Always friendly and inviting. Great lunch on the patio
Cool vibe sitting outdoors. Also top five burgers I've ever had here.
We were able to get sat outside on patio right away and our server Grace was amazing!! We brought our son and he was able to order a children's size meal; we had a fish fry and the roasted chicken and grilled peach pizza- all the food was excellent and came out in great timing even tho they were busy!! My husband and son got some practice putts in while we were waiting for food to come out. Great atmosphere too!!! Definetely look forward to returning!!!
Hubby and son and I went here for Mother's Day. It was our first time but definitely not our last. Upon entering, the staff was friendly, offering us a choice of inside or outside dining. The dining room was roomy without being over crowded. Attempts have been made to help with the acoustics so the noise level was very good. It was very easy for us to have a conversation without excessive background noise. The food selection was excellent - ranging from elegant to as simple as a hotdog. Our selection was smothered brisket, salmon and English cut prime rib. The food arrived hot and looked spectacular. There was even a small orchid on my prime rib plate. And it tasted as good as it looked. Save room for dessert - limited selection but the apple pie is one of the best I have ever had at a restaurant. The crust was like puff flakey pastry and the filling had just the right amount of sweet and cinnamon. It iscreaon enough to come back again.
The food was outstanding! We ate outside on the patio and had a beautiful view of the golf course and meticulously landscaped grounds. I highly recommend the Cider House. Great food, service, and ambiance.
Incredible food with a great view for the outdoor seating! A smaller place with smaller number of staff, so things a take a bit longer to arrive when things get busy, but worth the wait!
We had a delightful lunch on the patio on a perfect summer day. Don't hesitate to treat yourself. The staff in the restaurant was delightful, too.
First time coming here and won't be the last! Dinner was excellent! Great service!
It's one of our new favorites ... Love this place! Food is amazing, either take out or there is plenty of space at the bar and lots of tables, indoor and out, for family and friends. It's open to the public, and you definitely have to try the calamari!!

Missed pumpkin picking however my daughter in law from Las Vegas whose never been to NY. My son took her to his father's in Queens and they traveled the subway to all sorts of places. They came up to see me his mom and enjoy grass autumn in the making. She was so excited to see the mt s. Her last day I took her to Cider house restaurant we ordered Mexican and it was lousy. The service was great but the beauty of your landscape mesmerized her fou 3 hours. Pictures and apple picking made her day. Thanks
Food was good, Caesar Salad and Eggplant. Service was excellent and nice views of the Heldebergs.l from both inside and patio.
The bartender was spot on with service and her ability to mix our drinks. The pizza we had was flavorless and burnt.

Loved it when Cider House served real food, regular meals. Now it feels like fancy pub food, often tasty but not so nourishing. High end fast. Please bring back the sauerbraten or turkey leg with mashed potatoes. Some of us love a good meal.

2 cocktails. 2 apps. 2 entrees. $100 before tip. -expensive! Entrees were not good (fish fry-very greasy. Baby baby ribs -not hot and bone was still room temp) Drinks were weak (Maple Leaf, Mango Moscow Mule) Apps were really good! (Bevarian pretzels and calamari).
My wife & I went to Cider House for our 51st anniversary on Sunday. I ordered a clam roll and my wife ordered a vegi melt. And we ordered wines. My wife asked if she could order a side salad in place of the french fries and I asked to order sweet potato fries in place of french fries and our waitress said there would be an up charge for the substitutions and I said OK without asking the price expecting a 1 or 2 dollar upcharge. When our bill came the sweet potato fries were $6.00 and the side salad was $7.00. When I got home I called Cider House because after thinking about it I thought our waitress made a mistake but was told on the phone that substitutions were NOT allowed. Therefore I paid for 2 meals that included french fries but did not get the fries and paid full price for the sweet potato fries and the salad. If our waitress told me that I would be paying for the fries and the substitutions I would have got the fries and brought the french fries home since I paid for them. Also there is a note on the menu saying that prices were cash only. So if I used my credit card I would have to pay an additional 3.5 percent charge. The food was pretty good but I will not be going back any time in the near future. It is not unreasonable to expect a restaurant to substitute sweet potato fries for regular fries at a reasonable charge Steve Terplak

The food and service has gone very downhill. Used to my one of my favorite restaurant but now it’s mediocre. The only good part is the view of the golf coarse
8 of us went to eat after golf. I got a chicken sandwich with cole slaw it came with french fries. When I asked the waitress if I could get something besides fries she said “no”. I asked about a side salad she said yes for $8. So they gave me a side salad and did not give me fries. Then someone else at the table asked if she could have coleslaw instead of fries which they had because I had it on my chicken sandwich and she said they would never do anything as big as that. I worked my share restaurants and I’ve never seen anything so ridiculous and so cheap in my life. I have to tell you I don’t think I’d ever go there to eat again.
Don't know how the food is. I called to see if they had outdoor seating and if service dogs were allowed and wad told, "No service dogs were allowed." Under New York law and the federal Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), people with disabilities may bring their service dogs to all "public accommodations," such as restaurants, museums, hotels, and more.
