Irish Whiskey Bar Astoria Reviews
Best Irish pub here, feel like in Europe, I come from Brittany in France ...Celtic Nation , Celtic Bar , best experience In USA since I live here in 9 years, owner so nice , music perfect and so good deal
The friendliest bar in Queens, especially when I arrive with my best friend Woody and Gerry stands behind the bar👍💪🎶 Greetings from Zagreb🍀😁
This open mic was awesome! Hosted By Andreas w/ Barry behind bar, this warm and inviting, “feel like Home” atmosphere Irish bar was full of such kind, and amazing talented musicians. The community welcomes cover songs or originals! Plenty of seating with an outdoor back patio. All types of instruments and talent encouraged!
Great bar, really good drinks and vibes are cool. Staff is nice and very experienced. Guinness on point, cold and 20oz. I really like coming here after work
This is a great local bar. The bartender (I believe his name was Jason) made great drinks and provided outstanding service. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and would visit here again.
Excellent local bar here in Astoria. I found them via their open mic that Andreas host (Tuesdays at 8 with two free drinks for any performer!!!! That’s a steal!!!!) and they are by far the most friendly and welcoming bar I’ve been to in Astoria. Staff is super friendly, and the bar tender gave me a free shot when I played last night. I believe I misplaced my backpack with my work laptop here, so if anyone comes across it, please let me know! I will definitely be back here next week; this is my new home for playing tunes and shaking my ass. Love the energy and the audience it attracts. Thank you so much for being such a welcoming place!!!
In a word... Yes! Great old school attitude! I'll be back. It's a great place to meet new friends in a super easy going atmosphere.
Thought I was back in the 90's... or 60's. Anyways, great Irish Hospitality, service and something called Blue Grass on Sunday Nights, starts at 7pm, fresh air backyard, overall, highly recommend!
Well priced drinks and friendly staff are the first things you'll notice in what's sure to become an interesting freaking evening. The later it gets the more exciting this place becomes.

Best bar ever! Me and my wife had a lot of fun there, live bluegrass music, cheap beer, friendly people, excelent service and darts. A truly hidden gem in Astoria.
The DJ is 100% worth it, he may be in his 70s, but he’s playing everything I wanna hear! ! He’s playing throwbacks, and everything in between.this is coming from a 33 year old! I couldn’t even imagine remembering these songs! And Roman, the bartender is the best bartender you’ll ever have!!!
Great, friendly bar with a great little backyard. Great place to chew the fat with friends. They serve fabulous coffee drinks including Cappuccino. Excellent choice of beers from around the globe. Open Mics on Tuesdays and Music Showcase on Thursdays featuring top musical artists. And if you love darts, there's no better place to play with tournaments or just a friendly game with local patrons.
Hole in the wall place. They have a patio in the back . Wouldn't really think that it had one. The bluegrass band playing was so legit. You think you were somewhere else. The sound was right. This place is a legit Irish bar. Only in nyc . Neighborhood people and the bartender is great. Had a good night for a decent price.
The real deal...if you are looking for a TRUE DIVE like I was, look no further. Yore liver will love ya. A million bottles ..Slan. Belly Up 6.24.24 Edit: BIG bottles=BIG pours another 5 Star bender
Very nice crowd and staff. Great selection of drinks. Prices are super reasonable. It’s the perfect escape from the usual NYC scene
I love dive bars so I felt at home here the second I walked in
Passed by there since Saturday, 12/23/2023 2 days before Christmas of 2023 since Monday, 12/25/2023 when I was visiting Athens Square Park's Christmas Tree after getting off at 30th Avenue on 31st Street next to Irish Whiskey Bar on the N train🚇💛 coming from Queensboro Plaza to avoid Q18's 42 minutes delay during that time.

Love this place!!!! I can spend $40 and walk out of there stumbling. Bartenders are great ,enthusiastic, and friendly. They also have comedy nights, open mic night as well as karaoke night. Good times👍

A great dive bar. There's a sitcom worth of offbeat locals who are friendly. Liberal drink policy makes it fun. They seem to have a pretty good selection including some Czech beers. I 😘 ve going by there

This bar is an awesome place with great people, good darts players, and a great owner. There is always something fun going on there! I gave it 3 stars instead of 5 (which it deserves) because of a bad bartender. Avoid this bar Sun-Tues before 6pm.

I have tried to spend time at this location but it just does not vibe. The worst is the service? I walked in twice and not 1 bartender service me! The last time I was there they finally served me it was HOT!!!Then the bartender looked at me like I'm stupid the amazing lack of professionalism is crazy. Never again! Definitely will be telliny friends to avoid this no air-conditioning place!
