Chamas do Brazil Arlington Reviews
First time at Chamas, and I loved it! Oran was so helpful when explaining the whole process, from the salad bar to the cards. This entire experience was absolutely amazing. The drinks were so good, the meats were cooked to perfection and the salads were light and delicious. 10/10 will definitely be back. Thank you Oran for the awesome service!
Chamas Do Brazil is one of our absolute favorite date night spots. This Brazilian steakhouse delivers consistently excellent food and outstanding service, making every visit feel special. There is a wide variety of gluten-free options, which is especially important for us. Most of the meat selections are naturally gluten free, and the staff is happy to provide a dedicated gluten-free menu upon request. The salad bar is generous, well stocked, and clearly labeled, which allows my wife to feel safe and confident in what she’s ordering — something we truly appreciate. Every cut of meat we’ve tried has been excellent, and honestly, all of them are worth sampling. The servers rotate through the dining room at a steady, well-timed pace — sometimes almost too efficient if we forget to flip our “ready” card over. Service is friendly, attentive, and never intrusive, and while everything impresses, the Picanha is a definite standout. The wait staff across the board is courteous, professional, and genuinely welcoming. From the food quality to the atmosphere and service, Chamas Do Brazil consistently delivers a fantastic experience and remains a go-to choice for a great night out.
We had an excellent waiter ( Steve) and all the other staff was very friendly and personable. They took time to listen to my kids silly jokes and be funny with them. Steve acted as if we were the most important customers he had ever had. I also saw him doing this with his other customers. This made for a great experience. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone.
Authentic Brazilian food and amazing service! I went to Chamas for my birthday and had such a wonderful experience. The staff treated me incredibly well from the moment I arrived — truly outstanding service! The food is authentically Brazilian, and as a Brazilian myself, I can say the flavors felt just like home. Their feijão is unforgettable — rich, comforting, and exactly the kind of taste that brings you back to family meals. Everything was delicious, the atmosphere was warm, and I felt genuinely cared for the entire time. I couldn’t have chosen a better place to celebrate my birthday. Highly recommend! 🇧🇷✨
I had an incredible experience at Chamas do Brazil! The food was amazing—everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. But what really made the night special was our server, Taylor. She was so friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. She checked on us often without being intrusive and made sure we had everything we needed. Her warm personality and excellent service truly elevated our dining experience. I’ll definitely be back, and I’ll be asking for Taylor next time!
A 10/10 experience. Today was my first time in, came for a birthday, and I will definitely be back. Our waitress Jennifer was wonderful and the owner was very kind. He gifted chimichurri and a birthday dessert. Our dining experience was heightened with various sides and acts of kindness from the staff. So good, highly recommend.
We started coming here early in our romance. We've continued to return for our dating anniversaries, our wedding day, and our first wedding anniversary. It's understandably pricey but well worth it for the variety of meats and even the salad bar that has delicious lobster bisque and chilled baby shrimp. The service is exceptiona, too. Gauchos come frequently with meats, and you can request preferred cuts. The servers are watchful to refill bread and water or other drinks.
This was my first time visiting Chamas do Brazil, and I was truly impressed! I’m from San Francisco, CA and was in Arlington visiting my cousin, who recommended this place—and I’m so glad they did. I had heard this was the best Brazilian steakhouse in town, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. From the moment we walked in, the service was a 10/10. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout our meal. The salad bar alone was a standout—fresh, diverse, and beautifully presented. Our server recommended we try the classic Brazilian cocktail, the caipirinha, and it did not disappoint. I especially loved the passion fruit caipirinha—so refreshing and flavorful! To top it all off, we ordered their cheesecake dessert, which they literally set on fire at the table. It was both delicious and a fun experience to watch! If you’re in Arlington and looking for an authentic Brazilian dining experience, Chamas do Brazil is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in town!
Excellent restaurant, we are repeat customers & have an enjoyable experience each time. Salad bar - fresh, well stocked, lots of options. The mushroom risotto & lobster bisque are some of my favorites, with the bisque having a kick to it. Meat Selection - I'll be honest it was all good, picanha was delicious. Their bacon wrapped sirloin was my #1. Dessert - we had the lava cake & walnut cream. The walnut cream was something different & I recommend you try it, almost a butterscotch/toffee taste with fresh strawberries on the bottom. Service was excellent, Nelson was our main guy & he did a great job. Very attentive, all of the staff was truly wonderful. Easy to make reservations online, we got there a bit early & they seated us right away. Nice ambiance & lots of space to walk between tables/salad bar area. Clean establishment & pricing is very fair.
I had never been to a Brazilian Steakhouse and couldn’t wait to try it. I had made reservations earlier in the day. I was impressed with their wine display. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our waiter, Juan, did a great job explaining how the meat delivery system works. Each diner has a card which serves on one side as “stop here and let me try some of that meat” and on the other side it’s “keep going with that meat skewer.” There was about 8 different kind of meats being shopped around on skewers. The salad bar was very nice and offered many options, including soups and rice. You can choose only the salad bar or you can start off your meal with the salad bar and continue to try the steaks, ribs and chicken being passed around. The meats were all delicious although some of them just had too much salt. Even a family member of mine who loves salt thought they were too salty. But it was truly good food, everyone at my table immensely enjoyed it and would not let an overzealous chef ruin it by being salty. The deserts were top shelf and very delish. It was a little pricey but we truly enjoyed the experience and will bring family and friends here in the future. I would definitely recommend this place to all meat lovers.
My family and I have eaten at Chamas several times since they’ve opened and celebrated several special occasions here. There have been times when the food and service was not up to par however, there has been a discernible change for the better as of late. This experience was outstanding, the restaurant was a bit busy so Gaucho service was a bit slow as they were running out of meats by the time they were to come to us. Where they kept their 5 star service, in my opinion, was that the server noticed this and without prompt spoke to a supervisor and had the rotation reversed which corrected the issue. The meat, lobster bisque and lava cake were great. Salad bar left a bit to be desired but was certainly sufficient. The ambiance is awesome and I would recommend it for any special occasion.

This place is a Brazilian steakhouse. It was my first time and I really enjoyed it. I really liked the salad bar and leg of lamb. 強くお勧めします!
I really had high hopes for this place but eh...maybe it was because we did lunch and not dinner. First off the salad bar was very mediocre. I've been to other Brazilian steak houses before and I just felt like this place left much to be desired. Not enough flavor in the items I chose. No complaints on the taste of the meat though. So that's good since that's the star of the show... however I finally had to flag down a member of the staff to say "hey we seem to be getting skipped over and then when they do come to our table it's the same meats" He apologized about feeling skipped but did reveal the lunch offerings are not as vast as the dinner menu. So that explains it. I suppose it's fair since lunch price is cheaper. He did ask if we'd been offered the ribs yet. We said no so they finally got those out. They were delish! The service from the wait staff was great though. They all were welcoming, warm, and helpful. 5 stars for that part.

The meat selection was amazing. I'd like to see more well done cooked meats come out, they were more rare. The salad bar was clean and had lots to choose from. The little bread balls were so good.

We have eaten here a few times and the first 2 times, we had an amazing time which made us wanting to come back. However after that each time we went it progressively just gotten worse from the service all the way down to the atmosphere. This last time was the last time. We asked for medium rare and well done cut of meat and they kept bringing medium well each time we'd ask for the well done and they'd say in a minute. The medium rare people in our party got a whole round of every meat while the other people were looking at the wall waiting for a well done piece. We told the manager and then with in 5 mins every single one came with a well done piece rushing to get it on the plate. There was no in between either all or nothing. Not sure if they changed management or what happened but it went from a 5star to a 2 star unfortunately.

Negative 5 Star Review – Champs de Brazil, Arlington, TX I waited a while before writing this review because of how unsettling my experience was. On a Wednesday evening, my brother and I—who both run a law firm in Dallas—had just closed a major case and decided to take our family out to celebrate. There were eight of us total: my wife, daughter, sister, niece, nephew, brother, brother-in-law, and myself. I repeatedly asked (more than eight times) for the beef rib and the bottom sirloin. I waited patiently for over an hour. When the waiter finally asked if everything was okay, I calmly explained the situation. He told me he would be right back—yet another 10 minutes passed with no food. At that point, I asked to speak with the manager and requested a new waiter, politely asking that the original waiter not return to our table. Instead, he became defensive and ignored my request, returning again and insisting on checking on us. I reiterated—again—that I was still waiting on the same two items and asked for the manager. When the manager arrived, I explained everything. Her response was that food “usually takes that long.” I told her that was fine—all I was asking for was a simple apology for the inconvenience. She refused, stating there was no reason to apologize for either her service or her employee’s service. I then respectfully asked for our check. She returned offering a free or discounted meal, which I declined. I didn’t want anything to affect the honesty of this review. At that point, I would have gladly paid extra just to receive what I originally ordered—which is ironic, considering this is a restaurant that specializes in meat. This was meant to be a celebratory evening, and instead it turned into a frustrating and uncomfortable experience. Between the poor service, dismissive management, and aggressive behavior from staff, this was unacceptable. If you’re looking for rude service and confrontational waiters, this might be the place for you. If you want good food and respectful customer service, I strongly suggest going elsewhere. While the experience was horrible, I will say this: thank you for ensuring I never make the 45-minute drive to your restaurant again.
Worst $220 I’ve spent at a steakhouse, Save your money and go to Brasao or Fogo de chao, as this steakhouse is a knockoff of the previously mentioned . Service was mediocre, plenty of staff however service was just bad. At the beginning everything was and looked good, when we were greeted and seated. Hostess and other staff seemed to care as we sat with my 3 young kids…. Best part of our night. The big let down, was our food, we were served thin slices of ribeye, picaña, and lamb, about 5 slices total, As I prepared to dig into the meat, the knife would not cut into the meat, upon close inspection, we found the meat to be extra cooked, charred. And the spots that seemed to be soft turned out to be all grease and fat from the slab. We waited for about 10 minutes before any staff came around to ask if everything was ok. We explained the meat was not edible, so they proceeded to ask what our desired temperature on our meat was; to which I expressed a medium rare would be ok. After waiting 15 minutes or so they brought out 3 cuts of meat, Ribeye, beef ribs , and lamb chops, I was delighted at first to see they looked better , however as I took the first bite into the lamb chop, I was let down immediately given there was no flavor, it tasted as if someone just threw it on the grill for 2 minutes , sprinkled salt and served it. Disappointed, I moved onto the beef ribs, which to my surprise were also undercooked , with noticeable bright red spots, which contrasted with the white plate they sat on. They had a significant amount of fat as the ratio of meat to fat was at best a 60-40, the lesser being meat. They were simply not appetizing to look at , and honestly were bland. They made more of an effort with the salt and pepper on the lamb chops. The last cut being Ribeye was also a let down. The meat was just not seasoned correctly same consistent bland taste , the only good thing on this meat option was the non existent fat. , I’ve been to similar places in the past, however this restaurant was just not at all what we expected for the price. I understand you can’t have top quality for a $220 dollar bill , however you at least expect to be somewhat satisfied. Management is poor here, and even though we had a tall heavy set , suited manager walk by our table on 2 occasions (aware of our complaints on meat), he excused himself with reluctance to address their poor service or food quality. The highlight of this experience was the Brazilian lemonade I ordered for my wife, it was great for the $10 price tag. Overall 2 adults 1-3 year old kid and 5 non alcoholic drinks came out to be a whoppin $195 usd Which I regret paying. $220usd with tip. I highly recommend fogo, brasao, saltgrass or even the jack in the box next door than this place. I hate to talk down on restaurants, as my previous reviews are mixed, however I do not recommend this place. To me this experience was the equivalent of the stroll of shame in the am. Woke up with so much regret. Never again.
