The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Anaheim Reviews
I went to another location yesterday and had the worst experience ive ever had at cbtl. Today I came to this location for the first time and the baristas here were so welcoming and friendly. Tucker especially and I cant remember the other two lovely ladies names but they went above and beyond to make this a positive experience. It really made my day :) I really appreciate their customer service and friendliness. I recommend this location above others in the area if you are in the area. And they made my drink perfect.
I did a mobile order, it was ready when I arrived. I was greeted by staff. Closest off site coffee place outside of Disney. I recommend
Great spot. I love The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, so it was a wonderful surprise to find one very near the Anaheim Convention Center. It's just a 2 minute walk from the Arena, up Katella Blvd. Coffee is excellent as usual. Had a Hazelnut Latte. Delicious. No ice blended mocha for me today. Maybe next time. This is a great stop for a drink and food before heading to Disneyland or the convention center.
Great little coffee spot!! The coffee is excellent and the food is delicious. Highly recommend the Vietnamese coffee. Another great thing is that they are powder based and not syrup based! Additionally, I dropped a yogurt outside and they game me a brand new one 🙏🏽. Staff are fantastic.
Stopped by every day of my short work trip here around 7am. The Vietnamese latte will do the job for a long hard day!! Also tried the Aloha cold brew with macadamia cold foam which was also great. Hardly any wait during the week - different story on the weekend but still fast moving with extra staff to accommodate. Really good coffee
So I discovered this joint as the closest caffeine fueling station on a recent trip. I'm kinda in the know when it comes to coffee, in case you didn't know.... Well, this place did it. I'm not going to tell you that they have the best coffee I've ever had, because they wouldn't let me make my own. And we all know mine is probably the best there is! HOWEVER; They DO have the best freaking Iced Matcha I've had to date!!!! It was freaking delicious. And yes, I had at least one, every. single. day..... Also, I had a friend confirm this claim if you were curious. You're welcome. GO HERE AND GET A FREAKING ICED MATCHA!!! (dirty of course, is there another way...?) (And no, I won't provide the hand models number from the photos)
I've been visiting this location since I moved here. I only visit supply chain coffee shops when they have promotions or coupons. Parking: They're located alongside the Springhill Suites by Marriott. There are parking spots behind the hotel. There are only four designated parking spots for Coffee Bean Customers. If I can't find a Coffee Bean parking spot, I always park in the hotel's 20 min pickup/drop off spots or in front of CVS. Ambiance/Environment: The location is convenient for tourists. There is no drive thru. They have a small space with a few indoor seating. It's more so a quick grab-n-go. Service: The cashiers and baristas are simply nice and efficient. Throughput is quick after ordering. Drinks: My go-to is the Cookie Butter Latte. On occasions, I'll try their seasonal drinks. Sometimes it's a hit or miss. I don't expect much from their foams. It's light and sweet, but it disappears after a few sips. Their coffee basically does the job for a quick coffee fix. Pricing: Prices are as expected from supply chains. Highly recommend joining their rewards app to receive points, promotions/coupons, and birthday rewards.
Felt a lil disappointed when coming into the Coffee Bean today. Wanted to order several different pastries but almost everything was out of stock and unavailable. What we got was warmed up, my drink was warm and tasty but nothing to brag about. All the tables were dirty and hadn’t been wiped down, so we had to clean it ourselves, which isn’t the end of the world, but a clean table is nice. Both employees didn’t seem overly excited to be working. Also, wanted to use the bathroom before we drove home but it was occupied the whole time we were there (one bathroom for the restaurant).
I’m not a regular to this place but their cold brew coffee is very strong and has a bitter taste. If you like Starbucks’ cold brew, then you won’t like this one. Their coffee cake is not bad but I would definitely not order it again! This place has created this nice mood for a chillax mood. The music is perfect and the setting is smart. I like the service too; the pm shift staff were friendly and hard-workers. Hats off for the customer’s service of this branch - well, it’s the closest one to DisneyLand so it gotta have good services. In a nutshell, I recommend this place but not the cold brew coffee not the coffee cake. I may return one day and try their hot drinks with bagel or something. If you’re in the area, come to relax, sit back, and surf the social media. Or write a review about your experience :)
Drinks were delicious, especially the Mexican hot chocolate latte. Try a different location though as the staff members here are unpleasant. I like to be able to ask questions about the menu without getting an attitude about not being ready to order. Tea flavors are very unique and asking about the flavors they offer should be allowed. I gave up on asking for a stopper because they were so rude.
Damn, the employees make me feel bad for just walking through the door!! Isabelle (?) was especially rude, unable to even answer questions over the phone without giving extreme attitude - and then being even more rude once I got there in person. Tried to order an espresso and a coffee... she wouldn't listen to me specify my order - and gave me shit when I told her she input the wrong order! Why even hire someone who acts like that?!?
The morning crew here seems miserable. Not pleasant or welcoming at all. No smiles, no greetings, nothing. They literally just look at you when you walk in. I was in town for a conference and came in 5 days straight so it definitely wasn't a one off. Better option than the hotel coffee tho so there's that.
This was our second morning in here, both morning they were so rude to us & scoffed at any question we had. The second morning we came in and were getting ready to order & my dad asked for the code for the bathroom, the lady looked at him rolled her eyes and said the code. I ordered my food and paid $17 and asked the barista why I paid that much. Turns out he placed two separate coffee for me , when I got both drinks the lady rudely said you ordered this so we made it. So we asked if I could get it remade and a refund for the drink I didnt want & she rolled her eyes & tried telling me I need to take the drink and pay for it anyway. Twenty minutes later my drink still wasn't ready & he handed me the drink I put back that was sitting in the counter still incorrect. I understand stressful jobs but I wasn't asking anything crazy- its a shame people are so miserable so they treat people so miserable.
Zero stars on everything; the place is dirty. When we arrived employees were talking to each other without doing anything related to work. I asked for a cup of water for my daughter and they wanted to charge us for it + their bad attitude. In general, this place sucks…
I totally understand having a great time at work , but there is a time and a place for chatting . Coffee is great just make sure the employees get your order correct . And not even apologize is baffling. No point in ordering online seeing that you still would have to wait 20 minutes when you get there after the 30 minute order ahead of schedule .
I had a terrible experience with the customer service at Coffee Bean. Except for the guy at the cash register, the rest of the staff needs proper training. The lady who claimed to be a supervisor was the worst. Her behavior was unprofessional, and she treated the customers very poorly. I tried a blended drink for the first time, and it made me feel sick. When I politely asked her to remake it or give me a refund, she refused and displayed a bad attitude. I would have even accepted a refund and left, but she didn't offer. Their customer service is the worst I have ever encountered. I hope they recruit more staff who know how to handle customers better. Furthermore, they need help with cleaning the tables and disposing of trash. I have attached some photos, and you can see that the lady who gave me poor service has multicolored hair. Coffee Bean, please train your staff in customer service or hire employees who understand it. What happened to your customer service? You can't even call the corporate office. It's way past the pandemic, and at least with Starbucks, you can get ahold of someone and give feedback on good or bad service. Coffee Bean has gone downhill, and that's really sad. The staff doesn't care because they say they're all managers when they're not, and they know there's no way to call corporate, so they can get away with anything and be mean. It's just like your local coffee house. Nobody cares anymore, and that's very disappointing. Please hire people who care or just fire everyone.
