Döner Haus Albee Square Reviews
The food here was amazing. I was a little nervous to try some of the ingredients and the staff made it so easy Delilah was wonderful and hopeful, and I will be back again soon.
Delilah is amazing; I’d give her 20 stars if I could! So knowledgeable of the menu, patient, and kind. Will definitely be back!
Amazing food and service! Kotti is absolutely amazing. The gyro was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had perfectly seasoned meat, fresh ingredients, and warm, soft pita that brought everything together so well. You can really taste the quality in every bite. The service was just as great as the food. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and quick, making the whole experience even better. Everything came out fresh and fast, and they made sure we were taken care of. If you’re looking for a place with incredible gyros and excellent customer service, Kotti is definitely worth it. I’ll 100% be coming back!
I stumbled upon Kotti Berliner while looking for something else to eat & it was one of the best places I’ve ever been to. The Kotti salad is AMAZING. & Andy is always there ready to pour me my white wine. Please stay across the street from my job!
Now that they offer a vegan option (with vegan white sauce hell yeah), I've made this a regular lunch spot. Very tasty and a good value. Please don't take the tofu off the menu.
When it comes to plant-based dining, finding a truly memorable meal can be like searching for a rare gem. But let me tell you, Kotti Berliner Doner Kebab has managed to deliver an experience that I won’t soon forget. Let’s start with the vegan wrap—though, to be honest, it felt more like a perfectly constructed sandwich. This birthday gift from a thoughtful friend had me stepping out of my usual no-tofu zone. And wow, what an exception it turned out to be. The tofu wasn’t just there for the ride; it was marinated to perfection, blending seamlessly with the veggie mix. Now, let’s talk bread. A crisp sesame riddled exterior gave way to a soft, pillowy bite, striking that elusive balance between texture and flavor. Each topping brought its A-game, adding layers of crunch, tang, and brightness that danced in harmony with every bite. And then there was the special vegan sauce—the kind of condiment that elevates a meal from good to unforgettable. It was creamy, tangy, and herbaceous, tying everything together like a symphony of flavor. The experience was made even better by the cook. Their patience, friendliness, and genuine care shone through in every element of the meal. It wasn’t just food; it was a crafted experience that left me eager to return. Kotti Berliner Doner Kebab isn’t just serving vegan food—they’re setting the standard for how satisfying, flavorful, and downright exciting plant-based dining can be. If you’re even remotely curious about vegan fare, or just crave a culinary adventure, this is the place to go. Trust me, one bite and you’ll be planning your next visit.
I got the chicken wrap and it was tasty. The chicken was soft and perfectly cooked and spiced with a nice mix of filling. It was very well made. The only thing I wish is that there was more red sauce. The next time I will ask for extra
Located in the basement of the mall, it's very close to the escalator heading downstairs. The restaurant is just one of the 35 outlets in the food court, nothing much to say about the atmosphere/ambiance. The service was quick but the staff didn't seem that friendly to me. Food felt okay, the pita bread and veggies were fresh along with chicken which was flavorful but the quantity of chicken felt less and it felt a lot bready to be precise when having it. The cost is definitely a bit on the higher side compared to the quality which was offered. Overall an average experience.
We’ve been here a few times and always enjoyed the beef bowl—portions were usually generous and filling. On our latest visit, though, the portion was noticeably smaller. We didn’t tip this time, so we’re not sure if that affected anything or if the portion sizes have changed. Either way, it was disappointing compared to our previous visits.
unfortunately ur gonna get a better meal from the halal cart on the street. and for half the price. 2 stars because they have vegan white sauce which is such a treat. but super forgettable meal, not worth the cost
The Kebab bowl was average in my opinion. I like well seasoned chicken with some flavor. I think the chicken was well cooked and soft, it didn't stand out to me. I also felt the sauce ( thier white sauce ) didn't really add much.
Waited 20 minutes for my food when many people after me got theirs. Went to ask what was taking so long and they hadn’t even started making it. Completely skipped my order. Had to remind them to put the sauce in. All that and the food was gross. Unseasoned meat, sour sandwich and fries.
This place is a literal scam. I paid $16.60 for a broken tortilla, one ounce of beef, and some soggy lettuce. When I asked for extra feta cheese because they gave me a teaspoon’s worth the guy actually rolled his eyes. I paid $1.50 extra for a side of hummus which they didn’t have and instead of refunding me they asked me if I wanted another sauce. A sauce should be free not $1.50 extra. And I don’t know what kind of sauce you have? A hummus is not a sauce. It is a side. I asked for a bowl in the first place. Once I realized I wasn’t getting one I asked for it to go and then the worker handed me the wrap like bare handed no fork just open. I actually cannot believe in this economy I just paid for a little wrap for $17. It wasn’t even worth $5. For the love of god do not go here. Go to anyyyy of the other stalls in this food market. This is a scam.
The food is undeniably good, but the staff messed up both of my orders, and then proceeded to give me practically 1/2 of a portion for both mistakes on their part (My receipt clearly outlined what I had ordered). It’s not fair to customers who are paying almost $40 for two bowls to give them half portions. I am seriously considering not ordering from here anymore given this as it is really bad customer service.
Went about an hour after opening but somehow the rice was cold and crunchy (didn't taste fresh at all) and the chicken was also cold. Unfortunately, quality has gone down since I last ate here. The portion of chicken is also small, when I asked for extra (I told them I don't mind paying for it), the cashier looked at me like I had asked for something absurd. Quality and service was better before. Wouldn't go back.
10.27.25 Don't eat at this location. The manager berates his employees and messes orders up. When I made my request for food allergies he tried to refuse me service. He poses a hazard to his patrons--not worth the hassle. Many other locations take care to speak with respect and kindness.
