I was in the area with my husband. We found Midesta was nearby, and decided to try it! I am so glad we did! It felt like we were invited into Marwa’s home for dinner, not paying at a restaurant! We were welcomed so warmly, and Marwa made sure she made our food exactly how we wanted! I got the Gyro bowl with Tzatziki, and I was more than satisfied with the generous portion! It was fresh and delicious! My husband got Philly steak in a pita with hummus either a side of fries. He loved it! Those fries were seasoned to PERFECTION and we both thoroughly enjoyed them! The other gentlemen employees were also very warm when they arrived! We will be back - for the food of course, but especially for the hospitality!!!! Thank you!

The food was amazing and fresh! The lovely woman running the place made sure she got our order perfect! The place was clean, very homey, and the rest of the staff who came in towards the end of our dinner was also very warm. The prices were more than reasonable with how BIG the portions are! Been wanting to try this place since it opened and it did not disappoint! We had the hummus app, a Greek salad with falafel and the shawarma wrap. Everything was delicious and the restaurant was clean and inviting. I could have used a little more pita bread based on the size of the hummus serving, but it was still so good!

Excellent new restaurant for Mediterranean food in Smyrna. Great spot near Sam Ridley and Old Nashville. Food was fresh and excellent, ordered a chicken shwarma bowl where I could build my own with toppings. Met the owner who was very kind and helpful in making a suggestion. Highly recommend this new spot.

My husband and I went here for the first time on a date and enjoyed the extremely warm service from the lady running the place! She was so sweet and made sure our food orders were perfect. I had the chicken plate and he had the spicy shawarma wrap and it was all super delicious! We will be back for sure!

Last week, my boyfriend and I were out Christmas shopping and decided to grab something quick for dinner on our way home. We were in a part of town we don’t usually visit, so we wanted to try a local mom-and-pop restaurant rather than a chain. Lately, we’ve been loving shawarma wraps and gyros, so that’s what we were craving. Midesta in Smyrna was the closest spot offering shawarma, and we’re so glad we found it. When we arrived, there were only two people running the restaurant, and we learned they had just opened their business. We ordered two chicken shawarma wraps, falafel, and hummus with pita, and everything was phenomenal. The food was fresh, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. I would strongly recommend Midesta and will definitely be back the next time we’re in the area!

The owners we very nice and attentive. The hummus was very tasty. I would prefer more Peta just because the portion size was a lot, but really enjoyed it. My top 5 fav hummus for sure. I got the lamb bowl and it definitely did not disappoint. Everything was fresh and even as I was sitting down they were bringing in fresh produce from the market. 8.5/10 will be back for sure!

Absolutely delicious food. Kind staff. Very clean space. The atmosphere is so lighthearted and wonderful. The best pita bread and hummus I have had from anywhere in Smyrna. Highly recommend for friend and family gatherings.

My husband and I tried this restaurant for the first time while we were in town for work. I usually never review restaurants but this one is the exception. This restaurant is good quality and the most authentic Mediterranean food Ive ever eaten in this area. I personally loved the chicken shawarma and my husband had the lamb bowl and we both had hummus, pita bread and our personal favorite baklava! We both have been to Greece and we both agree, this baklava is the best interpretation of baklava in the states. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. We highly, highly recommend this restaurant if your in the mood for authentic Mediterranean food.

Midesta is a new Mediterranean restaurant in Smyrna, TN. The people are super nice and the food is amazing! The owner, Andy takes GREAT PRIDE in his food. I went in one night and he wasn't there initially, but came after my order was in process. He didnt like the way it was made so he told me to come back and he'll make me the best chicken shawarma I've ever tasted. I thought the food was good, so I came back the next day. The fact that he didn't feel good about the way my sandwich was made the prior day, he comped my meal and my husband's meal. Go there! Midesta does not disappoint!
