Laliko Albee Square Reviews
Amazing food with great service. Nothing more to say. Everything was so good!! Highly recommend the Acharuli and Megruli. So tasty!! The Mother Khinkali was huge! The soup base and meat filling was so comforting. Also ordered the Shkmeruli which had the tastiest sauce. I dipped the bread from the Acharuli in it too. Georgian salad tasted incredibly fresh and refreshing.
Well worthy of its Michelin recognition! LALIKO is a beautifully curated Georgian restaurant. Between the beautiful wall murals showing points of cultural significance, to the Georgian staff, to the absolutely scrumptious food, this restaurant is steeped in tradition. The staff are very knowledgeable, and are more than happy to share the history of the food with you. The food itself is delicious, and I left eating much more than I expected, because everything was so delightful. Will be coming back here again soon, and bringing friends.
I recently visited Lalico for a brunch event and it exceeded all expectations. The restaurant has such a cozy and stylish ambiance — you instantly feel relaxed and at home. The Georgian cuisine was outstanding: rich flavors, beautiful presentation, and generous portions. Our group was especially impressed with the wine selection and the overall dining experience. The staff was incredibly professional and attentive, making sure everything ran smoothly and every guest felt comfortable. Come here just once, and you’ll instantly become one of their regular guests!
I was a guest at a brunch hosted at Lalico and I was absolutely impressed with this place. The restaurant has a warm, stylish atmosphere where you immediately feel comfortable and welcome. The cuisine was incredible — everything was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of authentic Georgian flavor. I was especially impressed by the large selection of wines and how perfectly they complemented the dishes. The service is truly top-tier: attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly. The team made sure every guest felt special and taken care of throughout the event. I wholeheartedly recommend Lalico to anyone looking for a place with amazing food, a great atmosphere, and excellent service. I will definitely be coming back again!
It was my second time when I visited Laliko Georgian restaurant in New York, and both times the experience was delicious. The food is amazing, my favorite is khachapuri with mint, Georgian salad with so a tasty sauce. This place is great for a big party or a small intimate dinner. highly recommend
Lalico is one of the best Georgian restaurants in New York. The food is incredibly flavorful and authentic — every dish tastes homemade and full of tradition. The khachapuri and khinkali were absolutely delicious and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a cozy interior that makes you want to stay longer and enjoy the experience. The service was attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly taken care of. If you’re looking for real Georgian cuisine, great wine, and a beautiful dining experience in NYC, Lalico is definitely a must-visit. Highly recommend
Tired and exhausted after sightseeing in New York, we went to Laliko like hungry wolves and we truly did not regret it. We got a great table immediately, even without a reservation. The food was sensational, the service outstanding flexible, attentive, and accommodating. The prices are really fair. You can enjoy fine dining here, but you can also grab something quickly if you’re just hungry. It’s just like in Georgia: the guest is king, and that’s all there is to it. Thank you very much. We attacked the food so eagerly that we forgot to take photos of it, but the interior is pleasant as well, so this time, only photo and video of the inside.
Went to Laliko with my wife for a relaxed date night and it turned out to be a great choice. The place is cozy and perfect for a simple evening out. The khachapuri was honestly one of the best I’ve had, perfectly baked, rich, and comforting. The khinkali were just as impressive, juicy and full of flavor. And the Georgian wine was a highlight for me, some of the best in the world in my opinion and a perfect match with the food. Friendly service, great atmosphere, and truly satisfying food. We left happy and will definitely be back.
The shrimp Khinkali were great. Its usually always beef so it was nice to see something new. The bartender was very nice. He makes the bar a welcoming spot
It’s the best Georgian restaurant in NYC . It’s not just food you eat , you feel like you are in Georgia with flavours. Food and drinks it’s just next level of joy . staff is very friendly and attentive . Highly recommended 👌✨❤️❤️❤️
haven't had much georgian food so it was nice to try a lot of dishes here. everything was well cooked, i was pleasantly surprised by the flavors!
The staff here are amazing. They know Georgian food because most of them are authentically from Georgia. The restaurant is small but it has a very homey feeling to it. We started going here when it opened about a year ago and we now know a lot of the staff, so that makes it fun to go. We feel welcomed there. They have great Kharcho. They also have a great assortment of Georgian wines
I absolutely love Laliko. The food is consistently excellent and always comes out hot, fresh, and full of flavor, which honestly says a lot these days. Every dish feels thoughtful and well executed, never rushed. What truly sets this place apart is the staff. The entire team is warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. A special shoutout to Mari, my favorite server. She is phenomenal. Professional, kind, and always perfectly attentive without ever being intrusive. She makes every visit feel personal and memorable. This is the kind of place you keep coming back to, not just for the food, but for how you’re treated. And my favorite way to treat myself here is their deconstructed Napoleon cake. It is absolutely to die for. Highly recommend.
I've been to most Georgian restaurants in NYC and as things currently stand Laliko is the best one in the city. The food, service (iirc the server name was Milan), ambience and experience was all super. The eggplant with walnut sauce and cheese khinkali were both phenomenal. We also enjoyed the lobiani khachapuri also but look forward to trying other styles of khachapuri they have next time + look forward to going back!
Came here for our anniversary dinner. It was our first time having Georgian food and it was fantastic! Although it took a little time to get seated and to order food, everything was well worth the wait. The cocktails are so good and the food left us impressed and full but not bloated. The dessert was a thoughtful touch :) Can’t wait to introduce this restaurant to more people, some of the best bites and sips of the year!
Overall, it was a great experience, the staff were very welcoming and attentive, and the dishes featured fresh, natural ingredients that made for both a beautiful presentation and a great tasting experience. We spent about $60 per person, which we thought was quite reasonable for the amount we tried: the beef and pork khinkali (3 pieces), the mushroom khinkali in truffle sauce (4 pieces), Adjaruli khachapuri, and the pork mtsvadi as our main dish. We paired everything with homemade pomegranate juice and ended the meal with a delicious Georgian-style Napoleon. The mushroom khinkali was such a creative twist, and everything was truly excellent. We’ll definitely be coming back to explore the rest of the menu.
Laliko is a gem for authentic Georgian cuisine! The eggplant rolls with walnut paste were a refreshing start, the khinkali dumplings stole the show with their juicy fillings, and the grilled meats—especially the kupati sausage and chicken shashlik—were outstanding. Warm atmosphere, great wine, and excellent service. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to experience true Georgian flavors.
LALIKO was an incredible place to try! A very good selection of Georgian plates that are made fresh and are very authentic. I enjoyed every bite of this dinner. Great and quick service. The restaurant has a very beautiful decor that makes your dinner even more enjoyable. Recommend sitting outside to take in the vibe of the city. Recommend getting a reservation as on Wednesday night it was almost full.
Some of my favorite food I’ve had in the city! They have vegetarian options! So pleased to have stumbled across this. Also, excellent service from our waiter who was very helpful at providing recommendations and making sure we were comfortable. Good place to go with a date, friends, or family. It was a bit loud inside due to there being a lot of people so we sat outside which was much quieter and cozy (they have blankets)! :-)
It’s a delightful Georgian restaurant featuring a stylish interior, friendly staff, and flavorful dishes. My main dish was perfectly paired by cocktail prepared by professional bartender Temo, who is highly skilled in his craft. I also tried a very interesting desert, which featured a unique combination of vanilla ice cream and grains that was well-balanced in taste. Finally, the bar had an excellent selection of wine, liquors and cocktails.
I’ve been here twice, and it’s quickly become a favorite. The place is cozy and intimate, without feeling cramped. The cocktails are outstanding—some of the best I’ve had in Manhattan in recent years. The food is fantastic. I’ve tried khinkali at countless Georgian restaurants, but these are among the best—an absolute must! The Khachapuri Adjaruli is also amazing. I really enjoyed the cupati as well (even though I don’t have a picture). For dessert, the Napoleon is a must-try. Service is always warm and attentive, and I’ve never experienced delays. I highly recommend this place to anyone.
Such a great experience at Laliko! Everything we ordered was delicious - the Megruli khachapuri was cheesy and perfectly baked, the khinkali were super juicy, and those eggplant rolls with walnut and pomegranate were so flavorful. We also tried the tarragon soda, which was surprisingly refreshing. They brought out a flaky, creamy Napoleon dessert as a birthday treat - such a sweet touch. Cozy vibe, friendly service, and honestly just really good food. Definitely coming back!
A beautiful spot for great Georgian food. I absolutely loved the Adjaruli and the khinkali; those were definitely my favourites of the night. The stews were also very well made and tasted great, though. While everything was delicious, I did find the dishes to be a little pricey for the portion sizes. I do see, however, that they have some better deals on the lunch menu. The server was very friendly and helpful, but I did find service to be a little slow. But definitely not a bad place to wait in, with very lovely ambiance and beautiful decor.
I really like Georgian cuisine so was eager to discover this restaurant in Village/Tribeca area. The place is very nice and have quite ambiance, ideal for a date or gathering with a friend's. As for food, since I am spoiled by Georgian cuisine, I can say that their Adjarian Khachapuri was pretty good, hinkali were okay, but garlic chicken wasn't that good, I could taste the flavor of old spoiled oil that it was baked in. Whatever the case, I didn't like chicken. But I was very pleasantly surprised with their unique dessert, essentially it was a barley with cream, but it tasted so good. In overall, I would give them another chance.
new hot georgian spot! Loved the vibes of this place and the location is great. We went for the khinkali with beef, which were good but a bit too spicy for our taste. The georgian salad was amazing, fresh veggies with a perfectly balanced sauce -loved it! The chicken skewers were good, but nothing really stood out. I’ve been to many georgian restaurants here and this one definitely feels more like on the pricier side.
I had been looking forward to coming to Laliko for months. I used to work just a block away from this place, and I passed by it every day as it was opening. I finally got the opportunity to try it, and I was mostly underwhelmed. Firstly, the staff and the ambience are very nice. The decor in the restaurant is unique, and the murals are beautiful. However, the food was lacking the flavor I was hoping for. I didn’t take a photo of everything we ate, but all were fairly bland and leaned salty. My favorite was the Adjaruli, a cheesy bread with egg yolk and butter. That was very good! A simple dish, but very comforting. This place is not cheap, our dinner was $200+ (2 drinks, 2 appetizers, 1 entree). It is not egregiously expensive but definitely a bit much. I can certainly understand why people like this place so much, it was just not for me.
