Food was great and at a very affordable price compared to some other place. The mocha was delicious. The service was very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely return :-)
Great coffee, amazing food and lovely staff
I love this coffee shop! Staff is friendly and coffee is great. I love to sit and just relax while I have my latte here. I’ve had savory and sweet crepes here and they are great !
I grabbed a cup of coffee here before an MD appt. The coffee was reasonably priced and amazing! I rarely get coffee out and often question the $5 cup I purchased when I do. This place is refreshing and made my day
What a gem. Coffee was outstanding flavor. Just the right boldness. I had a latte. The greek egg sandwich was unigue and delicious. My husband had the fresh made crepe breakfast and again uniquely delicous flavor. We will be visiting this coffee spot again and again.
I live right near here and love this place. Great sandwiches and donuts, plus quick friendly service. Get the super roll for breakfast and you’ll be a fan for life.
Great food, great people (Employees) and very well kept (Clean) the food is awesome I ordered a wake cup breakfast and oh my delicious and different and I also ordered a cheesecake cream with strawberries and that as well came out delicious 😋. I look forward in being a loyal customer weekly as I have my appointments near by. Thank you for your business I couldn't wait till they opened and finally they opened last week on Friday and here I am their 2nd week loving every bit👌 and I got a muffin for later 😍 I send every business especially small businesses the best of luck and the most blessings.
My daughter had a donut and she liked it. The staff is so friendly. Treated my kid and her friends so so nice!! Good vibe :)
it’s a nice place, staff is friendly, food is good. i usually get the breakfast special and that comes with an ice coffee. i’ll grab my coworker an iced cappuccino sometimes and he thinks it’s delicious
I enjoy my freddo espresso daily and I just discovered a new gem in Astoria with one of the best coffees I have ever experienced. I use the word experience purposefully because it is an experience to try this place for coffee, crepes, paninis and home made baked Greek pies. By pies I am referring to the spinach, cheese etc. The owners, baristas, bakers and everyone there are extremely polite and attentive. If only they had more outside seating but due to the ongoing roadwork right outside, it is limited. Just found my spot.
Great place to breakfast (the special is $6 with american coffee). Great service. We ate here every morning during our stay in NYC ! :)
Had such a great experience at Wake Cup today! Yanis showed me such great hospitality and the food was amazing! Definitely a great breakfast vibe, good music!
I just discovered this hidden gem a few months back and it has some of the best coffee and pastries. I enjoy the attentiveness when handling food service and drink orders. Thank you!
Amazing food, service, and vibes. Everyone should come here instead of starbucks. Plus, they got delicious crepes. 😋 10 stars!!!
Food is phenomenal and incredibly well priced! Staff is so kind and helpful, and the vibes are great! Will definitely be coming back!
Very nice coffee shop, I walk a few more blocks to get coffee and a wrap from this place. It’s great quality coffee and the wrap (Syko) is always great. Thanks!
The food here is great (bacon egg and cheese is delish), coffee is amazing (with a lot of different options), the service is impeccable and the pricing is even better. Would highly recommend stopping by.
Coffee was super delicious as we're all the sandwiches we had (breakfast and lunch) The man behind the counter ( i assume was the owner) was so friendly And kind. A must stop for a coffee and a bite if you are in the area!
I thought I already left a review before, but I can’t find it. But, these are the best crepes that I’ve had. Good size, good fillings, and good amount of fillings. Seating is good, it seems to be replaced with more comfortable seats. The owners are welcoming. I had one issue that they helped me resolve I’ve come alone and with my partner multiple times. I haven’t had the coffee, but if it’s anything like the crepes, it’s likely good as well. I recommend coming for the crepes, at the minimum! Love the name too.
The breakfast was delicious! A cute place with great service! I am definitely going back
This place is amazing. It deserves 10 stars. Been coming here for the longest and i have to be honest food always taste great. I love toasted roll with scrambled eggs and feta cheese. Beautiful. It is also beautiful B.L.T. But i was always having it with ham instead bacon. Delicious 👌👍😋😋😋
My daughter enjoyed a donut, and she really liked it. The staff members are extremely friendly. They were incredibly kind to my child and her friends! Great atmosphere :)
Food here is great, I highly recommend the avocado toast. Staff is really friendly and overall great experience with all the food I’ve had here.
Great spot for an egg sandwich had the sausage, egg and cheese, it was so good I returned the next day and tried something different. The spicy roll definitely my new favorite. Great combination of flavor for an egg sammy. Price is on point hard to find great spots with reasonable prices but this place finds a way to do so.
Incredible prices for great quality food! The interior mirrors are genius—they really open up the space to feel much bigger than it actually it, keeping it from feeling too squishy. I had the Greek roll which was great. Unfortunately there was a very loud buzzing from what I think was the fridge that was surprisingly even louder than the music being played. That aside though, you'd be lucky to have this as your local cafe!
Amazing food everything was delicious I love the crepes I ordered the falafel delicious I went with my mom we really enjoyed 😉
I had an AMAZING iced coffee and an AMAZING breakfast croissant with bacon, egg, and cheese. I really liked that the egg was real and not a random patty. Everyone was super nice and the cafe was very chill!
Nice cute cafe! Great prices…they offer a bacon egg and cheese on a roll special with coffee for just $6.79! New favorite spot
Great little neighborhood Cafe. Good coffee. Good food. Good drinks. Low prices. Friendly vibes. Fast service.
Love this place coffee great !!! Eggs platter great !!!and prices are good here . This place doesn't screw you and over charge . And friendly . I come here every time I go to the doctor . A hidden gem definitely go you'll love it !!!!
This is a great place for breakfast. Delicious bagels and latte. Really friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Staff seem to know everyone. $56 for drinks and breakfast for 5.
This is such an amazing place! The portions are HUGE, and everything tastes like your grandma made it just for you—so tasty, so fresh, and just the way YOU like it. The owners clearly take pride in their restaurant. Highly recommended!
We have our breakfast every morning here on our way to work. I have to say they have the best sandwiches at a reasonable price! And Athena and Yanni are always super nice to us! Highly recommend for any delicious fast bite or good coffee in Astoria!
I love this place. You get delicious breakfast sandwiches and pay half compare to other spots around. Always lovely service as well 💕
Love coming here for their breakfast roll and coffee

I feel like an Athens Coffee. I like the electro music . I love spent time here reading, writing, drink my coffee and watch through the glass all the movement outside.
This is our local coffee shop, and my husband and I loved it. Workers and owner are so nice, the chai from there is my favorite!! The first time we went I got a chicken buffalo sandwich, and my husband got a tuna sandwich. Ever since we have tried other items in the menu, the crepes are so so good, and we really recommend this place 🫶🏼🫶🏼
A great local spot! Staff are friendly, service is quick, and the sandwiches & coffee are delicious. Love this place.
The ham and cheese croissant was delicious! My daughters had the Nutella banana crepe - amazing! I love their homemade iced teas!

Not much sitting, but food was good and service great.
Nice pastries & coffee drinks. They have a good special where you can get a BEC with a small coffee for $6.
Had a lovely experience! The coffee was great, and the blueberry bagel was yummy.
I love supporting local business. Been coming here for a couple months now during my 2 hour gap between clients, 2-3 days a week. The food is delicious. Menu is pricey and there aren’t any loyalist rewards benefits/ cards in place (hope this is something they’re considering, with so many locals and hospital personnel that come in). I’ve tried almost every hot sandwich and highly recommend most of them. My least favorite so far I had today: the Egg Salad sandwich. I expected traditional egg salad with tomato and peppers mixed together spread on bread, but it comes with sliced hard boiled eggs instead, with slices of tomato and peppers between bread. My most favorite thus far is the Syko (fig jam, bacon, mozzarella and mixed greens). The classics like BLT’s and any meat, egg, and cheese never disappoint. The breads tend to be overly toasted, so be careful not to scrape the roof of your mouth. As for customer service, I felt welcome the first day I came in. The attendant behind the counter immediately says, “hello, how are you?”. Anyone who asks me this question I answer with a “great, thank you [for asking]. How are you?” She politely answered but quickly moved the conversation along to take my order. Understood. Encounters since then, same start to the conversation, but I’m met with a “ugghhh nobody cares how you’re doing, it’s just something you say” attitude 😆 this is so New York, or perhaps a cultural or societal thing, to blurt out rhetorical questions, until you meet someone like me who answers and gives respectful eye contact. Oh well. I see the attendants exchange with other customers. The “hi, how are you?” is rudely met with an air of, “yeah, yeah, lady, just take my order. I’ll have a…”. Perhaps she and management prefer this type of interaction 🤷🏻♀️This energy isn’t a big deal to me, I just meet it with kindness (and write detailed reviews on Google 🤗). I suggest moving forward a straight to the point start of, “hello welcome, what can I get for you?”. You avoid kind people like me responding and (gasp) giving eye contact, as well as rude clients who ignore your introduction. If you’re an in-and-out customer, this place works great for you. I sit quietly, eat my food, drink my chai latte, clean up after myself. I wanted to stay a regular client here because the place has a nice aesthetic, good WiFi for when I brought my laptop in to get some work done… but I’m not feeling the energy. I no longer feel welcome. They still deserve a decent star rating and growing success, though 💫
Stopped in on my morning walk around the neighborhood when I saw the coffe + breakfast sandwich for $8 I think?? A great deal for good iced coffee and a decent BEC on a roll.
NOT nyc bagels lol i think they are imported from florida 😭 staff are very kind
Coffee was decent but I ordered ham, egg & cheese on a roll and I literally got 1 slice of ham, 1 egg and 1 slice of cheese. So, it was pretty much a big roll of bread with a tiny bit of ham, egg & cheese flavoring to it. I was still hungry when I finished eating...definitely not worth the money! The cafe mocha was ok but I'd never go back there for a breakfast sandwich.
Pretty average local cafe. Very small with limited seating and no restroom. Food and drinks were edible but nothing fancy to call home for.

Ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese on a bagel. When I was home and opened it, I was surprised to find the sausage was in fact hot dog. Not what I expected at all and not what I would have chosen to order. I’ve never known sausage to equal hot dog
The Crepes keep bringing me back for more!! Om nom nom! But good grief the service with a scold from that one at the counter. Absolutely brutal! You could literally walk in there on fire and receive the same monotonic "hello, how are you?" Spare me.
SEC lovers beware. After spending two weeks out of the country all I wanted was a SEC to remind me of how great NYC is. Ratings/prices were good for this place so placed a delivery order. To my first surprise, a not crispy “link” instead of a sausage patty. Normally I could handle that however upon further investigation and taking a bite, this “link” was literally a hot dog! Cut in half then sliced down the middle. If you’re okay eating a hot dog on your SEC then by all means order from here. For me, I won’t be ordering that anytime soon and feel like their menu should indicate it’s a hot dog.
Cute place but I wouldn’t recommend the cold brew. It tastes incredibly weak and also has a bunch of coffee grounds in it.

I ordered a large iced Nutella latte here that cost me about $8. I could not taste any Nutella flavor in my drink, plus it tasted watery. You would think for such an expensive drink they would take their time to make it properly 😞
I see yall responded to my complaint. Number 1) I would have gotten something from your restaurant, but your barista was rude and said they were closing soon (30 mins from closing actually) then I went next door and ordered a slide a pizza and sat there (where I took the picture). You say its rude to sit there but like I said, I only got sat there because the restaurant RIGHT NEXT DOOR where I got my cupcake and coffee was full. They are a great coffeeshop by the way. I have sat there many times just to recollect myself before I go to my next destination and they never said not one word to me. I can guarantee you they probably been in business for a while, because theyre FROM the neighborhood ;)/ workers are FROM the neighborhood. GOOD business would've been to offer a coffee or something to increase sales and offer great CS. be kind to people and you'll get kindness back. I wish you much success though in your new business.
Came here for the first time exciting tasting their Lavaza Coffee but unfortunately the American coffee tasted nothing like Coffee ( So Light ). We also order Latte which they serve in small cup (12oz) with half of the cup full by Foam. This shouldn’t be called Latte but Cappuccino. The latte was so bad and have no taste of any coffee. The barista had AirPods on her ears and can’t hear what the customers asking for.
One of the worst breakfast sandwiches I've had in a decade of living here. $10.50 for a breakfast sandwich that used cold hard boiled eggs instead of cooked eggs and the entire inside of the sandwich was cold. Absolutely disgusting and a total ripoff. Edit to the owners response: yeah it was the wake cup sandwich, which, as you didn't deny used cold hard boiled eggs (funny you guys don't mention that on your menu anywhere). You're literally making a breakfast sandwich with salad bar ingredients and charging almost $11 for it. Will not be returning, this sandwich ended up making me sick.
I came here because next door there were no more seats where i got my coffee. The barista came outside and asked if we would like anything. I asked if i could sit while i ate my cupcake. She said no because their place is closing. Its 505 as i type this while i got pizza from somewhere else. My bff thinks its because the way he is dressed. I will try to add photos of how he is dressed later. Be ware of underlying racism.

I’ve eaten here a few times, but today will be the last time I support this business. After ordering my breakfast sandwich and drink, I sat down, and the barista with straight brownish hair brought my food to my table. At that point, I asked her if I could use the restroom because I had just gotten my period. She responded coldly, “Sorry, we don’t have restrooms for customers,” and then went to sit down in the back. While I understand that this coffee shop does not advertise restrooms for customers, basic customer service would be to make an exception for someone clearly experiencing an emergency.
