Marrakesh restaurant Anaheim Reviews
A genuine gem of a place. Delicious food, comforting atmosphere, and generous and attentive staff. The cost is worth it.
Fantastic experience. Very friendly and welcoming. The food was great. Everything made onsite daily with fresh ingredients.
What a great experience!! Food was delicious and the belly dancers make a unique experience, especially for the Packing District! Entertaining in a beautiful Moroccan environment. You feel like you’re transported to the Middle East.
Excellent food. Great service. Amazing ambience.
They could not have been more kind and welcoming, and the food was fantastic. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!
Delicious, authentic, and generous. The food, atmosphere, and service were all a treat!
Absolutely my new favorite date night spot, the hostess, waitress and owner were all so kind and helpful, the food is next level and the ambiance is unbeatable. A great escape from the crowds of the packing district. The food is cooked fresh to order and is an absolute stand out amongst other restaurants in the city. I will absolutely be coming back with more people. The lemon chicken and honey lamb are standouts on the decadent menu of beautiful options.
At the apex of each bite, there is a moment, outside of time, outside of words, outside of everything...a perfect moment, a silent moment... they call it the Marrakesh at the Anaheim Packing House and here they’re allowing all of us to experience it. I never thought food could make me want to be a better person. That’s how I felt after this experience. I imagine that’s why everyone on the team is so wonderful, friendly, and has this radiating glow to them. Maybe that’s just the great lighting and the cool location they’re in. Shoutout to the kind man that mentioned it last week that this place just opened. Supremely underrated! With no lines, chill vibes, and only one review so far, clearly this place is being gatekept by those who wish to hoard all the perfect moments for themselves. Be glad you discovered this place before Portnoy and Keith Lee do and give it their highest ratings ever. Such a special place and I love that they have their own ethnic entertainment also. We are lucky to have people who love their craft as much as these folks do. There is so much great food happening in OC and particularly in Anaheim and I feel very grateful to get to experience it. When historians look back at what happened in late 2025 to bend the arc of history towards world peace and justice they might discover this place to be the origin event. Perhaps this food has the power to end wars.
Such a wonderful dining experience! The service was outstanding and made us feel so taken care of. The food was incredibly fresh, authentic, and bursting with flavor. You can really tell how much care goes into every dish. Can’t wait to come back!
I went here to watch my friend perform (she's a belly dancer), and was impressed by the atmosphere of the place. The whole place felt cozy and inviting. The service was a bit slow, but it turns out their system crashed twice while I was there so I'm more than willing to give them grace on that, especially since the food more than made up for it. I ordered two different lamb dishes, friends I was with ordered salmon and chicken respectively, and everything was absolutely delicious! I would happily go back there just for the food it was so good! I will definitely be recommending this place in the future! Oh! Also, though they have music constantly playing like most restaurants, they don't blast it like other places do so you can have an actual conversation without having to shout at each other. It was very nice!
Authentic Moroccan food here. The merguez are a must try and the chorba soup too - sooo delicious!! Had a coucous and portions are big! The ambiance was super and the service amazing! There was also a belly dancer performance to bring us the oriental vibe and extra fun time. Hidden gem!
This is the place where my family used to eat years ago, and now they have moved to a new location in Anaheim. The service was exceptional, and Abnar walked us through all the menu options in detail. We went for a meat course and didn’t regret it. The appetizer plate with salads, dips and burek was super fresh and delicious. The highlights of the dinner were Honey Lamb and Lemon Chicken. Best lamb dish we ever tried (ever). The meat fell off the bone and was super tender. The source (made of plums, apricots, and almonds) that came with the lamb was excellent. We highly recommend this place!
I had an unforgettable experience at Marrakesh in Anaheim. From the moment I walked in, I felt transported, beautiful lanterns, vibrant colors, and the kind of warm hospitality that instantly makes you feel at home. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout the entire evening. The food was absolutely outstanding. Every dish was full of rich, authentic Moroccan flavors, perfectly seasoned, beautifully presented, and served with such care. The lamb was soooooooo tender and the pastries were a perfect finish. You can tell everything is prepared with real love and tradition. The ambiance is what truly makes Marrakesh special. The music, the décor, and the energy of the place create a unique, immersive atmosphere that you simply won't find elsewhere. It's perfect for celebrations, date nights, or just enjoying great food with family and friends. I left feeling full, happy, and genuinely impressed. This is the kind of restaurant that stays with you. Marrakesh is a must-visit!
This is a hidden (literally) GEM. Everything about our experience was amazing. I had the Lamb Tagine and it was fall off the bone delicious. Service was personal and made us feel like family. Will come back for more!
10/10 date night out experience with our friends last night. Tucked away behind the BXCR bar inside the Anaheim Packing House is this beautiful restaurant. When you step inside you are completely swept away into Morocco and for a few hours we felt like tourists again in our own backyard. Abner was an amazing host and treated us like family. We sampled the kemiya platter, honey lamb tagine and various couscous: shrimp, lamb and chicken. We will definitely be back to try more dishes—DELICIOUS!
This establishment provides a truly unique experience. The moment you enter, the intimate ambiance and authentic decor sweep you miles away to the heart of Marrakech. The culinary experience is just as impressive; the menu have traditional dishes that perfectly replicate the flavors sampled during my travels there. It offers vibrant weekend dinner entertainment including dancers and a musical group. The exceptional hospitality of the team ensures a warm and welcoming visit. We strongly encourage you to discover Marrakesh in anaheim.
Delicious drinks, doting service, immersive ambiance. This place is so special! Great for special dates or big groups. Every item we ordered was delicious. The proprietor, Abnar, and his staff were so friendly and welcoming. The decor is so fun and every surface and detail was thoughtfully attended to.
