor will I be having them in my “places to eat” at my air bnb guest book.

Ordered cheeseburger Mac and cheese without tomatoes to go. Not only did I receive a heaping load of tomatoes I also got chicken in it?? Cheese sauce also has a strange “fruity” taste to it. Ate 3 bites and put it down. Idk what’s going on with there kitchen but I’m going to have to pass.. -Money was said to be refunded (waiting on confirmation)
