I had a curry beef lunch special with chow mein and I thought it was pretty good. There was plenty of meat and it was very flavorful, I really enjoyed the chow mein, the noodles had a very nice bite to them. The service was pretty good, our waitress checked on us at least 3 times and my water never got more than halfway full

Nice building, friendly people, good food. We came in for the first time for the year of the snake lunch. We had the eggplant and chow fun. We will come back. Asked for spicy and it was 🔥. Get the mustard if you need your sinuses drained.

Awesome. This is some of my favorite dishes to get here: the cashew prawns, the mapo tofu, the potato salad and the Chow fun noodles! There are so many great options at this restaurant that meet what I'm in the mood for whether spicy or sweet or even savory.

I've only had the chicken and string beans but it has been good every time. Had it maybe 4-5 times and it is always consistent and has good flavor. Lunch combo is good deal for the price. Food is hot and ready fast.

delicious food. I had broccoli beef, egg rolls, & potstickers. I got takeout, so the food came with soy sauce, sriracha sauce, sweet & sour sauce, & chopsticks. although, some sauce had spilled in the bag and made a mess.

New favorite vegetarian dish in Arcata: Griddle Cooked King Trumpet Mushroom House Special. Tastes like orange chicken, but waaay better, so fresh and drool worthy! Love this place :)

It was excellent as always! This time I went for the fried beef and it was good also. I love the cashew dishes. And I generally go there for lunch and it was very reasonable 😁

The booths are really cool with a nice ambience, I had the combo with chow mein, tofu and veggies in crock, fried shrimp 🍤 and honey walnut prawns 🦐. For $65 it was enough for 3-4 meals including one big one. The servers are nice and the food didn’t take long to come out. Just note they are not doing dine in between 3-4pm, take out only at that time which is the only down side as I’m a mid afternoon restaurant goer

Found this szechuan restaurant on google while staying in Atcata or somewhere like that. We live in Texas and our asian food has suffered a bit. This place was incredible 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ordered spicy beef, shrimp chow fun, pork w/ garlic sauce and spring rolls. Only complaint was no sauce for spring rolls. I always knew all the great chefs stayed in California. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Seriously excellent Chinese place, definitely not something I was expecting to find in Humboldt county when I moved up here. Of all the dishes here I've tried, the mapo tofu is the standout by far. It's super delicious and uses real Szechuan peppercorns, so it's a unique culinary experience for sure. The twice cooked pork is also awesome. Servers have always been friendly, and the food arrives REALLY fast after you order it. I've never had to wait more than 5-10 mins. The interior is nice, with walled booths that offer lots of privacy, dim lighting, and fun decorations. I often find myself going back here to treat myself to a tasty lunch or dinner.

They do not dummy down the spicyness of the food. Love it, whenever we travel to Eureka we eat here!

Good food, nice employees, a tiny bit pricey compared to other spots but over all good and I'll definitely go back.

After traveling for long hours, we were on the hunt for some delicious food and this place was it! The Asian server wasn't very welcoming. He did not bother to check up after giving food. Overall, the food was great.

Cheap good food. The plate are big enough to get two and share with an appetizer and Thai tea, perfect meal for two. The little nook seating is super cute and makes it feel really private. The food comes out fast and the servers are friendly. The bathroom isn’t the best, but not the worst!

The food was good and came out pretty quick. Our 3 appetizers ( pot stickers, spring rolls, coconut buns) were all delicious. The service was good, nice employees.

Having eaten here with a friend plus ordered takeout, I can say that the front-of-house staff are kind and considerate; but the food quality is very uneven, bordering on inedible, depending on what you order. In a recent takeout order, the Mongolian beef was acceptable, but the vegetable noodles were so terrible I wondered, why would anyone serve this to another person? The seasoning was lackluster, half the noodles were hardened like leather (overcooked), and the small number of bean sprouts and broccoli were so overdone they were tasteless and a sick color. It’s really hard to screw up a noodle dish so badly you lose a customer over it. In this case, however, the objective was achieved.

Would NOT recommend. The food is okay, the owner is horrible and rude and condescending: Ordered online. Got a confirmation and a pick up time. Got to restaurant and the order had not gone through (the owner turned on the printer and four orders printed out) so he told us and another patron it would be 20-25 minutes. We decided yo go ahead and have hike place the order again and we would wait. We paid at the time of ordering. 50 minutes later our food was still not ready. The Patron who had ordered ahead of us approached the owner and said he wanted his money back and was leaving. The owner got mad at HIM. Said “I give you money back. But you can never come here again!” The patron tried to explain that we had been told 25 minutes and it was almost an hour. The owner said “well you shouldn’t order food on New Year’s Eve” like it was the customers fault!! I tried to tell the owner “if you would have told us and hour we would have said no thank you and gone somewhere else” he never apologized or acknowledged that he misspoke. He ONLY kept saying “it’s busy. We’re busy. There’s all the good back there.” The food was fine. But not worth the wait and definitely not worth the poor customer service. Congratulations sir, you won’t be quite as busy next time. I know a few of us who won’t ever be placing orders again at your subpar establishment again. Good day.

I ordered a lunch special here before & it was good food/good price. On Saturday , I invited a friend & bought $65 of food. The chicken chow mein had all noodles & barely any chicken. The crab ragoon things didn't even have a teaspoon of cheese stuffing! It was all the crunchy part. The soup was weak in flavor. It was the biggest rip off for $65. No fortune cookie, nothing. Prices are higher on the weekends. We didn't even order dinner. This was lunch! Worst quality of food. Outrageous price for a crappy meal. Never again will I go there. Total ripoff! They should be ashamed of themselves!
