Family Thai Restaurant Amherst Reviews
Thai basil fried rice, chicken satay all day! I can't admit how often I go here but I do love it. The staff seem to know me now and are very kind and efficient.
most amazing restaurant! staff are so friendly and food always comes out amazing.
Probably a favorite if not the most favorite spot in Amherst. Good quality food and decently priced! Love the pad see ew, golden tofu triangles, and the soups are amazing. As if 2025, the ingredients seemed to have changed and there’s been a slight decline in quality
Portion sizes are fantastic for the price. Got the curry noodles with shrimp. The shrimp was high quality! Spice level was also good.
Hands down the best place in Amherst, Drunken Noodles is my all time favourite. Teriyaki Noodles, Green Thai Curry, and pastas are great too.
Love Crazy Noodles! Asian noodles on the one hand, or pasta on the other? Yes, please! And the young lady who works behind the counter there is so very nice — and has an amazing sense of humor! (Ask her for a chopstick.).
Great food, priced right. I haven't had a bad food item yet and I've tried several dishes and apps. Friendly staff. My go to place in Amherst!
Spring rolls were awesome! I got the pad Thai and unlike other Thai food places this wasn’t a sauced dish but it was SO much better! Mom had pineapple fried rice and loved it! There were no leftovers! Service was awesome and everything was explained if there were questions! Nice amount of tables too!
Any time we are passing through Amherst, we make it a point to get food here, whether to eat in or take out. It isn't fancy, it isn't expensive, but it is delicious!!! I almost always get the pad woon sen. It is the best!!! My man enjoys the Italian-inspired items. Good folks, great food!
My whole family loves eating at Crazy Noodles. The food is great, there is a broad menu to choose from and it feels like home. We celebrated our son's birthday there last Friday and the six of us were seated immediately. Best birthday dinner ever!! It is also easy on the pocketbook. 🥰
Amazing taste in food. Gluten free options. Perfect location. I love going here. The food is amazing. The service is awesome. I’ve tried a lot of dishes here. Wonton soup is amazing. The sunshine noodles with shrimp are amazing. Great egg rolls, fried wontons are great. I could eat here everyday.
Great location in the heart of Amherst, a small setup with 6-8 tables, good to go with kids/family. Tried vegetarian items on the menu - pad Thai, veggie fried rice, curry noodles, red curry and fried tofu appetizer. All the items we tried were awesome, portion size and price are excellent, lean but excellent service. Highly recommend for Thai lovers !! (P.S - if u agree with review. Gimme a like !! )
Ordered takeout but couldn’t order online. Had to call to place my order. Would prefer to do it online so I could customize my preferences without feeling rushed as I do on the phone because I’m worried I will forget something important. Food and service were good. Atmosphere at the restaurant seemed loud and they can improve the layout to make better use of the space. Good mix of patrons on the day I picked up the food. Staff seemed diverse and very friendly. Would give 4.5 stars overall. Food portions were generous and well worth the price. Will order from them again.
This was my first time trying Crazy Noodles, and I can honestly say I was not disappointed at all! I arrived for an early dinner around 5 PM, filled with anticipation to see what the hype was all about. Upon entering the restaurant, I was welcomed warmly by the servers who walked me through the ordering process. They politely explained that I needed to grab a menu, place my order, and pay right away at the counter. This casual but efficient ordering system created a relaxed atmosphere, allowing me to enjoy the experience without any pressure. I decided to order a few dishes to get a true taste of what Crazy Noodles had to offer. First up was the Lemon Garlic Shrimp. The shrimp were cooked to perfection, juicy and tender, and the lemon garlic sauce was bursting with flavor. It was a delightful start to my meal! Next, I tried their popular #1 Phnom Penh noodles. The dish was a generous portion, featuring a savory blend of meet and perfectly cooked noodles, topped with fresh herbs and a hint of spice. Every bite was a delicious balance that kept me wanting more. I was genuinely impressed with the quality and taste! I also had the classic Pad Thai, which, while familiar, stood out with its vibrant flavors and fresh ingredients. Finally, I couldn’t resist ordering the Pineapple Fried Rice with chicken. This dish was a delightful surprise—each spoonful was packed with flavor, and the sweet pineapple perfectly complemented the savory chicken and rice. I was pleasantly surprised by the quantity of food I received. The portions were substantial, making the $42 and some change I paid seem like an incredible value for such a delicious spread. Looking around, I noticed the ambiance was warm and inviting. The restaurant started to fill up around 5:45 to 6 PM, creating a lively yet comfortable vibe. Overall, I left Crazy Noodles feeling extremely satisfied with not only the flavorful food, but also the attentive service and pleasant environment.
The place is nice! But something happened that left me disappointed. It was the first time I was going to eat there because my friends said it was great! I have two children, one little one is 3 years old, he doesn't eat vegetables or any kind of meat! And whenever we go out to eat I buy him his cheese pizza! And they told me that he couldn't eat anything from another restaurant inside Crazy Noodle! I was disappointed and decided to leave with my family even though there was no food at all! And we went out to eat at the park! It was ugly because it was for a minor, the pizza is not for an adult
