Passing through and stopped for breakfast. Delicious meal..vegs fresh. Enjoyed Decor and history. Service quick and all very friendly. Would definitely stop here again!!
Stopped here on the way home from visiting in the area. What a change in family owned restaurant's, awesome associate's, awesome food, and great service all the way around, zero complaints.
It was great! We live in Sacramento so we can't come as often as we'd like but every time we come camping we always stop in for breakfast. Today my husband ordered a club for breakfast and he loved it! The food is always good and the servers are great. Today we had Valentina and she was awesome!
This place was so great, we came here twice during our 3-day stay in Scott’s Valley. Not only was the food delicious, but it came out super quick! They had plenty of gluten-free options, the service was excellent, and they were great with our kids too! I had a bacon, cheddar & tomato omelette, my wife and her mom had a potato-egg dish with GF toast, and our kids had mouse pancakes with chocolate chips.
My wife and I come to eat here every year we come up. The food and service are always top notch. Thanks for the outstanding experience.
Best dam breakfast and drink drinks around town fool!
Small cozy place for small group. Food great. Coffee outstanding.
Been eating here since the 70's. The current owner started as a waitress around then. She's kept the quality of the food high. When we show up, she knows we will order the corned beef hash and eggs. It's nice to be remembered ☺️🤗
The atmosphere here is really fun but the seating feels a bit cramped. The staff is really friendly and they are super accommodating of families. The food is delicious and it always smells good here !
Loved the food! A lil pricier than other places nearby, but definitely great food and drinks, locals make it popular.
Outstanding food and service. Friendly staff and very reasonable prices. The food helpings are large, fresh and a good variety. Pictures and photos of local history fill every wall. Family operated for over 30 years and very popular amongst the locals. Highly recommend it !!
Great food and atmosphere. It’s a family owned place and it feels very authentic. Best place to eat in Scott’s Valley.
I loved this cute little place, there’s both indoor as well as outdoor dining , I enjoyed my breakfast here, started with the in-house mocha but I didn’t take whipped cream, mocha tasted very good not overpowering sweet , my husband was really happy with eggs and chorizo and I took the Cajun sausage and eggs. Yummy and great service.
Best waffles and French Toast the Mrs. And I have had in awhile! A bit light on the eggs but that’s how it goes in this economy 😂 Great bacon! Thick cut and great flavor. Big cocktail list as well, great for bringing friends for a catch-up. The mugs for regulars, holiday decor and multitudes of awards, vintage menu from ‘73 bring a homey vibe to it all. Overall, we’re definitely coming back! A community staple.
Looks to be a favorite for locals who know where to find the best reasonably priced food. The interior is a bit dated and seating packed together, but food and service are top-shelf and suitable for tightwads!
This is your classic breakfast and lunch Cafe. Family run, local favorite, and always busy! I had the breakfast enchiladas special, and it was very good! Egg and chorizo inside. Great staff to stay on top of things, and quick with the food. Always a favorite for me when I'm in town!
This was the perfect breakfast/brunch place! We were first greeted with a warm welcome and were seated right away. Upon sitting down, our server got our drink orders and gave us a few minutes to look at the menu. We ordered some of the specials of the day along with a side full order of French toast. All of the food was delicious, and the environment was quite "homey". We will definitely be visiting again!
While in Scotts Valley, a week ago, my family and i decided to stop at Auntie mames for breakfast. The food was excellent! I ordered eggs Benedict with turkey and avocado with fruit and potatoes on the side ( a little too much on the sauce). My family ordered pancakes and burgers they were very pleased with their meal. Service was friendly and fast. The only cons about this place is the parking. It's very hard to get into the small shopping center. Many cars couldn't get in or out, just a heads up. If you are in this area, I highly recommend this homestyle country breakfast spot.
Such a cute place. We googled a breakfast place with biscuits and gravy and tried this place. We ordered biscuits and gravy, spinach, cheese, bacon omelette, French toast with strawberries, link sausage, mouse pancakes for my little, and mixed fruit cups, all of which were amazing!!!!! The place was clean and service was great. No waiting to be seated and there is both inside and outside dining.
Really good breakfast place to go! Excellent and delicious food, friendly and professional service
Heck yeah! Absolutely delicious! I've been hearing about this place and now I know why! Totally on my 'will crave' list! The Eggs Benedict was fabulous as was every morsel of fresh fruit and fantastic potatoes that came with it! Gluten free options, fabulous variety, and home cooking! A++
1st time here, I called and placed a random order to go, breakfast burrito!!! Not what I was expecting. Small place, but nice. When I walked in, I felt as if everyone there knew each other, and I'm the stranger coming into their place. Lol. My order was ready, I paid and went to work. It was there, I opened up my meal, and OMG!!! I didn't get the usual large burrito, but more like the home sized and 2!!! And they were delicious!!!! I highly recommend this breakfast place, fresh and delicious.
Eggs Benedict to die for! House made hollandaise sauce (maybe more like a bearnaise with tarragon?) was excellent. Cool vibe and the ever full diner mug of coffee.
Absolutely delicious food and wonderful service. Cornbread hash was freshly made (not canned), extra point for having, gluten free bread, gluten free pancakes and almond milk for my coffee. Can't wait to go back.
The food here is good, little hidden gem 💎! The service is great, casual homey atmosphere! We will be back 😋
Family owned and operated. Plenty of food and friendly service. We tried the breakfast enchiladas and Chiliquillos and loved them.
Cute spot for home cooked food. Second time in traveled through the area and stopped to eat there. The owner is hands-on and cares about the customers.

I woke up the Monday after the Super Hungry and found this place close to my hotel, and it was just awesome!! Best breakfast I had for a while. Food was cooked to perfection. Service was excellent 5+ stars for sure. If you are in the Scotts Valley area, I recommend this place!❤️😎
This is a great little place Great food, big portions, family run.
Great service! Food is bar-/diner-style & arrived quickly. I ordered the bacon avo bene with homemade biscuit, fruit, home fries. Local patrons are pretty chill. Outdoor seating has sun & shade + festive outdoor decor. They clearly make an effort. I noticed that some reviewers commented on dated decor. I’m actually glad they make things work here instead of feeding into the frenzy of consuming new crap when the existing stuff is clean and functional. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is part of how they keep costs affordable by not wasting their resources on unnecessary expenses. Let’s keep normalizing local action and support of local vibrance.

Good food I had the vegetarian scramble. My mom had the ham and eggs with breakfast potatoes and my brother had the French toast. Everything look great. Service was good. A little bit crowded.

Food was OK. But fruit sticker (the small adhesive sticker with bar code that sellers usually put on fruits) that I found in my fruit bowl ruined whole experience.
Based on reviews, I expected it to be better, the coffee is cold and even though i asked for a fresh one i got the same coffee. Food came out and biscuit was old and broke every time i touched it, potatoes were tasty but a little burnt out. Server didn’t refill my coffee or ask me anything until i finished. Honestly, i wanted to try an authentic place, but expected more. Ps. Cleanliness should be better. Table was sticky and bathroom was not clean

(1.5 because Google doesn't do half stars.) Not worth it anymore. Just recently visited and as I entered the restaurant, I waited to be seated (per the signs). No one greeted us, in fact no one acknowledged our existence. We ended up just standing there awkwardly until I decided 10 minutes of this was enough. I actually was about to seat myself when two workers told me "that table isn't ready yet, hold on okay?". Like sure but you could have said something to us like "it'll be a few seconds for your table". But we got no such treatment. Eventually our table was ready and we were thrown our menus in a "here you go" manner. During our brunch we got 1 refill of coffee, no water after we asked twice, and the overall experience and presentation the woman and man who were running the place seemed very "holier than thou". I highly recommend NOT coming here. The food is good, but the atmosphere and experience is not.
We really were looking forward to trying this restaurant based on the reviews. We went for breakfast. The place is very small and tables are very close together. The wait staff was not very friendly. We ordered the bacon avocado omelet and a short stack pancake. We received a very generous portion of pancakes which were good however our omelette was not what we ordered. Waitstaff seemed out out to fix it. Second go around we still did not receive what we ordered and it was not very good, but at that point we were out of time. We will not be back.
Food was disgusting, I had the eggs Benedict with a biscuit and gravy as well as a side of fruit because I moved here recently I was trying a lot of what I judge a good breakfast place to be. The eggs Benedict was undercooked and the sauce was super lemony and tasted like they made it from a powdered egg substitute or something. The gravy wasn’t bad but the biscuit could’ve broken a tooth despite it soaking in a large amount of gravy. The fruit was like what you’d pick up from vendors after the farmers market was over and would’ve been better for making pies. Just soft and over ripe. The sausage my wife got was good so maybe they can make sausage toast and eggs but I will not be back. I’m only writing this so people do not waste their time. There really isn’t a solid breakfast place in the scotts valley area and I’ve really been trying to find one.

The space was cluttered and cramped, feeling less cutesy and more hoard-y. The tv was blaring loud. The staff - especially the more senior one - was plain rude and seemed to be annoyed by our very presence. The food was bland. How do you burn one piece of toast and barely cook the other? How do you serve huevos potatoes with Pace Pecante as your salsa? Don’t they know that stuff is made in New York City? New York City?!?!
One star is way too much. The younger lady’s. Very nice, but the all lady that took my order was very rude
Well.... other than we felt like they didn't want us there, both our eggs we done way wrong, the toast was barely buttered nor toasted, the bacon was good and we met some really nice customers with an adorable dog
Don’t let all of the five-star reviews fool you. This place is awful. Both of the ladies working this morning had horrible attitudes which I could get past if at least the food was good. It wasn’t.
The service is the worst!! The older service was rude. They ask if we want more coffee and never come back with the coffee. Order steak and eggs, and my steak was disgusting super chewy hard. My son did enjoy his chicken tenders and fries on the other hand.. Oh, and if you are white, the service is totally different they treat you way differently and ask you if you would like coffee refill more time that we can count..
The food is good, but the attitude of the older lady in blond is horrible. We waited outside like the sign says for 10 minutes and no one came out. I finally walked in and that lady came charging like I just crossed the line at area 51. She asked that I wait outside and then when she came out to seat us she just yelled "go" and did not even lead us to the table. When the food came to our table she assisted the server with the plates and you could see on her face she did not want to help our table. If she is the owner she needs to retire and pass this on to her pleasant co-workers or I assume kids.
At first entrance... I didn't feel welcomed, the vibe from the women hosting was off. Despite my gut feeling we sat and ordered food. The elder woman was friendly once she came and took our order... I will say the Restroom was super super clean and smelled fresh, well stocked. Our food... I ordered the #5 hamburger steak and over medium eggs with biscuits and gravy. To drink, coffee. My hamburger steak was not properly cooked. The outside of the steak was delicious and as I got closer to the center it was raw and cold. My eggs were clear white runny, under cooked as well. My coffee was served to me warm. The potatoes were perfect. This place was a disappointment.
