Kumo Astoria Reviews
I went to Kumo of a recommendation from the hotel. Its basically take a way but has room to eat. The food was delicious.
Great service, prepared my order very fast! Everything was fresh and tasty!
From the presentation, to the flavors, I highly recommend this restaurant. The packaging was also very sustainable. The food was very affordable. Will order from him again.

It’s almost embarrassing how much I order from Kumo. Their teriyaki lunch platter is unbeatable pricewise and is so tasty. They know how to do tofu and salmon right and the rolls are always fresh. It’s a takeout spot so don’t plan to eat in. Food is ready quick and always hits the spot.
This is by far the best value for your money for sushi in Astoria. They also have the best fried rice in the area. I order from them once or twice a month. The three rolls for $16 during lunch has cured many of my hangovers
First time trying Kumo and I’m glad I did because I will be ordering my sushi from here from now on. I’m not gonna lie the reviews did deter me from ordering in the past. I saw good reviews on Grubhub and quite a few ppl mentioned it on Astoria reddit. I figured let me order a 3 roll lunch combo and see for myself. I was really impressed. The sushi was amazing and fresh! Good size rolls too. When I would order from Sakura they would be bite size. I do like Watawa too but I can’t justify paying $10 for a simple roll. This how I settled on Kumo. I def recommend Kumo for a good sushi fix.
Very reliable sushi restaurant. My family gets the party platter and the noodle soups, and it's always enjoyable. Nice, friendly staff also.
Been going here since about 2013 and only have good experiences with Kumo. Sushi always tastes fresh and rolls are made perfectly every time. They listen to special instructions about separating rolls and never miss an item.
Very good food, good atmosphere, good service, the food is always served fresh and the quality is very good.
Astoria’s best kept secret. Rare to find a small, authentic family business with this quality of food, for this affordable of a price.
Kumo is great... for take out or delivery. Price wise and quality wise, nobody's better, but If you want to sit down, then go to Watawa,..

Found a new place for take out, food was delicious! Found a new regular customer!
I had ordered the lunches and it was pretty good. I enjoyed the kani salad the most! The spicy tuna was better than the other two (spicy salmon & spicy yellowtail). I wished the rice for the sushi was more intact. I will order again.

Perfectly decent place to get takeout sushi even if it's not much to look at
Shumai tasted spoiled. The rest of the food tasted decent. Probably won’t order from here again. The shumai is literally rotten or not fresh.
Keepin it real out here in Astoria Got a takeout dish cause it was on sale but it didn't hit.... Place is a bit depressing, sad :(

Ordered takeout from here and was quite disappointed in the quality of fish. The wasabi also looked completely off as it appeared to be a bright neon green. Would have been better off buying sushi from HMart and saved some money along the way

I got food poisoning. Ordered delivery sushi and was sick for two days. Do not eat here.
Ordered sushi delivery, I was severely sick for two days from FOOD POISONING. Do not eat here!
The beef teriyaki has no flavor. It does not taste it was prepared correctly. The fried shrimp was not good. The fried food was soggy in the middle.
I said please do not ring the bell in the instructions and I also asked to please separate the shrimp items due to a person with allergies in the house. They failed to do both. Thank you for waking up our baby and almost putting someone in the hospital.
This place is very dirty, things thrown everywhere. The people cooking the food have no masks on, just NASTY🤮. The lady there is so rude. Never coming back here.
