Great spot with big windows and awesome people watching. The location is perfect and the service was fast without feeling rushed. The burger was amazing. The bacon was perfectly crispy and the fries were well seasoned and super satisfying. We started with the banana bread which was such a nice way to kick things off. My partner ordered the pancakes with the cheesecake filling and absolutely loved them. Overall a really great meal in a great location. Would definitely come back.

We read reviews and made a reservation for 5 after seeing a play in the west village. The restaurant was cozy, has an atmosphere, and a relaxed feel where people don't talk over the next table. We started with the foccacia and olive oil. 2 large pieces, crusty outside, warm fluffy inside. We inhaled this. I had a Ginger island non-alcoholic drink. Very nice. Pineapple and Ginger beer mix well. For dinner, normally I go for steak, I heard about their chicken. Highly, highly recommend this dish. The manager later told me this dish is what they're known for over 18 years, and it's the one item that never changes on the menu. They did a boneless half chicken that was roasted and finished on a hot pan. Result was juicy with a crisp skin, light seasoned with just enough salt and pepper. The veg was roasted baby bok choy and sweet potatoes with black garlic. My date had halibut. Nothing left on either plate when we finished. Excellent discovery and highly enjoyed.

I had such a great experience at Market Table! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was as beautiful as it was delicious. I started with a cocktail called Call Me By Your Name, made with Neversink gin, Lillet Blanc, peach, lemon, and jasmine florets. It was light, floral, and perfectly balanced — a refreshing drink that set the tone for the meal. For food, the Gulf Shrimp Tacos were a standout — juicy shrimp with creamy coleslaw, avocado crema, and just the right kick from the Holland chili. The Buttermilk Pancakes with cheesecake filling and blueberry compote were pure comfort — rich, fluffy, and indulgent in the best way. I also tried the Market Breakfast, which came with two eggs, sausage links, home fries, a little salad, and a flaky buttermilk biscuit. Everything was well-seasoned and cooked just right. Overall, Market Table nails both flavor and presentation. It’s the kind of place that works for brunch with friends or a relaxed solo meal. I’ll definitely be back!

The people working here match the restaurant's character. Everyone got to sample the range of dishes we ordered. I was pleasantly surprised by the interior of the restaurant. All workers show helpfulness and create a welcoming atmosphere, with generally kind people around. Have a fantastic experience here.

Put simply: wow! We had an amazing dinner at Market Table. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious, from the Brooklyn burrata and the cucumber gazpacho to the seared cauliflower and halibut. So fresh! So tasty! Drinks were incredible as well - tasted better than they looked. Warm staff and an inviting space. Would definitely recommend and will be back when I visit again!

Fresh, well executed dishes in a stylish West Village setting We stumbled upon Market Table for dinner, drawn in by its modern, minimalistic decor. The ambiance is inviting and understated, perfect for a relaxed evening out. The food was fresh and beautifully presented, with solid flavors, though nothing particularly unique or standout overall. The beet tart like starter was the highlight of the meal and is definitely worth trying if you’re a fan of beets. Service was quick and efficient, and while prices are on the higher side, it’s to be expected in the West Village. A good spot for a clean, seasonal meal in a stylish setting.

Market Table was delicious! We enjoyed the beet tartare, cucumber gazpacho, and focaccia to start. For mains we ordered the chicken and the Atlantic cod, both were wonderful! Drinks were tasty, the vibe was good, and service was excellent. All around this was a solid spot and would definitely recommend!

We had dinner to celebrate 2025 Mother’s Day . Great food, warm atmosphere and attentive staff. We had 4 small vegetable dishes as starters ( forgot to take photos ). By the time we remembered to take photos, they were all gone! So delicious! We ordered pork, chicken and steak as main courses. Love every one of them. The dessert looks good but we were so full…… next time !

Had an excellent Thanksgiving meal. 4 adults and 3 kids. Every dish was perfect. From the high quality ingredients to the perfect temp to the appealing presentation. Elia's team (including Francis and Seth) is professional, knowledgeable, hospitable, and responsive. A very tasty and enjoyable experience.

This is truly one of the most charming, feel-good restaurants in the village. The beet salad was fantastic, and our entrées—half roasted chicken and pork tenderloin—were flavorful, with the chicken especially moist and delicious. While the orange chiffon cake wasn’t quite what we expected and was a bit on the dry side, a scoop of ice cream helped balance it out. Overall, a lovely experience with great food and ambiance!

A very special restaurant in the West Village with extremely delicious food. I've eaten many branzinos but this has to be one of the best I've ever eaten. Asparagus soup was perfect. Good Olive Oil cake. Didn't miss a beat. I'd say make this a must on your food travels. Also recently had brunch here and it was delicious. Great food.

This is probably one of my favorite restaurants in nyc. The food is incredible, you can taste that all the ingredients are high quality. They’re accommodating towards gluten allergy and have some vegan/vegetarian options. All the wines are organic and the cocktails are great.

Salmon was delicious. Coffee was good too. I would have preferred a larger selection of tea. Great experience in a great location. They have outdoor seating; we chose to sit inside. Bathrooms were clean and on the main floor. Service was good too. Water was the right temperature. I recommend.

Delicious food and a fun environment - came here with a large group during restaurant week and was not dissatisfied. The main entree with lamb stood out the most to me since it’s truly unique. The cocktails were also delicious and packed a punch, definitely worth its value. Would highly recommend and come back soon!

This was our second visit to this restaurant, returning after a year with high expectations. We had been told that the menu had undergone changes, but in reality, it remained virtually identical to our previous visit. Not necessarily a bad thing—unless you were hoping for something new. We started with the Brooklyn Burrata and the carpaccio. Both appetizers were outstanding: incredibly fresh, beautifully plated, and packed with flavor. The seasoning was spot-on, and the accompanying sauces added a creative and well-executed twist. It was a strong start that set the bar high. For our main courses, we ordered the crispy chicken and the roasted halibut. The chicken dish was overall a hit—crispy skin, tender and juicy meat—but it fell short on seasoning. A touch more salt would have elevated it from good to exceptional. The halibut came with an artful presentation, nestled among vibrant peas, but unfortunately, the flavor didn’t match the visuals. It was a bit bland and underwhelming despite its polished appearance. We also ordered a bottle of Ca’ Furlan Prosecco, which was fine—light and refreshing—but after a quick lookup, we discovered it retails for about $10. Being charged $56 for it left a bit of a sour taste. A 2–3x markup is standard in restaurants, but a 5x increase feels excessive and borderline exploitative. Service, on the other hand, was excellent. Attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the night. All in all, a mixed experience: high marks for presentation and appetizers, but the mains and drink pricing could use some fine-tuning. Would we return? Possibly—but we’d go in with managed expectations and maybe skip the wine list.

Reserved a table here for Saturday brunch. Patio outside was full and no one sitting inside at noon. The natural lighting is great here. Menu is interesting and prices are reasonable. (great value for money) Service is delightful.

I really liked this spot a lot for brunch. The food looked beautiful and was tasty. They take reservations and have both indoor and outdoor seating. We had the market plate, the Turkish eggs, and the banana bread to share.

I went to this restaurant for some lunch and a couple of cocktails. When I arrived, I had to circle the block a few times to find parking. I found parking about 10 minutes away. I walked into a cute restaurant. I was sat by the manager and Luis was my server, and he was good. I ordered from the lunch menu, the pumpkin gnocchi, and the Nashville chicken sandwich. For my cocktails, I got the espresso martini, which was really good, and the lemon drop martini, which was ok. The food came out, and I enjoyed the gnocchi. It was different as far as flavor but good. The Nashville chicken sandwich was good, just a little sticky. I definitely had a good experience!
