I used the drive-through, and I was impressed!!! Typically, drive-throughs are quick, and there is not much interaction between the staff and customers, but I have to say my experience was different here. I was greeted with an excited tone over the microphone, and then met the gentleman at the window who reviewed my order with me, collected the payment and handed me the food with a big smile on his face. The food was excellent as expected. I would definitely go back to this location.

My name is mark Allison, I have been coming to El Pollo Loco here in Aliso Viejo at Pacific Park in Aliso I think for years. The level of happiness and even the individual that participate in conversation with me has been amazing the cashier or agent would you wanna call them? Is Evelyn who has been absolutely amazing and before I even walk through the door, I order is ready. That’s what good Customer Service. I really appreciate it and El Pollo Loco was a good shop.

This was my 1st visit to this particular location. At the register I was greeted with a welcoming smile by an attentive, super friendly staff member Amahni. She was polite and helped me making a decision pertaining to different combinations for my "to go" order for my family. For her excellent customer service skills I give her 10 out of 10. She's an asset to the company. Fresh ingredients, and the chef was grilling the chicken right in front of you. Not only that kitchen area was clean but the interior of the entire restaurant was clean, tables in the dinning area were tidy and the salsa bar stocked. The food was just as delicious as expected, grilled chicken was great! GOOD JOB.

Better food and sevice overall, improving, my note to management: Great job, please keep it up!! Previous note: I like El Pollo, but this branch, not so much! Often they mess up the order, sometimes the chicken taste old, like last night chicken they warmed up again, or half of breast is missing, not sure what's going on here. Not good.

El Pollo Loco is my go-to spot for delicious grilled chicken. The fire-grilled flavor is unbeatable — juicy, perfectly seasoned, and pairs so well with their fresh sides like rice, beans, and tortillas. Their bowls and salads are also great options when I want something lighter but still full of flavor.

Family wanted El pollo, went thru drive thru - got 2 soups - handed to me in a plastic bag laying down - asked for double bag - drove out and realized they forgot to put the chicken in the bag! Drove back thru Chipotle quesadilla was not great. Soup was good

Had chicken & shrimp tosada. The shrimp was small but tasty. The chicken was white meat cubes, cold & no flavor. Would not order again. Much prefer their flame grilled chicken plates. Will order from now own. This location is very quiet in early evening so fast.

Chips and dip was terrible and the chips not even cooked and this is how much chips I got. I hope the rest of the foods tasted better. My first time at this location.

Have ordered here for years and had few problems but on 8/15 at 5:53 pm I found salsa bar empty. Many of the containers not even in their slots in the bar. Didn't appear busy as there were only 3 customers who were about to leave. My order for 8 piece mixed and 2 rice sides, but I received 1 rice and 1 bean...unfortunately I didn't notice this until I arrived home. I saw a definite decline in organization and cleanliness since visiting a few weeks ago. Employees seemed to be more focused on yelling "Welcome" when a customer arrived, instead of maintaining the proper conditions in the restaurant to encourage customers to return.

The pico de Gallo was disgusting and sour, my pozole was old and you could tell nothing was fresh. I ordered through the app, went to pick up my food and it still wasn’t ready 20 minutes later. This location needs to to be inspected by the health department and employees need proper training. Never again!

I always liked this location until today. I ordered chicken Qusadia as always. When I came home, I noticed that the size of dish shrieked a lot. It looked really small as compared to my previous experience. Also, it was one tiny piece of chicken inside. It is horrible experience. I just was laughing loudly when I ate it.... how they can do it?
