So delicious and well done! I was very nervous to go to an Asian fusion restaurant but was absolutely blown away by Yang’s kitchen. They have a fantastic list of organic wines and a delicious menu of classic with a modern and up leveled ingredients. My husband and I ordered for dinner, the cha siu, salmon tartar, dan dan noodles, claypot mussels, the Japanese pudding and the swirl soft serve. Everything was delicious, nothing was a miss and the staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. I 100% would recommend this spot!

Interesting concept of Taiwanese fusion food. It’s like a tasting menu/shareable foods that you get with a modern twist. The food was really good. We got the dan dan noodles that were pretty delicious. I also recommend getting the Yang‘s fried chicken wings. That was really good. The service is really great as well very kind and friendly. The food came out pretty quick. The vibe and ambience is a little upscale and nice a little on the pricier side, but well worth the deal. Highly recommend if you’re looking for some Taiwanese fusion with a modern twist.

There’s a parking garage down the street, but the wait time is very long so be prepared. It’s definitely on the expensive side, but the interior is super aesthetic and the servers are really nice. The dishes themselves are simple but incredibly fresh and flavorful. What I ordered: Strawberry Smoothie (8/10): Really good, but very small for the price, so I probably wouldn’t order it again. Breakfast Plate (9/10): The hash brown is amazing and unique — crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Yang’s Set Meal (9/10): I got the steak and chicken; both were cooked perfectly. The only downside is the portion size is pretty small.

Got the breakfast plate with bacon and it was delicious. I also got the grilled platter with steak and it was so good. The vibes were great. Trendy spot that you would expect to be in echo park, silverlake, or Los Feliz.

Delicious food. It's a local farm to table concept. Every ingredient was fresh. We had the duck , persimmon salad and steak. All cooked perfect. Definitely a place to visit

Creative and fun dishes. Enjoyed the flavor and texture combinations. Tried their salmon tartare on the crispy rice cracker, and their cabbage wedge topped with a savory anchovy topping. Appreciated the East meets West integrations. Server let me sample their wine collab, but I opted for their mystery wine glass offering instead which ended up pairing better with my meal. Happy to have this unique restaurant that represents the best of my SGV.

Tried their brunch for the first time, and it will certainly not be the last time. We ordered a cornmeal mochi pancake, David's arroz caldo, and the breakfast plate. I was worried the pancake would be grainy, and while you can taste the cornmeal, it was good. My friend aptly pointed out the texture was similar to Ethiopian injera so it was light. The highlight though was the persimmon jam on top. The arroz caldo is (Filipino) congee, and it hit the spot, warm and soothing. For the breakfast plate, we went with (hangar) steak and eggs. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare. The scrambled eggs were soft and fluffy. That brick of hashed browns was crispy and light, which made us wonder if it was perhaps potatoes and jicama. It wasn't too busy when we arrived, but there was a wait when we were almost done. The service was overall good. They definitely rushed us at the end to free up the table but not to the point of being rude, so I still give them 5 stars on service. The seating isn't the most comfortable, and the tables felt a bit too close to other diners, but this isn't enough to keep me away from the amazing food.

A nice fusion restaurant offering lots of unique dishes that are both creative and delicious. They get super busy and only have reservations for dinner, be ready to wait during lunch time especially on weekends. The interior is very clean and staff very nice. The food is exceptional but on the smaller side in terms of portions. Everything was delicious and high quality.

The food here is so so good, allergy friendly and has seating outside. Nice staff and helpful with the menu. Went for breakfast and it was fantastic, the steak well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Well balanced plate of food, highly recommend, you need to come here!

A great restaurant. I took all of the servers recommendations -- steelhead belly aguachile, cha sui ( which I'd been just trying to get elsewhere earlier) and then I ordered the Dan Dan . Each one of these dishes that I got was a cravable dish. I thought of them a number of times since then they were perfectly done. Well balanced and just so great. The charcia was incredible and they had a mustard that was like a Wasabi that was just to die for so great. The Dan Dan noodles are so great because they were really high quality and brought out all the flavors and goodness of this usually lovely down and dirty food. They didn't lose the nature of it while they improved the quality. Last, and the dessert , the black sesame cake, was just incredible -- close to the carrot toffee cake I had in New Orleans. Sesame toast was just ok. I'll be back, maybe for brunch

If you’re in the area and feeling Chinese food, Yangs Kitchen does Asian fusion like no one else. It’s a must try for date night! I know I’ll be back! Literally everything we ordered was mouthwatering & we savored every last bite. Just dont get your car towed in the lot next door. . .

One of my favorite brunch spots anywhere. Great coffee. Breakfast plate with mochi pancake is great. But I would go an hour out of my way just down the smoked fish dip.

Overall, Yang’s Kitchen delivered. I now understand the hype. The food was delicious and flavorful, the staff were attentive and provided great service and the atmosphere was superb with the music they were playing in the background. The dish I recommend is the lamb curry. Never had anything like it and its 3 lamb shanks. Will be back and try their brunch and their burger night.

Yang’s Kitchen – A Hidden Gem in Alhambra I’ve had the pleasure of dining at Yang’s Kitchen for both brunch and dinner, and each visit has been exceptional. While it’s on the pricier side, the quality of ingredients and thoughtful preparation make it well worth it. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience feel warm and inviting rather than overly formal. Some standout dishes include the pork with spicy mustard, the crisp sugar snap peas, and the incredibly flavorful duck leg. The flan we had was exceptional too. Can’t wait to go back for their soft serve. If you’re looking for a spot that delivers elevated, unique dishes without the stiffness of a fine-dining restaurant, Yang’s Kitchen is the place to go. Highly recommend for both brunch and dinner! .

IMO, Yang's is the best farm-to-table option among Alhambra Main street restaurants, definitely in my top 3 of best restaurants in SGV! For reference on my taste, Jiang Nan Spring (also on Main Street) and Bistro Na on Las Tunas would probably be the other two on my list. The Yang restaurant menu and staff deserve five-stars and here are three reasons why I kept coming back! First, the Saturday Brunch I came here after an easy waterfall hike at Eaton Canyon in Pasadena. It took about 45 minutes to get a table for three, but we didn't mind the wait, which gave us time for a quick Starbucks caffeine fix. We ordered the Cornmeal Mochi Pancake, the Breakfast Plate with Dry-Aged Barramundi Fillet, and the Prawn Ceviche. Second, Monday Night Dinner I came back expecting to try a few dinner items, but it turned out to be burger night. It was a last-minute decision, so we didn't have reservations. We ended up waiting at the brewery next door. We got seated within the hour. Learning it was burger night with a limited menu, we ordered the Wagyu Burger, Pork Belly McRib, Fried Chicken, Salad, and Smashed Potatoes. Third Times the CHARM: Friday Night Dinner Proper planning on reservations and confirming menu options finally gave me the opportunity to try the Braised Duck Leg and Dry-Aged Fish Collar! We also ordered Hainan Fish Rice and Prawn Ceviche. While the two of us were stuffed, we had just enough room to indulge on their Black Sesame Cake and ordered a Flan to go! Overall, the various Barramundi Dry-Aged Fish entrees and the Prawn Ceviche were my favorites, but it's worth noting that I enjoyed all three meals for different reasons. More importantly, the mixed menu concept is exceptionally well executed. The fact that I drove to Alhambra three times over the last week is a true testament to this gem among Main Street restaurants!

It’s actually one of my favorite places for breakfast, everything was perfect. The food was so delicious. Staff were so nice and clean. I would definitely go back there. The only thing is you should try to get on waitlist before get there, to save time. I wish they had reservations but it worth it definitely to try!

I came for brunch on Sunday, and it was an amazing experience. I ordered the Yang’s Set Meal with the chicken thigh - the quality was so fresh and healthy. I also tried the smoked fish dip and the strawberry sorbet. I highly recommend this place if you want a variety of fusion selections for brunch. My server, Kai Huang, was also a great host. He exceeded my expectations of this place!

Very interesting concept with eye catching dishes for sure. This place was packed when we stopped by on a Sunday after lunch time and you could see all the great looking dishes other patrons were having. There were some interesting items on the menu too and piqued our interest, especially the chicken liver pate. The overall consensus of our table was that the food looked amazing and were great for photos, but the flavor was just mediocre. Most of the food was good, but some dishes tried a bit too hard to improve something that was already good. All in all still worth a try.

I recently visited this fusion Asian-inspired restaurant that seems to be THE hot spot in town even on a weekday, the place was packed. A reservation is a must, and they do have a $10 per person fee if you cancel or don’t show, so definitely plan ahead. One thing I wish I had known beforehand is that when making a reservation, you need to indicate whether you want a table or counter seating. We didn’t realize this, so we were seated at the counter. Since I’m in my third trimester, a backless barstool was not ideal for a full meal. Fortunately, the team offered me a regular chair, but it wasn’t the most comfortable setup, which made the experience less enjoyable than it could have been. On the positive side, the service was excellent. Friendly, attentive, and efficient. The food was fresh and flavorful, with a clear emphasis on seasonal ingredients sourced from local vendors. My husband especially enjoyed their beer and collar. I appreciated the quality of the dishes, but I’ll be honest while good, they didn’t feel particularly special compared to other spots in a similar price range. The standout for us was dessert. Their vanilla and melon sorbet swirl was absolutely delicious. Light, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. I’d honestly go back just for that. The atmosphere is casual, yet the pricing leans toward the higher end, which may not suit everyone. Overall, it’s a great spot for a casual night out with good service, fresh ingredients, and a dessert worth returning for. Also I heard good things about their brunch menu, so I do want to comeback for their brunch menu since my review was based on their dinner menu.

Went on a Saturday morning around 9:30am. Got seated right away. Line started outside around 10am. Food is good, portion a bit small. Def need to order a plate for each person. Pancake was very good. Two seater tables are a bit too close.

They required every member of our party to be present in order to be seated. We still had to wait for our seats even though we had booked, as the restaurant was full and packed. The space was small and cramped. It was very loud inside, as everyone had to talk over the noise, making it possible to clearly hear every conversation at the neighboring tables. The lighting was set to ambient/mood lighting with no natural daylight. The food tasted good and fresh, but it was not worth the price. The water provided in the bottle had a strange taste. I am writing this review months later because I felt I couldn’t accurately assess it until I had tried similar restaurants for comparison. On the day we visited, the street was blocked for a Chinese holiday-related event, making parking difficult to find.

Very brown, very mid. But if you come weekdays for brunch, there's a nice special that lets you try a variety of breakfast items. I would avoid the sausage, it was really dry. The hash brown brick was the best thing we had and we thought it tasted better after asking for ketchup than it did with the scallion ranch sauce. The sesame toast was strange, didn't seem like they used real butter. The persimmon jam (asked for this) was also too mild in flavor to discern what kind of fruit it was. We took our leftover wings home and next day put in the air fryer then tossed in sweet and sour sauce and they were still juicy! At the restaurant without sauce, they didn't have much flavor but tasted very clean. The cornmeal mochi pancakes were 100% better after we air fried them until the edges were crispy! Very kind staff but as for the food, I don't really understand why this place has such high ratings. Should we have gone for dinner instead? The upside was that we didn't leave in a food coma like one normally does after brunch.

The service and atmosphere is great. But when they used the word Asian fusion, I knew it is more like “American” Asia food. The food is all pretty bad and way overpriced! 1) the fried chicken $19 for 5 pieces, the chicken were dried and doesn’t have any taste? They have some salt and lemon aside but it is pretty much bland without it. 2) the fish collar, was undercook the server are nice enough to asked if we like it redone but we are almost done so we didn’t have them redo it. They removed it from the bill. It was not too flavorful as well… 3) the fish with hanian chicken rice. Recreate from the famous hanian chicken, the rice is pretty good and pretty authentic. But the fish…. I’m not sure how to describe it. It is again, tasteless and dried……. 4) duck leg with taro mash. Interesting dish but these two flavor doesn’t taste good together. The duck leg was fried the same way as the fried chicken. The taro mash is fine but is not worth $40. Overall I would say the service is good and attentive. But I wouldn’t be back for sure. The presentation of food, taste and price point is below average in my standard.
