i saw this place on tiktok a while back and had put it on my list for my trip...so glad i did!!!! i had the breakfast burrito with turkey sausage and avocado and my mom got the cali burrito, we DEVOURED both. we came as soon as they opened and they were so friendly!!! if i'm ever back in LA i know where my first stop is gonna be.

Such a unique burger spot. They have a back area too for a more intimate sit down, and special shakes like tiramisu. The fresh squeezed orange juice is great as well. For food I’d recommend the wagyu burger for sure!!

Burgers99 is the kind of place you go after work to chill with a friend and just people watch for a bit. The double cheeseburger is a big boy; felt well worth the $12. The hot dog was a fun added something extra (mustard, pickles, and onions). Fries were okay; I ended up air frying the extras the next morning until they were dark and crispy, so maybe I’ll try and get ‘em well done next time round. Either way, rad spot.

Fries:Double Cheeseburger:Hickory Burger Delivered Damn. Burgers are amazing. Fries are good. Everything in each individual burger went well together. Love how the buns are not thick and allow for the beef flavor to stand out. I do not like dill. But their secret sauce is good. So is the Hickory sauce. Not too sweet. Bacon is thick and crispy. Adding Burger 99 to burger joints that I like. All with menus that are simple. With no frills burgers. The way it should be from a great burger joint.

BEST burgers in Los Angeles! I was so satisfied. Also, the French fries with the special sauce is a delight. A MUST!

This place seems to be pretty popular so I gave it a try. Low prices make this tasty burger even better. This is nothing more than a classic burger with no frills.

Delicious vegan burger at a fair price. Icing on the cake was playing Mario Kart 64 while we waited. P.S. I was Princess Peach. 💖

Food was excellent. Overpriced though, like everything in Cali.

Stopping by this burger spot is a tradition for me after I get my haircut nearby. Each time I’ve been, the food is always great, and I find myself so fascinated by the vintage decor, that waiting for my food is a pleasure! But my favorite part about visiting this shop is seeing the employee, Collin. He’s locked in and in the zone when handling multiple customer requests at once very quickly, while still providing excellent service. I was fascinated when I noticed this on my last visit. It’s been close to 2 weeks since my last haircut/visit to Burger99, yet he still crossed my mind enough to make me want to leave this review. I think that says something! I appreciate you Collin, and the great food + decor here! Looking forward to my next haircut, for more reasons than one 😁

Really solid burger spot. Today I tried the fried chicken sandwich and that might be my new go to! These guys are also the best - they offered to run my food out to me at my car because I was nervous about getting towed (watch out, those tow trucks come out right at 4 pm!!)

Look is it a Lil pricey sure it is. But you know what IDGAF i support my local business. I see street vendors taking up entire sidewalks, it makes me think about my LOCAL angelinos out here trying to run a business, so I support them 100% plus it was good very good, nice location, great atmosphere, friendly staff. P So come on in have a great burger. Support your local businesses.

Great burgers, great people, great vibes. Couldn't ask for anything more out of a burger joint. Also, Francisco and Olan are the best.

Today, obnoxiously loud obnoxious music. Ugh! This place reminds me of wacky 80s restaurants from the 80s because, guess what? There’s 80s kitsch in here. An ET tv tray and a rowdy Roddy piper action figure. I warn you, ignore these things or turn to stone. I love their double cheese burger without the sauce. Great fries! The burgers are tiny though. Tons of fries. The place is not really cool looking and the ambience at least today was god awful. They have outside seating but today the people watching was as uninteresting as can be. Meter parking in front.

A simple yet delicious burger with its garlic ranch-like sauce, which surprisingly matched with the burger. The Orange juice tasted fresh, which was a great refresher after eating a burger.

Nice stumble upon when I needed a burger. Excellent price and nice window view people watch ⌚️

Decent burgers. Closest thing it reminds me to is a fancier McDonald's burgerZ the service is somewhat slow, and working are not very interactive with guest. The restaurant itself is nice, I love the set up and decor.

in a simple term Burgers 99 was not bad but was not special. I feel as though at this price point you can more elsewhere. While the burgers were well made they lacked any uniqueness. I feel as though it's just below good. I had a cheeseburger, a hot dog, and a chicken sandwich. I think all were the same.

Burger was decent, but the bun is sub-par. Fries were ok but nothing to write home about. Shake was pretty good. But for a burger, fries, and a shake, $26 is way too much. Other LA burger shops like Goldburger and Burger She Wrote are much better. Probably won’t come back. Price to quality ratio just isn’t there

Decent version of McDonald’s with a homemade style. Solid burger, fried chicken sandwich needs more flavor.

The burger looked good but then I bit into it and it was just so bland. The patties hardly had any sear, the sauce was weak, the bun was mid, and all I could taste was raw onions and pickles. To make things worse, the fries were undercooked and anemic-looking and their lemonade was watered down too. For $23 | was expecting something decent but what I got was shear disappointment. I ended up tossing 1/3 of the burger and half the fries. This place is a hard pass, folks.

The burger itself is pretty good and has some decent spicing to it BUT I think the biggest crime this place is guilty of is NOT providing tap water for free. If you want to drink water with your salty burger, you need to pay over 4 bucks for a glass bottle. Are you kidding me? I've never experienced this at an establishment before and I was sure they were in violation of some city code, but no, apparently it is perfectly legal to deny your patrons free water. Legal? yes. Decent? Absolutely not. I would come back if it wasn't for the water situation but I can't support a business that has such a nasty policy in place - especially in LA when it's hot all the time. if I'm paying over $20 for a burger and fries, I think I'm deserving of a little water.

We got the burger, hot dog and fries. The burger was the double cheeseburger, which is something that I can easily say to avoid. The special sauce they have is terrible, it's like thousand island dressing mixed with cumin. The hot dog we got with grilled onions and was actually quite tasty. The fries were completely lackluster and not worth the time and effort to eat them.
