Little House Austin Reviews
If you’re looking for delicious fish and chips, this is the place! If I could rate more than 5 stars I would. This pub has a great atmosphere in a centralized part of Austin. The inside of the pub has a dark and moody vibe to it while the outside seating is spacious and accommodates to any type of weather. Great beer, great food, great atmosphere. Can’t ask for anything better!
I had the fish and chips which were very good. The batter was light and crispy. The service was also great. The food truck is located next to a bar which has plenty of outdoor and indoor seating.
The best fish and chips and tiny burgers in town!

Little House burgers rival some of the best around and you won't find better fish and chips in Austin (served proper like). The staples are excellent, sure, but pro strat: when there's a special available get it...Justin is an all around culinary wizard.
Love Little House food. Order early though because they do sell out of things. Their burger is a sleeper pick in the Austin's burger scene. Shhhhh, don't tell anyone. We don't need it making "a list". 😉 🤫
This food truck is slinging out some seriously good eats. I got the Flieten (German style fried chicken wings), fried cheese curds, and their version of ranch dipping sauce. The Flieten were the best fried wings I’ve ever had—fried to crispy perfection and the dry rub on them was deliciously spiced and smokey—simply phenomenal. The fried cheese curds were as indulgent as you’d expect. Their scratch-made version of ranch surprised me by how good ranch can be (I normally don’t like ranch)—their ranch paired so well with both the wings and the curds. The Little House food truck is located at the spacious outdoor seating out front at Draught House Pub & Brewery (their home-brew options on draft are also noteworthy)—together they make for a special, relaxed place to gather and enjoy food and drinks. Ordering is easy and convenient—being done online/mobile via the QR code on the side of the truck. My partner enjoyed her meal as well, and I was pleased that they read and followed all the special requests (removing ingredients, not substitutions). They text when ready, so no worries needing to linger nearby. Already looking forward to coming back.
This food truck is amongst a delightful vibe at the drought house. The fried cheese curds, the perfect pretzel bun with my brawt topped with the best sauerkaut I've had in years! Don't miss out on the curried ketchup. 10 out of 10 will go again.
Simple but really well done food with a German influence. Folks complain about ordering online without realizing it’s one guy in the truck and that order times would take much longer if he took orders face to face. Also love that most of the items are a la carte.
If they take the chili dog off the menu I'll kill myself.
Every time my mom comes to visit she has me take her for the fish n chips----and we re Irish born, so we dont play that Lomg John Silver style. All the food cooked back there by the Maestro is on point. Love them German chicken wings "n the cheese curds too, plenty o"beer to warsh 'er down with inside.
The jalapeno bacon burger is one of the best burgers I've ever had, period. Seriously, just thinking about it (like I'm doing now) makes my mouth water. My brother and I had it three times in the last five days. I want it again. The fish and chips are great if that's your thing, but this burger is special. Have a pint with it and really treat yourself to something nice.
BEST BURGER IN AUSTIN Well seasoned, simple and delicious. I know there are tons of great burgers in Austin, but this one is my favorite.
The Nashville hit chicken was the best chicken sando I’ve ever had. The fried Brussels sprouts and cheese curds are amazing too!
The burger. Holy sh*t. Literally one of the best burgers I've ever had. Fries were also perfectly cooked. Draught House is already a great bar and Little House is the absolute compliment to it.

An excellent vegan burger. The fish and chips were good but I’ve had better. I liked their use of compostable containers and paper bags instead of plastic: thanks for that!
TLDR: a great burger that goes will with the brewery This little food trailer sits directly in front of Draught House. It's a pretty simple "order on your phone", which I generally don't like as much, but it is what it is. I ordered the Jalapeno Bacon House burger with fries. Considering it's pub food served out of a trailer, It was really great. Really great fries, juicy burger. overall, a great burger to have with some beers.

The guy working the food truck was a total jerk. The food was stone cold. But he made it right even though he was pissed off. He remade the whole meal. These are some of the best wings I have ever had in my life. I’m not joking they were amazing. The fish and chips were great too.

Tired of paying dine in prices for food truck portions for FLAVORLESS food. Waited 40 Mins in chilly weather to get cold fries. Fish wasn't crisp or hot either. Fish and chips def don't recommend! Won't be back and wish I hadn't come. Tarter sauce was the best part tbh. 20 dollars gone for BAD FOOD.

Be warned. Excessive long wait time during peak hours. Online ordering estimated wait time is way off and there is no mechanism available to cancel orders. I wasted an almost $50, waited almost an hour, and left without getting the food. very bad experience.
Draught house is great bar. But this food truck is very disappointing. We went there yesterday evening hoping to get some great fish and chips. Almost everything tasted bland. Fish was oily and bland. Fries had no element of freshness. Fried cheese curds were overly fried. Sausage was good though. The wurst was the least worst. 😅
