Bareburger Albee Square Reviews
Billy was absolutely amazing!!!!!!! will come and recommend this restaurant to absolutely everyone!!!!! My boyfriend is vegetarian with dairy allergy and i have celiac and we were able to have the most amazing and safest meal ever!!!
Amazing place. Great food everything tasted unbelievable.
Honestly best fresh and homemade burgers ever!!!!
I have gone to the Bareburger in Brooklyn, Court Street on several occasions and always consistent. This particular Bareburger is by far the best. It is always fresh and always delicious. I have to say Billy, the owner takes pride in what he does keeping Bareburger clean and always on point. His drinks are incredible. I have to say my closet location is in Astoria but Court Street is by far the best. It is definitely worth going to Court Street, believe me you will see and taste the difference.
I immensely enjoy this chain of delectable foods. They provide juicy, rich burgers that will satisfy any picky eaters. The milkshakes are incredible, with sweet and sophisticated flavors. Definitely go here.
Great variety of customization; my bison burger was delicious and my vegetarian and gluten free friends loved their meal as well. Fries are a generous portion.
This place has the best bison burger and you can't beat the $1 lunch combo with fries and drink added to yohr meal. Will be back again!
I really enjoyed my first time dining here. Service and food was great! I will definitely be back!
This is my favorite organic burger restaurant during the summer. When I go here I make sure my stomach is empty. The food is very delicious and the servings are very generous. It's worth every penny and the workouts I have to do in the future to burn the calories off. Love the beverages also.
The establishment provides excellent service. While my patronage is infrequent, the burgers are commendable, and vegetarian options are available. It is well-suited for families, and the atmosphere generally fosters positive behavior. The environment is also conducive to casual drinking, and my recent experience with tequila was enjoyable.
I am coeliac and I never thought I would be able to have Fried chicken again however here I was included and was able to have a lovely meal. Our server was Billy and he was so lovely he reassured me I was completely safe and he was easy to chat to as well. I could not recommend this place enough definitely have to come here if you’re in nyc. P.S you NEED to try the tomato sauce it phenomenal.
This burger place was amazing. So quiet and peaceful. Grabbed a quick lunch with my partner and we enjoyed every bite of our burger. They use organic ingredients which is a plus for us as we use organic at home. I had a Soco and my partner had a chicken sandwich. Review the photos below I promise you won’t regret eating here!
Wonderful service!! Very polite staff. Great tasty chicken. Thanks for a great lunch experience. I'm definitely ordering again.

They do have great burgers, but I go for the buffalo chicken sandwich. And the $8 happy hour margaritas! Great, friendly service. Also a clean bathroom.

The service is always great at the Brooklyn Cobble Hill location. Food is always good. They are very consistent. Even the pick up orders, are always hot.
Just great service, crazy $1 pints of PBR, great happy hour, and food, and the friendliest service we had in NYC.. worth going to Brooklyn just for this.
Good food. Nice portions. Friendly service. I wasn't crazy about the explicit music playing but overall the vibe was chill. I haven't been back here in a few years and I wasn't disappointed. I recommend this place and will return in the future.
Had a short but sweet experience here. Ordered the vegan smash style patty and it was gorgeous. The only downside was I ordered a single patty, I’ll be sure to double up next time 👌🏻 guess it would be nice to have a vegan style chicken burger as an option but still worth a visit in any case.
After spending the whole day trying to figure out where to get a turkey burger, I stopped by Bareburger to try it out for the first time. I ordered a lunch special that was around $17. It came with the turkey burger, fries, and a drink. I order the lemonade which was freshly squeezed so I enjoyed that! The burger was a filling size for me and the patty was cooked well. I really liked the fries. They give you a good amount!! It took a bit of time to get served because the waiter was tending to everyone but once we ordered, the food came quickly. The place had a bar vibes and they had lots of specials on alcoholic drinks too. It was pretty busy on a Wednesday afternoon but I would go back.
I enjoyed eating here. Friendly staff. Great drinks. Creative decorations. Light holders made out of forks and spoons. Cozy atmosphere. I give it only four stars because the menus we're sticky and slightly dirty. Tons of hands touch it per day. It would be great to have the clean every night. We were the first one there for the day so it wasn't clean at the end of the day. Some of my chicken was slightly pink and that made me stop eating. But besides that everything was great.
YES, 1,000 times yes. I was walking down the street, not thinking I wanted a burger for lunch but then I saw these bright yellow garage doors that opened up the entire restaurant and a beautifully designed frame wall and I couldn't resist. I am so glad I came here. As if the decor didn't already blow me away (seriously, at least come by for that and TRY to say no), the menu was so explanatory and helpful in deciding what to eat. You have the option of building your own burger (bun choice as well) or you can choose a pre-made burger. They don't just offer beef, but also bison, elk, duck, turkey, etc. It's also very apparent that they care where the meat is coming from, which I really appreciate. I got the Supreme Burger (beef patty, bacon, onion rings, etc.) and it was cooked perfectly. Not overdone, just juicy enough. Typically I don't feel great after eating burgers, but I felt wonderful all day after this. Definitely think there wasn't a lot of grease on it either which was awesome. In the words from the man sitting behind me, "Patty is a little small but, you know what, I don't need a big fat one." True that. I didn't think it was that small, but to each his own. Also, I can't help I overhear when someone talks loud and is sitting a foot away. Swear its not as creepy as it sounds. I had sweet fries with the burger and LOVED them. I felt healthy, while still not, and they were just the right amount of crispiness that kept the inside soft and potato-y. Also had the fried pickles to start and they were good, a new experience of sorts. The batter wasn't just bread crumbs, but also sesame seeds (I think) and other mix-ins that added a little kick. The dipping sauce paired with them also seemed to have more fresh ingredients in it. I'm glad I tried them, but I'm used to plain (but not plain) southern style fried pickles, so I can't get away from that. I'll definitely be coming back.

The fries were diviiiiiiine. I’d go here for drinks and fries but I personally would skip the burger. I ordered the standard med-well. The meat had a weird tang to it I wasn’t used to (maybe bc it’s organic?) and it wasn’t as juicy as I like my burgers. Just my opinion though, the other person I was with loved his Elk burger. The service was stellar though! And I’ll definitely be back for the fries.
Food is great - bathrooms unbelievably filthy. They have a sign outside the bathroom showing how often they clean, but what I saw takes a long time to accumulate.

Dinner week of Feb 15-18 for 3 for $75: frustrating mediocre 3 Burgers some of which were seemingly just reheated, 1 tiny Cal slaw not chopped up consistently with chunks of cabbage core, 1 tiny precooked overdone Yam Potatoes tiny portion Fries (smaller than McDonald's Kids), 1 10 oz cup milkshake, no aioli or herb mayo with dill or anything fancier than just regular mayo & ketchup). All served on stranger than even unhealthy for any food consuming plastic melamine plates and plastic trays for hot hamburgers (pretty sure Melamine plastic Plates if in dishwasher or when in contact with warmer food would give one cancer and ideally Restaurateur would consider upgrading from Cancer causing Melamine Plates to regular cafeteria disposable Paper Plates or paper boats like in McDonald's or Metal Food Grade Trays like those at Shake Shack or Burger Heaven not expensive regular good Hamburger near 53rd and Lexington Avenue in Manhattan NY (where similar but much better with healthy vegetables instead of fries would cost you $40 a week prior), or other normal Restaurants with proper Dinner plates like the cheapest ones from Dollar store for Home use would be much better for our Health and environment). Recycling brown Napkins were environmentally friendly, but could have been with BareBurger Logo imprinted for fussy people to alert them of the Restaurant they had their meal from, as well as others who want to get a free extra Napkin. Real Metal Knives and forks were a pleasant surprise at this place as well as a decent bathroom. Sadly no Real SPINACH in Bun Replacement low Carb option (we got the cheapest sadly soggy looking like "I am the legend" survivor mediocre flower wrap instead of Real Spinach leaves and Lettuce was offered as 3 extra tiny leaves instead of a Burger Bun we wanted to avoid on one of our Burgers with extra veggies (4 tiny slices of mushrooms, 1/4 of onion and 1 pickle and 2 slices of Jalapeno was $15 + $3 extra for mushrooms with tiny 6-8 oz looking patty precooked and reheated before put in the flour tortillas wrap of cheapest kind worse than Bodegas and in my hamburger I encountered 4 not chewable small bites of what they take out of the meat grinder and throw it out not even giving these rough links to cats or dogs and I never had these things even in Bodega made fresh in front of you Hamburgers or Burger King or McDonald's or at home frozen Burger Patties). No Hot Water option or tea with such food on a cold winter time would help you quickly realize, even next door McDonald's or further 5 min Shake Shack would be a dream come true significantly better options with 3 extra healthy salads and a giant meal for 5 people instead what we got. One condolence was a milk shake (even though unhealthy to be served after an Iron rich Hamburger Meals)... Unhealthy no Hot Water with the meal for proper digestive system health makes me realize it's not kid's friendly. So called Restaurateurs who have this place may have hire rustic decor designer and tried to add large TV on the wall with silent Basketball College games. But the service for takeout constantly made one of inattentive servers kick the door open for a long time to let freezing air hit us for 2-4 min at a time when he went outside while deliberately keeping the door open wide to let guests feel unwelcome and frozen inside the place (first in a lifetime for someone older than College age to realize that No Hot Water with the Meal (instead of Cold Ice Water for those who want Gal Bladdder surgery later on in life from indigestion caused by cold food and on the go improper cheap bodega sandwich experience) and it should have been the sign for us to hit the door running somewhere else like even McDonald's right around where at least the Food Culinary School standard should apply with better Health Standards). BareBurger so called Restaurant was Below my Below Minimum Hamburger Meal standard of Burger King or McDonald's (but it's overpriced like hell, although with confusing very difficult to find topping choices).
I think they were short staffed as the dishes were stacked on the counter. The server who was working seemed super unhappy to be working. They were out of sin cider. We got two kids meals and a side …

I came in for happy hour while I was in the area running some errands. It was just me and the waitress (plus the cooks), I ordered a lemonade that took 25 minutes and for me to ask a second time to…
Very disappointed with my order. The burger and fries arrived late and completely cold. The fries were soggy and clearly not fresh, and the burger wasn’t even warm enough to melt the cheese. To make things worse, I tried calling the restaurant multiple times and no one answered. Poor food quality is one thing, but no customer service on top of it is unacceptable…
I ordered a beef burger because I'm allergic to pork, and I waited 40 minutes, only to be surprised by cold fries as well. A friend sent me here, and I came all the way from the west side of Manhattan to try it, but unfortunately... Good luck, guys
Not sure what happened. I went to the Manhattan location years ago and it was so good. I’ve been to this location twice now and tried different things each time, but it just doesn’t seem like their kitchen knows how to properly cook anything unfortunately. The sauce on the wings was good but the chicken itself was weird and chewy, like it wasn’t meat at all. Fries were very undercooked, and the burger was pretty bland. I’ve previously ordered a different burger before and it was nearly raw in the middle. I thought I’d wait a year and try again but that didn’t seem to work. I do not recommend.
