I checked out Levant Mediterranean Restaurant last weekend, and it was a pretty nice spot. The place has a chill vibe, kind of like stepping into a cozy Mediterranean hangout without all the fancy stuff. I went for their falafel and shawarma, and they didn’t disappoint. The falafel was crispy on the outside and nice and soft inside, perfect for munching. The shawarma was flavorful without being too intense, just the way I like it. I also tried their hummus, which was creamy and tasty, and the pita bread was fresh and warm. It’s nice when everything on the plate works together like a good team. The service was friendly and quick, no long waits or anything. The staff seemed to know what they were doing and were happy to help if you had any questions about the menu. The prices were reasonable too, which is always a plus when you’re out enjoying a meal. The decor had some cool Mediterranean touches that made the place feel welcoming without trying too hard. It wasn’t packed, so I could relax and actually enjoy my food without feeling rushed. If you’re into Mediterranean food and looking for a solid place to eat, Levant is definitely worth a visit. I’ll probably swing by again to try some other dishes or maybe bring a friend next time. It’s a good spot for a tasty meal without any fuss. Oh, yeah, and parking could be tricky since the restaurant is located right on a busy area of Hollywood Blvd. But plenty of metered parking around.

I really enjoyed this restaurant! I came for the lahmacun and it was truly delicious – full of flavor, even if the portion was a bit on the smaller side. I also tried the kebab and the seasoning was just right, very satisfying. To finish, I had the kunafeh for dessert and it honestly left me speechless – absolutely delightful! The restaurant is clean, the service was friendly and efficient, price are good, quality and the location is great. Parking can be a bit tricky (typical for Los Angeles), but it’s definitely worth the visit. I’ll be coming back for sure!

I have had a lot of Mediterranean food, especially in the Bay Area where there’s a lot of great spot but this place in LA absolutely blew me away. Hands down the best Mediterranean food I have had. Every dish was packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and felt incredibly fresh. You can really tell they care about the ingredients and the way everything is prepared. On top of that, the staff was genuinely warm and welcoming. They made the whole experience even better with their kindness and attention to detail. Fancy Restaurant with Reasonable Price; What a great time my friends and I had at this restaurant yesterday! The food truly blew us away. Seriously, as a dedicated meat enthusiast, I was incredibly impressed by how fresh and flavorful everything was. They thoughtfully provide fresh, warm bread right from the oven, which is a lovely touch. Be warned though, their dishes are massive! You'll definitely get your money's worth, but try not to over-order unless you're starving. We found the pricing to be quite fair, especially when stacked against other restaurants offering similar cuisine. I will definitely come back again.

Absolutely adored this restaurant. Tried some new-to-me dishes with the cold appetizer sampler. Ezme salad is so fresh and delicious, as was the octopus - tender and grilled to perfection.

Was craving kebab and muhammara so I searched and decided to give this place a go. Delicious food and nice staffs, the atmosphere & decor of the restaurant was cozy too I liked it. I thought I’d save up half of the kebab plate for later but I ended up eating all. The bread that came with muhammara was delicious too.

The ambiance is really nice here!! I am glad we checked this place out as we don't have many turkish options in San Diego. We loved the lentile soup!!! it is just like the ones in turkey. We got the adana kebab, i appreciated the charcoal taste, but still far from Adana kebab.. food portions are smaller, but good thing we ordered bunch of things and shared.. unfortunately they were out of tea which was a bummer for the addicte that i am..

Food quality is definitely worse than before. Service is terrible, I assume they didn't care about dine in customers because it's Monday. Also it took a long time to bring the food. Lahmacun is very good. Calling a customer from behind to pay 3 teas after the customer paid their bill with a generous tip is very rude. Especially after a long time not being attended. So please try to do better, I remember you were better before.

For our beef and chicken kebab plate, my friend asked if there's any wheat gluten, and our waitress mentioned the bugur has wheat while the rice doesn't. So all seems like all is well, but when we got our plate and we started eating, she discovered that there is a flat bread underneath, which does have wheat. This really alarmed her and because of what can happen to her, she had to force herself to throw up. Yes, that's how bad her condition is. To Obi's credit, he was overly gracious and apologetic (way more than our waitress), and he offered to have our dinner on the house. Unfortunately, more things fell through the cracks with service, and for a quiet Sunday night, things like water refill came out slowly, and they forgot both the hummus and our dessert kenafeh. It wasn't just our table since the table next to us also had a hard time getting the attention of our waitress who regularly had her back to the service floor. Finally, by the time my friend got her kebab plate, she already lost her appetite. We asked for the kenafeh dessert to be split in the to go box, and that's when my friend had to ask again if the kenafeh is gluten-free, and Obi wasn't sure, so he asked the other two waitresses. The one who was serving us shockingly said it's not gluten free, except when we first ordered at the beginning, she said it was gluten free, which is why we ordered it. She denied saying that even though both of clearly remembered that when we asked about each dessert. Not only that, but she rolled her eyes at us right in front of the manager. And that's when we just had to leave because now this has turned into a shouting match. It's one thing if someone doesn't know all the ingredients but of they are not sure about allergies, they should ask someone else. Service is such a critical part of any dining experience, and Levant did not do great. As for the food, it was alright. The babaganoush was probably the best thing, but the kebab was underseasoned, and for me, blandness is a Cardinal Sin.

Portion size was small. Beef sish kabab was chewy. Sandwich was very basic just filled with cheese. The server didn’t even came to refill the water. Had to call them for check. When they asked how was the food and we expressed that it was okay. Their response tone was more confronting than apologizing or understanding. Never coming back. Spend $60 for an entree and two appetizer. It sucks to leave a restaurant with empty stomach.
