Try the papa loka if they happen to be running that special. It's like a big steamed/baked potato with all the same stuff you'd see on carne asada fries. Insanely good 👍 The cashier was friendly and helpful with ordering, thanks for the hospitality!

El Compadre had been a favorite of mine for years, it's a small little place but the food is great and staff is fantastic. I usually get the California burrito which I really enjoy. I tried their special on this visit which was a burrito with beef, pork AND chicken, it was very good. If you enjoy Mexican and are in Atascadero I definitely recommend giving them a try.

Needed to leave a review on how completely outstanding this restaurant is. The food from this restaurant hits home. My very first order last year was a plate of potato enchiladas. The cook is amazing and willing to work with you in order to get you that perfect plate. Usually when I ask for potato enchiladas elsewhere I get the 🤪🤪 face, but homie said I got you😎😎😎 the food is delicious go check em out

Came here for dinner with my kids, my parents and my brother so it was a large group. The staff was very attentive, food came out pretty quick and it was delicious! We all left fat and happy 🙂

What a bad experience I had today in this place, bad service and the food is not served at all well. I ordered 3 burritos 🌯 with meat and they gave me only beans and rice. I asked to speak to the manager and he never came out, he never turned his face

Hope the food is good... blonde lady in her 40's was the rudest person I've encountered in a long time. Judged me as not worth her time, after taking my card and telling me how much the order i could see ready that i purposely gave an extra 30 minutes before I came to pick up...proceeded to search the restaurant for a pen and order pad to take the order of the people i watched walk in and sit down in an otherwise empty place....

My family and I have been coming to this restaurant for years. They always had good food and service. Even take out food was on point. But whoever is cooking tonight feb 18th at 630 pm needs to be dragged behind a car. This is the worse food I've ever ordered. This is worse than fast food. This is worse then atascadero burger king and that is dumpster food. My torta is inedible. It is soaked in grease and is soggy and falling apart I took one bite and my mouth was filled with grease. I immediately got sick because of the disgusting taste of oil and meat in my mouth 🤢 I will NEVER come back here again
