Hen Austin Reviews
Drinks were delicious. Fun, cute underground bar that turns into a dance club later in the evening. Once it turns into a dance club they charge an entrance fee.
Great place to visit, the drinks where amazing the bartender was delightful making great suggestions. Loved the ambience and atmosphere.
Great new tiki place! Friendly staff with classic tiki cocktails and a few signature concoctions. Can't wait to be able to order their adorable mugs. Clean and nice. My husband and I collect tiki mugs from all over the country, and the mugs here are definitely cool and original, and a welcome modern update on the old school style! We definitely have nothing like them in our collection.
Awesome cocktails and great vibe. A nice hidden gem, would come back again and again. The Solana is very tasty!
Juno is the best here!!! They’re a great bartender, thoughtful and attentive! My drink was always full and they made sure we had a great time. The spot is very cool too, the vibes are great and the music is better. Drinks are wonderful and very tasty. Great spot for cool pics and cool seating too. Highly recommend this spot and this server.
This bar is own by a successful black woman and it's amazing! Great drink selections as well! I love the vibe here!
Nice little tucked away bar. I love their Tiki cups - $75 for 4 deal offered.
This place has a really cool atmosphere. The bartenders are really nice and the drinks are fun!!
Amazing tiki cocktail program and they have unique tiki mugs!
When I first heard about this bar, I was very excited & ready for a great Tiki bar to come to Austin. This place did not disappoint. Very cool vibe, not too in-your face with the Tiki-ness & doesn't feel forced. The servers & bartenders were great, the drinks were very tasty as well. A little pricey, but overall worth it. My favorite (and I like relatively sweet drinks) was the Washed Ashore. And it's perfect because it's walking distance from my office, so I'll definitely be bringing co-workers here. Y'all should def check this place out.
I want to start off, my wife and I are pretty big tiki bar fans. We tend to hit up all we can when we travel. We also have a pretty large rum collection for our own personal tiki experiences. Lost Lei was an above average tiki bar for us. Every once and awhile we stumble across a tiki bar that all the drinks are far to sweet. This was not the case at Lost Lei! First round, I had the Washed Ashore and my wife had a Saturn. Second round I had a Zombie (which they limit to 1 per person as it has 5 oz of rum) and she had a Beachbum. All of these but the Zombie we ordered to try drinks we haven’t made/tried before and all delivered. I would highly recommended any of them. The zombie was a really strong, well made zombie. In true tiki fashion, the cocktails came out looking great! Awesome garnishes. Also an awesome souvenir mug if your into the tiki thing like we are.
Great bar! Good music. High quality drinks. & really cool scenery / theme. Good vibes.
This is one cool spot.. intimate setting nice music. The bartender, Gabriella was AMAZING. She not only made excellent drinks but she remembered our drink order from a previous night.. the Andrea drink that she prepared was incredible!
Was really surprised by the quality of this place. Definitely designed to be instagramable but the drinks were spectacular and not that overly priced. I'll be coming back here a lot more often.
Very creative and yum cocktails. Totally instagrammable drinks. This place doesn't offer any snacks, finger though or any type of food, as a matter of fact. There are food trucks and restaurants all and this place, though. You can go here to enjoy drinks before and after the dinner. My favorite was the skeleton pitcher.
I lived the asthetic, very beautiful, the drinks are interesting too. I got a grapefruit drink that mostly tasted like alcoholic grapefruit

We got here just before 10pm or so before heading to the main event and it was empty, so I'm not sure how the actual vibe is there with a crowd. It seems good. The drinks were decent - same as usual drinks. The place isn't too big from what I remember, but it's clean and has a unique aesthetic to it. The bartenders were very friendly to us. They also have a DJ set up area.
Love the vibes, came here to have a couple drinks with friends. Only downside is the cocktails seem overflowing with ice. If you don't drink it fast your drinks will be watered down like crazy.

Love the atmosphere. The bouncers are amazing, and most of the staff are awesome. The bar staff is inconsistent- I’ve gotten the same drink each time three different days and the prices were $7, $14, and $12. Not sure what accounts for that difference, maybe different bartenders? Otherwise absolutely love the atmosphere and the different events they host.

Had high hopes for a tiki bar in Austin, unfortunately they were dashed. Cocktails were OK at best, and service was lackluster. Hope they can get it together, I'll try again in 6 months assuming they are still open. On the plus side, they do know to use orgeat in the Mai Tai.
