Chocolate Dip New York Reviews
The crêpe was pretty expensive, but damn it was huge and it was really good. It's definitely some thing if you have a smaller appetite, you could eat within two dessert meals. The place itself is small, so don't expect to stay there very long, but there is some seating, though it is limited.
This place is an amazing dessert spot! 🍫 Chocolate DIP 🫕 offers an fantastic selection of delicious 🤤 chocolate-covered fruit 🍍, crepes 🥞, and more! They have a Milk Chocolate 🥛 Fountain ⛲ and a White Chocolate ⬜ Fountain! Definitely get the Fruit Cup 🥤 filled with strawberries 🍓 and a mix of both milk and white chocolate! Staff 👨🍳 is friendly and the service is quick. ⏲️ The place is nicely decorated 🛋️ and they have some indoor seating. 🪑 I wish I came here sooner!
Chocolate Dip, located by the east village, is a place you must go to after dinner for chocolate cravings. Fresh made crepes, waffles, mini pancakes, dipped fruit sticks, are all dipped and drizzled in delicious Belgian chocolate. There’s a few tables by the beautifully decorated wall of flowers for you to enjoy their desserts made in front of your eyes. Crepes are made just right without being too crispy. Mini pancakes and strawberries drenched in chocolate is just perfect. Clean, fresh, and satisfying are the appropriate words to describe the experience at Chocolate Dip. Come get your chocolate fix!
Nothing like chocolate dip I get all my friends here who come to NYC Just get indulged in the Rich chocolate experience Marshmallow Chcolate dip , waffle dip, brownie crepe, lotus crepe etc etc list goes All of them are super amazing ! Do try this out if you visit the city or around the city !
Cute little store that churns out inventive desserts quickly! We tried the sushi banana roll and were surprised by the quantity and freshness of the crepe. Soft, warm crepes filled with sweet bananas, chocolate and whipped cream. Good option for a cheat day! Not much space indoors, so I expect it to get jam-packed like all the other stores along the street.
Came to this cute little place in the village this week and loved the concept. Got there at opening so we watched them turn on the fountains. There are plenty of waffles, fruits and crepes to choose from and white and regular chocolate to drip or drizzle. Everything is made right in front of you and made to order so it's all fresh. We had the waffle with ice cream and strawberries, bananas and pineapple drizzled with chocolate. Definitely stop by here and try it out! Open now with safety measures in place. Crepes are pretty good. The chocolate they use instead of Nutella is fairly basic, but it still satisfies a sweet tooth. The waffle stick and mini pancakes were tasty as well. Everything comes with the same chocolate topping.
This is definitely a great spot for a nice sweet treat. Giving 4 stars only because the to go packaging could have been better than the overt large plastic containers. The store is very small and gets packed quick, however, it moves pretty fast. The white chocolate is very sweet especially on the waffle. The waffle it self is very soft, probably the softest waffle I’ve ever had. The hazelnut spread is tasty as well. The only downside is it’s located in a very busy area. If you are driving there, plan to spend some time looking for parking, especially at night because they’re open til midnight. You also have the option to sit at the few tables inside but again it’s very small and gets packed. Give it a try though, I enjoyed mine and went back a few times.
6.5 / 10 Fruit was delicious the strawberries were ripe and sweet , the chocolate had a good flavor What doesn't work for me is that the chocolate used to dip the strawberries hardens immediately. I consider it a good chocolate for strawberries that are served on a stick or as decoration. I don't understand why they use the same consistency for fruit in a cup, since it hardens and it becomes very difficult to remove the fruit. I think melted chocolate would be a better option, as it stays creamy in the cup.
I had the waffle stick & the fruit stick with chocolate and vanilla chocolate and my son had an Oreo crepe with vanilla chocolate on it. Everything was delicious to me I will not lie and I did feel that the crepe $13 was the only item that was a reasonable price for what was given. The waffle stick was $9 and the fruit stick was $8. I just don’t feel like those two were reasonable prices for 6 strawberry’s on a stick with chocolate & 1 single waffle with chocolate on it. They may need to fix the AC in the establishment also, if it was on I didn’t feel it. The containers are so big and bulky, if you’re dining in something more like a plate should be given. The tables are too small for two or three of those containers. The service was good, we got our orders ASAP and the place is aesthetically pleasing. Most likely won’t be back but it was cute to experience.
I think this is a fine establishment if you are looking for a place with decent seating for a quick, sweet bite. I do think their prices are quite high for what you get. Desserts are almost $15 each, and they are a tad bit small. Quality is there, though. The food is good for whatever you get. I would recommend their waffles with chocolate if you do decide to visit.
Must have new owners because so much has changed since the last time I had it. Chocolate tastes quite mid, so not worth the price.. Cold/rude employees, no gorgeous chocolate dip packaging or bags. It’s lackluster and keeps a too loud poor choice of music. Sad to say it has lost its spark.
Inside the place is pretty and the staff was nice but the area it’s in is dirty so there were flies inside. It’s has a nice wall for instagram pictures and their chocolate taste good. I’m not a big crepe person but I wouldn’t go here twice. Their crepes basically taste like a thin soggy pancake with chocolate that’s over priced . I wouldn’t recommend going here at all.
