I spent $50 for a party of three. The environment is clean and comfortable. The food taste good and the portion are above average Thai restaurant I had been. I've ordered the ladna there. They fix it very different from other Thai restaurants. Their ladna is fried with thick gravy. To me, it tastes great. I would go to Thai taste again. I would of course recommend Thai taste.

Food is great and so is the service. I’d recommend getting any of the curries as it goes really with their jasmine rice. Do not substitute the rice.

We love Thai taste!! We will go out of our way to come here. The best Thai food! The garlic fried rice is a favorite but everything we’ve had has been so delicious! Restaurant is very clean and service is quick.

The place was clean. Service was good. Prices were a bit steep, but I figure- inflation?! Each dish was about $12. Something that boggled me was an unsweet tea was 1.99 and a half sweet tea was 2.99?! 🥴 Overall everything was ok. Not great, not bad.

Probably the best Thai food in town, we usually get take out. It’s been good when we’ve dined in, that way when they screw up the order it can get fixed right away. And 9 times out of 8, they figure out how to screw up the order. The foods good tho.

To start we stood in the entry way for about 10 minutes before someone even acknowledged us and told us to sit wherever. So after seating ourselves the service didnt get any better. We were given menus and had to wait for the waitress to come back around 5 minutes later to take drink orders. Once drinks came we ordered spring rolls, cream cheese wonton and entrees. The wonton came out 5 minutes later. Then another 5 minutes passed and the spring rolls came. Then a few minutes later the first entree was served to my daughter and I was left waiting. I waited another 5 to 10 minutes for my food to arrive. The first entree was simple chicken fried rice. It had black specs all through it from the grill and it tasted like the dirty grill top it was cooked on. It was also super greasy. The second entree was veggie fried rice with chicken and it too had the same problem. Black flakes and dirty grill taste. Also super greasy. My daughter didnt eat her food after taking the first two bites. And when we left it was still on the table. Upon telling someone about the issue we were told nothing could be done and they joked about having a "stern talking to" with the chef. I paid and we left. There are too many better options in this town for this kind of poor food and service. We won't return.

The food was decent but I waited more than 40 minutes for my order, so it definitely wasn't worth it. The water tastes gross, like sink water, and a can of soda costs almost $4. Overall, there are much better Thai restaurants in Amarillo. I wouldn't recommend eating here.

Went in and placed to go order so can't really rate service and atmosphere. So not worth the money spent. Entrees were all combination and only 1 shrimp on 2 entreees and no shrimp on 3rd combination entree. First and last time this place will take my money.

The food tasted great. We ordered the lo mein and there was hardly any noodles. Waitress was rude and sounded like we inconvenienced her when we needed things that she forgot. Then just grabbed her things and left! Had to ask the other waitress for a refill and she acted like it was a huge inconvenience! They were more interested in talking than taking care of their customers. Then had to ask for a box and the check... I've never been treated like this in a restaurant.

This restaurant is a Joke and the owner doesn't deserve anyone's business.

So today on 11/25/2024, I just left Thai Taste Restaurant. It was the absolutely the most horrible and horrific experience of my entire 58 years on this earth; this NOT an exaggeration. Lets do the easy one first, the restaurant was outrageously cold everyone had their coats on at almost every table including ours. The owner to cheap or non-caring about his customers to event turn on some heat. Then, the service, it started slow as if the two waitresses did not have a care in the world, including the customers in the restaurant. Although we sat down relatively fast, it took forever for the waitress to come take our drink order and take our food order. We ordered eggrolls, wonton chips and and two entrées; chicken pad thai and chicken moogoogai pan. Got our eggrolls and chips while three or four other groups came in and sat down . They all eventually ordered meals while we still waited for our food. During this elapse time people came in asked to be seated some sat some didn't. Of these other groups that came in three left and one got up from a table and left. We were still waiting for food and refills. In the time we were waiting two of the tables that came in well after we did received their food and prepared to or left. We eventually received one plate with the indifferent waitress rudely informing us that she would go check on our other plate. She did not come back immediately to let us know how much longer it would be until i called her back to the table. She then informed us he was going to start our other plate soon. I asked her if she was serious, which she responded "why would i not be serious" Flabbergasted by her rudeness, while she walked away. When I saw her start to bring the food to the fourth table that came in after us and the others who finished that came in after us left, I called her back over and asked her where our other plate was (not being rude myself by starting to eat with out the other plate). She said she told us that he was starting the plate, to which i pointed out everyone who had come in after us and ate/left and the fourth table getting their food. She was more rude responding in a cold manner she was sorry but she doesn't cook she took our order and that was it. She said i could talk to the owner. At this point, I placed my plate aside and told her we were not waiting any longer and i did want to talk to the owner. She said fine and she did not care if I talk to him. The coward owner would not come out of the kitchen, but sent the rude waitress back out to us. She said the owner said he was sorry but you can wait or not for the balance of the food; and as far as she was concerned we didn't have to stay for the balance of our food. We had a semi-quite back and forth and she said you don't have to pay if you want to leave. I asked her pay for what, bad rude service, no food eaten because I was not going to eat with out our other plate of food and have to wait further. She then informed me that I should not be upset because she had a hard day all day. I told her she should not take it out on us or any other customer and if she was having a bad day she should just stay home. She stated her boss would not let her and we should feel bad for her. I said "give me a break" while getting up to walk out. We left with another couple following us who were waiting to have order taken and heard all this back and forth. These people have no business owning a business if they can't get orders straight and cannot treat people with common curtesy as their customers. This owner should not be such a coward and come out to deal with upset customers he made upset and not be so callous like his wait staff. All this took almost 2 hours for no food and to be treated like they were doing us a favor. Never again, will we go to Thai Taste. We will drive to MY THAI from here on out, where the service is always great, they keep organized and the food is leaps and bounds better than these jokesters. I guess no supper tonight, I am so angry...Again, worse experience ever!!!!

I ordered for delivery and put specific notes for extra variety of sauces including charging additional for the service in multiple places. They didn’t even attempt to provide what was requested. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ORDERING FROM HERE. If you eat in store you can babysit their employees to ensure accuracy but don’t trust they will handle your order professionally when placed for delivery. Hope this helps the next mobile person from making the mistake we did.
