Olive Garden is always an excellent place to bring a large group - especially with small children - and keep everyone happy with tons of soup, salad, and bread sticks. We came for Veteran's Day and enjoyed the free meal they offered as a salute to those who served- thanks Olive Garden! From one Olive Garden to another, the food, and atmosphere is consistently pretty good. Here, it's top notch, and the service during our visits has always been good as well. If you like Italian food and want a good place to feed a family, this is a fantastic choice. It's not fine dining, but it's a good place to go, and I've never been disappointed. Definitely recommend.

This is the best Olive Garden we have ever been to. We had a nice service beginning with an upfront apology by the manager in case they get late as they have many guest ,however they didn't which was great! I had calamar as an appetizer which taste way too good! Their pasta options are worth to try! Love it here!

On August 29, 2024, Marcus went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was fantastic. His exceptional customer service skills, attentiveness, and friendly demeanor made us feel truly valued as customers. He was knowledgeable about the menu and even shared some enjoyable moments with us. I would highly recommend this location to everyone and look forward to returning soon.

Our server Yami was great, we came in about 1.5 hours before closing nonetheless she was so friendly and kind during our visit. She was also very attentive to our refills! Would request her on our next visit. And like always the food was delicious!

My daughters and I came in during lunchtime on a Friday afternoon and we were served by Shannon B. She was an exceptional server! From the beginning she was very helpful and personable, and she kept that same energy our entire time. Even my daughters kept telling me how nice she was when we left the restaurant. The hostess was pleasant as well as the other servers and dining room attendants. The manager came out as well to greet and thank the guests, which is something you don't see often. We are very pleased with our decision to choose this Olive Garden location. Thank you again Shannon for the great experience!

There were a couple of mosquitos that were annoying and a smell of cheese that was way past the point of pleasant. Other than that, this location has good ambiance that is clean and comfortable. The soups were too salty to be considered healthy, but they were all quite tasty. The service was the outstanding and the main reason my visit was an exceptional experience. Kevin took good care of us and was extremely polite and friendly.

The food was great. And the waiter was fantastic. He checked on us often and was very friendly. I say he went above and beyond. I can't remember his name but he has only worked there for about a month. I had brought my 90 year old mother for an early valentine dinner on Tuesday about 4ish. She was very happy with him also. I sure hope you can figure out which waiter he was because he deserves recognition.

It's a convenient location off the highway and close to many shops. never ending pasta was it. Was filled after some soup and the server lady helped pack leftover to take back to the hotel

Update: The limited time offer of the Ravioli di Portabella is not the one that was served years ago. The taste is not pleasant at all. It has more of a vodka sauce as opposed to the original. This time around, I would suggest skipping. Wonderful waitstaff and always great cuisine.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this Olive Garden; From entrance to exit. I was greeted upon entry and the smell of the place was very pleasant and the staff is very nice(the kind of staff that enjoys their job and kind of makes you want to work there as well). My server was Cabrina; I enjoyed having intellectual conversation with her as I had a few drinks and some breadsticks. I highly recommend this olive garden! The service here was outstanding. It’s a rainy, slow night and one of the gals let the guy in the bar I was headed there to place my order. This is the 2nd time I’ve gotten take out from this one and their process assured you have everything correct. Love that! I like to enjoy a glass of wine and ordering from the full menu. It bugs me to give my credit card info over the phone too. Good spot for families or just a predictably good meal with their famous salad and breadsticks.

It's nice to step away from the sports bar ambiance now and then. For an Italian chain Olive Garden offers consistently good meal options including pastas, soups, and of course their tasty salad. I will say on my last visit a hair found its way into my lasagna. Fortunately, my observant waitress discovered that upon delivering the dish to my table, and quickly rectified the situation, while apologizing profusely. I'm reminded of a (now kind of funny), event when I found a cockroach in my partially eaten cheese enchilada at a local Pancho's Mexican Buffet. I still remember the waitress looking like 'well we don't charge extra for that, what's the problem'. Needless to say, the manager tried his best to make amends. And sadly, most of the Pancho's have now closed down in this area. Watch yourself out there it's rough. However, OG is still good to go!

We haven't been to an Olive Garden in a while but hasn't been too long to recognize the entree portions unfortunately have gotten a lot smaller, esp for Tour of Italy. The portion sizes of the Chicken Parmesan, the Lasagna, and Fettuccine Alfredo are now about 1/2 of what they used to be. All restaurants are doing whatever it takes and it's just unfortunate. But atleast all 3 still had pretty good taste, just not as good as we remember:(. The Calamari wasn't very good this round as it definitely wasn't fresh. The Fried Cheese was ok as the marinara sauce was also bland and not as fresh as it has been in the past. Hostesses and waitresses continue to be excellent as always. Their signature salad and bread sticks were still amazing as always. Still a place I'd recommend for a good Italian meal, just hoping our next visit is greeted with fresher ingredients as before.

I've been to many Olive Gardens in the past, and I have to say that this one had a really nice aesthetic to it. The food was okay, I feel like the whole company itself has kinda downgraded with the food quality but it hasn't reaches rock bottom yet. For my daughter's birthday lunch, we chose to dine at her favorite spot. She was delighted with her choice from the kids' menu, and the food arrived promptly. We were greeted with tasty breadsticks to start. My lunch selection was a perfectly portioned salmon accompanied by a creamy soup, both of which were delicious. To celebrate her special day, I mentioned her birthday to our server, and they kindly presented a complimentary chocolate cake. Another server joined in to sing the birthday song, making my daughter's day even more memorable with their celebration. However, I had to withhold a star from my rating because our server didn't check back with us after delivering our meals. My daughter was hoping for some extra shredded cheese for her dish, which we had to request from the manager who was making rounds to ensure guest satisfaction. As always, the food at Olive Garden met our expectations, and our future visits will be influenced by my children's preferences.

Ordered to go like I usually do. Food was in good order by the time I get home, like always. I just wanted to add that, I was surprised that they gave me a small cup of their garlic butter for their bread sticks, which ive never gotten before. But as happy as I was, this cup was so concentrated, almost to a toxic level, that we couldn't eat it at all.

However, I completely forgot to get a photo of our appetizer, fried lasagna w/ marinara and then our chicken parmesean w/ Angel hair pasta. Both were outstanding! My family has visited this restaurant multiple times since moving to Plano, and the food and service have always been great. However, on my recent visit, we were asked to seat at a table on the bar side, which is located to the right of the entrance. As a family with a young child, we found this seating arrangement less suitable and requested to be moved to the quieter area on the left side, which is more appropriate for families. We were moved upon request, I appreciate that but I kindly ask the owner to consider providing guidance to the staff on better table assignments for families in the future.

Man where do I begin? The wait to eat was long & they said 15 minutes. The server tried his best but was forgetful & messed up some orders. The food was warm and bland. I use to like Olive Garden but it as fallen off big time. I don't know if I'll be back.

Good food, poor service. We planned just a light dinner , with soup and salad and appetizer, and our server was anything but available to us. Every time we wanted to rotate the soup , we had to ask another server to bring it to us. One time, even the front desk manager brought us a soup. My first time here. First off. If you go to a $$ restaurant you expect high quality food that tastes great! Salad was fresh and breadsticks were hot. Keeping that aside, i ordered the Chicken Parmagiani which was very mediocre snd cery basic. The sauce was the 2 minute marinara bottle sauce like. Mom ordered the Chicken Alfredo. You cannot go wrong with Alfredo at a place like this. The chicken was not tender enough and honestly we’ve had better Alfredo at Red Lobster- a place not even know for it.

Such a bad service. There was a lash in the appetizer salad and I let the server know. She came up and said “ew let me go get the manager for you” and had us waiting for about 15 min. Then they came with our pasta and another bowl of salad without any apology. As we were eating our pasta I found a piece of hair in the pasta as well. When I called one of the servers to know that there was another hair in my pasta, all she said was “so you want us to make another one for you.” When I asked what my other options were, she left with our food saying that she’ll be right back and came with two pieces mint chocolates and threw it on the table. They took out the pasta from our bill, but servers were very rude and I certainly will never go back.

Service was horrible! We got the wrong waitress! 1st soup was OK but not terribly hot. It took forever to refill or glasses. 2nd soup and bread came at least 10 min. after our meal was served. She apologized 1/2 dozen times, but it didn't make it any better. No 3rd refill on drinks. Our main meal was not hot nor was our second soup. It was just a mess all round. She didn't even ask if we wanted coffee or dessert at the end. She just gave us to go boxes and double mints. She didn't even give us a bill or tell us to pay on the terminal at the table.

Everything we ordered in taste wise was great. However, it was very slow in bringing the food. Second, Joseph who was our server barely came to our table to ask for anything. Also, food that he brought to the table was also a bit disgusting because his thumb was touching my food when he brought food plates. And last, while we were eating, we still had a bit food left in our plate and without asking, just took the plate off of our table without asking or anything. Anyways, I am sure everyone else is great but was not satisfied with this person service.

I’m giving a one star because while filling out the survey at the end after paying the bill on the little iPad type device on the table, I realized that there was a buy one takeout one free offer, which I was not made aware of by my server nor was the little placard on my table, which I don’t know was intentional or accidental. When I asked my server about it, he she sheepishly told me yes there was a scheme going on called BOTO and then he goes and gets the card from another table and gives it to me and then says “it’s too late to get this offer because the bill has already already been paid” try it when you are here next time. I’m not coming to this place again and it was a mistake to give a 30% tip to our server. I’m happy to stick to my Olive Garden at McKinney .

Service very poor. You have call them using the table kiosk even for water. Once the initial order is done you are on your own. You have to follow up on your entree, refill water etc.

Went there for lunch on Saturday 12/14/24. The hostess sat me and my family (party of 3). 10 minutes go by and no one greeted us for drink order. I had to go back to the hostess and ask her what’s going on. She then volunteered to bring us our waters. We sat there for another 10 minutes with no waiter coming by. I asked the hostess to speak with a manager. Young man came out and apologized to us and said there was a miscommunication and the hostess sat us in a section with no waiter. He then took our order himself without writing anything down. I really do not like when they do that and if you do that you better make sure it comes out right. Well it did not come out correct and they had to take one of the wrong plates back and wait yet again. They corrected the order but no one even came back to check or refill drinks for the rest of the time. I was like so are we going to get a check or what so I went back to speak to the manager. This time it was a lady. She did seem really concerned and apologized and said we did not have to pay. That’s fine and fair but who was this first guy claiming to be the manager? Was he just another waiter playing manager? Left a really bad taste in my mouth. I hate writing bad reviews but this restaurant really needs help and I will be driving 10 minutes further to go to the Plano location next time. Please do better.

Food was good but the service was so terrible. Our server gave us salad after almost finished my meal, checked on us only twice, overall terrible service.

As a long time rep and marketer, you just officially priced me out. For over a decade I have utilized you all and your locations for my provider lunches. I average a couple a meals a month, and spend 600-700 bucks. These pasta stations are not worth what you are pricing now. Way too not look out for your clientele. And thanks for taking away the rewards program. I will find someone else to use for my meals.

We arrived at the place, they sat us down, and we had to wait almost 20 minutes for them to even offer us water. Then they brought us the calamari, which is supposed to be crispy, but it was awful. They brought the bread only when we were already eating. It was terrible, honestly. I hope they pay more attention to detail. 😡😡😡😡

My family and I have been coming to Olive Garden for a good long while. We would order the calamari and a salad to share. It was always nice because this would be enough to fill us up, and for cheap, too. The most recent time we went, we did this again. Our bill showed two charges for the salad, unlike every other time. We mentioned this to our server, who said, despite this being the first time this has happened, that it is standard policy. We called the manager over to dispute this charge, as it is new to us. He would not allow this. This is, by far, the worst service we have received and was an unnecessary charge that has never happened before. Safe to say, we will never be returning to this location, and I suggest that you do not come here either.

My kiddo thought he was diving into the famous Never-Ending Pasta Bowl—Rigatoni, Five Cheese Marinara, and Crispy Chicken Fritta. Instead, the server rang it up as a Create Your Own Pasta for $12.99, instead of the $13.99 Never-Ending option. When I asked if we could simply adjust it for the extra dollar, the answer was a flat “no.” Really, Olive Garden? For a buck? That’s the kind of nickel-and-diming that makes endless breadsticks lose their charm. A little training could go a long way in making guests feel valued. I’m sure I’ll be back—after all, where else can one carbo-load so reliably—but this visit gave me a story in how not to serve up customer service.
