Probably the best steakhouse I’ve been to so far. I ate here for a company dinner and got the 16 oz. New York strip and ribeye. I ordered it medium rare and I loooooveee their seasoning. It’s legit soooo good. I crave it! Tried some calamari as well and it was pretty good. Also got their crème brûlée and chocolate cake - both were alright. I’m not a huge fan of crème brûlée, but the chocolate cake was extremely chocolatey.
All the staff were friendly and professional. In particular, my table server Lann made my birthday dinner truly special—I can confidently say that Lann is the best server I have ever experienced. Every dish met my expectations, and the atmosphere was exactly to my liking. I understand this restaurant has been in business for more than 10 years and is considered a well-established local favorite. Even though it was my first visit, both the interior and exterior of the restaurant were very well maintained, clean, and orderly. I will definitely visit again. 🎂🍽️
Food was delicious. Filet mignon steak was cooked to perfection, I had mines medium and it was nice and crispy on the outside and soft like butter on the inside. It was seasoned well. Had garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus as sides. They were delicious. I ordered a lobster Mac n cheese also that was ok. The cheese blend was a little off. The blueberry monitor was good too. The cheesecake was good.
Delicious, everything. Drinks, appetizers, entrées, sides and of course dessert. Celebrating a birthday and enjoyed the whole experience. Manny and Danny were a great team that made us feel very special. Worth every penny!
I had an incredible experience working with Jordyn Gascoyne in planning a 30-guest birthday party lunch for my daughter here. I would highly recommend this location and facilities, as the ambiance was gorgeous, the food was incredible (as you would expect!), & the value was sooo much better than other restaurants - including complimentary menu planning, cake cutting, parking, extra tables and patio, etc. Jordyn went over and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect and deserves a A++ in communication skills and follow-through. She wasted no time in getting everything right while I was coming in from out of state. I would host an event here in a heartbeat again.
First time here— Ailee was the best!! She took amazing care of us & gave us 10/10 recommendations from wine to cut. Food was fantastic. J.P. was kind and made our experience smooth. We’ll be back!!
Marvelous job from valet parking to the moment you walked in the restaurant, you get greeted with a smile. Overall experience i give it a 10 out of 10 service, food 10 out of 10, atmosphere 10 out of 10
EVERYTHING about this restaurant was amazing!!! They all made my husband's birthday so special!! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was spectacular. Our waiter Loren wonderful and made it a night we will never forget! Can't wait to come back here for our anniversary and I will definitely ask for Loren to be my waiter again
10/10 service and food Best steak I've ever had hands down Apps and desert were perfect Staff was insanely kind and professional Worth every penny
I love going to Ruth's, the servers are all awesome, most of them memorize my orders. The steaks are amazing and so are all the sides. I have come here many many times and the food, service, and ambiance are always very consistent.
Just a wonderful engaging staff here! Great happy hr deals from 4 to 6! I walked 35 mins to here as I have always enjoyed this chain each city I get a chance to be at a Ruth's Chris.
The food was amazing and cooked to perfection! The lobster mac was very rich, the crème brûlée tastes wonderful, and everything we ordered was just as impressive. I’ll definitely be back for another great steak.
I've enjoyed dining here many times. The service and food quality are still outstanding and worth the premium cost. The restaurant's atmosphere balances casual and upscale, ensuring a comfortable and relaxed dining experience. The lively yet not overly noisy dining area and the friendly and attentive staff consistently enhance the dining experience. The menu showcases many of my favorites, including great starters. The Chef's Features include seasonal items and an extensive drink menu to suit any palette with wines and house cocktails. 🥃 You can't go wrong with any of the cuts offered for the mains, but my go-to is the Ribeye. I order medium rare, and it's well seasoned--sometimes over-buttered for my taste, but enjoyable. For side dishes, creamed corn, lobster mac n cheese, garlic mashed potatoes, cremini mushrooms, and creamed spinach are my favorites. The Ruth's Classic is a personalized prix fixe menu where you can choose a starter, main, side, and dessert for a set price. My favorite desserts are cheesecake, creme brulee, and bread pudding. There is always room for dessert. If you celebrate a special occasion at Ruth's Chris, you're in for a treat. The restaurant goes above and beyond to make your experience memorable, with personalized touches like the celebrant's name(s) on the menu and a complimentary dessert.🍰 Note: A dress code requires business casual and proper attire. No clothing with offensive graphics or language, exposed undergarments, cut-off shorts or tank tops, and remove hats when entering. Hats and team sports jerseys are okay in the bar area.
Waited 8 months to return to have a steak dinner indoor/outdoor patio. Anything but take out(tried it once, it was a flop). I was not disappointed. It was amazing. Went full throttle with tuna appetizer and tomahawk steak. Gabriel our server was awesome. Every bite was savory, perfect, hot, well cooked. All of it was 5 stars.
Food was flavorful and the waiter was attentive! It was a birthday celebration and they sprinkled confetti on the table & provided a birthday card. They already had it setup as we walked to the table. The pomegranate martini was spot on. It's rare to actually taste alcohol in a mixed drink now & days so this drink it was 👌
Nice environment for a cosy dinner wish love ones. Had the set dinner each and we are so full. Portion of food is usually too huge for Asians everywhere. Unless, of course we are big eaters.
This was my second time at a Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse and it was by far the best dining experience I’ve had in a while. My fiancé booked the reservation and it was my birthday dinner. The first thing the hostess did after seating us was spread some happy birthday confetti on the table which was a nice touch and we were treated like gold from there on out. Noah, who provided us with our water and handled our dishes was outstanding and our server Eric O. may have been the best server I’ve ever had period! He recommended serval different wines for my fiancé and provided her samples of each which was a very nice touch, as we are Canadian and they were all nice Californian wines. We both ordered the combination dinners with an appetizer, entree, and desert. I had the lobster bisque, 6 oz sirloin and lobster tail with garlic mash, and the desert was cheesecake which we both had to take home. The steaks were perfectly cooked with the classic sizzling butter plate on arrival and a perfectly seasoned lobster tail! All in all a fantastic dining experience and a real treat for a birthday dinner! Eric O. really made the experience though, I must say!
I had their prefixed meal.Which included an eight ounce prime rib and added on a lobster tail for additional cost, which I cannot remember with a caesar salad and a side of garlic mashed potatoes and my dessert was the chocolate sincake. The caesar salad was excellently dressed and had amazing.Sourdough, parmesan croutons, the steak was slightly overdone, but deliciously seasoned, the lobster tail was amazing. The garlic mash were good. The chocolate suncake was delicious when paired with their manhattan. It was an excellent end of the evening dessert
Brian is the best waiter ever! Makws tou feel valued and welcomed. Very knowledgeable about the special and great on recommendations.
Hands down this is my favorite Ruth’s Chris location out of all the ones I’ve ever visited! The service is top notch and the food is always consistently delicious! Other locations I’ve been to really missed the mark but not this one. They really go above and beyond to make your experience enjoyable. Every time I’ve gone here to celebrate an occasion they always acknowledge it. I love their custom menu’s they print out when it’s a birthday along with the cute little confetti to decorate the table! So festive! Service is 5 star. I’ve never gotten bad service at this location. Each waiter has always been friendly and very attentive to our needs. They always come in and check up on our party to make sure everyone is happy. There is always a manager that comes around to ensure we are having a pleasant experience as well. The food is amazing! Im not really one for steak or seafood (why do I go to a steak restaurant, I know) but honestly their sides are worth it to me. I absolutely love their Caesar salad, i know it’s simple and you can’t really mess that up but theirs really is delicious! Sides I’d recommend are: Lobster Mac and cheese, Sweet potato casserole and their potatoes au gratin! Definitely highly recommend this particular location if you’re in the area and looking for a good high end restaurant to dine at!
Thank you Teri and the staff for making our experience at the Anaheim location so memorable. Cocktails and food were on point. The bar is a hot spot for happy hour. Definitely recommend getting appetizers and drinks if you do hit up the bar. Over all the experience was amazing! Definitely coming back!
We had a great time celebrating our aniversary here. The hostess was very kind and accommodating to our tardiness. Our waiter Manuel knew all about the foods and gave us some great recommendations. The food was absolutely amazing and lived up to the atmosphere presented in the restaurant. 10/10 Oh and Paul the vallet guy snuck in and got us more power mints because I felt embarrassed after taking a bunch already. That guys dope
BEST STEAKHOUSE EVER. If you’re thinking of going here, go!!!!! Eric is absolutely phenomenal, he went above and beyond. Best server we’ve ever had. Steaks and sides were prepared perfectly. The chopped salad was the best salad I’ve ever had before. Atmosphere is beautiful as well. Valet was very nice!
Our favourite restaurant! Our server Gabe was FABULOUS!! His service keeps us coming back! Very attentive, beverage & menu suggestions and overall happy/great attitude. Our order was prepared perfectly! My Cowboy Ribeye charred medium rare was Spot On! Wifey’s Chicken Plate (hold the cheese stuffing) and sides were perfect as well! Even the Valet guys were cool too! Pics tell 1000 words, so I’ll add a few to this review.
We made reservations for a special dinner, they made it very special with custom menus and confetti on our table. We love the service here and the high quality of the food. For appetizers we start with the Spicy Shrimp which is our personal favorite. There is just a sweet and spicy combination that taste so delicious. For sides we order the Lobster Mac & Cheese and Mashed Potatoes, these sides are good sharable portions we never seem to finish them for just two people. Now for the steaks which is the best part, we always order Medium Rare for any steaks we order here. Our favorites are Cowboy Ribeye, T-Bone, Tomahawk Ribeye and we have tried the Porterhouse for two. The steaks is our favorite to order, even though I forgot to take pictures from all the excitement. Also Dessert, this is a must order and we do every time, and that's there Creme Brûlée! Only one time they ran out and we couldn't order it but this dessert is the best creme brûlée and our personal favorite. For cocktails the Raspberry Cosmo and the Gambler's Old Fashion is really good to order. Also they have a very long wine list option and always ask the waiter what they recommend to pair with your steak. For parking they have Valet option or self park which we always do since there is always parking available.
It was my first time here and I heard a lot about this place. The only reason they didn't get a 5 star on service because they forgot to bring my wife and son there drinks, but other than that this place was amazing. It was definitely the best steak I ever had in every way. I will definitely recommend this place for a good time. I bit pricey but that is in the eye of the beholder that's why I shared my receipt so I can get your own opinion on that.
It was a very nice experience! We went for my birthday dinner and they made it very special! They did a special menu, table and card for my birthday to help make it extra special! The food: absolutely amazing Spicy shrimp for appetizer was sooo wonderful and tasty Filet oscar was delicious, the BEST steak i have ever had Crab cakes were very good and full of crab meat and succulent n lovely Berries and creme for dessert was perfect end to a great meal Overall a great experience and so delicious! We will be back for sure!!
Our server Loren was extremely kind and caring. from the beginning he asked if we wanted anything other our drinks to start with. Not like other servers who take your drink order then leave you at the table for a long period of time The host was also very nice and we didn’t wait too long to be seated at our table. We ordered the stuffed chicken breast and the 11oz filet, with the cream spinach, loaded baked potato. Food was fantastic like all Ruth Chris steak Houses. The dining area was very elegant with smooth soft music playing and great vibes for a date night. I would definitely recommend this location because of the fine service we was treated with, and the great food.
From the moment we walked in we knew we were in a place of luxury and class. This spot was not only as good as I expected, no no no, it superseded it!! The steaks were cooked to perfection and the flavor was phenomenal!! You definitely need to order the garlic mashed potatoes and the creamed spinach to go with your order. Our appetizers, the seafood stuffed mushrooms and salad, were tasty and delivered in a timely manner, and staff is very friendly and attentive. To this day i can say with confidence that the steak i ate here has been the best steak i have ever had.
Fantastic service and Delicious food. Our server was so nice and described how the steaks were prepared before we ordered and said that the plates come out to the tables at 500° to ensure the food is hot. I ordered the Petite Filets and Shrimp, and my fiancé ordered the Ribeye. Oh my goodness, if I was able to have the sound on and smellavision you could hear the sizzling and the heavenly aroma that was presented when our meals were ready. Cooked to perfection, and anyway, you like it. I prefer mine well done, and it wasn't tough. It melted in my mouth. The Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Cesar Salad were great additions to our meals. When we walked into the restaurant we were greated with welcoming hellos and one of the hosts asked if we were celebrating anything special and we said our anniversary and then our server asked the same at the table and we said the same. At the end of our meal, our server surprised us with a special treat of Cheesecake and Berries, and on the plate was a lit candle and Happy Anniversary written on the plate. The little things made the evening a very memorable one...
I shared a tomahawk with my wife and child. The mushrooms were amazing. Make sure you get yourself. The lobster Macc and cheese.! The only thing I did not like is that they served my Manhattan in a damn martini Glass.🤦🏽♂️ Luckily, my waiter was able to fix that and make me feel a little bit more masculine by putting it over a cube of ice in a Glass cup.. We will be returning soon.
My husband and I had the pleasure of celebrating our anniversary here recently. Notably, Kellen, our waiter, provided wonderful service and great recommendations from the menu. This man KNOWS this menu inside and out and was a pleasure to talk to. He and his team checked in on us often and made sure we had a good night.
I made reservations for dinner to celebrate a birthday. They sent follow-up emails and even gave me a courtesy call to assure that all would go smoothly. We arrived to a specially decorated table on the patio, complete with a birthday card and a uniquely printed souvenir birthday menu. The dinner was exquisitely Ruth's Chris! Then they topped it off with a complimentary dessert with a birthday wish scripted in chocolate on the dessert plate. The service, the meal and the special touches were outstanding and made for an exemplary experience. Even the valets were great. Ruth's Chris Steak House made a very special event, special-er!
Suprise dinner for my 45th birthday! My honey knows how much I love it here. Food is fantastic, service is such a treat and the atmosphere is perfect every time. We had a pleasant experience and even finished the night off by him proposing after we left! Such a special evening. Couldn't have been better.
We came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary back in Dec and Ruth's Chris did it again. Exceptional service by everyone and the food is superb! Probably the best steak I've ever tasted. I had the chicken and it was delicious as usual. We sat at the bar area and basically had the entire area to ourselves. We went on a Monday evening. My husband had the cowboy ribeye steak. We always go with Mac n Cheese and Potatoes au Gratin Just amazing service from everyone! We have options to dine at and Ruth's Chris is always ours! Thank you for the special dessert at the end. I've never had creme brulee before.
My 1st time and Kelsey was amazing. The Food had a great taste. I ordered the Steak Sirloin, Lobster, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Lava Cake and everything lived up to the Hype. I would definitely go again.
If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience, look no further than Ruth’s Chris Steak House in Anaheim. From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted with warmth, professionalism, and that unmistakable upscale atmosphere that sets the tone for a truly special evening. Our server was an absolute gem, attentive without hovering, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely invested in making sure our evening was perfect. The pacing between courses was just right, and the little touches made the whole experience feel extra luxurious. Whether you’re celebrating a milestone or just want to treat yourself to a flawless meal, Ruth’s Chris in Anaheim delivers on every front!
By far one of the best experiences I've had at any restaurant in California. The staff was very professional, helpful and curtious. From the presentation of the restaurant to the car that's put into everything your order, you clearly can see that love and car that goes into the experience. The food was phenomenal and well worth the price of admission. Definitely will be returning in the near future.
The food was absolutely delicious, I've never had a steak that tasted that good before!! I've never been here and I'm so happy we were able to stop in before heading home. The waitress Jenna was great and did a good job considering how busy they were. I would most definitely recommend the steak and mashed potatoes!! They also make some great cocktails.
I can't recommend this steakhouse highly enough! Located just a short drive from Disney, it was the perfect escape after a long day at the parks. The atmosphere was calm and quiet—such a nice change from the crowds, with an elegant yet relaxed vibe that made us feel right at home. The service was outstanding from start to finish. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. As for the food—absolutely incredible! Every bite was perfectly cooked and seasoned, from the juicy steaks to the fresh sides. The cuts were high-quality, and you could taste the care put into every dish. This place is truly a hidden gem for anyone looking for an exceptional meal near Disney. We’ll definitely be back!
Had a bad experience at the LB location for my birthday a couple years ago, and the ANAHEIM location completely changed my feelings towards Ruth’s Chris. Thank you so much for making the restaurant such a welcoming experience, not only the staff was kind but the guest as well. I really enjoyed my 26th here at Ruth’s.
I have eaten at a handful of Ruth's Chris steakhouses in different states over the years. I must say for my experience, it has never disappointed. Quality and presentation of the food is on point. If wanting to experience a steakhouse and not sure where to go. You find that a Ruth's Chris is in the area. This would be a great "go to" decision.
We always enjoy eating at Ruth Chris. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. The only disappointment we ever have is when eating at one that is near a resort area like Vegas or Disneyland. Part of the experience is the atmosphere. The restaurant clearly posts a dress code (business casual) and yet allows people to enter wearing shorts, tank tops and other beach type clothing.
Had a wonderful birthday dinner at this fancy restaurant. It was an unforgettable experience. The ambiance was elegant and perfect for a special occasion. The steak was cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and just the right doneness. Every dish we ordered was exceptional, beautifully presented, and full of rich flavors.
Ambiance was not bad (Irvine location is a bit better), but the overall service was so much better than the Irvine location. Waiters and staff were attentive. Had the tomahawk - my favorite steak Crab stuffed mushrooms - so good Potatoes au gratin - decent Spicy shrimp - good Creamed spinach - just ok Overall great experience
Celebrated my boyfriend's birthday. He was happy with his 22 oz. Cowboy Ribeye steak, tender and juicy He said that this is his second favorite steak restaurant. I ordered the 16 oz. Ribeye steak. It was tender and juicy but a little too salty. Other than that everything was good.
I have never gone to Ruth’s Chris and been let down. It never fails to disappoint. I usually get the cowboy Ribeye, but I decided to go with a Blue Cheese Crusted NY Strip. It was perfectly cooked to Medium Rare and had a great sear. I order Mac n Cheese for the table and it was rich and creamy, definitely a sharable size.
Always a good time but tonight the staff was very attentive and chill. We came in late and the restaurant was winding down; it was clearly after the dinner rush. Very welcoming and pleasant even though we did arrive late. Sat in the bar which is very comfortable and well suited for conversation with a small group. I didn’t get any photos of our food because we were exhausted and very hungry. It’s worth the stop of your craving meat after a day of park hopping and slamming carbs in Disneyland. We had Kelsey, Christian and Kyle in the bar as servers. I wasn’t mistake free but that’s when real customer service is tested. They took care of everything before it became an issue. That’s very appreciated! They were pros and the food was what we have come to expect from Ruth’s Chris.
Celebrating a birthday 🎂 and it was all good! Reservations at 4 pm worked out perfectly for a party of 12 as it wasn't packed. The cooks had plenty of time to get the temperature right for all of our steaks, and there was enough seafood to make it smell like a fresh fish market for the appetizers. The servers were attentive and responsive, and the manager greeted the table and the cake came out at the perfect time. Flawless execution.
We chose Ruth's Chris Anaheim for dinner to celebrate a birthday. The medallions with shrimp, petite filet with shrimp, and 16 oz ribeye were the best dinner we ever had! Prepared and served with perfection! Our table was specially decorated, complete with a birthday card & dessert. The Crab Cakes and Crème Brûlée so delicious! Our server, Teri & her crew were very attentive to our needs. General Manager, Ryan Williams introduced himself and had time to constantly checkup on us. Even their valet, Jonathan was so courteous! Indeed, the dinner was exquisitely Ruth's Chris! The service and our meal & cocktails, with special touches, were definitely one of the best in fine dining. Thank you for making our evening extra special!
A wonderful dinner for the four of us. I would recommend that you get here early and make a reservation. We had a delicious bite to eat after a long day on the show floor. Everything was delicious. We had Filet, sea bass, roasted chicken, crab cakes, caesar salad, chopped salad, French onion soup, brussel sprouts, au gratin potatoes and mashed potatoes. Plus drinks before dinner. My only regret is that I forgot to take more pictures.
I came here to celebrate my wedding and it was exactly what I expected. Everything was so amazing. They made us and our families feel so special, sprinkling confetti on the table, congratulating us, and making sure everybody's needs were met. The service and food were exceptional, I regret not getting our servers name. I loved every minute I was there. I loved the atmosphere, it was dim quiet and comfortable, with REAL candles on the table which I thought was awesome. If you haven't dined here you are for sure missing out.
From the hostess who invited us in to the bartender and then our waiter,,, we could not have had a more perfect dining experience. The place was warm. The food was just great. My wife & I had the filet mignon & lobster with the crabmeat stuffed mushrooms. How could you not like that? I can't wait to go back. See you there.
First time here and this place was amazing!! I took my wife here for our anniversary and they made it special. The table was done up extra for us to look special as was the menus. The food was delicious and the service was great. Highly recommend this place. Worth every dollar spent.
Celebrate a friend's birthday. Had private dining area. Great service! Had the sea bass and would have it again. Our friends had the lamb chops, filet. All were cooked to perfection. Try their incredible New York cheesecake. Heaven on earth.
Entered the restaurant around 7:30 p.m. and was offered seats at the bar, which we gladly accepted. We were immediately greeted by Warren, who provided excellent service throughout the evening. He was very attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. His coworkers, Keeled and Tyler, were also great and worked well together as a team. Overall, a wonderful experience! Also was sure to let Manager Eric know, what an amazing staff he has.
Had a great experience here celebrating my daughter's birthday. The service was great and attentive. The kids menu was good enough to order myself. The Cowboy Ribeye was cooked to perfection and the quality of the steak came through on every bite. Exceeded my expectations, especially for a large chain brand.
Highly recommend making a reservation on OpenTable, otherwise as a walk-in you are seated at the bar. Early dinner times are the best. $9 Valet parking is unavoidable but payable via cash or card. Out of all of the locations we have visited. This is the only one with a kids menu.
We came in on a whim and we were promptly accommodated by the hostesses, very polite and professional staff. Our server Anna was the sweetest and we had a great dining experience despite some equipment mishaps in the kitchen. The food was great, I definitely recommend this place as a special occasion treat. I was not expecting to have a salad and brussel sprouts be my favorite thing at a steakhouse but here we are. That's not to say the steak wasn't amazing, it's just that the dishes are great.
Service is great! Food is good but I've had better steak and mashed potatoes elsewhere. Worth a try if you're curious. They were sweet to give me a bday dessert! Enjoyed the atmosphere.
This is my first time to Ruth Chris. I liked the ambiance of this restaurant. The vaulted ceilings and large windows gave it a nice open feel. The service was good but could gave been better. I felt a little rushed on my courses being brought out. My center cut steak was good but it lacked sear and seasoning. My sides were good but was not top notch as expected. I guess my expectations were set high since I have been to other steak houses of equal quality. I would say that my top rankings in Socal would be Duane's, Flemings, Mastros and Ruth Chris. Don't get me wrong, their food is great, but i wasn't blown away.
For a place that is known for great steaks I was underwhelmed. I ordered from their prix fixe menu and asked for the 6oz filet, medium and the lobster tail, garlic mashed potatoes, and crème brûlée. The steak & lobster came out with the signature butter on top which held bc the temperature of the food wasn't hot. The mashed potatoes had very little garlic flavor and the consistency was very loose like either they're fake or they are trying to stretch them out which is ridiculous for a cheap starch. Very disappointing! I returned the steak and lobster, the kitchen reheated the steak which made half of it overcooked and the lobster was better but stringy. Although the manager, Ryan, came over and even gave me fresh potatoes, they were still flat and loose. The only good thing with no complaint was the dessert, which was filled with yummy vanilla bean. My guest has the T-bone with the truffle crust added and a side of Brussel sprouts. There was way too much "truffle crust" on top, she couldn't even find the bone and it was pale like it could've used a quick toast in the salamandor. The sprouts were dark with color but also not at temperature. Why??? We were the second people in the place and I don't know the food came out so shoddy. For the prices it was not worth the trip. Richard, our server, was kind, patient and fun and even helped me find a wine that they didn't charge me for but it's not enough to make up for this very expensive meal. The couple sitting behind me was celebrating an anniversary, which is lovely, but it was such a distraction bc staff was constantly going to their table to talk with them, again is nice, but when you're trying to enjoy your own conversation it was very distracting. Overall I feel this was not a good experience for us and if you have high expectations for this fine dining experience you should probably try Mortons.
Excellent service and classy atmosphere. The tomahawk was a great attempt. It first came out rare in the middle and they offered to refire it but it came back overcooked. It was also bland. The staff were very accommodating and I was able to enjoy a ribeye and chop salad. I would come back again for dinner maybe not go for a tomahawk.
This place is really nice we didn’t have to wait to be seated and the food was hot and delicious. The place isn’t cheap, so be prepared to spend some bucks on those steaks. If you really like steak houses you should try this place. The meat terms where perfect and the service was good. They also serve lobster, but we were there for the steaks. The calamari appetizer has a kind of Asian sweet sauce that reminded me of the Asian zing sauce from Buffalo Wild Wings. They tasted really good. Enjoy!
The first time eating at Ruth's Chris Steaks house. We are here for Birthday with a friend. We have a reservation. The host are really nice and take care of us good. We come early and we went to their bar and order two drink from the bartender and they're really nice and helpful too. They help us explaining the dinner menu and what is good too eat. Overall, my experience at Ruth's Chris is excellent. Everyone work there is really nice and very professional. The food is overall good too. Love the compliment bread is good with butter. Thanks, everyone work their keep doing a good job.
It was my first time going to Ruth Chris and we really enjoyed our food! It was a Tuesday night around 7 pm and the place was packed! The atmosphere was nice and people were have a good time. And the restroom was clean. Also the staff was welcoming and friendly. Im giving four stars because our reservation was at 630 and we didn't get seated until 15 to 20 minutes later and had to stand outside in the heat. Also, there were nats and fly buzzing around our table which was annoying.
The staff was amazing!!! Loved the bartender Loren, the bar back Richard? And our waiter who said he was Portuguese (don't recall name). Beautiful restaurant! Valet was a reasonable price ($4). I sat at the bar at 8:45pm waiting for our table (we booked our reservation online for 9pm) and I asked the host to inform me at the bar, where we were waiting, when it was ready. Come 9:33pm I went to the front to see how much longer, and it appeared to me we had been forgotten. I say this due to the surprised expression I recieved in response to my question and prompt immediate seating thereafter. We were greeted by a man that introduced himself as our waiter, who was replaced by another within a few minutes later (but this first waiter was still waiting the table next to ours) which seemed odd. Felt like we were being handed off, passing the buck, but the second waiter was excellent. There were a lot of birthday guests. I think we heard the birthday song 3 times during our meal. Must, must get the shrimp cocktail! The shrimp were Giant, Meaty and the cocktail sauce had a slight tang to it, just right. The mashed potatoes looked pretty aesthetically, but were flavorless and bland. I'm guessing may have low sodium for heart healthy guests? I'd like to suggested adding cream cheese to the potatoes maybe, to help with texture and taste. I asked for my steak to be cooked medium rare and it was very rare, not bloody mind you. It was more like a seared ahi tuna appetizer texture and taste, verses a juicy fillet mignon I've had in the past vists. I did not ask it to be cooked further since I wasn't going to finish it and figured we'd be better off reheating it at home. I just ate the cooked ends off, but this did effect my overall experience along with things mentioned here and others I did not add because I really like it here and therefore I gave one less star. Upon retrospect, I should have just had them cook it some more. The fruit on top of the creme brulee I ordered could have been prettier, the sliced strawberry on top looked less than appetizing, dark and wilted on the outside. The dessert itself had a feather thin sugar surface and was heaven once you dived into it, true bliss. Maybe it was just an off night or I'm being too critical. I guess I just expect quality when I spend over $230 on a meal for two not including tip, but other than that, it was enjoyable and fun. We're excited to try the sweet potatoe casserole and split chicken next time.
Food is still very good. But it used to be great. Very expensive, but you would expect it to be. Service was great, expecially after we ordered a pricey bottle of wine.
Steak houses are generally not my thing, but I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised with how good the food was. For the table we ordered the asparagus (which no one touched), the au gratin potatoes, which were absolutely delicious and the best side, the crab cakes were okay, and unfortunately the goat cheese and artichoke dip could have been a hit, although it was barely lukewarm. For the main course, I ordered the 16 oz NY strip - it’s a lot of meat!!!, and the baked potato. My steak was sizzling and perfectly seasoned. The baked potato was loaded w sour cream, cheese, bacon bits, and green onion which was also super good. We were there for over three hours. Our server, Cory was incredibly attentive so bonus points for that dude.
We had a reservation for 12 but were unfortunately split between two tables in a very busy section of the restaurant. While the ambiance was beautiful, it felt overcrowded. The cowboy ribeye was good, though the creamed spinach didn’t quite live up to expectations given that it’s a Ruth’s signature dish. On the bright side, the green tea was delicious. Overall, the plating could use some improvement.
Buena comida y buen servicio... Eso sí, sitio con un ticket por persona elevado. En general, todo está rico/bien. Mi favorito de la zona con Roy’s.
I give total 3 stars for this dining experience. That includes 1 star for the dining environment and two stars for the services. The server is super friendly and professional, very patient to answer all the questions, we really happy with his service. However, the food is just ok. Steak is under done and fish is too greasy. But overall is ok. No stunning dishes.
We had Ribeyes, cowboy Ribeyes, house salad, and diced potatoes with three cheeses. Both Ribeyes were a bit overcooked as we ordered them medium rare but it came up around medium. Also, the cowboy Ribeyes I got has too much fat strip that can be too oily. However, the classic three cheese daho potatoes are surprisingly tasty as it is not too salty and the texture of the potato is very smooth. Good service and good dining environment despite the valet parking staff can be more friendly. Overall, average steak dining experience but really has room to improve.
Felt judged as soon as we walked in...our server was excellent and food was great, yet upon arrival the hostess and the other ladies there looked us up and down and seemed friendlier with the other guests in suits...I guess Texas boots are frowned upon...oh well, part of the experience.
Well, this place is hyped for its steaks, but I can't say much in that regard, since we went there for Thanksgiving. We had the traditional turkey, etc., which was okay, but the portions were small. The pumpkin cheesecake was bland with few spices detectable. As for the service, it was maddeningly slow, so much so that they gave us two free dinners in compensation. We ened up spending a lot of time and money for a dinner we could have gotten at The Black Bear Diner for a third of the price. My advice is to go somewhere else for Thanksgiving.
We wanted to have a "fine dining" dinner as part of our 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration. We decided on Ruth's Chris Steak House. We had reservations for 5:30 pm, this past Thursday (22nd). When we walked in "on-time" there was no one in the waiting area and only about 20 people in the dining area. I let the young lady know we had arrived and she said, "we have you checked-in". Since there was no one else in the waiting area we just stood there "presuming" we'd soon be seated. We were about six feet from the three young ladies who were just talking among themselves. A couple of other small groups of people arrived "without reservations" and they were directed over to the bar area. About 5:40 pm I finally asked one of the ladies if there was a problem with our reservation. She looked at her computer screen... picked up a couple of menus and smiled and said, "follow me." Again... one one else was in the waiting area... just us. I give the Ruth's Chris Steak House reception staff a 1-STAR for being so unattentive. The dining experience was much better. The Seafood Tower Appetizer (see photo) was beautifully presented and the Shrimp and Lobster were some of the best I can remember. My wife's Filet Mignon was perfect - she loved it. My Ribeye was not as good as expected and certainly not worth $71.00. It was cooked properly, but way too much seasoning. I've had better tasting Ribeyes at Lucille's Smokehouse. I decided to indulge in the Bread Pudding for dessert. It was so, so, so good! The best I've had. My wife and I enjoyed our dinner together and it was an overall pleasant experience. I'm not sure it was worth the $365.00 (including tip) for the two of us, but the evening was our celebration and we had wonderful conversation and strolls down memory lane. Thanks for reading this looooong review - you should be commended.
We came during happy hour and was able to find seating for 4, during the NAMM show. The drinks were delicious, bartenders friendly and attentive. I think we ordered almost all the happy hour items, in addition to our meal! However, the crostini that came with the appetizer was tough and chewy. We brought it to the attention of a bartender, who mentioned it to a coworker. It took us telling another server that the bread was tough for something to change.
Of the 6 us, 3 had to return their steaks to be cooked further, they were pretty rare. One of the three had to return their steak two times! So consequently we were all getting our food at different times which was unfortunate because we were there to have a celebration. In addition, I split a baked potato with another person and when they brought back her steak after cooking it further they had thrown away her baked potato! They offered to bring out another but by that time we just wanted to eat our food and move on. In response to what was occurring we were informed that we could upgrade our desserts that were included already in our special pre fix meal. So they brought out all the deserts however they fail to bring out the bread pudding for one of the guests. After we flagged our waiter to alert him it was brought out but everyone was finished with their dessert so we had it wrapped to go. All of the foregoing coupled with the fact that no one came back to see if we needed more water was very disappointing. This is a steakhouse and expect they know how to cook a steak. One of the steak dinners, an appetizer, and the dessert upgrade were comped. I would think twice before returning. The birthday celebration was married by the poor experience.
They sat us 4 old lady's in the bar area due to convention in town. Even tho we made reservations weeks ago. The bar area was so crowded people talking loud, guy standing so close to me I could have touced him. It was horrible. I couldnt hear anyone at our table. I will never sit in bar area again,if I ever go back!
So everything was cooked well. Unfortunately everything was under seasoned. For the amount of money that was spent. The portions in my opinion where underwhelming. The atmosphere was okay. But again for the amount of money that you spend there. It is definitely overrated. I have to say that I had the creme brulee and the cheesecake. The creme brulee, unfortunately it tasted to me like regular pudding. And the worst thing on the menu to me is the cheesecake. To me it was awful. We spent almost $400. For two people I was not satisfied. I was actually pretty disappointed. This is not to deter anyone from going. It's simply my experience.
La comida es buena pero el costo es muy elevado, la limpieza puede mejorar, en nuestra mesa había platos y tenedores sucios y los meseros no se habían dado cuenta.
Prices are crazy high and not commensurate with the experience. Our ribeye ordered med rare came out black and blue. The flavor was good, but the meat was way undercooked. The filet and lobster combo ordered medium came out dry and way overcooked. Caesar salad was huge and plenty for two adults. They'll split it for you in the kitchen by request. Mashed potatoes and asparagus were tasty, but portions were skimpy for the price. Wines by the glass were reasonable, but cocktail prices are high and nothing special. We've enjoyed RC for 30+ years and have eaten at their restaurants all over the US. Sadly, after giving them numerous chances over the past few years, I think we're done. For a $350 meal, we expected much, much more!
I visited Ruth’s Chris to celebrate a significant birthday, expecting the exceptional service and experience that has become synonymous with this restaurant. Unfortunately, tonight fell far short of those expectations. When we were seated, I discovered a large spider in my glass. This was not only unsettling but frankly, unacceptable. I’m grateful I noticed it before the glass was filled, but the situation was both unpleasant and concerning. Additionally, the busser on the floor seemed visibly upset about something, which translated into an unprofessional demeanor. He slammed our dishes on the table and handled them roughly, creating a tense and inappropriate atmosphere. When dining at an upscale establishment, you anticipate a level of professionalism and a commitment to guest satisfaction. Sadly, this was not the case tonight. Despite bringing these concerns to the attention of our server and management, the response was limited to a simple "I apologize." While I understand mistakes can happen, proper service recovery is crucial, especially when the dining bill exceeds $200. As someone who works in hospitality, I know the importance of ensuring a guest’s poor experience is promptly and meaningfully addressed. Unfortunately, no discount, compensation, or gesture of goodwill was offered. This lack of effort to make things right was deeply disappointing and fell short of the high standards associated with this restaurant. On a positive note, the gentleman at the host stand was exceptional. He listened, empathized, and made me feel valued as a guest. His professionalism stood out and was the one highlight of an otherwise disappointing evening. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and focuses on improving service recovery protocols to ensure future guests receive the quality of experience Ruth’s Chris is known for.
The salmon i ordered blackened, they forgot ,the food came together and we were celebrating aniversary ,I did not say anything to the waiter bc now everything would been delayed and my spouse food would be cold. Manager came and said hello ,I mentioned something about the salmon but he moved on with conversation about him self. Im frequently going to other locations because I travel and food and service much better.
Came in for dinner after working a long day at the Convention center. I travel a lot for work and it's not uncommon for me to choose certain brands because of the consistency. I ordered there three course meal deal. My entree cam before my salad, which I didn't touch because I wanted to eat my steak at the right temperature. When I finished my meal, it took a long time for my plates to be cleared and my dessert never came. So essentially, I paid for a three course meal, and received the entree and appetizer, I got one course. The manager did comp my drink and the bartender comped a 2nd, which was kind. TBH, I blame the kitchen more than the servers, but ultimately gave the service one star because I can distinguish between the kitchen staff and the wait staff here. The drink gesture was nice, but tbh I still think I overpaid for my experience. I'm an event planner. I schedule 2 or 3 dinners a month nationwide and often book at locations like Ruth's Chris, Morton's and Fleming's. After tonight, it's going to be a while before I consider a RC again.
Ok, so let me start off by saying it wasn't all bad, but man was it a bad experience.we ordered a bottle of wine, btw its a $10 bottle of wine that they sell for $50+ We waited for over an hour for our food, we Ordered the 40oz porterhouse for 2, those cooks do NOT know how to cook steak. I asked for medium well, they brought it to me very rare, I sent it back to be cooked longer, waited and they brought it back to me still rare, also they ran out of butter and used a nasty alternative on a plate, it was tasteless and pointless, the steak was tasteless and was un-seasoned....so the manager came over and apologized, gave us a free dessert. The creme brulee was good, the rest of it was ok. I think this is just another overpriced restaurant that is not worth it.
