Pizza Amore Aurora Reviews
Excellent pizza cooked in a brick oven. Highly recommend this pizza business 👌
Really nice Pizza, for me, the BEST, I love the Trinacria preparation, Fair price for a delicious Pizza
100% recomendado. Solo es para llevar.
Amazing service, beautiful atmosphere, and great food! Everything was perfect and even though there were plenty of people there the service was perfect and quick. Will definitely come back here more often. Perfect place to have a date!‼️🤯🤗🍷
We always have the best service every time we come here. We have loved everything that we’ve tried on the menu so far. Will keep coming back. Love this little Aurora spot.
Our first time at Amore Mio and my husband and thoroughly enjoyed our experience! The food was delicious and the service was impeccable! Will definitely dine there again!
Amore Mio is a lovely restaurant with a charming atmosphere. We had the Chicken Tortellini and Spaghetti Bolognese, both delicious. The Amore Mio salad and focaccia appetizer didn’t disappoint. The service was excellent. Akita our server was friendly and efficient. Will definitely be back.
Loved it. My wife and I came out here for a date night and it didn't disappoint. Every single dish we ordered was amazing and uniquely executed. Staff was also very courteous. We will definitely be back again.
Really liked my plate there i had the linguini fruti de madri. Delicious. The drinks was good too had 3 don't remember the names exactly. Also the vibe of the place is very relaxed. Feel comfortable to dine in and chat with the friends
The caprese was delicious with the salted heirloom tomato’s. This was my favorite out of the three dishes that we tried. The risotto itself was a little bland and lacked any flavor, the shrimp and scallops were seasoned with a Cajun salty spice but it truly should have been all over because the dish was very bland. The rigatoni vodka was delicious and the pasta was the perfect texture. Random tip- bring a smaller purse because there is nowhere to set it unless you’re at a table with a bench. Overall I really loved the decor and ambiance and definitely want to come back to try some other dishes on the menu! Service was wonderful and I like the red bow ties everyone was wearing.
We were going for some italian and we wanna check this place out and theu had good food. Muscle maybe need more sauce but other than that it was good. We had cocktails too sangria maybe add more on the glass a lot of ice not much liquid and i had the espresso martini. The pineapple ipa it was good
From the moment we walked into Amore Mio, we knew we were in for something special. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and beautifully decorated—every corner felt like the perfect backdrop for a memorable evening (and yes, plenty of great selfie opportunities!). But the real star? The food. Every dish was a masterpiece, with flavors that were perfectly balanced and presentation that was absolutely stunning. You could tell that each plate was crafted with care and passion. Every bite was pure perfection! The service took our experience to another level. Our server, Maria, who had actually served me at a sister restaurant the night before, recognized me instantly and went above and beyond to make our celebration extra special. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure every detail of our evening was just right. It was truly the kind of hospitality that makes you feel valued and cared for. Amore Mio is a gem—whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just looking for an unforgettable meal, this is the place to be. I can’t wait to come back!
Post-theater dinner at a new restaurant. Our friends suggested Amore Mio because they’ve dined here before. Now I see why. The staff was so friendly and on top of everything, especially our server Dennae. She provided great service and was engaging. The food was delicious. The four of us shared a bottle of wine and the focaccia with ricotta and prosciutto. Next my husband had the tomato basil soup, and I had the grilled romaine. I tasted the tomato soup and it was luxurious and creamy, and I don’t even like tomato soup. The grilled romaine had a good char, but I would’ve preferred a dressing like a Caesar. For the main event, my husband had chicken parmesan and I had the whitefish. Both of our entrees were delicious. I think the chicken Parmesan, though, was the better of the two. I usually don’t order chicken Parmesan because it’s deep fried and my husband‘s chicken was light and moist and seem like it was baked so a healthier version. My whitefish was full of flavor with a lemon caper sauce and was perfectly moist I was worried seeing the 3.5 rating on Yelp. I think Amore Mio deserves a better rating. We’ll definitely be making a return visit. Not only because we enjoyed the eats, but the location was within walking distance of the Paramount Theater. A great pre- or post-theater place to dine. FYI they also have a cocktail lounge on the basement with piano music and live entertainment.
The menu had great vegetarian options for my partner with the "La Via" and I was absolutely blown away by the Chicken Tortellini. I meant to take pictures of the food but was distracted by my 1st taste and completely forgot! This was the perfect place for a Valentine's Day dinner. We both agree we will be back!!!
For Italian food, I usually go up north to Batavia or Geneva. However, Aurora has thrown their hat into the ring with Amore Mio. Stepping in, it was unrecognizable compared to the previous restaurant that was here, Gillerson's Grubbery. It has a very charming and cozy atmosphere that you can't help but enjoy. I thought that the background music that included Andre Bocelli was a nice touch. Our waitress, Maria, was very attentive and took great care of us as well. Lastly, the food was great! We got a meatball appetizer as well as foccacia and bread, and the meatball sauce especially was absolutely scrumptious. I had the whitefish dish, and the fish fell apart in your fork. The lemon sauce the fish came with made for a delicious and flavorful combination. Overall, a great Italian restaurant in downtown Aurora!
Next to the Casino and across the street from downtown Aurora staple Ballydoyle this Italian-inspired ristorante delights customers with fresh pasta dishes, pizza and mouth-watering meat entrees. The Lounge area was so well decorated and inviting we cannot wait to hear the piano ringing through the room!
Very friendly and attentive staff. A bit more lighting will help. Serving sizes were generous. We LOVED the Calamari, Creamy Tomato Basil Soup, Chicken Tortellini, Hibiscus and Lime Beer. My bride didn’t care for the taste of the Shrimp and Linguini La Via, but I did. Overall, not quite 5/5, but better than 4.5!!
Quaint place. Italian Latin inspired items were delicious. Highly recommend the Linguini Frutti di Mar! My wife enjoyed her white fish with sautéed spinac. The caprese salad was refreshing.
It was the worst meal I ever had. The white fish was sitting in a pool of lemon juice which made it very tart. The portion was very, very small. It took 45 minutes to get it and I asked if we get bread to eat while waiting and was told that would cost extra. I wanted to leave and they said they would make up for the small portion and would something else because I couldn't eat the fish. They gave some pasta in alfredo sause and it tasted like pasta in a corn starch sauce. No flavor what so ever. Please think twice before eating there.
We are very disappointed with the service here. Our server was extremely slow and while we don't mind waiting a decent amount of time, they messed up my fathers meal three times with an allergen. We clearly communicated and ordered, we reiterated the allergen exclusion and it was still messed up multiple times. The entire table got their food except for my father who ordered Linguini frutti di mere. (We asked for no shrimp and no scallops). First they brought out the meal with scallops, it was sent back to the kitchen and we got put at the end of the cue. Then it came out when everyone else had finished their meal, and still had shrimp in the food. It got sent back again. For reference, we were the first people in the restaurant, and the only people for a long time and service was still extremely excessively slow. He ended up not eating with that level of incompetence. When we asked for the check, we were charged the amount of the meal which was never received or consumed. He ordered Linguini frutti di mere. We will absolutely not be coming back again. We ended up going elsewhere for my fathers meal. Taste: the food that was received wasnt bad. Nothing incredible though. The portion size was good enough. Service: slow, especially for us being the only ones In the restaurant for a long time. And the messed up order with an allergen is a huge knock down on stars here. Atmosphere: cute interior. The decor is lovely. The chairs and seating not so much. Very uncomfortable. Though the place was clean. The menu was alright. We didn't stay to check out the speakeasy.
A one star review is harsh, but in this case warranted. I hope this is a temporary problem that can be fixed. (Apparently, the chef quit the day before) We sat down for dinner at 6:35pm, received our drinks quickly, and our bruschetta appetizer came out about 10 minutes after ordering. Food did not come out until nearly 7:45. We witnessed two other tables that had three meals served to four guests, and the fourth diner waited at least 15 minutes for the final dish to be served. These tables were dumbfounded by the service and told the restaurant to just keep the food and take it off the bill. When we finally received our meals, the $26 Chicken Marsala was comically small — slightly larger than the head of a fork. This is not a fine dining restaurant, and I laugh when I think about how small the chicken must have been before they pounded it into scallopini. Staff was apologetic and took the Chicken Marsala off the bill, but it took so long for the meal, that we skipped the “surprise” desert I had preordered for my mom’s birthday, and we missed the beginning of the 8pm show at the Paramount Theater two blocks away. This was a bad experience, with the only positive being the LaVia pasta that took forever to be served.
