Andrea's Pizzeria and Grill Alpha Reviews
Small town dining experience with amazing food. Would recommend the burgers. Will come back
First time in Alpha and came to Andrea’s for breakfast and I tell you, this genuine home town restaurant hit the stop. Something different in those eggs. I kept asking for more. And the French toast, chef kiss. This was home cooked breakfast at its best.
Fantastic chicken wings and French fries the service was great would recommend to anyone going anywhere near we went about 5 miles out of our way when someone recommended it
1st time here. Friend ordered the Friday night catfish special. Looked good & he said good. I had the double hamburger & cheese fries. 2 good ⅓# burgers ($7.89) on a toasted bun. The cheese fries ($4.09) were different than expected but very good. Good frozen fries with a styrofoam cup of cheese sauce. Not a lot of parking, at least not in front. Waitress was very friendly & answered all of our questions. Had homemade cream of cauliflower soup as soup of the day. Homemade cherry & dutch apple pies were available for desert.
Stopped in for lunch. Pleased with the Cleanliness of the facility and Friendliness of the staff. Food was Fast, Fresh and Delicious. Will be back my next time through! Definitely recommend!
I have never had an issue with this place. I find the food to be great, especially love the pizza. I haven’t had a lot of the menu but I’m sure I’ll make my way through it.
Stopped in for a fast breakfast sandwich of eggs bacon and cheese on whole wheat toast washed down with a large glass of orange juice. Sandwich was great, but the orange juice tasted a little adulterated......who ever puts this item together should taste it. I'm thinking it has pineapple juice and other juice additives. Shame on you.
The burgers are delicious! I can also recommend the coleslaw and potato salad. I don't live nearby, but I make it a point to stop in once or twice a year.
Good food and friendly service when I was there. Delivery service also is nice for rural folks. The wings I love but they will haunt you tomorrow!! If I could wish for one change would be more sauce on the pizza, it’s good pizza but just some more sauce. I like the crust. I haven’t had it for awhile sooooo sounds like I will soon! Nice job!
This is a quaint blast from the past eatery. The food was good. Every table was full when we walked in and 1 waitress. She did her best, but clearly too much for 1 person. The decor gives that 80's vibe grandma's kitchen. Mauve and Country blues. Retro everything. Exactly what you expect in a little drive through town. You could tell it's the local hangout after Sunday church!
Food was not great. Majority of the fountain pop machine doesn't work. I would pass this place by.
When I arrived at 12:45pm She asked me if I would like the special today which was the salad bar and the pizza. After paying, I heard the waitress say we only had about 15 minutes left till they close. The pizza was cold. Only reason why I ordered is because I thought they were making more pizza. I wish they would’ve told me. Very disappointed I wanted to take my time but instead I ate so fast. I got sick when I got home.
Like to go there for breakfast. Went there this morning Aug.11th 2024 at 10am left and went to Galesburg because they quit serving breakfast at 10am. This is way too early to stop cooking breakfast.
The food is about as good as the owner's treatment of customers who voice a complaint, no matter how valid...sub par. The staff will say they don't want to cook things out of laziness. Overpriced mediocre food with little effort put in.
Be sure to have your order repeated back to you before you hang up the phone when ordering pickup or delivery. Normally the food is great. But they really messed up the last time. Forgot my bowl of chili and murdered my nachos.
We've eaten there a few times. Im sorry to say the coffee is always a disappointment. The staff has always been friendly and polite. The food is just ok and priced just a tad high for the quality. They are large portions, but a little on the bland side for me. It's great for a quick bite when you don't feel like driving all the way to town, just don't have high expectations.
Went in and sat down after about 20 minutes we got up and left as we hadn't been acknowledged Friday 6/20/25
From my experience, I do not recommend. I tried a pizza, some taco salad, fried cauliflower, and some cheese curds of some kind. Pros: -None Cons: -Price (medium pizza cost about $13) -Taste -Appearance The cheese curds or whatever were crunchy/hard more than you would want on the outside. The Taco salad bowl was stale and not appetizing at all. The fried cauliflower was flavourless and dry. My pizza was very greasy on the top and I niether saw nor tasted any cheese. The crust was hard and dry (over cooked for sure and probably old dough). The pineapple was barely any flavour. My friend had nachos and his chips were stale and gross he said. For the price and taste, I will not revisit.
