Bar Rina Austin Reviews
The tacos are FIRE, & I'm from San Antonio so that says something! Then the bars, Both Roma downstairs and Reina rooftop, are absolutely GORGEOUS! The Aesthetics of both bars are beyond stunning. I mean you can clearly tell they put hella thought& effort into these spots!! 10/10 highly recommend P.s. The staff is nice to look at too😍
Absolutely love the atmosphere and view! The bartender made us amazing drinks that tasted like strawberry Starburst. Even on a cold night, I felt warm, cozy and at ease on this open roof top bar. Great place to kickback and have a great time with my friends
Well thought out, amazing atmosphere; great staff who try their hardest to make you feel like you are welcome. Bartending is quick, efficient, and very helpful. Unique experience for Austin area, a must for Saturday night as the music is always curated to the night, better DJ than other venues.
March 2024 This has to be the smallest bar in Austin and the one of the coolest where you enter from an alley. No room for chairs or tables but room for a DJ. The decor had a cool vibe and liquor choices nicely presented.
Great food , amazing vibes and people. If you’re ever in the area ask for jade (bartender) she’s the best !
Oh my goodness! After going up what looks like the endless stairway to heaven, we arrived to the rooftop. It was worth the climb, and the view is considerably spectacular. When you get here make sure to ask about the daily drink specials and tell them I say hello 👋🏽
Always a blast here great drinks here like the taste like candy or reina rum punch and great music from the dj
This place was so good that I want to go back just for it, honestly and staff was really friendly

Went to a @ConsciousBuilders event here organized by @NateGinsburg and had a great time. The location is good though construction makes it difficult to get to. This is a spacious place that holds big crowds people there comfortably. The many fans were running which made it comfortable with 300 people there. Servers were very good but the best thing was the people who attended and the ambience set by @NateGinsburg. Highly recommend attending his @ConsciousBuilders events here!!
One of the best latin bars Ive been to in Austin, they played old school reggaeton ! Awesome service and atmosphere , the palomas were bomb! Small place but would return!
jade was so personable and attentive! truly such a sweetie to chat with whilst having a drink— she makes a mean margarita!!!
They hosted an Afrohouse Night. I haven't danced that much in a long time. It was great. My biggest concern was one of the Bartenders. She did not hold back from showing how much she didn't want to be there. A lot of the people there had accents. Her body language, her tone screamed , you people are getting on my nerves! I witnessed a lady ask, "can I have that peach margarita? Lady had an accent. They had a pear peach drink on the cocktail menu. Her response: That drink is not a margarita!! It has whiskey in it!!" The person paused and said you know what I mean. I seen her slapping the debit card on the register. She would snatch cards. It was uncomfrotable seeing the faces of people who were asking for their drinks. I get it if it was her first time on her own. But baby take a minute and get your head in the game. I hardly ever remember bartenders. This girls face is etched in my mind for ever.
Great bar, beautiful view. It's giving Miami Vice vibes on the rooftop. You want to dance here. Great cocktails as well. Bar staff is super helpful and bottle service is greatly priced for the great space and rooftop view!!! Music changes every week. They also have a secret nightclub downstairs only open on Saturday. You gotta check this place out!!! 10/10 tacos are next door neighbors and they're so good!!!!!!
Had an amazing experience at ReyRey!! Jade took care of us and made some amazing cocktails while we dined on some of the best tacos in Austin from 10/10, the secret taqueria attached to the bar!! From the vibes to the drinks, this place is incredibly authentic… Great date night spot, or even a place to chill with friends and fam.
This was my first time here for my bachelorette party and it was such a special place. It felt exclusive, yet laid-back. Not overly crowded, enough room to dance and wiggle. Ryan, the bartender was AMAZING! So kind and thoughtful and always checked up on me and my gals to make sure we were having a good time. All the staff were super friendly from the bouncers to the bar backs, to the DJs and bartenders. Music was solid with different DJs switching out. The plants and lighting on the rooftop created a funky jungle vibe. The cocktails were tasty! My new fave spot to boogie and lounge.

I love the tropical decor of this rooftop but the music is extremely loud…I guess it worked though because it made me go upstairs to check it out. They also automatically add on a 20% service fee FYI.

Decent cocktails, cute ambiance and they had a pretty good DJ playing music. Good tacos next door at 10/10 taqueria. I'm knocking off a few stars because they add automatic gratuity which was not obvious when checking out on the iPad nor was it communicated via any sign at the bar. Only reason I knew it was automatic gratuity is because I had the receipt texted to me when I noticed I had essentially tipped 40% instead of 20%. I asked my friend to double check if there was a call out that I missed when she paid her bill but she said no where in the check out flow does it outline that there is automatic gratuity. Definitely feels predatory especially if folks are drinking and enjoying themselves. Be careful out there!
The night we went, the music was a miss for me personally. I'm sure they have better nights than what I experienced. The bar was slow, and the drinks were okay. They charged 20% tip automatically and asked for more when you pay on the screen. I didn't even notice it until my friend pointed out not to add more since it took us 15-20 min to get 5 drinks for our group. The after-party downstairs was so much better, and they had 2 different rooms playing different music, so that was pretty cool.

TLDR: You’re gonna get a 20% auto tip so ask them to remove it if you’re not okay with that. Bartender had a rude vibe. Couldn’t walk the seven steps to take our order at the other side of the (small) bar like any other bar I’ve ever been to. So he motioned for us to go to where he was standing. Fine. Order two margaritas, and he whips up the worst margarita I ever had, and I’ve had a lot lol. He made two together, split them unevenly, filled half of the tiny cup with the drink and the rest with some soda. Bad drink to say the least, but the real audacity was charging 12 dollars each AND an auto tip at 20% which is craaazy given that the service and drinks sucked. They just show you the tip screen with no way of knowing they added 20%. Paying 33 dollars for two tiny bad drinks hurt my soul. The atmosphere is cool though. Upstairs and downstairs. Would be cool in the summer. However the DJs were both really unfortunate. I thought reina was supposed to be a Latin bar? But they were playing loud techno EDM kinda music. Overall, would not recommend. Cockfight is a good alternative. There the drinks are good.
Its summer time in Austin right now. It’s hot and humid. First time here. I enter the establishment and notice that there are fans only at the cabanas. Didn’t think twice about it. I Head to the bar to order my beverages and ask can we sit anywhere and was told I can sit anywhere EXCEPT for the cabanas. So they expected us to sit in the heat. Also ordered a tequila pineapple which tasted rancid and ordered a ranch water that tasted like water. Will not be back.
