Raliberto’s Taco Shop Arcata Reviews
Everything about Raliberto’s Taco Shop is fantastic. The warm famiy atmosphere, fast service, delicious food at very famiy friendly prices. Thank you and great job!
5 Street taco’s and soda special is good deal @ $14ish dollars. I enjoy the carnitas
Wow, I’m impressed. I got a 5 taco plate (al pastor) to go and I was pleasantly surprised. The meat was very well seasoned and the tortilla seemed better than your typical. There was a generous amount of stuff in the tacos, good limes, a salsa bar with 5 or so choices and the takeaway box was compostable paper! Thank you for not using styrofoam!! The people working there were very nice and I could see them making the food from scratch while I waited. I’ve always liked the outside dinning option at this location. I didn’t look, but I did not notice horchata or any home made drinks and chips would have been nice, but I didn’t ask. After I seeing all the salsa options, I will definitely ask for chips next time.
affordable food with efficient service. out order was prepared quickly even though the restaurant was busy. great food, best enchiladas i’ve ever had !
Absolutely delicious! Fantastic service and food came out quick and piping hot.

Best carnitas burrito I’ve found in the area so far. I can’t speak for all their meats but their carnitas is excellent. Love their late hours, very convenient. Very grateful for this business as I frequent them on a regular basis. If you love carnitas, you’ll love this place!
If you’re looking through reviews and wondering whether to eat here—stop wondering and go! Not only are their prices fair, but the food is absolutely amazing. The flavors speak for themselves, but since I can, I’ll add a few more good things about this spot. The environment is warm and welcoming. Even on the rare occasion that there’s a mistake with your order, the staff is quick to listen and happy to make it right. And the best part? They don’t have to charge $8,000 for a taco. A five-street-taco plate runs about $12–13, which is a steal compared to nearby restaurants. And honestly, even if the prices were the same, the taste here simply wouldn’t compare. So if you’re debating whether or not to try this taco shop, wonder no more—just go!
The 5 taco deal was impressive! They did not skimp on the carnitas, which was a perfect crispy delicious. Limes for every taco. Open salsa bar. More impressed by this little joint than several of the more expensive aquarius. I will preface though it may depend on what you get. I was deterred for a while because the last time I got carne asada it was not the same experience. Could have been the day or the cook though! Ill still be back. :)
They have very good food. I had the 2 taco combination. Chicken tacos were fresh and the rice and beans great. I was very happy with my visit ☺️
I got the Arizona burrito after my uber driver recommended it. It hit the spot and I felt like I was back at home in my grandmas kitchen. Yummm
I keep going back for the carne asada fries, so good and fresh every single time! They load those babies up. My mom loved her fish tacos as well! Don't let negative reviews keep you away from this place! Maybe just avoid lunchtime during the school week cause it's busy busy! ◡̈ But they were still incredibly quick even while super busy!
for it to be a small place. it really surprised me and my wife the food the people. we will be returning

delicious drinks & food. however, at some point there was a wet dog smell in the restauarant, which made it difficult to taste the good taste of the food. the smell may have been from a mop. you order & pay at the counter. you can see the horchata & agua de tamarindo next to the counter. if you order those the cashier gives you the cup first so you can get ice at the soda fountain before he gives you the drink. it is a to-go cup for the drink even if you eat at the restaurant.
Ordered the chorizo with eggs breakfast plate. FYI there are french fries mixed in with the chorizo and eggs. Would try again.

3 stars because the food was mid and the chips and salsa was over cooked chips and a small cup of pico. We paid $4.31 for the chips and salsa.

the dullest of food, even the salsa was watery. the beans tasted like canned beans, a disaster. a Mexican place without tortilla chips, can you imagine? the cashier tried to accommodate but without resources wasn't able to.

I’ve tried giving this restaurant a try several times and every single time they disappoint me with their lack of flavor and taste. We are not that far from the border for an establishment not to understand that seasoning is an essential ingredient in Mexican food. Please take John Smith out of the kitchen and bring in someone who knows Mexican quinine and service because the food you serve is a disgrace. The meat in the image had zero flavoring and was very hard to chew. For the love of god please use some salt…
Order Asada fries took 1 bite realized there was absolutely no meat and my Jaritos soda was missing from the bag. Instantly called and was told I'd have to drive back from McKinleyvile with the uneaten fries to receive a refund. No other alternative was accepted, I even offered to send the pitch of the wack uneaten fries to them, but nope, they need them in person.
Objectively the saddest burrito I've ever had. Bean and cheese burrito was barely luke warm, the tortilla was dry and stale, and the cheese did not melt at all. I'm disappointed. You can most definitely make a better burrito at home, not worth it. The guy who was working there was nice though.

Bummed because I really liked this place, but I have been sick to the point where I can’t sleep and I am in so much pain and the last thing I ate was there number one shredded chicken tacos. Thinking the chicken or whatever it was not good, but basically I got food poisoning and I will not be eating here again. Sad because my children I frequent their often but no more. :( The young girl at the counter when I got my food, she just kinda looked at me weird or as if maybe she knew the food was bad. I don’t know, but I am super sick now.
