Pieology Pizzeria Alhambra Reviews
I loved the girls who served us—especially Johana, she was wonderful! The 16” XL pizza 🍕 was absolutely delicious and big enough for all four of us (2 adults and 2 kids). I’d definitely recommend grabbing a pizza 🍕 if you get a chance to visit the Citadel Outlets in L.A.!
So yummy ! Cheesy and flavored we ate it all up !
It’s a fun make- your- own -pizza place but the service is kind of spotty. I’ve had really good and really bad service there. Not consistent but I love the customization & am always hungry for pizza while I’m shopping. Would recommend if they became more consistent with the service & food.
Great pizza place! It was my first time there and I ordered the thin dough pizza every pizza dough is made freshly made custom at what you would like to add on it. It then gets added all the ingredients you like and then it cooks I the wood oven while you wait! Definitely recommend it.
Amazing experience, they are so humble and lenient with the toppings Do ask for toppings on the Garlic Bread!
Great service, more importantly Alex, was a great gentlemen as far as assisting me with my order. Not only that but he also maintain his professionalism with a dificult client. He never lost his compulsure and was able to handdle the situation and also take care of my order, he is an important asset to your company. koodos to Alex, sometime the customer is not always right, and they dont realize that people that work at these places do a good job. He went beyond the call of dutty, great job buddy. !!!! keep up the good work
The young lady at the front named Naz was so kind and patient. I suffer from a learning disability, and she throughly answered my questions about the items on the menu. Great experience thanks to her, nobody ever has that kind of patience with me in public. Will be coming back :)
First of all, PIEOLOGY no lo get offers their FREE cinnamon bread sticks if you sign up online. The employee told me that they stopped doing this almost 6 months ago! Extremely misleading for the customer and the owner hasn't taken the sign down almost 6 months later, no bueno!!! Now let's talk about the food. The Butchers special, Spicy Italian and cheese bread are a rating of 7/10!!! CHANGE THE FREE CINNAMON STICKS OR CUSTOMERS WILL CHANGE THEIR DESTINATION FOR DINNER 😉
I recently visited Pieology and had a disappointing experience with the staff’s knowledge and customer service. Every question I asked—whether it was about menu options or the mobile app was met with an “I don’t know” response. It felt like no one was trained or informed enough to assist customers effectively. While the food itself was good, the lack of helpfulness from the employees made the overall experience frustrating. A little more training on the app, menu, and general customer interactions could make a big difference. Hopefully, this feedback helps improve service for future customers.
My experience wasn’t good this time. I could tell the cashier was impatient while checking our orders. Brownies and drinks are self-served if you get it. They also forgot our dressing, and we had to ask them for it. Pretty chaos just getting all the things we ordered. However, the most disappointing thing was that our two orders of pizzas and one calzone were all kinda burnt.
Pieology is a a pretty great pizza chain — I had it for my first time at the citadel outlets because they looked really good. It reminds me of Blaze Pizza — in terms of their kitchen and the way they firm their lines and make their pizza. I think pieology has slightly better quality crust than blaze, having tried both only once before and going off of my first impression. Pieology has two different kinds of crusts - thin crust and the thick raised crust, we got the fire grilled bbq chicken thin crust pizza this time. It was good - warm, fresh, oven heated and made on the spot. Honestly for a chain and outlet food court this was really good! There was a hiccup though — I asked for the pizza to not have bbq sauce, because I feel like bbq sauce tends to be overdone on the pizza and i prefer it with less and I didn’t want the pizza to be smeared with a ton of bbq sauce so I asked for none instead of ‘just a little’ to make the hassle less. I felt like this was a valid request and the lady who made my pizza said they could accommodate that which was nice. However after 10 minutes we went back the pizza had a bbq sauce on it; it was a little too much over the pizza (in my opinion) otherwise I would’ve just taken it. They said they could remake it for us but the guy who took back our pizza made a comment to the cashier and it made us uncomfortable because of the tone / attitude. They mentioned that the pizza clearly says ‘bbq chicken’ so of course there’d be bbq sauce, but I had specifically asked for no sauce. I think they were just annoyed but the exchange was really uncomfortable and did not give off the best customer service vibes. I understand their view point but it was overall just an awkward and uncomfortable situation and they did remake it but it influenced my review for this location specifically.
Amazing quick spot to eat a personal made pizza, been so good that I’ve been coming for a couple years now and have had no issues. Until my most recent visit where I was about to pay for meal and as I was going to leave a tip as always the young cashier explained that they no longer accept tips?? Excuse me upper management but these workers clearly aren’t making their dream income working here but they still come every day and provide the great service they do and make excellent pizza. So the least you could do as a owner or manager is give these employees their tip option. Seriously what type of establishment removes tipping options? You lose almost nothing but team moral and quality of work. Seriously self reflect on the decision you guys made on this one and see what the result is since you’ve done it.
I visited the Citadel location. I have never been this displeased this much. From the first person who opens the dough to the last person who cuts the pie were huffing and puffing, with long face, absolutely no smile. Non of the employees were wearing hair nets (including the ones with long hairs). When I was paying and the machine asked me for tips, I told the cashier I am tempted not to leave any because of the general attitude, he reached out to the machine and pressed "no tip" button with an attitude. I asked to speak with the manager. He was one of the persons on the line. When I started talking, he started rolling his eyes and tried to dismiss me. What a horrible customer service. It is not that the food was good enough for me to go and experience bad customer service again. Overall, it ruined my appetite to eat.
Why so stingy about the toppings quantity - when you allow unlimited toppings?
