Great food, service and ambiance. The wok fried shrimp tempura was amazing! Nice happy hour prices. I know there are many places to choose from to eat around here, but you must stop in and try this restaurant. So glad I did.

The food is phenomenal and the service is top notch. Im allergic to nuts and they went above and beyond to make sure nothing was cross contaminated. Everything we ordered was amazing. I go every year for my birthday and it never disappoints. Our waiter Feoador (not sure how its spelled) was absolutely wonderful making sire we had the best experience. He is great and deserves a raise. I couldn't have more about this place.

The food and service were very good. Definitely will come back. It was raining during our visit but we had a great time. I got the pre fix menu (short ribs) and you can’t go wrong. Also the calamari appetizer was excellent. 5-stars

Walking into Roy’s felt like stepping right into Hawaii. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was just as great as always. The staff were professional, attentive, and helped make the entire dinner experience really enjoyable. A wonderful place to relax, enjoy amazing flavors, and feel transported for a bit. Highly recommend.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Roy’s Restaurant – A Flavor Experience Worth Every Bite From the moment I walked into Roy’s, the ambiance set the tone — warm lighting, great service, and a menu that instantly made it hard to choose. I finally went with the Tuna Poke Bowl and the Chilean Seabass, and let me tell you, both dishes delivered on every level. The Tuna Poke Bowl was incredibly fresh — perfectly seasoned tuna with just the right amount of sauce and texture. It wasn’t overdone or drowning in soy or spice like you find in other places. You could actually taste the quality of the fish and the subtle flavors in the rice and toppings. My server was extraordinary can't remember his name Vietnamese super cute!! The Chilean Seabass was next-level. Buttery, flaky, and cooked to absolute perfection. It melted in my mouth — the kind of dish that reminds you why Roy’s has the reputation it does. The balance of flavors on the plate was amazing, and you can tell it was prepared with care. For sushi lovers, here’s a heads-up — when you order the Maki sushi, it’s authentic style, not your typical American “roll.” It’s traditional, elegant, and a true representation of how sushi is meant to be served. Don’t come expecting a California Roll — this is the real deal. Overall, Roy’s nails it on service, presentation, and most importantly, flavor. Everything came out beautifully plated and tasted even better than it looked. Perfect for a date night, celebration, or just treating yourself to something special. Highly recommend! ---

Exquisite food and extraordinary service. Great selection of bites for happy hour. The inside is classy but can be loud when the dining room is full; the patio has a lovely view and is a great option when the weather permits.

This place is in a great location with a beautiful view on patio. It's close to a shopping center with musicians playing (busking) which adds to the ambiance. The food & drinks were delicious. I have celiacs and the waiter was careful to double check ingredients so I could dine without worry. We were there on a cool evening and the staff turned on the outdoor heaters for us which was kind so we could be more comfortable dining outdoors.

The restaurant is larger than the front door suggests, many seating options here. Our waiter did everything humanly possible to make our first "ROY'S" experience memorable (he didn't know that it was our first visit). Linens, quality silverware and craft cocktails were just a few of the quiet touches that make the customer experience superior. I try to avoid restaurants on busy streets, especially in tourist areas. With the parking structure just next door, it was "easy in, easy out". No validation but parking was less than ten dollars. "THE FOOD", AMAZING! I would normally do Orange Hill for a nice dinner or special occasion, but they've fallen quite a few notches in our last view visits. If you don't care about a city view and would rather pay for "Quality Food and A FINE WAIT STAFF" Roy's is the place!

I would give Roy's a 4.6, The food is amazing, delicate flavor profiles paired with amazing textures. Every time I dine here i know what to expect, the food and service is very consistent and they have never let me down. The servers are knowledgeable on everything on the menu and are very attentive. I would highly recommend going here epically after a long day at Disneyland.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this Hawaiian restaurant that offers a unique and enticing menu, complemented by exceptional service. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience. The menu features a variety of Hawaiian-inspired dishes, each prepared with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. Burger Sliders: These sliders are a standout item, offering a perfect balance of juicy meat and savory toppings. Fish: The fish dishes are expertly cooked, showcasing the delicate flavors of the ocean. Short Ribs: The short ribs are tender and flavorful, a testament to the chef's skill in preparation. This Hawaiian restaurant offers a delightful dining experience, combining a diverse and interesting menu with friendly service. Whether you're a fan of Hawaiian cuisine or new to it, this establishment is worth a visit.

The briased short rib was nothing short of AMAZING! The Prix Fixe special is the best deal. Braised short rib, salad and the chocolate souffle. They make an eoic Old Fashioned too, althiugh very small, like a dram bit a cocktail. The only gripe I would say, is that you spend 500.00 in food and drinks and they dont validate an 8.00 parking ticket? Even PF Changs validates. Does Roy's feel like they ate above validating?

Everything we ordered was very good and flavorful. The lobster dumplings were fired just right an were not dry. The lobster bisque didn’t require and extra seasonings and had two pieces of lobster. Sampler platter was well presented and the flavor didn’t disappoint. The lobster and shrimp were cooked perfectly as well as the veggies. Service was good we had a very nice waiter who checked in often. The only disappointment was they don’t valet parking. 💁🏾‍♀️ to avoid paying you must leave within one hour. This was annoying especially since we paid premium prices for the food.

We were pleasantly surprised to be seated in a short amount of time (11 people). Staff were nice and welcoming. Food - aside from “sticker shock” - was splendid. The kids menu was quite nice as well.

I looked up top restaurants in the area and Roy's came up. I didn't realize it was a franchise (which is fine). The lobster bisque was delicious BUT you only got maybe 1.5 cups of the broth (which I could drink a bucket of), and maybe 1/2 a claw of lobster meat for $20. The mahina roll was tasty, but the rice was a bit over cooked (mushy in some parts), and the habanero sauce wasn't very spicy. It was fine.

Had dinner there this week but was a bit disappointed in the food. Traditionally Roy's has very consistently prepared food. We enjoy it as much in Hawaii as here, but tonight was different. The appetizer platter had good ribs, and spring rolls but the tuna roll, and the lobster potstickers lacked flavor. I ordered the shrimp on udon noodles. The noodles were well seasonally but the shrimp were very dry and a little over cooked. My husband had the short rib and miso cod combo. He enjoyed the fish but the short rib was also dry despite the sauces. The choc souffle was dynamite. Typicly when I have a disappointing meal I always give the restaurant another trial. Hoping next time I visit the Anaheim a Roy's it will be back at the level of the Maui location.

We’ve eaten at Roy’s in Hawaii and enjoy our Anaheim location whenever we are in the area. Staff is incredibly kind and customer service oriented. Food was yummy but the gnats were out of control. The entire time we were seated we had to literally fight them away. I even killed a few! They should look at getting their carpets deep cleaned or just removed. Crumbs and spilled food juices are living in the carpet. Hope this restaurant can improve their cleaning practices because I’ve never experienced that prior at this location.

I recently dined at Roy's Fusion Restaurant and had a mixed experience. The presentation of the dishes was impressive, earning an 8 out of 10, while the taste definitely stood out at a solid 9 out of 10. The scallops were cooked to perfection, but unfortunately, the shrimp was overcooked, which was disappointing. One major downside was the service. The servers seemed stretched thin, and it felt like they were understaffed, which resulted in a long wait time for our food—almost 3 hours! This significantly impacted the overall quality of our experience. Considering the price point for the food, I expected better staffing to match the quality of the dishes. I hope they can resolve these service issues because the food itself has great potential!

I reserved a booth for five of my family and friends for the day after Thanksgiving. We enjoyed a great meal with great service. We asked if they had anything vegan, and they brought out an entire menu. Bravo! PROS: Fresh quality ingredients. Wonderful friendly service. They sat me in exact spot I envisioned. The ambiance and arrangement was slightly uncomfortable. The lobster bisque with lime juice and coconut milk created a unique interpretation that appeased the palate. The fresh scallops with lobster sauce incorporated well with the black rice. The cherry heirloom tomatoes did merge well. The chocolate "souffle" tasted nice, but the ice cream with spiced crumble delighted the senses. CONS: The ambiance was more casual than any other Roy's that I dined. This could be the case due to the proximity to Disneyland. OVERALL: It's a good value compared to the other higher end "chain" restaurants in the Anaheim Convention area. Nicely done! Ciao, cheers, and buen provecho!

This restaurant will get mixed reviews from myself (and the company that was with me.). We all enjoyed the staff and felt they were very helpful making sure our questions were answered and any food allergies were considered. However, there were two dishes that were just not good or as expected. This resulted in my four versus five star rating.

theee worst wedge salad i ever had - are the cooks and chef not tasting their food before serve? the bacon bits have no flavor, the dressing has ZERO flavor, cherry tomatoes are not even ripe lol. $18 for an 1/8th of a head of iceberg lettuce.
