The food was really good and tasted authentic. We had the jajangmyeon and jjampong, and it was really good! Definitely a must try!

Craving for black bean noodle (jajangmyeon). This place has a very good rating and based on friend’s recommendation, we ordered jajangmyeon and sweet and sour pork to go. Quick service, they kept the package opened until we arrived (to keep the food from getting soggy) and the taste…… super delicious. The go to place for black bean noodle.

This is the spot to pick up a mean bowl of the jjajangmyeon (black bean noodle) for around $10. Thick sauce and best to mix it up with the noodles right away before the noodles bloat up. Plenty of pork pieces too! The meal Includes the traditional kimchi, sliced onion, and sauce packets as the condiments. Great price and the order is ready really quick. So delicious and plenty of food!

Their sea food noodle dish was delicious. So we're their sweet and sour pork. Their kimchi is too salty tho so watch out for that. Would come again. Ladies speak three languages and we're very quick. Food comes out in minutes.

Delicious 😋 I was looking for somewhere to grab some lunch and decided to give this place a try. The ladies working there were very sweet. Had one of the lunch specials. Great price and a good amount of food. Food came out super fast, hot and fresh. I'll definitely be back.

We go and eat here once a month with a group of 4.. I love the shrimp chow mien.. But all food is good.. The service is quick and professional... They Chef does a great job of making each dish a special one... I think the Chef does a great job and his staff is good...

I ordered take out from Hsiang Yuen tonight for the first time and WOW I will definitely be back. My order was black bean sauce noodles, beef chow mein, and orange chicken. The food was prepared and ready to go on time when I arrived. I was greeted like a family member and helped quickly with a smile. It made me feel good, like I chose a great restaurant who cares about all customers. When I got home I realized that the food was packaged in a very smart way. The orange chicken was separated from its sauce and so was the black bean and noodles. This method kept the food from being soggy, I was impressed. As I started mixing everything up... The aroma was mouth water. I was NOT surprised when every bite was top tier cuisine. They even threw in some delicious kimchi. Not too strong, just right. Both my wife and I agreed to rate this place five stars. We ate until full and still have plenty of leftovers for tomorrow. I can't wait for those 😁 Thank you HY team. You earned a repeat customer tonight.

Forgot taking pictures, foods were unexpectedly too delicious and plenty. Their dishes are old local Korean-Chinese style which I have never tasted more than 20 years. I didn't imagine that I could find such an awesome sweet & sour pork for lunch at the price of 2 of fast-food restaurant hamburgers! And thank you for today's soup on the side for lunch special, it was jjamppong(spice seafood) soup and kept me warm from the rainy day! Next time, I will definitely go through the photo ritual before eating!

Seriously one of THE best korean-chinese takeout locations in the area. Their jjajangmyun (black bean noodles) and jjamppong (seafood noodle soup) are top notch and portion sizes are truly generous.

The family was in the mood for some Korean Chinese food and the place closer to my house was closed so we found this place. With good reviews we decided to try it. For those that grew up with Korean Chinese food, this place is just like what you remember from back in the day. They didn't try to modernize anything and just kept it as is, just like it's supposed to be. Everything was good and it tasted fresh. I usually don't order Mongolian beef as most times, the meat is very chewy, but it wasn't here. It was tender and flavored very nicely. We also ordered the Noodles with Black Bean Sauce Noodle aka Jajangmyeon. I liked it but it wasn't great. My family on the other hand thought that it was great. The Sweet & Sour pork and the Fried Shrimp with hot garlic sauce were crunchy despite us ordering to go. Their portion size was also good. I find most places charge more AND reduce the portion size but here, although the prices did increase, the portion size is still good. That's a big plus in my book. Overall, I would come back here again and would recommend it to others.

A hole-in-the-wall comfort Chinese-Korean restaurant. There is no atmosphere to speak of.. but I do go out of my way to come here for Chachang-mein or Champoong. A staple I grew up with as a child. Don't expect any gourmet delicacy here. Just Korean Chinese comfort food - mostly noodles. If you are ok with that, I highly recommend the noodles here!

Authentic Korean Chinese dishes. You know it's authentic when the owners speak Korean to the customers, but Chinese to each other. The rating is based on takeout experience/taste. Need to dine in to experience the full flavors intended by the chef.

This place has Chinese and Korean food. Came here for the Chinese food and ordered sweet and sour pork, broccoli & beef, and shrimp chow mein. 4/5 Taste - Food was good and was quickly served after ordering. Food came out hot and had good amount of flavor. Not a lot of saltiness which is good! You can always add more to your taste. Also, the pork had a nice crisp bite to it. 4/5 Price - At first glance, the price may seem high. However, the portion sizes are huge. They are meant for sharing. The amount food given for the price is reasonable. Overall, a great place to eat for a quick bite with some friends or family. Restaurant is somewhat small, probably can only fit 20 people inside. I believe the owners or whoever works there speak Chinese and Korean. Definitely would have no problem coming again!

NYC Chinatown vibe. Food was OK but not worth a drive, not sure what Eater was smoking when they say it cannot be missed.

I've ordered her pancit so many times, I noticed how her pan is getting smaller and the food doesn't even cover the whole pan. She's raised her price as everyone did but at least fill the pan. Very disappointed.

Slightly disappointing taste and cleanliness I went there because there were no Korean or Chinese restaurants nearby, but there was no reason to go.

Foods are really good. The reasons why I gave them 3 stars are that the servers were awful, the utensils were dirty and flies were flying on the table. It was my first time visiting. So, I asked the server which one was better between black bean noodles and Jjambbong. (Last time I went to a Jjambbong restaurant, but Jjambbong was really bad and black bean noodles were more delicious) I wanted her to recommend me one of those that they are confident with and good at. She told me that these two are totally different and what I meant with the embarrassing face. It seems like she didn't get my point at all. It was fine. She looked like a Chinese Korean. But the most uncomfortable thing was that after she got our order and went back to the counter, she was sarcastic and gossiping about my question to her co-worker and laughing loudly so that the cook even asked her what was going on. I can hear enough of what they are saying, and I saw her. She noticed it, and they started speaking in Chinese. Is it normal for servers to gossip and be savage to customers so loudly that the customer can even notice what they are saying? 음식은 맛있는데 서버하시는 분들이 무례함. 식기가 더럽고 날 벌레가 많아요.

The speciality fried rice I order today is a typical Shrinkflation. (reducing the size/quality of the fried rice while maintaining its raising price.) white rice with few pieces meat charged $13+tax. Not like past few years , it came with sea food , variety meat and egg. Won't order again.
