Vintage Vanilla Albany Reviews
Very nice, old fashioned luncheonette. They have lunch specials, sandwiches, salads, soups, milkshakes, fountain drinks. Also a cute gift shop with children’s clothing, household gifts and decorations. Lots of Texas made jarred foods- jams, jellies, pickles etc. Good, friendly customer service.
Great little pharmacy/cafe. Had a very tasty southwest chicken salad sandwich. And a tasty chocolate malt. Mmmmmm Highly recommend stopping in here.
Nice atmosphere and great light lunch menu. Worth the experience.
Not just a soda fountain but also a gift shop and clothing store. Very unique building.
Great little place. Service was amazing. It was too early for a soda but looked fantastic!
Such a cute little place, vintage drug store and soda fountain.
Really fun place for a quick light lunch.
Absolutely the best service and espresso shake in town.
Great service Real nice employees 👏 👍 👌

The ice cream is amazing and the workers are the best!!!!
Cool little place. Nothing overly fancy on the lunch, but the food is good. Just what we needed in the middle of our road trip. Plus, the gifts and candies are nice to shop around
What a cool ol shop. Makes you feel like a country kid again.
Great little lunch getaway. They have some delicious salsas
This is a very cute little shop. It reminded me of my childhood. We were sad because the ice cream was unavailable but we still enjoyed walking around the store. We will definitely return.
This place is a MUST see stop. Old soda fountain shop that has an acting pharmacy in it. Has a neat atmosphere and plenty of canned/jarred goodies to choose from as well as sweet and specials of the day. Our waitress, Kathy, waited on us going down state and coming back through. She was great. They had an antique store attached but I would DEFINITELY recommend this place if you are ever in Albany. Wish we were closer would visiting frequently.

A great place with a real, functioning soda fountain! Their chocolate ice cream sodas are just like I used to make 60 years ago. Yummy!
This place is so amazing! Didn't get to eat but tried their Root Beer float and it was so good. I love all the knick knacks, candy and different stuff to buy. I wasn't able to get a picture but the vibe there just feels like home.

The place is a community staple, and I can see why. Great, welcoming atmosphere, operational pharmacy, gift shop, and old fashioned soda fountain. My only qualm is the amount of ice. I feel like they got their training on how to fill a cup of ice from Sonic. To the rim, with about 3 ounces of actual drink because that's all the space left in the cup between the ice. For $3, it feels like a horrible bang for the buck drink since 4 sips and it's all gone. Since I'm mentioning the ice though.... Highly recommend a cup of ice if you like chewing on ice. The pieces are small and easy to chew. The folks who operate the counter are very friendly and nice as well, making it all feel welcoming

Amazing milkshake but the tuna and ham salad were both unpalatable. And I’m not picky.

Came here for lunch. Horrible. Got the chicken salad sandwich and it came on this little stale croissant and served with veggie straws. The menu said chips. I give veggie straws to my kids.....a horrible choice as a side. Chicken salad was so so, not great. Skip this place for lunch.
Food preparations stopped at 2 . Would not recommend Personnel not friendly
