I just discovered this joint about 2 weeks ago and I am addicted to the egg and chicharron breakfast burritos. I think it family ran or they just all run and work phenomenally well. The gorditas are very good too, my buddy had the menudo and he said it was superb!!

A lot of restaurants have something they serve that is outstanding and at Rivera’s it is their caldo de res!!!! They have the best in town!!!! And by the way, all the restaurants in Amarillo need to take note that this is how you serve any kind of soup! It should be steaming hot! There’s nothing worse than your favorite soup being served lukewarm…..

Friendly staff, absolutely delicious breakfast burrito and also got the Asada burrito. Even my Chihuahua licked her lips after eating some asada. Definitely worth the drive to eat breakfast here

Came here for a quick bite, ended up ordering menudo, chile relleno, burritos, huevos rancheros, horchata, and coffee. This place takes you back to your mother's/grandmother's/aunt's kitchen where home cooked meals could never be topped. This place is an amazing family restaurant and we will be coming back every time we pass through Amarillo.

I have to be honest... The Taco Truck is better than the restaurant. Not disrespecting Mrs. Ramirez, but her son can cook. My only complaint is, the food at the restaurant needs more flavor... And Rice! They ran out by the time we went to eat!!! Also... If you know someone who knows Spanish, take them with you. I took my wife!!!

The food was average for Tex Mex. Their homemade corn tortillas were the best part! We thought it was overpriced.

Service was quick. Ordered 2 caldo de rez. Had 2 different types of meat, one was the correct one and the other was bland and hard cheap meat, no squash and little vegtables. Served with a little bit of rice. I thought 19.58 was too much to pay for an uncomplete caldo de res.

Not all that! sorry, went to eat menudo n got like literally nothing of posole and meat and paid $10 for onlyjuice

I wouldn't recommend eating there . The services is a very long time to wait one lady that was working in the front was on her phn while we were trying to get her attention to get served more chips n refills on r drinks n the food is greasy n there is to many files flying around..
