IHOP Allen Reviews
The food was great and came out fast! Ashley J was all by herself working very hard. She had almost two areas of the restaurants full and still managed to interact in a kindly manner with everyone! Sad that no one came to help her out. Management needs to do better or pay more!!
The McKinney location was closed today due to construction. However, the server Ashley was extremely professional and handled the overwhelming number of customers gracefully. She was the only server and every single area was seated with customers. We all received superb customer service and our food in a timely manner . She truly deserved the tip she received. Happy Birthday again Ashley !!!!!
Ava was the best server I have ever had !! very attentive and so sweet
Fast service and our waitress was very kind and attentive.
Haleigh was an excellent server. I love her eyelashes
The food was fantastic, but special shout out to Laci, who is one of the best servers I've had in quite some time.
Hannah and Conrad were amazing. Very very very great experience. Love this place and will definitely return
Went here with my coworker for a quick bite and got the 2x2x2. They actually messed up my order at first—but props to the staff, they caught it themselves and fixed it before I even got my napkin in my lap. That kind of attention and speed honestly impressed me. Food was solid, service was on point. I’ll definitely be back. Savanna was our server. Very sweet
Ashley was managing the entire floor at 8:00 pm and did a fabulous job, smiling big all the time. Chris, the manager also does a great job. Two keepers.
What a fantastic service me and my friend got today! Haleigh was just great!!! I will be coming back
Never had a serious issue with this IHOP. Their hot chocolate is a little bit watery but the chicken fajita omelet was on point. I did try the Adam's family hot chocolate. If you like the taste of pink easter peeps in liquid form, be my guest. I honestly put it on the worst things I've endangered my taste buds with but that's definitely not this location's fault. Whoever at corporate made the executive decision to melt boogies and serve them on the menu, you deserve to be met outside at 3 o' clock after school. Outside of that, they have awesome kids specials!
Losha is an amazing waitress shes kind fun and caring she talked with us for a long time we love her
Ava was the best waitress I’ve ever had, she was so sweet and nice. 10 out of 10. Will definitely be coming back for her.
Came in this morning for a quick breakfast, restaurant was calm but the storm was brewing! Our server was Haleigh she had a BEAUTIFUL smile! She checked on us as the restaurant filled up quickly. She was either checking on us or other tables. She was so genuine and kind! Glad I had her as my server! 👻 Yeeyeedatdude
Haleigh was absolutely AMAZINNG!! From the moment we were seated, she made sure everything was perfect; our food came out quickly and tasted fantastic, we got fast refills for our drinks, and she gave off such a positive, welcoming vibe the entire time. On top of that, she is STUNNING inside and out. It was truly a 5-star experience 😌
Haleigh was our families server this morning, she had a full section and was still very attentive. She greeted us with a smile and a Good Morning! Our food came out hot and delicious 😋! Best experience at any IHOP hands down.
I had a great experience at IHOP thanks to our server Haleigh . She was super friendly, patient, and made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. She checked on us often, kept everything running smoothly, and had such a positive attitude the whole time. Our food came out exactly right, and her service honestly made the meal even better. You can tell she really cares about her job and her customers. I’ll definitely be coming back, service like that deserves recognition!
Got pancakes with eggs and honey, for a low price, delicious! Heylthy was very friendly, clean and nice soft music. defenetly recommend if you looking to save some money on your meals.
Our server Haleigh went above and beyond with the service today! She made my experience feel warm and welcoming on this stormy day!
It was great food and our waitress was very nice! Was a bit of a Long wait for food but they were trying to catch up after a big table can’t blame them for that. Me and my husband will probably be back!
Conrad and Hannah served us tonight and were an absolute treat. It was about 9pm and a table of 8 people, but they handled everything with big smiles and great attitudes! Our whole table was laughing with both of them and they joined us in our prayer over dinner. I’ve never had a better experience at an IHOP! Plus the food came out tasting great and my pancakes were fluffy!!
Hannah and Conrad were the absolute best. This was by far the greatest service experience I’ve ever had. They were super kind and helpful the entire visit! 10/10 would come back again.
Went to this location 10 minutes out of the way after going to the ihop around the corner from my house and not even being acknowledged after waiting inside 10 minutes. Wow what a different experience coming here! Phenomenal! I was immediately greeted when I walked in and helped then while waiting for my food i was taking to go i was acknowledged again to see if I needed anything! Absolutely you guys are doing it right!!! Great employees working hard on new years!! I definitely left a great tip well deserved! I never tip on a to go order but she took great care and it showed! I will definitely be back!
Haleigh was nothing short of amazing today. Very attentive in a full restaurant and on top of her tables. Thanks for the good food and great service!

75 and 380 location has good food and prompt service. No complaints. No surprises
When I entered around 1:15 PM, I waited about 5 minutes before anyone showed up to seat me, and she was on her cellphone before she showed up (I could see her walking around), and she stayed on the phone while she seated me and asked me if I wanted coffee or juice. And she stayed on her phone for at least 5 minutes longer after that. The lemon ricotta crepes were very delicious and flavorful. Nice presentation.
Slow and you could see distress in manager and staff. Only 3 tables in the restaurant. Food was slow but fantastic!
I visit this location mostly late dinner time during the week so that is my perspective. It's sad to see a business in decline. 2020 wasn't easy on restaurants either we know but this location has been in gradual decline for years now. I've been going to this IHOP since it opened here in Allen. The level of service and the atmosphere (especially in the evenings) has definitely gone down. 4 stars is for the good tasting food and food value because the menu is redesigned and the prices are very competitive and very reasonable. The limited-time happy hour $5-meal options available Mon-Fri until 10pm are a tremendous deal and more food for your money than fast food! That's a good thing. There are still some great servers there that make you feel at home and welcome like Mr. Ali but sadly most are not well trained as servers and don't have much experience or outgoing friendly personality. Experiencing the iconic IHOP from years ago with great servers and actual restaurant managers on site paying attention to details is something I miss. This creates atmosphere and atmosphere is part of what's missing, not just in this place but many others as well. I hope to see this location be cleaned more in detail and maybe they could play some soft background music to help the vibe. When Ali is working, he makes you feel like family and does an amazing job serving you with a smile and is very attentive even with a pep in his step. Other than that, recently it feels like a lot of adolescent unsupervised servers who may or may not realize they are coming across as if they don't want to be working at all and purposefully or unintentionally make you feel they don't want you there. "Welcome to IHOP" used to be the greeting upon arriving in years past, now they just look at you and grab a menu and start walking to a table. What a difference it makes to have an experienced manager or GM on duty, I could be wrong but during my visits I haven't seen a manager on the floor at this location in years. IHOP food is still way better than waffle house but it's getting to the point where waffle house is better service experience than IHOP. Brands/Corporate want consistency of experience, customers want that as well. To know what to expect beforehand and not wonder what the experience will be like this go round. Think of Chick-fil-A, they give you the same experience nearly 99.99% of the time. (Which is a high quality food and service experience with warm inviting polite attentiveness that makes you feel appreciated and makes you want to come back soon and often.) I imagine this IHOP location is owned by a franchise group that owns 1000s of restaurants and has tens of 1,000s of employees to deal with but it's just sad to see what used to be a vibrant IHOP location be in such decline. No hard feelings, I take the bitter with the sweet. I will still gladly eat at this location and tip well. I believe in being a good tiper no matter what. I'm not the type of person looking for an excuse to complain and be negative. I just wanted to share my perspective because I care and I miss seeing this place at its best. Some people may not be bothered by mediocrity but I am passionate about excellence so I may be expecting too much from the new 2021 "new normal" for restaurants but don't misunderstand, I am also greatfull for the countless good experiences I have had at this location in the past. That is also taken into consideration as to why I put 4 stars instead of 3 stars. I will update this review if warranted.
Took my kids to IHOP for the endless Pancakes - currently $5 for all the pancakes you care to enjoy (September 2024). A lot of the meals come with the endless Pancakes too, so if you're frugal you could get one of those, fill up on pancakes, and take your meal home. However, this is a sketchy plan. Most breakfast food isn't great leftover, and pancakes do not a full meal make, usually. Still, it's a pretty cool deal. My teenage daughter and I put away our fair share of pancakes. You're not heading to IHOP for a fancy breakfast. But for a quick bite, especially when traveling, it's not bad. Service was good, food was served hot and wasn't bad. It's good for the price. I wouldn't take a date here by any means, but for feeding the family on a lazy day or eating on a trip, it's perfect.
Wanted to start the weekend off with breakfast as a family. We were quickly seated, I did have concerns about our order coming out correct for a group of 5. Most of the food was accurate and the ex…
i been in the service industry 11 years and one of the 1st BIGGEST things i learned about the industry was HYGIENE!!!!!!! there’s no reason why i should be getting served my FOOD by someone that smells like an onion. sorry if that’s so rude but like seriously please stress to your servers personal hygiene.
It was maybe 9:00PM, almost empty...they were telling people to expect a 20 minute wait. Clearly understaffed that night...we left and are elsewhere.
Portions are shrinking. Prices higher. It seems as if it is losing it's scratch kitchen feel.
Quiet. Clean. Safety-conscious. Minimal staff and pared-down menu. Friendly employees, but the wait for food was long, especially considering how few customers there were. And even though the menu had been condensed, a couple featured items were still unavailable. I had to choose something else, but was happy with my second option. My dining companion, however, was dissatisfied; his food was cold and improperly cooked.
Savannah was AMAZING, kind and accommodating. The food was not appetizing or appealing (both tries). The eggs were scrambled hard ( I asked for soft) My 2nd set of eggs had hair in it ( I have no hair so it definitely was not mine). The food just seemed as if they rushed to cook it without worrying about its presentation. My best experience was having Savannah as my server. She is definitely the reason I will give them another chance in the near future.
This area was alright, but however something was a bit wrong, only if the area was more cleaner and the came out hot, I would have rated this an 4-5 such as, we all were eating food but we kept sme…
Our server wasn't attentive. We didnt get refills, one of my kids food came out way over cooked and he overall seemed very disinterested. He could have been having a bad time with something but whatever the issue was, the service unfortunately reflected it. We will not be returning.
The place could use a deep cleaning. Food was good. Service was good. But there was lots of litter outside, planter used as garbage can, dirty booths, dirty flatware, and all surfaces need a good cleaning. Wouldn't hurt for staff to dress up a bit.
Manager and Server need refresher course in Customer Service/Waiting on Tables: I was at this IHOP from 9-10:45 a.m. My sister and I had to meet a couple of clients this morning so we decided to go to breakfast at IHOP. We arrived and got seated fairly quick. There were not but a couple of people in the whole restaurant. My sister had to talk with her clients privately so I sat at a table by myself across and diagonal from her with my laptop so I could do some work while she conferred with them. The server brought our coffee and took our orders very promptly and our food arrived in a timely manner and mine was great! Hence the 2 stars. I had hash browns, crispy, with onions, mushrooms and cheese added and they were awesome! Afterwards, RIGHT AFTER the food came out, she checked once to see how everything was, I was still good on coffee. (half full). Halfway thru my hash browns, I needed a refill. I put my coffee mug at the edge of the table and waited...and waited...and waited for the server to come by. I tried to catch her attention while she was at her computer/wait station behind me, but she had her back turned to me the entire time. When she went back to another table, I still could not catch her attention (tunnel vision, maybe 🙄😒). Finally, I got the Manager's attention and he refilled my mug. After I finished that, I was there for the next 45-50 minutes and never could get a refill...therefore, I went and got my YETI out of the car (which was about half full of coffee still) and just drank my own ($2.59 for coffee and you only get ONE REFILL, IHOP is banking some serious money on coffee...off dummies like me that pay $2.59 for what, an 8, maybe 10 oz mug of coffee!?!?!?). Now, not that servers should judge (I spent the majority of my working life in the service/retail business), but we, my sister and I, DO tip for taking up a server's table, although there were plenty of tables available this morning. So, I thought, if I paid, she would come refill my coffee. She came by and snatched up my card real quick and moved on her way. I tried to tell her the that I needed coffee. My sister stopped her and told her she was paying for mine and she dropped off my card and never came back to check on me. She did come back to check on my sister (maybe because she handed the server the card and paid🤷♀️, IDK) and she brought my sister and her clients some ice water. She just totally ignored me for rest of the time, didn't ask if I needed anymore coffee, didn't check to see if I was ok, etc. Guess I didn't want any dessert to go with that coffee I didn't get 🙄😥😒 The Manager wasn't even checking on his guests. When I was a restaurant Manager, I always walked the floors to see if my customers were alright, making sure they didn't need anything. Very disappointed IHOP. Very disappointed.
Lack of staff and food was greasy. It took an hour and 30 minutes just to get some eggs for me and my wife and daughter. Yes they have a sign says they are hiring. They need staff badly. I think if they get staff and a good cook they’ll be great
Stopped here while waiting for post op with eye dr. Person who waited on us seemed more concerned about customers he had already taken orders from. Asked several times for water and someone eventually helped us. Food was ok servings seemed small. Personally I will not be returning. Didn't seem concerned about whether ticket was paid. We finally got someone to take our money. Hope your experience will have a better outcome.

I ordered the original stack of 3 pancakes for 7.99. I got a 3 stack that may have been mistaken for the side order that comes with egg platter; they were small.
I really hate this place has gone down as bad as it has. Everyone that works there at night, seems to be on some kind of drug or alcohol high. Dirty clothes, no type of uniform or apron. It took 1 …
2 tables and 5 servers. All ignored customers and kept disappearing in the back. Nobody bothered to seat us or take order. We left after waiting 15 minutes at the door. \n\n0 star if i could give.

This place is pretty awful. It took a while for them to seat us when the "restaurant" was basically empty. The waitress took forever to get our drinks even though there were only two other parties …
After sitting for 10-15 minutes finally got a high chair for my 1 year old and to say it was nasty would be nice. We still hadn’t even been asked our drink order. My son and I got up and left and wil…
My children wanted pancakes from IHOP so we went to this location as it was the nearest to us while running errands in Allen. They had the worst service. There was no one to check in with at the front. We waited for quite some time and no one acknowledged us. The party there before us had the same experience so they left shortly after we arrived. There were only a few families seated so the restaurant was nearly empty. I finally caught the waitress’ attention and asked her if it was self-seating and she responded, “no, kitchen is backed up and tables are dirty.” After that, we were ignored again. We finally left and drove a few miles north to the McKinney location. We will never visit that location again.
I was just there and the hostess along with the waiters seem like they hated their jobs. Especially the hostess... We formed a line and were there for 10 minutes or so. But she didn't acknowledge us or even let us know they will be right with us. The only worker I seen from a distance was the manager that actually seemed to enjoy his job. We ended up just leaving because we weren't acknowledged. We went to the Plano one, and we were instantly greeted along with an ETA. Do yourself a favor and go 5 minutes down the road to the Plano location!. It's cleaner, prompt, and courteous!. This is the WORST LOCATION!!!!...
This only applies to pick up orders. The food is good but only if you have time to waste waiting. I had to wait 20+ minutes after being told my order was almost done then the server tells me that wasn't my order and apparently they never started it. This is the 2nd time this has happened and 3 different groups got seated and got food before I even got a glimpse of my order.
You would think when there is a waiting list, the waiting list would be called upon to sit customers who have been waiting 30+ mins. However the waitresses response was well you should speak up. She then goes saying she doesn’t use the list because names don’t get crossed off. There is nothing stopping her from calling names and crossing them off herself if no one responds after a few call outs. Just because your busy and short staff doesn’t mean the families waiting need to wait longer as people walking in immediately gets seated.
This place only got one star because of the waiter Janya! She turned my experience around and made us feel more comfortable than the hostess/waiter did. The hostess was rude and condescending, we came in before other patrons and was told it would be a 10min wait. Two other parties(Caucasian) came in after us and were seated immediately. We asked if we can get an open table on the other side and she said “that’s not my side” and proceeded to walk away while we were still trying to converse with her. After having another party seated, we asked to speak with the manager about her behavior and demeanor she the said “he’s waiting tables right now” and walks away again, then Janya comes up and we asked to be seated anywhere as it is becoming way past 20mins and with one side of the restaurant empty. She politely said “let me go see if we have some tables ready in my section and I’ll seat you right away” she came back in less than 2mins and grabbed my party. To be fair, we were not the only party that had an issue with the hostess/waiter, it was several parties complaining about her and her rudeness. While Janya tried her best to improve our experience, it was beyond her control as the kitchen was backed up, and the manager was also waiting tables. We were as patient as possible, however, we should not have to deal with that type of attitude in a family atmosphere. Needless to say we ended up getting our food 45mins later and nothing I ordered was correct due to the kitchen staff. Janay apologized and did what she could. I would never return here with either me or my family and friends especially if the hostess/waiter is still there. They also said they will not get rid of her after having several complaints about her being rude and racist, because she has been there a long time and knows what she is doing.
My daughter and I walked in here on a Wed morning 6/4/25 at 11 am. Our first time at this location. No one greeted us. We stood at the front for 10 mins waited to be seated. The staff saw us but no one acknowledge us. We left and went to the ihop on plano parkway and was seated right away!
Went to this IHOP for my nephew's graduation. Got denied service and turned away cuz the server and manager was overwhelmed with three tables. A two top a seven top and 8 top. I previously waited tables at and managed a IHOP for 10 years. Never denied service to anyone not one time.
No silverware, syrup, jelly etc with a uber eats order. Call to see if they can bring it. Been on hold 5 minutes. We give up. The general manager should be ashamed.
will take an hour and a half to make your food, give you the wrong order, then when you call to speak to someone they’ll hang up on you after being on hold for 10 minutes.
I walked in and many other people waited for service as well, I wasn't greated by anyone and my agitated customers. The staff stood around talking with eachother.I wouldn't recommend coming here, the staff is just lazy and chatty with eachother and don't care about customers. Before we even sat down a few of the staff members sat down with three plates of food , and had the staff wasn't in uniform. They are very unprofessional and could care less about us. I wouldn't recommend coming here...
Horrible service, placed an order for French Fries, the lady told me 15 minutes, I came back after 20 minutes she said another 15 minutes, they were not even busy, then she lied to me saying they are baging up the order, took another 10 minutes, atleast be honest to the customers.
Hands down The Worst IHOP in Texas !!! “Stay away from this location” Service is slow slow slow !!! Food came out cold, and not all at the same time, silverware was dirty, Terrible dining experience !!!
I ordered curbside pick up through the website and the problems started there. If your ordering online, dont expect curbside pick up. I never received confirmation that the food was done (i always assume the time is an estimate) so i headed up there at 11 and theres no curbside pick up spots, like mentioned in the email, so i just picked a parking spot. I called them twice and both times it was automatically forwarded to a voice message that hangs up on you. So i had to go in. They had 3 orders at the front desk, no drinks. I give her my name and she hands me my food but no drinks. So i ask her for them and she hands me 2 small cups not much taller than a salt/pepper shaker. So i paid almost 3 dollars each for a McDonald's size small drink. I get home and noticed the food isnt hot. I continued and my kids happy face pancakes had no happy face. They charge slightly more for these pancakes, im assuming, because of the happy face on it. They provided whipped cream and very little chocolate chips but no cherries to make the eyes. My kids were kind of sad but moving on to my food, it looks pathetic. My strawberry banana pancakes, had no bananas cooked inside the pancakes. It was literally pancakes i could make at home. If you want ihop, i dont recommended ordering to-go. I tried calling customer service and the number given was for Applebee's customer service. Which is only open monday through friday.
Have never had a to-go order ready anywhere close to on time. I wish my kids hated this place as much as I do so I’d never be asked to come back
I came with my wife and 2 year old child and the service was great but when it came time to order I waited 5 mins for food to come out cold would not recommend going back to this location
Lady that works at night in the white and black jacket and glasses is the rudest person EVER!! Doesn’t speak, gives you dirty looks when you come in, not even remotely helpful at all!! If you see her when you walk in turn around and leave!! Save yourself the trouble of dealing with her!!
I live in Allen and I regularly go to ihop on my travels Well went to the one in Allen Texas off 75 and exchange Went in side Lady came up said what don you want to drink I was like wow rude I said coffee And I told her I already knew what I want to order She said ok let me get the coffee walked away I sat there for prob 10 minutes while she went over playing on her phone There was only one other customer in there I thought that’s funny all the ihops I go to are very busy So now 15 minutes goes by and she is still playing on her phone Then I noticed the place stunk like extremely old grease So I started looking around I noticed for a place with only me and 1 other customer there where about 7 tables with dishes from past customers on them Looked at the floor didn’t look like a vacuum been on it in days Dirty dirty I got up walked out This place is the dirtiest nastiest ihop I ever been to with the worst service ever And where I live and Allen is a more upper class town of Dallas I advise you do not go here you will prob get sick from how dirty it is and the nasty stink of it This was on 09/06/25 around 2:30 pm Waitress black girl with giant lashes This place should be shut down Due to I live here I’ll be on the phone with the health department this week Needs inspected and shut down due to many many health violations One waitresss was all I saw and she was the ruddiest I’ve felt with I travel for business and regularly go to ihops all over the country This is the worst place of any franchise restaurant of any kind I’ve ever been to
We came to the IHOP in Plano off 75. It was definitely busier than your location (Allen off 75), and I can see why. After watching three different families who arrived after us get seated and helped, I got up and let one of your servers know we had been waiting while others were being taken care of. When I said “you” I was referring to your brand, not that specific server. Her response of “I haven’t been out here” completely missed the point. After that answer, it was clear we were not welcome, so we walked out. As I’m writing this, I’ve already received my food at IHOP. I left your restaurant by 10:32.
I came in tonight doing Ubereats, waited for someone to come to the front because no one was up there. Finally, someone comes out, she asks " how can I help you?" I got up and started to say "I'm picking up fo-" and was completely cut off with "pickup orders are in the cubby and she walked off pointing at the cubby." Was the place super busy? No. Did someone call her for help? No. She just walked off. "Cindy," is it? Learn how to listen and wait for a response, not cut someone off mid sentence. I went back and asked for her name and left because I don't normally have that kind of experience at Ihop but here we are. It threw me completely off. Cindy, I hope you're kinder to others that come into this establishment. God Bless.
We arrived and the restaurant had about 4 tables occupied. We waited over 30 minutes, asked when our order was going to be ready and the waitress replied '15-20 more minutes'. We had our children with us, it was 9p and we couldn't wait any longer. We let the waitress know we had to leave and she brought our tickets for 3 drinks. Very disappointed.
Service was very slow. It was only one waitress. She was greeting, seating people, taking their order, getting them drinks all by herself. We received the wrong food, it was made different how we asked to be cooked, but we didn't say anything to the waitress because she was so busy and the waiting of the food took to long..The restaurant was very dirty, the bathroom was extremely bad,the toilet was full of 💩 and it smelled so badly, floors dirty etc.. With the service provided, I won't be back. The restaurant does need a good cleaning and a better service.
If you want to eat within a mold infested establishment, then this is your place. It’s absolutely disgusting
The most disgusting ihop I have ever been in, too 25 min just to get water the waitress never even said who she was nothing just “you ready to order” Floors were DISGUSTING!!! Went to take my 3 & 5 year old to the bathroom & there was pills on the floor.
Just this morning my team and I went to get breakfast here, shortly after getting our food my teammates were finding hair in their food, with one even finding a finger nail. Being utterly shocked myself I stopped eating with fear of finding something in my own food. Some of our teammates food were cold as soon as receiving it. Never going to this location again.
It's the second time we've attended this location, it's extremely dirty with food all over the floor and tables. They seem to "run out" of vegetables both times we went. They took so long to serve us despite their barely being any customers. Will not be returning.
I placed and payed for an order of burger and fries online. At 3:13am in the morning. My food was supposed to be ready at 3:28am. I got there at 3:25am and the restaurant was closed. They had a sign that read "We're Closed until 6am" So they charged me for the food I ordered. That's supposed to be ready at 3:28am. But they are closed till 6am. But i won't be able to come to the restaurant at 6am. Because my work starts at 5am. If you're not gonna be open. Don't take orders and/or payments until you are open.
This is the worst IHOP Restaurant I’ve visit. My table faced the kitchen and, what I saw was very disgusting. The waitress took my pancakes with her hands and move them from one plate to another, the kitchen staff were talking over the food, my omelette had a strong raw egg smell, the hashbrown tasted very rancid and it was greasy. The coffee was cold and the brew quality was less than credible. Also, while I was having my breakfast, suddenly, the waitress decided to clean the table next to mine, using a very strong smell cleaning product. I don’t recommend this place, everything was a very poor experience. Don’t waste your money!!
Get your act together IHOP. Two days in a row I tried to eat here and two days in a row I’ve given up because they don’t have enough staff. The ones that are here are doing their best, but when you have a restaurant full of people and only 2 servers, you’re going to have a bad time. So, decided to give them one more chance. Got a table and placed my order. Then this happened. Lipstick on my coffee cup? Not even my shade!🤣 Terrible management. Food was good, but the service suffered because of terrible management.
It's not busy and they take more than 30 minutes for our 2 entrees and we heard servers complaining about not getting tipped not very professional. Plus only check on us once in 30 min
My family and I walked in at around 7:30 am, prime breakfast time. First off, the entire place smelled like chlorine. You could have confused it for an indoor swimming pool. The reason for this was they were mopping the floors right then with a heavy chlorine cleaner. On top of that, there was still trash all over the floor. I’m not sure why anyone would mop BEFORE vacuuming, but I guess they don’t train anyone here. Most of the tables were dirty. Our table was sticky. Food was mediocre, mostly because it tasted like chlorine… because they were mopping the floors with enough chlorine to violate the Geneva Treaty on chemical weapons. Coffee tasted like someone splashed cheap rubbing alcohol in it. My wife and I couldn’t finish it. Service was ok. We needed a high chair, but the safety buckle was broken. And yes, the high chair was filthy. We won’t be going back.
Workers were really rude. When we walked out of the restaurant after only tipping 5$ because the service was horrible. They came up to us at our car and started screaming at us. Never had a more worse experience than this.
we were not even attended after sitting about 15 minutes. I left letting know the host at the entrance and she couldn't have cared less. I guess to be able to say bad service, you need to be served!! No service should be more appropriate..!!
Most racist place I went in last night and this place suppose to be open 24/7 was told that they were not going to attend us. There was other people being attended “CHAPTER 21 OF TEXAS LABOR “STATES THAT Racism in employment is primarily prohibited by Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964
Staff was very unprofessional and rude, talked shit about my friend loud enough where you can hear it through the whole building, server couldn't even bring out the right food, gave us another tables food not once but twice... I would never suggest this place to my worst enemy... They don't even deserve the one star that I have to give them just to be able to post this
It took FOREVER for our drinks and food to come out when we ordered. (Over an hour) When it came out they had our order wrong and it took forever (an hour) for the food to come out again. We had finished our food before it came out and it was cold by the time it got to us. The people next to us had the same. The restaurant was not packed during our experience. Wouldn’t recommend :(
Came in at 12 the family that was behind me was eating almost done an elderly couple came in ordered had their food. Sad when someone looks like you and treat you disgusting. I’ll take my 15 tip elsewhere 🤷🏾♀️ Decided to travel to Plano, was served by Gabby and it was exceptional. She was tipped 20 dollars. Allen do better your location is going horribly now.
Not an option for 0 stars, but host denied to seat us, and told us to have a good night …. They were serving people and this location is open 24/7
first time going yesterday won’t be going back talk black waitress never acknowledged our table after going to his tables multiple times to speak nor for drinks. Had to ask the nice host could we get another server, after getting another server which was nice the ceiling started leaking on my husband. We were finally moved to another table where the food came out cold will not be returning at all worst experience
We were just here but we are leaving ! Hungry! We were seated quickly which was nice but we were ignored for 20 minutes by the waitress ! We have never had such a terrible experience and were very disappointed ! She came out multiple times serving other tables LOOKING AT US but couldn’t come greet us and take drink orders . We are more than understanding and patience if it’s busy but that was not the case . But even if you are busy, it takes 5 seconds to let someone know and most of the time you’re met with understanding. We were forced to leave as we have other places to be ! Won’t be returning!
Hello, I am writing to formally report a very disappointing experience I had with a to-go order placed on Christmas Day, 12/25/25. I placed my order at 12:35 PM, with a quoted completion time of 1:00 PM. I arrived at the restaurant around 1:10 PM and was greeted by the hostesses at the front, including Destiny. Both hostesses were extremely polite, helpful, and professional throughout the entire situation. I was advised to check the pickup shelf and was informed that the kitchen was running over an hour behind. I was asked to take a seat and wait, which I did, fully understanding that it was a holiday and that the restaurant was busy. At one point, a member of management addressed the guests and announced that the kitchen was behind, that there was only one person working on online orders, and that everyone needed to be patient. The employee handling the to-go orders remained professional and apologetic while clearly being overwhelmed and receiving no assistance. I waited patiently for over an hour beyond the quoted pickup time. Around 2:05 PM, with still no indication that my order would be ready, I asked to speak with a manager. The hostess notified a manager named Ashley. Ashley responded by saying that guests would “just have to be patient and get over it” and stated that refunds could not be issued. I was told that I would have to cancel the order through the app, but because the order had already been marked as completed, a refund was not possible. This interaction was handled extremely unprofessionally. There was no empathy, no attempt to resolve the issue, and no accountability taken for the excessive delay. Eventually, one of the hostesses was able to locate a different manager who took my name and phone number and told me I might receive a refund within 3–5 business days. At that point, I left without my food, as there was no clear resolution or estimated completion time. I want to emphasize that the host staff and the employee working the to-go orders handled themselves professionally under very difficult circumstances. The issue lies entirely with the management’s response, which was dismissive, rude, and unacceptable. This experience was extremely disappointing, especially on a holiday, and I believe it reflects poorly on how customer concerns are handled. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and that steps are taken to improve both management training and guest communication moving forward. Thank you for your time.
Waiting makes sense since everyone wants breakfast on a Sunday morning. But attending tables that came way after you is on a whole different lvl. Not gonna pull the racist card cuz my mom raised me right, but 3 servers did pass our table of 5 and neither of them had the nerve to ask if we’ve even been asked for drinks after almost 30 min.
We went to this ihop on a Saturday night with our kids because they wanted pancakes for dinner. I want to preface this by saying that I understand that a Saturday night at a breakfast place is not your ideal rush shift. (There was actually only one other party seated besides us in the whole restaurant) But the place was severely understaffed, under-maintained and under-managed- and it showed. We entered and stood for a few minutes before needing to get a server’s attention to be seated because nobody came over. Then when we sat, we ordered our food and waited 40 minutes before asking a server to check on the kids meals, because they were getting restless. Meanwhile - we watched 4 “to-go” orders come out before even receiving our appetizers. Our appetizer comes out next- but we needed to ask for plates to eat on, and then had to ask twice for napkins and silverware to eat with. Then the kids’ food came out- we ordered a buttermilk pancake and got an all chocolate pancake. Thankfully my kid loves chocolate so we let it slide but he could not finish it as it was just too rich. Then my husband’s meal came out. It was supposed to come with an over easy egg, hashbrowns and bacon. He got none of that. Then when he asked for his side dishes- he received a very buttery, oily pile of hard scrambled eggs. Finally my food came out. It was delicious and well made- but it was missing one of the dipping sauces. The place was dirty- water stains on the ceiling tiles, bathroom unkept, and ripped cushions on booths. As we walked out, we realized that there was a sign that said “kids eat free everyday 4:00-10:00”. Wish someone would have told us that when we were in there, since we had two kids meals that we paid full price for. There seemed to be a manager in there who was very preoccupied with the “to-go” orders. He didn’t once come out to check on us or apologize for the wait or anything. The server was nice and kind. Overall, a bad experience. We will not be returning.
I love IHOP and they never disappoint, but the food was not good at all!!! Our server Vanessa was great, she was so sweet! But the people who worked at this IHOP, were very childish, you can hear the whole conversation, and they were playing around too much, I understand it’s young kids, but at the end of the day you’re supposed to be working and respect others. Definitely wouldn’t recommend coming here!
Would not recommend. From the moment we walked in we could smell the sewer back up. There is mold in the vents , and a ridiculous amount of water spots on the ceiling panels. Floors are dirty and booths are sticky to the touch! All but one of their workers seemed to loathe their job. Dishes weren’t returned to the kitchen in stead servers piled them up on a table. Not to mention the poor attitudes that we experienced. We wanted pancakes instead of waffles, but we should have went to Waffle House. It’s cleaner and has better service.
❌MOLD❌. I AM NEVER GOING BACK TO THIS PLACE! You don’t want to eat in an incredible TOXIC environment. This place is full of mold in all of the AC vents. The service was horrible, the waitress took forever to go to out table, my husband got and omelette that was a joke it didn’t had anything inside just some ham and cheese on top, coffe was cold, we had to keep asking for forks, straws. Totally NOT worth it for a $90 check.
