Bep Saigon Austin Reviews
I recently visited Bep Saigon with my Atx foodies group, and I must say we all were very impressed with this restaurant. This restaurant was actually one of the very few restaurants that managed to take our group in, and seperate the checks individually. In addition to this accommodation, they had our table all ready and prepared when we got there. The service was extremely speedy. They had food out quickly whenever we ordered appetizers or entrees. I ordered their pho, which was really good. They also have fish tacos and lemmon pepper chicken that was really good and the proportions are huge. The proportions are very much generous for the price that we paid for. This was the first time in a long time that I came across appetizers for $5-6. These prices are extremely rare now days, so I just wanted to share this for everyone who's price conscious during this economy right now. I got to give them 10/10. This is a nice family-operated restaurant that I highly recommend.
Amazing place if you want Asian food. I got fried dumplings as appetizer and the chicken broccoli which were packed in flavor. I usually don’t review but felt that this was needed
Got the iced coffee shrimp spring role and pho. So delicious and fulfilling. Highly recommend. Everything is very fresh and delicious
Pork eggrolls (took a bite out of one before taking a pic lol) and the braised pork belly were delicious! Definitely worth the money.
Honestly, this is the best Bánh Xèo I've had in Austin. The crepe is perfectly crispy. I actually love that they leave the shrimp shells on because it adds this extra savory crunch that's so good. Everything tastes super fresh, tons of herbs, and you can tell whoever's making these actually knows what they're doing. If you're tired of just hitting up the same pho spots, come here instead. This is the real deal.
New hidden gem. Have been here three times in the past month. I have not been scared to try different items on the menu because so far everything has been a great success. My picky eater kids love their lo mein because it has so much flavor and I always get the calamari because it is super crispy yet very tender with this yummy dipping sauce .
⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Spring Rolls, Incredible Pho, and Genuinely Kind People The spring rolls here are some of the best I’ve ever had—fresh, perfectly balanced, and packed with flavor. The herbs are vibrant, the rolls are tightly wrapped, and the peanut sauce is rich without being overpowering. You can taste how fresh everything is. The pho is just as impressive. The broth is deep, aromatic, and clearly simmered with care—not rushed. The noodles are tender, the meat is high quality, and every bowl feels comforting and authentic.
This restaurant has authentic Vietnamese flavors I grew up with and missed. So many tasty staples, not just pho and vermicelli bowls. Give the braised dishes a try if you want something rich and savory! The fish has bones, so get the pork belly if you don’t want that. The shaken beef is super tender, and the lime dipping sauce was spot on.
I’ve been coming to this restaurant since I was still in high school, and after moving away I hadn’t been back in years. I finally returned recently, and it felt just as amazing as I remembered! My whole family absolutely loved their bún bò Huế, mì xào giòn, and shaken beef, everything was so flavorful and satisfying. It’s definitely worth the trip back, and I’m so glad to have rediscovered this spot.
Bep Saigon is one of those spots that quietly delivers every time. The food is flavorful, fresh, and comforting exactly what you want from good Vietnamese cuisine. The pho is rich and aromatic, and the vermicelli bowls are packed with texture and taste. It’s fast, casual, and consistent, with no frills just good food that hits the spot. I’d give it a solid 9/10. Perfect for a chill lunch or a quick dinner when you're craving something warm and satisfying.
Was my first time, thought of trying Pho but ended up ordering Thai Basil Chicken. So my first attraction is always the portion size and along with that it was spicy, had lots of Chilli- Jalapenos. Tasted better with Basil although I would have loved more of it. Then I also had Pork Dumplings - Fried (6 pices), they were nice and fresh, crispy, kinda kept me lite, idk whether that's good or not. I paid about 26 for these two.
This was my first time dining here, and it certainly won’t be the last. The food was exceptionally fresh, rich in flavor, and thoughtfully prepared — every bite was a pleasure. The service was warm and attentive, with staff offering genuine hospitality that added to the overall experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a satisfying and enjoyable meal.
I’ve been to this place for over a year, this is the best Vietnamese restaurant in Austin 🥇. All the food I tried tasted amazing❤️, prices are pretty good for the quality. Cleanliness is over expectations✅. They always have Tv on Vietnamese food channel 😍😍😍 Looking for a go to place for Asian food, this is the one. 👍 My favorites dishes are pan fried flat noodles, bún bò Huế, bánh khọt, coconut core salad, shaken steak, spicy beef noodles
This is our favorite Vietnamese restaurant. We really appreciate the manager his name is Lo , his is so welcoming and very friendly and fast with our orders. He always remember my favorite dish that I always order here "it's Chinese broccoli with Beef " it's so delicious. We recommend this restaurant to all our friends too.
Another authentic Asian restaurant on the books! Vietnamese home style hot pot was amazing! My Vietnamese friend took me here to have a feel of the home staple for Vietnamese homes. Apparently sweeter on the south part of Vietnam than the North. Great spot for me as I do not like too sweet main dish. We had Fish hot pot, omg the noodles PLUS—-the Vietnamese crepe! Was up high on the bar! Had jellyfish salad and that was surprisingly good, not much of a fan of the last thing we ate I forgot what it’s called! Amazing menu and service! Lots of families celebrating when we went. Straightforward, yet clean and home like place. The price was so surprisingly affordable!
Came to Bep Saigon for a team lunch and they were accommodating and service was attentive. Overall, it was fine... nothing great but not terrible either. I ordered the pho, which was just average. Note that they have big portion sizes! I wouldn't go out of my way to return, but I also wouldn't mind coming back.
I would recommend checking this place out. Overall, this is a great spot to stop by for Vietnamese food. They also serve a good amount of Chinese dishes. Food: I ordered the Salt and Pepper Calamari and the Bun Bo Hue. Each dish had great flavors. I’m looking forward to coming back to try other items on their menu. Service: the staff was friendly and attentive. They checked on me throughout my meal and made sure I was taken care of. Ambiance: It’s a nice family-owned business. The restaurant was clean and had a good, homey feel.
Lunch special was a deal! For $14, we’re definitely getting two meals out of it. General Tso’s was good but I was getting lost in the sauce. Kung Pao was my favorite. Both were much spicier than expected. Egg roll was okay but got better when we added sweet chili sauce from home. Mixed feelings on the Cafe Sua Da but the consensus is a touch bitter. Overall, for the deal, we’ll definitely be back but will try other items for sure.
