Great spot on a Friday night
We hosted our engagement party at Charlie's--10/10 absolutely recommend!! Tali and her team made the planning a totally seamless process. It felt so special to have the whole space to ourselves, and we loved that it didn't require any additional decorations (we literally just made a playlist and showed up). It was the perfect cozy & intimate space for our group of 30-35, and the drinks and bites were delicious as well (plenty of vegan & vegetarian options!). Thank you to Charlie's for the perfect night!
We celebrated my husband’s 50th at Charlie’s Astoria littlest Pub and had an amazing time! Huge thanks to Tali for all the help with the plans, thanks to her everything went so smoothly. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and the vibe was perfect. Kevin the bartender and his bar back were fantastic. My husband had a great time, and so did all our guests. We’ll definitely be back when we’re in town! Thanks again!
I hosted my wife’s 40th here. Excellent decision! The party was a hit, a whole lot of fun. The room is the perfect size to make a fairly small number feel like a big party, good for mingling. Tali was great with organizing, helping me plan and make decisions, and made everything a breeze. I also enjoyed that they played our playlist through their awesome sound system. In all, I thought it was a fair value and totally worth while if you want to throw a really special party.
Great for private parties! Event Manager Tali, bartender Helen and barback Pasquale took amazing care of me and my guests all night. The food was excellent, the drinks were amazing, and the vibes and ambiance were immaculate! Everyone had an excellent time thanks to the staff and management. We'd come back for a drink or host another small event at Charlie's or the Bonnie in a heartbeat!
Who can i contact during the week? I left something and need it before the weekend if possible.

Beautiful little pub with amazing ambience! For obvious reasons it's cramped in here, and it got a little overstimulating with people bumping into you and loud music. However, I'm happy this place exists and look forward to coming back.
Cool place to hang Friday Saturday nights, it can get really busy so times service may vary but i still had fun here
Came for a drink and the atmosphere was excellent. Need to visit again to try food and more drinks.

The Sgt Pepper Martini is one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had

This place would’ve gotten 4 or 5 stars… if it wasn’t for our bartender. I’m writing this because as someone who has worked in the service industry for many years, I found his action to be unacceptable to us patrons. I simply asked which cocktails were on the less sweet side. I was told that I didn’t know what I wanted and couldn’t make a decision. Then he grabbed the menu from my seating and put it behind the bar. Explained what one drink was and when he said it resembled a Cosmo I simply said oh no I def don’t want that. He then says you cut me off and that I didn’t let him finish. I was in kind of in shock that he spoke like that but figured he could save his breath. What I should’ve said was- that’s very rude to take a menu away and to say what he said previously. Also, I didn’t finish looking at the menu to see what else I might’ve wanted. I was annoyed and just asked for a martini at that point to keep it easy & not be bothered. On top of that, we waited 20 Minutes for him to fill our water and see if we wanted anything else. Maybe he just wanted to be heard and express his “mixology” skills. Too bad— I was looking forward to coming here and was happy to see it’s as finally open I’d only come back if it’s someone else is working.

Bartenders refuse to serve my boyfriend and I more drinks after just “2 drinks “Just because the women bartender dislike me . Her excuse was because we did not tip her for just two drinks . We were going to order more drinks and tip her after we finished buying more drinks but they refuse to give us more so we decided to leave and spend our money in another bar . So unprofessional . Management should consider changing the staff there . I don’t recommend this place .
