Recommended by boss, ordered cheese pizza tonight, way better than Manhattan and that is a favorite standbye. The whole family agreed and so did in laws from Dominican Republic. I told daughter I wanted to go back and get another. She remarked, "can you"? In a positive tone and I told her I can't . It was 10pm and now closed.

Price is modest, to go with excellent quality. Wings run a bit spicy, but sauce is superb. Pizza is done on a thick crust, so this is not for those, diehard (New York, Brooklyn) thin crust wimps that need to fold.

The best pizzeria in Amsterdam, hands down. The food is always fresh and professionally presented. Delivery is quick and you couldn't ask for nicer employees. I'm always left satisfied and never disappointed.

Best pizza and wings I’ve had in Amsterdam. Rockton house is a second runner up. Food was tasty. Hot wings were HOT. (Well done riverside) the pizza was PERFECT, I was told 45 mins- 20 mins later the food was at my door on the opposite side of town- piping hot.. If you order from fresh basil, goodfellas, Manhattan, or any other pizza spot around here. Stop disappointing yourself... Order here. It’ll be worth it.

Pizza, we stopped called a bit late, the website said they were open til 10 pm. We called at 8:30 pm. They close at 9 and the guy was really nice and said that they closed at 9 if we could make it there by then!

Stopped in here randomly when traveling through the area. Was pleasantly surprised with how good the pizza was. Just a small place but really brings the thunder with a quality pizza that delivered in both appearance and taste. Slices were thick and the crust was perfect, making every bite one to remember. Definitely worth checking out if I the Amsterdam area.

Would recommend over and over! Called at 6-ish on a Sat night, phone was busy, to be expected, it didn't take long to finally get through, guy was kind took my order said about 45mins, and gave me a total of cost, which I liked. With the rising cost of everything, IF I am ordering out, or dining in at your establishment give me the quality and quanity I am willing to pay for! Riverside delivered on both! Amount of toppings on my pizza did not disappoint! Very happy with my order, price was very reasonable, food was excellent! Great Job to Riverside Pizza I wanted to add a photo, but I did not see that option, anyway folks place your orders!

We were looking for a pizza place that was reminiscent of Little Italy in NYC. Well, guess what? It exists here at Riverside Pizza. It was easy to place the order by phone. The food was ready when we arrived to pick it up. The guy at the counter was very nice. We ordered pizza and boneless wings. This was the best pizza and wings I've had in a long time. We ordered the 8-cut round white garlic pizza with broccoli and ricotta. It was delicious. The prices are resonable and you definitely get your monies worth. Highly recommended!

Possibly the busiest pizzeria around Amsterdam. Been meaning to check out Riverside for awhile now, but every time I tried to call in their line was busy. Once again on a Friday night I attempted to place an order and was met with the same busy line, turns out, they are just that busy. After 10 subsequent calls (over 15 minutes), I finally got through, and placed my order. Went with a single 8-slice pizza, the red sauce, and added on onions, banana peppers, ricotta cheese, cheddar cheese, mushrooms, and chicken. All together coming to a little over halfway to $29, that was a lot of toppings after all. Was told 40 to 45 minutes, no problems there, and when I arrived I found the place to be bumping. The crew of three guys were more or less doing gymnastics in that kitchen with the work they had, they were super busy, enough so I could even detect how annoyed they were becoming at the phone ringing off the hook. But hey, that just shows you just how popular they are. When I saw my pizza come out I was a little worried at how saucy it look during the cutting, but I figured that was just par for the course given the heft that pizza had. Back home my worries were abated as the slices held together and firmer than expected, holding their own without much support needed. My flavor combination of ingredients, surprised me with how awesome it turned out. The sour peppers cut the rich cheesiness of the cheddar, the ricotta added a lovely burst of texture, the chicken was evenly distributed, the onions were crispy and well baked as to not leave ogre breath, and the mushrooms added an extra texture to keep things fun along with the ricotta. This was amazing! I was only able to make it through 4 slices before I topped off, but even the next day, after a night of refrigeration, this pizza is still so good! Nothing like a lovely slice of cold pizza for breakfast. Totally recommend anyone who wants a real pizza, and not the processed cookie-cutter stuff they dish out at chains. This is the real deal.

The place is still open. I just received the confirmation. It was only closed for a week or so. Vacation, I guess. Sorry, I thought it was closed, as it happened with many restaurants around the area because the pandemic. It is located across the CDTA bus stop S. Main St and Market St. So, now you know it is still open. Go there and enjoy the delicious pizza they prepare there. Don't forget to be nice to the people working there, otherwise, they will give you a big smile in return..... An free of cost. Love you Riverside Pizza 🍕🍕🍕.

Great pizza, have not eaten at the restaurant but the pizza is delicious and we have eaten there twice in a week it was so good. A must place to check out if you are in the area. We had a 12 cut sausage and pepperoni pizza and a pepperoni and pineapple pizza so good. The crust was a bit thicker than I normally like but they do it so well I highly recommend it.

I stumbled upon this quaint little pizza shop. I was looking for a place to pick up some subs for dinner. I am glad I stopped in, are subs were the best subs I have ever had. It's been a month since we've eaten here so I decided the other night to order pizza and wings. The pizza was by far the best pizza I have ever had. Let me say its the sauce that makes the pizza. I love their sauce and I also love the fact they do not skimp on the toppings like all my pizza places in my area do. The people that work there are very friendly. I highly recommend Riverside Pizza.

This has become our new pizza and sub place after moving to Amsterdam from Schenectady. Their pizza is phenomenal and their subs are hearty and delicious. Sometimes it's a little hard to call in to make an order because they're so popular! Best pizza I've had in town so far.

Great chewy type crust, not thick at all though. Slight browning on the cheese, of which there is plenty. Sauce is on the hot side moreso then sweet, not bad. Best pizza in Amsterdam, NY.

Have lived here for over 10 years and Riverside is the best in the area for takeout pizza. Good bunch of hard working guys that take pride in their pie! Consistently DELICIOUS!

Is it my imagination or is this place not what it used to be? Riverside Pizza has always been a great pizza spot. However, tonight the pizza was almost like bread - thick and a tad dry. The wings nothing to brag about either. I was a little surprised because this is the first time I've ever had sub par food from here. Disappointed because now I have to, once again, search elsewhere

We ordered the appetizer sampler and a pizza. The sampler came with chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks, jalapeno poppers, onion rings, and dipping sauces. Sampler and the tenders were great. The pizza was a bit over done and needed more sauce. I would order from here again but would not get the pizza.

Order 2steak sandwich..sm.ff.1ord jaiopeno poppers.came to $32.43. Sandwiches were nothing to brag about. French fries were seasoned frozen kind. Poppers tasted old(frozen) disappointing and expensive. Used to be quality...will not return. I think they should stick to pizzas..which are great.

Pizza was nothing to write home about. Questionable hygiene. I put the pizza under my broiler for a few minutes to counter their practice of using one dirty towel to wipe their cutter. GROSS! No gloves no masks. Come on, we are in a COVID crisis. Oh. And the wings had consistency of heated left-overs. Arguably why eating out nowadays is ill advised.

Absolutely horrible service I ordered a 24 cut pizza and 12 wings was told the price was 25 dollars and some change the price on the website said a 24 cut pizza was 19 dollars and some change I get there to pick up my food I got a 12 cut pizza and still had to pay 25 dollarw the workers behind the counter told me a 24 cute pizza was 22 and some change so clearly your website is wrong!!!! They took my order down wrong refused to give me the price that was listed on the website and told me I would not only have to pay for the other 12 slices I ordered but I had to pay an additional price cause your website is wrong! I am disappointed in the service this was one of my dads favorite places to order from and I can not see why! I will never order from your place again!!!

I called to have a pizza delivered 4 min away. I was treated rude and told they did not deliver out of town. I did not know 4 min away was out of town. Would never do business with them. Answer to you Funny I got your name from the place I wanted you to deliver to, because they have it frequently delivered there But hey whatever no business from me, if that is how you run your business, sad.

Ordered a 8 slice pizza with pepperoni and received a size like domino's pizza for 14dollars and change . I asked for light on the sauce and it wasn't to my satisfaction. I've given plenty of business over the past few months , needless to say , I've tipped well . They are not the only good pizzeria in town , they being said they have lost my business

Never ordering from here again. The last 2 times I ordered, the driver helped themselves to adding an extra '1' to their tip. Usually I tip good if the pizza is early but if the pizza is late then I give a small one. But this last 2 times(pizza bieng late and cold) I tipped small but the drivers felt they could add an extra 1 to their tip and it's not cool. That's stealing and I don't tolerate it.

Had a cheese pizza and a steak sub. Steak sub was very bland, meat wasn't seasoned, cheese was tasteless & the roll was burnt. Pizza sauce was very dense & didn't have a good flavor. Sauce to cheese ratio is ridiculous... 90% sauce 10% cheese. Overall a terrible experience for the price. Not worth it. I wish I could give 0/5 stars.
